My friend’s results gave me hope for my hair regrowth!
A Life-Changing Hair Transplant Journey at Hairfree and Hairgrow
At Hairfree and Hairgrow, every patient’s story inspires us to deliver the best care. Recently, one of our patients shared his heartfelt experience at our Surat branch. His journey is a testament to overcoming years of hesitation and taking a step toward a confident new look.
Facing Hair Loss for 6 to 7 Years
For nearly 6 to 7 years, our patient struggled with hair loss. Over time, the concern grew, and he found himself searching for a solution. Despite exploring options online, he wasn’t sure where to start. It wasn’t until a friend who had undergone a successful hair transplant at our clinic recommended us that he decided to visit.
“My friend’s results gave me hope. I booked an appointment with Dr. Jinkal and finally started my journey.”
The First Step: A Consultation That Built Trust
During his consultation with Dr. Jinkal, all his doubts were addressed. From understanding the procedure to the time it would take and the care required afterward, everything was explained in detail.
“I was a little worried initially, but the doctor explained every step — how long the costs and the aftercare might take. I felt comfortable and confident moving forward.”
This clarity and the doctor’s approachable nature gave him the assurance he needed to proceed.
The Procedure: Surprisingly Pain-Free
On the day of the surgery, our patient admitted feeling slightly nervous but quickly realized there was no need.
“The procedure started with a small pinch during anesthesia, but after that, there was no pain at all. If I felt even slight discomfort, the doctors addressed it immediately. It was so smooth and effortless.”
With over 4,000 grafts transplanted successfully by Dr. Jinkal and Dr. Pankaj, the procedure was completed efficiently and comfortably.
Post-Surgery Care: A New Beginning
Following the surgery, he was given detailed instructions for aftercare, ensuring a smooth recovery.
“The doctors guided me on what to do and what to avoid. I feel fully prepared to take care of my new hair. Now, it’s my job to follow their advice and ensure the best results.”
He compared caring for his “newborn” hair to nurturing something precious — a responsibility he embraces with enthusiasm.
Looking Ahead: Excited for the Transformation
Reflecting on his journey, the patient shared his excitement for the future.
“It has been such a good experience. I’m looking forward to seeing my results in the coming months. This clinic has made everything so easy for me.”

My sister informed me that my hair coming out in clumps for the last few months is most likely a post-covid thing. I had to look that shit up and I'm so upset that it's a thing. I genuinely wouldn't have guessed
And here I was trying to change my hair products and shit. I'm really afraid it'll start showing but I'm grateful that so far it hasn't because my hair is pretty dense. A lot of people say it wasn't permanent for them but it's been since September or October?

Rosemary oil is often used for its potential benefits in promoting hair growth and maintaining healthy hair. While scientific research on its effectiveness is ongoing, some anecdotal evidence and traditional wisdom suggest that it can be beneficial for hair.
Here are some of the potential benefits of rosemary oil for hair:
1. Stimulating Hair Growth:
Rosemary oil is believed to improve blood circulation to the scalp, which may in turn promote hair growth. Improved circulation can help deliver more nutrients and oxygen to hair follicles, potentially encouraging the growth of new hair.
2. Reducing Hair Loss:
Some people use rosemary oil to help prevent hair loss and reduce the incidence of thinning hair. Its potential ability to strengthen hair and improve hair follicle health may contribute to this benefit.
3. Dandruff and Scalp Health:
Rosemary oil has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that may help combat dandruff and maintain a healthy scalp. A healthy scalp is essential for supporting healthy hair growth.
4. Improving Hair Texture:
Rosemary oil is rich in antioxidants, which can help protect hair from damage caused by free radicals. This can contribute to improved hair texture and shine.
5. Preventing Premature Graying:
Some people believe that rosemary oil may help delay the onset of premature graying of hair due to its potential antioxidant properties.

Finasteride isn't my favorite- it seems to have some not-great side effects in a decent amount of patients, necessitates (usually) a prescription, and requires the patient to stay on the medication to maintain results. Now, let me tell you all about
Rosemary Oil!
Here is a paper about its effectiveness in balding cis men vs minoxidil
Here is a Dropbox link to the full study text
TL;DR- "In the present study, application of topical rosemary solution was as effective as minoxidil 2% in the treatment of [androgenetic alopecia]. In addition, there was better treatment compliance in the rosemary group compared with the minoxidil group. This may be the result of decreased frequency of scalp itching and higher patient satisfaction with decreased hair loss in the rosemary group."
