Companions reacting to Sole telling them a story of going to a baseball game when she was a kid and half way through the game her father stands up and starts yelling “80,000 people! 80,000 PEOPLE!!!” Freaked out, Sole’s mom asks “Honey, what is wrong!” And he points at the sky and yells “80,000 people and that bird had to shit on me!” (Sole tells them this after explaining real baseball.)

Cait - Is laughing quite a bit, and she explains that she has felt that way before. Except her feeling was generalized and metaphorical because it was about the world instead of a bird.

Piper - Is laughing like crazy, the mental image cracking her up. She actually even snorts her Nuka-Cola out of her nose when F!Sole points out the specific place in Diamond City that this incident occurred.

Curie - Is giggling like a madwoman, and her face is rosy from all of the laughter. F!Sole tells the story in such a way that it just makes her laugh harder than she has in all of her time as a synth.

MacCready - Says that he's had birds crap on him before, and he's actually said something like that himself. He was at Goodneighbor when it happened and he wondered how in the world the bird decided to crap on him when there was a town full of people.

Deacon - Is grinning widely as he pictures the story. He tells her that her story is almost too funny to be true, and he playfully questions if she is pulling one of his famous tricks.

Codsworth - Laughs heartily for a long moment. He is sure to tell her that she tells stories in such a humorous manner and he always loves listening to her narratives.

Hancock - Is cackling for quite a while as he imagines her father and the look on his face. He actually recounts a funny story about his own father, remembering how the man had slipped in Brahmin dung and fussed about it relentlessly all day long.

Danse - Actually laughs a little, and he asks about what happened afterward. When she says that multiple people all around them starting laughing at his expense and began staring at them, Danse shakes his head, laughing but also feeling a little embarrassed on behalf of F!Sole.

Preston - Is chuckling quite a bit, and he sympathizes entirely, speculating about how embarrassing that must have been in front of all those people. She assures him that she was pretty young so she was mostly laughing at her dad for saying that and laughing at her mother as she tried to make him sit down and shut up.

Valentine - Says that the original Nick Valentine actually went to that baseball game and he heard her father shout those words. The old Nick was in his mid to late teens when he attended, and Nick can remember how the old Nick was laughing and all of the enjoyment he had gotten out of it even if he could not figure out which person had yelled the words.

X6-88 - Simply raises an eyebrow at the story. He then questions why F!Sole's father didn't just shoot the bird afterward. It would have solved the problem rather efficiently.

Strong - Says that he should've just killed the bird by throwing a big rock like a super-mutant would. Strong says he's killed birds that way before and it's really fun.

Maxson - Expresses a great interest in the story and asks her if she has any more stories about her childhood. He is legitimately interested in how Pre-War life was.

Sturges - Laughs quite a bit, and he tells her that her father had a valid question. Why did the bird decide to crap on him out of everyone that was there?

Glory - Laughs heartily in reply, greatly enjoying the mental image that springs into her mind. She ends up asking about F!Sole's family and gets an earful about how wonderful they both were. Glory does not really mind, and somewhere deep inside her, she wishes she had a family to remember, too.

Last Night I talked about first kisses in general, but tonight I want to do first kiss with who I ship my characters with.

Remington and Boone share their first kiss before Remington does her murder field trip to the Legion. Boone realizes that there is a chance Remington might not come back and makes an impulse decision to kiss her. Remington of course reciprocates and she tells him that she will see him again soon. They don’t get to really talk about their feelings for each other until after Hoover Dam.

Bartholomew kisses Rosie on their date before he leaves for the Sierra Madre. Bartholomew never had waited so long to kiss a girl he liked before. With Rosie he waited until the moment felt right.

Cato kisses Tacita (created by @bbbetty) six months after they were married. Cato didn’t want to force Tacita into any sort of relationship because she was a slave. Tacita had simply tapped Cato on the shoulder and when he turned she gave him a little kiss. Later with Ezra (a Followers Doctor also belonging to @bbbetty) they were up late, talking and bantering and Cato thought why not and kissed Ezra who just grinned and said that was nice.

Nat has her kiss, with another oc of mine, Nellie when she leaves Flatwoods to follow the Responder Emergency Signal. Nat wanted to say goodbye to Nellie because she was one of the few people she cared about in the Vault, and Nellie grabbed Nat by the collar and kissed her, and told Nat to visit.

Gwen of course with Butch their first real kiss (not the one when they were children) was after they had a near Miss with super mutants and were caught up in the moment and had one of those “Oh My God You’re Alive” kisses. Later with Deacon, they kiss while undercover. About to be caught picking a lock, Deacon grabbed Gwen and made it appear they were getting hot and heavy not breaking and entering.

Lynn kissed Elder Maxson after they had been having a few drinks and bonding over being leaders. Maxson had started talking about the Brotherhood Codex and Lynn, being drunk and not wanting to hear more, thought that kissing him to shut him up was a good idea. (One thing lead to another and ended up sleeping with each other the same night)

Audrey and Nick have their first kiss after the Institute is defeated and Eddie Winter is killed. They had long tip-toed around liking the other, but with obvious baggage in the way for the two of them, but one night, after having supper together, a record playing “We’ll meet again”. They both have their closure and it just feels like the right moment.

