The air was warm, uncomfortably warm, even for early June.

It didn't help there was a warm body pressed against him, an all too familiar face smushed into his chest, absolutely reeking of alcohol.

"Vale." The younger man breathed out, eyes wild and bright, giving him a smile that made his heart squeeze.

"Hmm?" Valentino responded, letting his hand carefully sweep away some of the younger man's stray curls, too drunk and too high on the adrenaline of a good race to care about his actions.

"I want to kiss you." The younger blurted out, before burying his face in his own hands, neck flushed red.

"Why don't we take a step outside, I think some fresh air would do us some good." Valentino suggested, not risking the prying eyes of crowds to give them privacy.

And suddenly he found himself being dragged along, quickly pulled out the back entrance of the bar, and towards a nearby alleyway, the younger crowding him to the wall as soon as he was certain no one could see them.

Lips hovering over Vale's, Valentino smiled, pulling his face back slightly as the younger man moved to kiss him, an immediate sound of annoyance falling from his lips.

"What's the hurry bambino?" Valentino teased, before cupping the younger man's face and pulling him into a warm heated kiss, the other melting into his embrace.

"Vale, I've waited since the checkered flag for that kiss, and we both know I can't do patience, If I could I wouldn't be winning every race." the young teased back, letting his head rest on Valentino's shoulder.

"Of course, who am I kidding, when was the great Marc Marquez ever revered for his patience." Valentino chuckled, moving for another kiss when a faint cry echoed.

"Vale, did you hear that?" Marc asked softly.

"Yeah, probably just a stray." Valentino dismissed.

"What if it's hurt Vale, we need to go check." Marc immediately insisted, moving towards the direct of the sound.

And perhaps Valentino was just a little too tipsy to deny Marc at the moment, so he followed silently.

"Vale! Look!" Marc exclaimed, pointing to a box at the back corner, faint shapes moving in the darkness visible.

"Careful Marc, the last thing we need is for you to get bitten by a wild animal." Valentino joked.

But as Marc got closer her suddenly paused, slamming a hand on Valentino's chest to stop the man from getting any closer. Shooting the older man a glare before he could protest.

"Hello?" Marc called out softly, kneeling in front of the box.

"I want my mama." A weak voice cried.

And as Valentino shuffled closer his heart squeezed. Two small figures were hunched over in the box, their face clearly dirty despite the lack of light, and painfully thin.

Okay so there is an age difference, but it's not as extreme (8 years). Valentina is the eldest Rossi daughter from a family that has only had sons.

Her grandfather, owner of the Rossi Family mechanic shop taught her the tricks of the trade. After a fight with her father, 16-year-old Valentina moved into the small apartment above the shop, working part-time while preparing for university. Choosing to earn herself, Vale ends up applying for university 3 years later. However, Lucia is left with a bright future, a university place but no funds. Valentina pays for Lucia's degree and starts working full-time. At this time, the Rossi shop is a hot bed for adrenaline junkie young women, with Grandfather Rossi adopting a gaggle of girls, teaching them how to repair motorbikes, cars, and everything in between.

When Vale is 26 her grandfather passes away, leaving the entire business to her. This move deepened an already devastating rift between Valentina and her father, a man who had no interest in continuing the trade but was angry at being snubbed by his father. He planned to sell the shop and move nearer to Lucia.

A 16-year-old Marcia moved to Tauvilla due to her father's job and visited the Rossi mechanic to have her Vespa fixed, (the thing was beyond repair). Instead, she befriended an 22 year old Valentina and her sister Lucia. But when Marcia was 20 she and Valentina fought and Marcia left for Spain, attending university gaining a Bachelors in business studies. Marcia returns 3 years later, a degree in one hand and keys to her mechanic shop in the other. Most of her hires are on part-time contracts, not many people need a mechanic in Tauvilla when the Rossi shop is there.

Celeste and Franchesca are two of these part-time hires, bouncing between the two shops. There are days when you can see Franchesca running between shops, pulling one uniform shirt off and putting the other uniform shirt on. Marcolina is a full-time contract, fiercely loyal to Vale, refusing to walk the road in front of the Marquez mechanics. Lucia returned to the family store, running the front of the shop, she does put a coverall on in dire tires.

marc as the strict dad falling for free spirited vale 

just have a feeling marc would have his kids living on a schedule to make sure they were optimizing their lives compared to vale who has never scheduled anything in his kids lives

was this the movie where they get married not realizing how many kids the other has? 

cue marc showing up with his 4+ kids (alex, fabio, pedro, insert motogp riders marc could consider adopting) to vale’s ranch with his 6+ kids (franky, mig, pecco, luca, marco, cele, insert some vr46 member i forgot exists) 

shenanigans ensue as they try to blend their families into one both marc and vale butt heads with the others parenting style 

eventually though the power of love they come together as one family and all the kids have to get used to each other

So, I've really been wanting to write this for a while, because the idea of Valentino and Marc as dysfunctional couple + parents is amusing.

Its 100% Marc impulsively adopting two boys they find in a box. Valentino has legal custody (this is important later) and Marc and Vale play house. They buy the boys minibikes and karts, David falling in love with the minibike and Kimi loving the karts. Everything seems jolly until the canonical divorce. Marc leaves their family behind (unwillingly but what can he do he doesn't have legal custody) and Valentino is a hot mess who realizes he really can't take care of these two boys so dumps the responsibility onto his mother and Marc. Marc ends up with full custody of David, while Valentino's mom gains custody of Kimi.

Marc does his best to be present in the boys lives, while Valentino is extremely loving, he is a bit to preoccupied with his own ego and self-pity.

then 2020 happens, even though David is basically an adult, with Marc's injury Valentino is called back into the picture.

It takes a whole four years for Marc and Valentino to make-up, slowly talking things out, understanding their differences, and for once being adults.

In this process Kimi and David are just giggling in the background and being chaotic like they were meant to be.

Anyway I have a lot more thoughts but I have no time right now to yap. please feel free to send me asks about this.