More below!
Rosemary oil is cheap and easy to get your hands on, here's a shop that has good pricing and good reviews. I haven't ordered from them yet, so this is not me vouching for them in any way.
You want to make sure that you're diluting the rosemary oil down with a medium that won't clog your pores or follicles because pure essential oil can cause burns to skin. I put 5-6 drops of oil per ounce right into my conditioner bottle, thoroughly massage it into my thinning areas, then leave it on until the end of my shower and that seems to work well. If you want an oil base so you can use it outside of the shower, I recommend The Ordinary's Hemi-Squalane which is formulated for skin as well as hair applications and only costs $5 for a 30mL bottle.
Feel free to ask me any questions you may have!
Something interesting i spotted on twitter. For anyone interested in going on T!

Enjoying my work? You can leave me a tip on Ko-Fi | Have a request?
[After days of travelling, fighting and sleeping on rocks, a rest at a tavern is well-earned. Not feeling up to taste the nightlife with your friends, Halsin and you retire early. The evening turns into something heartfelt and domestic as you wash his hair and hum a song he's grown all too familiar with.]
The hot water against your skin is pleasant enough to elicit a chuckle of euphoria from you. It seems like a lifetime ago that you last had a warm bath. In some way, it was.
People downstairs are making good use of their money, time and energy - that you're sure of. Their music and laughter resound brightly but it's muffled by the walls and floors of the tavern, making it sound like the party is not mere meters below you but entire worlds away; almost like a memory of a banquet you're desperately trying to recall.
Despite not being used to the comforts of the city, Halsin was quick to accept your offer of shared bath. Perhaps it was the sharing part, more than the bath, that had convinced him. In any event, his broad back is resting against your chest, although judging by the minimal weight put on your body, you know he's holding back in fear of hurting you. Maybe one day you'll manage to get your point across that you would love to be smothered by the weight of his body.
As your thoughts wander further and further, you don't notice the soft melody escaping your lips. But Halsin does and the enigma of the tune he's grown to associate with you only makes him crack under the burning curiosity:
"You often hum this song to yourself. What is it?"
Only then do you finally hear your own voice. Have you really made a habit out of this? Suddenly flustered, your cheeks begin to burn. You've done nothing wrong and yet you feel embarrassed like a juvenile petty thief.
"It's something the washwomen back home used to sing while working," you explain awkwardly. In an attempt to steer away from the conversation, you reach for the cup next to the washtub. You did, after all, promise to wash his hair. "The river carried their voices, making the song audible pretty much everywhere."
"Would you mind singing it for me?" he asks, hesitance vibrant in his voice. Halsin must have noticed your sudden timidness and didn't want to push on but some part of him longed to hear the song so deeply ingrained in your mind.
You clear your throat. The lyrics first leave your mouth in a shaky voice, unsure whether your singing is pleasant enough for Halsin to want to actually hear it, but soon you let the comfort of the well-known melody take over your hesitant mind.
In my garden grows a rose Little Mania, go water my horse I can’t, I won’t, I’m afraid of the horse I fear the horse because I’m young
Halsin lets out a quiet sigh of relief as you pour the warm water over his hair. He smells of pine needles, sweat and mud but it's a good smell - it's the smell of someone who survived. And considering the strange course your life has taken these past few months, staying alive is the best thing that can happen.
In my garden grows rosemary Tell me, Mania, who’s the one that charmed you? Johnny’s eyes, Johnny’s eyes For they fell in love with my heart so much
The druid feels... odd. Not in the bad sense, of course. Perhaps "unfamiliar" would be a better descriptor. He's not used to having someone care for him in such an intimate, selfless way. After suffering so many losses in his life, Halsin doesn't quite know how to comfortably enjoy a triumph of sorts. Underneath the superficial pleasure and indulgement, lies a bottomless ocean of anxiety. Part of him expects this love to be short-lived like most affections in his long life.
His senses are overtaken by the dizzying aroma of lavender and rosemary as you carefully brush the oils through his hair.