Cait: Cait stirred in her sleep asSole leaned over her body, their slightly damp lips pressing a trail of kissedfrom her ear to her cheek. She swatted Sole away, mainly because they were unknowinglytickling her awake.

“will yastop tickling me…” Cait mumbled, using her hand to move their face away fromher. Sole hit the bed with a laugh. Cait rolled over, blinking rapidly as shewoke up, looking over at Sole. Sole leaned up slowly and kissed her. Caitcovered her eyes with her hands, “God, yer so damn cute Sole,” she groaned,making Sole laugh again. Sole pushed Cait on her back, looming over her as theyattacked her face with more gentle kisses, “Sole get yer ass off me,” Caitwhined, but secretly she didn’t want them to stop at all.

Curie: Curie hummed when she feltSole’s hot breath on her face, followed by a few soft kisses placed along herjaw. She still wasn’t used to this whole ‘relationship thing’ and the wholesleeping ordeal when she thought about it. But she loved the feeling in herstomach when Sole woke her up in the mornings, the same way every day. Sheturned around in Sole’s arms, a soft smile appearing on her face.

“Goodmorning,” she hummed again, leaning up and pressing kisses to Sole’s cheeks.She loved mornings where she got to wake up next to her new lover.

Danse: The minute he feels Sole leanover him and kiss his nose, he shoots awake scaring the hell out of Sole. Itstakes him a second to realise what was going on and he snuggles back into thesheets, letting Sole nuzzle into his chest. He smiles when they lean up,covering his jaw in tiny soft kisses and he tightens his grip on them.

Deacon: He still isn’t used to theinteraction, he hadn’t shared a bed with anyone since Barbra and he definitelyhadn’t expected to have been woken up by Sole attacking him with sweet kissed.He missed the affection and he can’t get enough of it. He rolled over in bed,his arms wrapped tightly around Sole as he reciprocates their previous actions,showering Sole with small kisses.

Gage: Despite being a heavy sleeperand the tough guy that he is, he loves the feeling of Sole pressing their lipsto his cheek as they attempt to wake him up. He pretends that he is stillasleep just, so he could be showered with more love and affection. Although ifanyone walked in, I’m one hundred percent sure he’d push them out of the bed,but he’d totally make it up to them later on if you get my drift.  

Hancock: Usually its Hancock who wakesSole up with a few rough kisses and he is pleasantly surprised that it was theother way around this time. A husky chuckled escaped his mouth when he feltSole showering his face in gentle kisses.

“MorningSunshine,” he mumbles, leaning over their body as he captures Sole in a hotkiss. He can’t help but think about how lucky he is and how he wants hismornings to always start exactly like this.

MacCready: MacCready subconsciously moanedin his sleep, making Sole giggle against his cheek. He shifted in his sleepwhen he felt the vibrations from Sole’s giggle on his face, waking up slowly.He groaned as his eyes adjusted to the bright light pouring through thewindows. Even though they are alone he can’t help but blush at the affection Solewas giving him. And, although he pretends to be annoyed, he secretly loves it.

Nick: Nick doesn’t really need tosleep but he liked being so close to Sole, so he’d lay next to them andrecharge for a couple of hours. He wasn’t expecting Sole to wrap their armaround his torso and lean up to press light kisses to the worn skin on hischeek. But he wasn’t going to complain about it.

“Hey,” Soleyawned, meeting his eyes and Nick smiled, squeezing their shoulder.  

“Mornin’,”

Piper: “Mmm… Blue,” she muttered movingaway from them as their hot breath fanned onto her face. Sole scooted closer toPiper, wrapping their arm around her as they pressed a couple more kisses toher cheek, “Bluee…” she whined, moving over so she was practically at the edgeof the bed. She was not a morning person, so when Sole tried to wake her up anyway, she was going to end up being cranky.

Preston: “Preston…” Sole whispered asthey leaned over him, their soft lips pressing against his cheek. No movement.Sole pecked him again and again, attempting to wake him up. He is amiablysurprised to be woken up by Sole this way, in fact, he really enjoys the loveand attention.

“At leastits not raining,” he mumbled, opening his eyes and peering out the window fromhis space in the bed. He turned to Sole, “Morning Babe.”

X6-88: X6 didn’t really sleep, well hedid, but he was a very light sleeper and that was only because he had to alwaysbe on his guard. You never know what’s coming for you in the night. He tensedup when he felt Sole waking him up, by pecking his face with their soft lips.

“What areyou doing?” he asked, his eyes snapping open. He picked himself up by theelbows looking over at the person next to him. When he realised it was onlySole, he released the breath he was holding. He had to get used to sleepingbeside someone, although he could totally get used to waking up like that.

Maxson: Solehummed as their lips pressed against Maxson’s jaw, awakening him from his sleep.Maxson furrowed his eyebrows as his cheeks turned a rosy shade a pink. Heopened his eyes and dominantly shoved Sole under his strong arms as he attackedher face with kisses, his beard tickling the soft skin on their cheeks. Soleran their hands up his chest and laced their arms behind his neck, pulling himinto a hot kiss.

“Morning,” he mumbled into their mouth. Heloved starting off his days like this.
