Also for the record if any of these people are problematic I don’t know about it or what happened my entire YouTube feed for the past six years has been Reddit stories and video essays I use for background noise when I draw so if I mention someone sucky I’m sorry I haven’t consumed their content since at least middle school

For starters, I think Emma, Millard, and Horace avoid it altogether out of principle. Emma and Horace because people are stupid and they cannot believe this is what modern entertainment is and Millard because he has ruined many videos by pointing out every inaccuracy he could find and he got sick of the cesspool of misinformation that is the internet.

Jacob has been watching Minecraft videos since the beginning of the damn site. Specifically he discovered iHasCupquake and DanTDM a couple years after joining the loop and now when he’s bored and in a time with internet access he watches Minecraft Oasis and DanTDM’s Custom Mod Adventures on repeat. Noor is the exact same way, but with life hack videos very obviously aimed at middle school girls that have stuff like painting staples with nail polish and sneaking candy into class via empty glue sticks. Think Wengie and SaraBeautyCorner. They actually grew up with this so it’s more about the nostalgia than anything else

Enoch likes history videos. And videos about games like War Thunder and World of Tanks. He also likes Vine compilations, discovered when Jacob and Noor were quoting vines to each other and Enoch joined with them having absolutely zero knowledge he even knew what that was. (Horace also begrudgingly knows what Vine was, but instead of saying “yeah I sure hope it does” to Enoch’s “road work ahead???” he goes “I hate you and everything you stand for” and Enoch laughs.)

Olive, Claire, and Bronwyn watch Gacha Life/Club/whatever the fuck they’re on now I don’t know anymore music videos and Vine compilations. Bronwyn is here for quality control. (Bronwyn’s favorite YouTube series is Rosanna Pansino’s Nerdy Nummies series, even though she has no idea what any of the references are. What she does know is that she showed Jacob the Angry Birds cupcakes and he demanded they be made that exact day.)

Hugh is fascinated by all this but has little to no idea what’s going on. He did however get very invested in Sanders Sides and is very impatiently waiting with me for Orange to be revealed.

Fiona also doesn’t know what’s going on but she thinks Warrior Cats AMVs and multi-animator projects are INSANE she loves them and gets very sad when Noor is helping her look them up and they find out yet another creator is problematic

Easter may have come and gone, but spring is still in full swing and so is nesting season. Wouldn’t surprise me if Spamton loves this time of year because, well, pipis. Most likely inspired by Pipi’s attack from the Mega Man franchise, hence the name, these strange blue eggs explode into little projectiles shaped like Spamton’s face that are inescapable and deal damage. When confronted with them, your goal is to destroy them before they destroy you.

Despite resembling eggs, they are described as “an invasive species of freshwater clam”, a joke referring to the pipi, a species of seawater clam native to New Zealand, which shares the same name as the aforementioned Pipi.

These sugar cookies inspired by Spamton’s infamous attack are full of lemon flavor fitting for spring! How fancy, a few of them are even decorated with little bows, a nod to the very rare Ms. Pipis you may encounter in an otherwise darker route.

For the cookie recipe, I looked at several lemon sugar cookie recipes and based mine off of the two I liked best: Rosanna Pansino’s Lemon Sugar Cookie recipe from her book “The Nerdy Nummies Cookbook”, as well as Maria Lichty’s recipe from twopeasandtheirpod.com - with a few of my own modifications. These cookies turned out beautifully. Soft, fluffy, lemony, and delicious.

As for the lemon icing, I ran into trouble. Not necessarily with the recipe so much as my own inexperience with making and working with cookie icing. The header image is evidence I’m no expert with royal icing and I do need a lot of practice, and I learned the hard way just how thin this icing can be. I totally understand if you want to use a different icing recipe after reading this, but be warned, many cookie icings call for milk, which doesn’t mix well with lemon juice unless you’re making buttermilk. I was worried this would result in lumpy icing, and since I didn’t have any non-dairy milk alternatives, I instead followed Rosanna Pansino’s recipe on Royal Icing (also found in her Nerdy Nummies cookbook) which uses egg whites, powdered sugar, vanilla, and my own addition of 1/4 cup lemon juice to make it “lemon royal icing”. If you’re going to use this recipe, I strongly suggest adding up to 5 cups of powdered sugar so it’s thicker and not too runny, but still floods nicely.

And now, on to the recipes!