In my garden grows a berry Tell me, little Mania, were you young? I was as young as a berry in the woods Like a berry in the woods, my love
Halsin doesn't often let himself dream and fantasise. It's better to expect nothing than to allow unrealistic scenarios to break his heart. However tonight, in the twilight of the chamber and with your soft breaths brushing against his neck, he lets his thoughts explore:
Years from now, if both of you manage to survive the upcoming series of misadventures, would this bathing be part of a routine? Dare he picture - after having put your children to sleep, would you regularly brush your fingers through his hair? Would you allow him to do the same for you? Just when he thought his heart could not swell more, the fantasy of a domestic life by your side made him ache. Something so sweet, something he's inhumanly desperate for, appears both out of reach and as the cure for his soul.
A thrilling shiver overtakes his body as he feels your nails gently scratch his scalp.
In my garden grows a lilly Tell me, little Mania, will you be mine? How do I know and tell you? How do I know if my mother will give me away?
Hot water is poured over his hair again. It feels just as good as it did before, if not better. The tension in his muscles dissipates, along with the soreness of day-long hikes over mountains and fields.
Then, Halsin feels your arms wrap around his midsection, your bare chest flush against his back. The hug is tight enough for him to be overly aware of the way your torso moves as you breathe calmly. Soft exhales brush against the warm skin of his shoulder. Perhaps it sounds a little cheesy, but to the druid, your smaller frame fits his bigger one perfectly.
Is this what being loved feels like?
"I know you're a man of virtue and honesty, my love," you murmur against his shoulder, "but can we lie a little and pretend we're still soiled and stay in here for a moment longer?"
His body shakes slightly as a chuckle rumbles in his chest. It still feels hardly believable that someone of your sort to seek his companionship. If he ever rejects your affections, he will have to be under a powerful curse.
"It brings my heart much joy to know you hold me in such high regard," he answers. One of his hands reaches for your palm, cradling it with almost fearful carefulness. Then, in an equally tender manner, Halsin places a chaste peck on the inside of your wrist. "Albeit, I am also faithful to nature."
You giggle when Halsin captures your lips in a passionate kiss. He's quick to turn around, water spilling out of the washtub, and trap you underneath him.

Crown of Glory: A Hair Growth Working
This is a simple working that is meant to be a fun addition to your hair care routine. I am using this as a weekly hair oil treatment. Feel free to use all of it, parts of it, or none at all. It’s your hair journey, so make it your own! Go wild and create your own working if you would like, too. I will post updates in the next few months of the results.
Hair, that crowning glory atop our heads, has long been revered as a symbol of power, vitality, and spiritual connection. It is said to be an extension of the self, a tangible manifestation of inner strength and identity. In bygone eras, hair was so cherished that its loss was often seen as a sign of misfortune or a weakening of the spirit.
This working is a form of Wortcunning, where magick and medicinal plant knowledge intertwine. This hair growth oil is infused with herbs known to help stimulate hair growth, combat hair loss & thinning hair, breakage, and nourish the scalp. It is essential to remember that while magick can be a potent tool, it is not a replacement for proper hair care and a healthy lifestyle. Nourish your body from within, and let this working be a catalyst for transformation.
As with all workings, approach this spell with reverence and intention. Harness the power of nature and your own inner strength to cultivate a Crown of Glory worthy of royalty.
Ingredients for the Crown of Glory Hair Growth Oil:
To harness the power of nature for lush, thriving hair, I have carefully selected a blend of potent herbs and oils.
Rosemary: Renowned for its hair-growth-stimulating properties, rosemary has been shown to rival the effects of commercial hair growth treatments.
Nettle Root: Rich in nutrients, nettle root helps combat hair loss by inhibiting DHT, a hormone linked to thinning hair.
Saw Palmetto Berries: Traditionally used to address hair loss, Saw Palmetto Berries offers support for overall hair health.
Garden Sage: Stimulating blood circulation to the scalp, sage encourages thicker hair growth and pairs beautifully with rosemary.
Horsetail (Herb): Packed with silica, this herb strengthens hair strands, preventing breakage and promoting growth.
Evening Primrose Oil: Nourishing both new and existing hair, evening primrose oil contributes to longer, healthier locks.
Safflower Oil: A lightweight carrier oil, safflower oil aids in absorption of the herbal properties while also stimulating hair growth at the cellular level, and nourishes the scalp. Liquid Coconut Oil can also be used.
