“Alright, back to the house, you muppet,” Roy says, motioning in the direction of Jamie’s home.  “I’m fine, Coach,” Jamie says, dropping down to count out more burpees. “One.” “You’re not fine. Get up, and let’s go the fuck home.” “Two. No, Coach, I’m good, swear down. Three. Just tell me how many you want me to do, and I’ll do ‘em, watch. Four,” Jamie continues to count off.  “Four, I want you to do four. Now, come on. We’re going back to your house, and that’s a fucking order.” The command finally forces Jamie to stop. Can’t disobey an order and all that. Jamie pauses, hands on his knees, attempting to catch his breath. Roy rises from the bench and starts in the direction of Jamie’s house, Jamie dragging his feet behind him.