PIPIS COOKIES:

Ingredients:

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

2 sticks (1 cup) softened butter (it doesn’t matter if it’s salted or unsalted)

1 & 1/2 cup sugar

2 large eggs

2 tablespoons lemon zest

2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tsp vanilla

Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl and set aside. In another, larger mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar, then beat in eggs, vanilla, lemon zest and lemon juice. Lastly add in your flour mixture, a little at a time, forming your cookie dough. After you’ve gotten all your flour mixture fully incorporated into a nice big doughy ball, divide that dough in half, shape those halves into balls, place in separate airtight containers, and store in the refrigerator anywhere between several hours to overnight.

Preheat your oven to 350 F. Grease your cookie sheets or line them with parchment paper. Bring the chilled dough out of the refrigerator and dust your work surface with flour, then roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick. With an egg-shaped cookie cutter, cut out cookies and transfer these to cookie sheets. Re-roll the dough and cut out more cookies to use as much of your dough as possible.

Bake cookies for 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are puffed up and no longer shiny or wet looking. Let cookies cool on cookie sheet for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

[[BIG SHOT]] TIP: When one of your cookie sheets is full, bake that sheet of cookies while continuing to roll out dough and cut out more cookies to fill in the other sheet. This way, you always have a batch baking as you continue to use as much of your dough as possible, and saves time waiting. Don’t forget to set a timer for the baking cookies!

After your cookies have baked and cooled, it’s time to make the icing.

LEMON [PIPIS] ICING:

Ingredients:

4 or 5 egg whites - if you want it thicker like I did, maybe just use 4 egg whites, but 5 will give you more icing if you need it.

4 or 5 cups powdered sugar

1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Blue and red/pink food coloring

First, with a hand or stand mixer, whip your egg whites until foamy. Add in your powdered sugar, a cup at a time, until desired consistency is reached - if you want your icing nice and thick with a high viscosity, you’ll need at least a whole 32 ounce package of powdered sugar and if you used 5 egg whites, you’ll need another cup more, so make sure you have at least two packages of powdered sugar!

Next, mix in your lemon juice and vanilla. Divide your icing up into different bowls. You’ll want 75 percent of your icing to be blue, 5 percent of it pink, and to leave about 20 percent of it white. Add several drops of blue food coloring to the largest amount of icing (plus an optional drop or two of green to make it teal) and a couple drops of red to the smallest amount to make it pink. Only a few cookies will have pink bows.

You’ll want a piping bag with a good tip. I used a Wilton Tip #4 along with a Wilton re-usable piping bag and coupler. To ice the cookies, pipe an outline following the shape of the cookie, then fill it in, or “flood” it. Don’t get too close to the edges - these cookies are not a flat surface and the icing can still run down the sides. Once your blue icing has begun to harden, grab your white royal icing and write in “pipis” on each cookie (or even just some of them). Add a pink bow on only a few of them - the “Ms. Pipis” are meant to be rare! The easiest way to do this is to make two tiny triangles joined together at the tips. Instant bow!

What I like about the end result of my icing attempt is how only the outside hardened at first, leaving the inside soft for the first couple of days, when the cookies are at their freshest. Sure, this meant they didn’t stack as easily, but I’m okay with that. If you’re more experienced with cookie decorating, I’d love to hear from you if you have any tips you want to share. Double creature feature from my Vampire Hunter D themed Six Fanarts Challenge from 2020. The rest of the line up will posted eventually. Looking back, D was an ok attempt & could definitely be better. At the time I was still getting used to Procreate, & using HYDE as a reference when the dude has a face that's hard to reproduce. It's been 2 years since I drew D, I think I should draw him again. With drawing Lina Belan, using Rosanna Pansino as a reference gave her that softness I was looking for when doing her in my style compared to how Lina's drawn in the VHD manga.

Dinner Parties and Cast Iron Skillets

A/N: I wanted to start a prompt notebook series for another fandom but this about ADHD hyperfixations is that...I do not have a choice L O L. Here’s another installment of the SMOSH prompt notebook series. It reminds me of a reverse version of one of my Criminal Minds fics (links in masterlist to all of my fics). You’ll have to read them to find out which one I/m referring to ♥.

Summary: Reader loves to play hostess, but will throw it all to the side if someone she cares about needs her more.

   She had been inspired by the Try Guys “Without A Recipe” series and the many Rosanna Pansino videos she’d watched over the past few months. Cooking and baking were joyous occasions for her, but she hadn’t really been able to cook or bake anything for other people since she moved to L.A. and started working at SMOSH. Back at her old job in her old town, she’d bring in treats to her co-workers monthly. It was driving her nuts that she hadn’t been able to be domestic with others in so long.