To maximize the potency of the ingredients, the oil infusion process spanned a full 30-day moon cycle. However, a rapid infusion method can also be employed for those seeking a quicker remedy. There are plenty of resources and videos on YouTube on both of these methods.
______________________________________________________________
Ingredients Used For Working:
I painted my workspace with chalkboard paint, but don't worry if you can't! Any flat surface or even paper will work as long as your candles are safe and sound in holders while burning.
Hair Growth Oil or Your favorite hair growth oil
4 green candles ( I used chime candles)
Green chalk (white is a good sub)
Blessing oil (I use a mix of Frankincense & Myrrh with clear quartz crystal inside the bottle... all charged by a full moon)
A Bluetooth speaker
Frankincense & Myrrh Incense Cones
____________________________________________________________
Steps For My Working:
First, let's get your space ready for magick! Cleanse everything up, and give your candles and tools a little cleansing & consecrating. I love burning Frankincense & Myrrh incense for this part.
Next, you can write "Hair Growth" or whatever phrase/keywords work for you on your green candles, starting from the bottom and going up. Put them safely in their holders and drip your blessing oil on each candle.
Next, draw a spiral with green chalk, starting from the outside and working your way in. Then, draw little arrows pointing from your candles to the spiral. This is like focusing all the candle magick into one powerful spot!
Now at the spiral's heart, position the speaker and place your bottled hair growth oil on top of the speaker. I used a hair growth frequency to pulse through it, like a sonic energy spell to charge and attune the oil.
youtube
Then you will want to turn on the music and light those candles. Remember to light them going clockwise – it's like winding up the working.
Now as the music plays and the candles flicker, close your eyes and picture your Crown of Glory! While you’re visualizing your dream hair, say this:
By the power of nature's might, May my hair grow strong and bright. Roots deep, strands long and free, A crown of glory, wild and free. Grow, my locks, strong and deep, Let ancient powers your spirit keep. With every drop, a potent spell, To break the bonds where tresses dwell. Crown my head with growth anew, May hair flourish, strong and true. Let follicles awaken, deep and sound, As vital force is richly found. As this oil is blessed and shaken, May hair growth be fully awakened.
When all the candles are finished burning, you can clean up your space. You can throw away or recycle things as you normally would.
____________________________________________________________
May the Gods, Goddesses, and Moon bless your workings, and may the universe conspire in your favor. Happy Casting Seekers!

hey i know male pattern baldness is hot and normal, but for someone who personally doesnt want to experience it, how would you suggest avoiding balding when going on T?
let me know if you find out. for real though, i’ve done a little research— your best bet is probably either finasteride or minoxidil. finasteride is a DHT blocker, which basically means it blocks the thing that causes male pattern baldness, among other things. however those other things it blocks can include facial/body hair and bottom growth, and there’s a chance it’ll make your period come back. if you decide to try finasteride you might want to wait until you’ve gotten those changes from testosterone so that they aren’t potentially blocked from happening. for people with penises there’s also a low chance of permanent erectile tissue damage, and considering people with vulvas also have erectile tissue, i imagine there’s a risk there too. i will say i took finasteride for about a month before it started lowering my libido, which was a big dealbreaker, so i stopped. finasteride works really well for a lot of people though! if you take it and notice a side effect you don’t want (like menstruating) you can stop and the effects will reverse. you can ask your doctor about it.
i don’t know as much about minoxidil, but you can get topical minoxidil over the counter (as opposed to finasteride), and it also comes in a pill form (which i don’t know enough about, but might consider trying next). it’s not a DHT blocker like finasteride. also, if you look it up you might come across a study claiming that rosemary oil works better than topical minoxidil, but it’s a badly done shit study— rosemary oil is nice and massaging your head in general stimulates blood flow which is good for your hair, and a lot of people like rosemary oil, but it’s not actually proven to treat hair loss like minoxidil is. you could always try rosemary oil if you want though. the downsides of topical minoxidil are that it’s a routine you have to keep up consistently, and it could give you chemical burns. if all else fails i guess you could get a hair transplant although that is very expensive. i’m sure there are other treatments out there but a lot are definitely bullshit, so try them at your own risk. i’m not an expert or a medical professional though!
#my hair is fine right now but my hairline has receded enough that i am trying to take preventative measures#i’m in my early 20s i don’t wanna be bald yet lol#i hope this is vaguely helpful#inbox#anon#yeehaws