   Y/n sat in a chair in her tiny apartment kitchen brainstorming idea. She had invited a few coworkers and friends over for a dinner party. The numbers began to go places she hadn’t planned and her boss swooped in, suggesting they do it at his place. She agreed in an instant. She had her pen to the paper to plan but was interrupted by the text tone of her phone.

   Damien: I’m sorry. My temp is still high and my throat is still a little rough.

   Y/N: It’s okay, Dames! I’m sorry that you feel so under the weather, though.

   Damien: I don’t think I’ve had strep in like...13 years. I hate it lol

   Y/N: Well, get some rest, okay? You’ll be feeling better soon.

   That weekend, Y/n found herself standing outside Damien’s apartment. She knocked on the door with her left hand while holding the basket with her right. She had taken out her phone to make sure the man was even awake and home when the door opened. Face to pallid face, she stood across from her friend.

   “Y/n? It’s almost six o’clock. Shouldn’t you be at Ian’s? Cooking?”

   The woman winced and held the basket up so he could see it. “Care for some company?”

   Damien didn’t say anything as he let her in. His eyes followed her and she led herself to his kitchen area.

   “Ian is having something door dashed. I, however,” Y/n had sat the basket on the counter space and started pulling things out of it, “made little brioche and meatloaf sandwiches. For you, I baked a personal mac and cheese skillet in my cute little mini cast iron. Which, by the way, made the basket a butt-ton heavier than I thought it would.”

   “I don’t...why aren’t you at Ian’s? Y/n, the dinner party was your idea.” The man stood next to her, looking over all of the withdrawn contents from the basket. 

   “Yeah, but you’re sick. How am I supposed to host a good time when someone is sick and missing?” She cocked her head to the side, watching his eyes go from the counter to her own.

   “Right.” Damien huffed out a gentle laugh and reached for the skillet of mac and cheese. “Thank you, Y/n, for checking up on me and making sure I’m fed.”

   Y/n stood up on her tiptoes and pressed a kiss to his forehead, “Of course, Dames. “I want to be the one that makes you feel better. Even if it’s only for a few minutes.”

   “...Should we unpack that?”

   “Oh, GOD no.” She responded as she grabbed some of the food and walked past him to find a place to sit.

They had 20 minutes max. to learn each segment; they had a choreographer helping them learn the dances

Mick was supposed to cross frame during the top-hats-part, but they had already recorded it; the producers weren't comfortable telling Mark "no" yet, so they had Amy do it

The director of photography was Phillip J Roy; he took a pay cut to work on this project

Yancy's sleeve tattoo is the whole map again

Yancy was supposed to be hidden in the ceiling or beside the bed, but under the bed turned out better; he's hidden under the bed the whole scene

The audio-only part was very convenient for filming and fitting for a 1st-person perspective

Yancy's talk at the gate was Mark real-acting & the late shot of the 1st day of filming, which made all of them realize that the project could actually work

Keyblade Cards - Youtuber Set 1

A Keyblade modeled after the big, strong youtuber Markiplier! This Keyblade is designed to have increase reach and damage and access to Second Form! The hilt guard of the Keyblade is designed after the Markiplier Hero's emblem, but with a Pink fade addition. The shaft of the blade is designed after the details that appeared on the Box from Mark's Youtube Red series A Heist With Markiplier, blue gem included. Escape the Night - Season 4 Predictions, I guess

We interrupt your regularly scheduled program to give you some Escape the Night theorizing! This is based on the season 4 trailer and the trailer-snippet at the end of episode 1, season 4.

First off, if there are 3 survivors at the end like there usually are, and there are 7 survivors now, it will take 4 episodes for the last people to die.

So, there are going to be 4 more exhibits. We already have some information about what they could be.

It sounds like the next episode (Episode 5) will be some sort of old, knight-era exhibit. I’ll dub it the “Medieval” exhibit.

I associate it with the scenes from the forest, like the backstory shots where a knight seems to be drawing his sword, and a king is kneeling.

There’s also the scenes where it looks like Gabbie is being captured, and where Tana and Gabbie are hugging each other.

Not much information about the scene where Gabbie is being captured. You can briefly see Colleen’s hat in the shot.

If this is just a capture, it could mean Gabbie’s name is going in the voting pile. If this is a death challenge, it looks like Gabbie and Colleen are voted in, and Gabbie is temporarily delayed.

Tana and Gabbie are hugging each other and saying “I love you.” It sounds like maybe they’re both voted into a challenge.

It isn’t clear which exhibit these next shots are from, but they both have swords, so I’m putting them under the Medieval exhibit for now.

Joey is holding a glowing sword in one shot, and Colleen is stabbing something with a sword in another.

If these are in the same episode, it could be a sign of Joey and Colleen’s growing reconciliation— Joey finds the sword and gives it to Colleen for something. It could be the end of a death challenge where Colleen wins. Who knows.

There’s an exhibit that seems to be centered around Greek mythology, which I’ll call the Greek exhibit. There are monsters that look like Medusa and the Minotaur.

There are shots where Bretman and Nikita are holding lanterns and look like they’re in a maze– or a labyrinth. This would mirror the Greek myth about the Minotaur.

Is this part of a puzzle they solve earlier in the episode, or a death challenge? We still don’t know if Nikita and MatPat will be vulnerable to the death challenges.

Next is Medusa. It doesn’t seem like there’s much about her at first, but it makes sense that she would be in the same episode as the Minotaur.

So take a look at this shot of Alex hiding.

It kind of looks like he’s holding a mirror. This would reference the Greek myth where the hero Perseus was given a reflective shield so he didn’t look directly at Medusa. Knowing this, you can see the shapes of statues around him.

It’s not clear which episode this shot is from, but since we saw Bretman and Nikita together in the labyrinth, I’m going to put it here.

Bret is saying “I’m dying Nikita.” They both look nervous. On the table, there is a pitcher and two cups. It’s probable that either one or both of them drank something. Unclear if it’s deadly or not.

The next exhibit looks like it’s gonna be pirates. The main two shots show a pirate hat on a table, windows, and a wooden background.

If you look at the second shot of the Youtubers, you can clearly see Joey, Alex, Bretman, and Ro. But if you look closely, you can see the feathers of Colleen’s hat.

If it had just been the aforementioned Youtubers, I would have guessed this was part of a challenge where they split up into groups. But seeing Colleen’s hat makes me think that’s the entire group, which means Tana and Gabbie might die.

It already looks like either Tana or Gabbie will die in the Medieval episode, episode 5. If the other dies in episode 6, that would make the pirate exhibit episode 7.

The 4th exhibit is unclear. The only hints we have involve “backstory” shots, and no Youtubers. So far we’ve only seen this guy:

I’m not sure what exhibit he would be part of- the only thing I can think of that they might be referencing is the genie from Aladdin, but I really have no idea about this episode.

Concluding predictions:

Gabbie and Tana are going to die in Episodes 5 and 6. Episode 5 will be the “Medieval” exhibit episode, as shown by the shot of the knight on the horse drawing a sword at the end of Episode 4. Episode 7 will be a pirates exhibit. Episodes 6 and 8 will involve a Greek mythology exhibit and one we don’t know much about. It might make sense that the episode we have the least info about would be last.

My silly dog joke I just made today that I just admitted to myself as being an Undertale reference reminds me of the times when I actually made the pie from the game: Butterscotch Cinnamon Pie. I was really curious in this pie and I wanted to see how it truly tasted like. When I googled it, I found plenty of recipes on it. Looks like a lot of people were curious on what it tasted like and attempted to make a real-life replica of the fictional pie. That caused to consider making it by following Rosanna Pansino’s recipe on it. Despite of a bit of missteps, which is to be expected when you’re trying to make something new, I managed to create it for Thanksgiving and I loved it. My family members, like my mom tried it and she loved it...up until it made her lactose intolerance trigger which I felt guilty about but eventually got over knowing that she would recover from it. I was proud that I made it and that others loved it.

But ever since the second time on a Thanksgiving I made butterscotch cinnamon pie, nobody really wanted it anymore. My brother told me that he doesn’t even like pies and nobody was that willing to cook it with me aside from myself, trying to tell me to make another pie despite the fact that it’s been a long time since I made my first one and they’re acting like I’ve been making it every month, so they had no reason to complain about me making it again, especially if I was willing to make it a traditional thing of mine. Nobody was that determined into getting it done through and through with my mom acting like this one little misstep was the death of it or how she would embarrass me in front of my nieces when it came to making a misstep, and how in the end, I was really the only one left eating it and loving it. But I suppose that this was also the case for the first time I made the pie. That I was mainly the one finishing it, aside from a few experiments on it to give it more layers with my dad. That was how it just ended for both times and it’s somber and lonesome to think about to the point that I brought myself to tears just thinking about it.

The fact that I’m the one who was willing to make the pie from start to finish and eat it when nobody else would care really shows how alone I really am at times with my own interests. It’s pretty depressing for me, especially when you consider that in Undertale, where the pie originates from, the pie was never something that was made only to be eaten by the only person who made the pie to begin with. It was a pie that was made for the whole family to love and appreciate whenever it was made to the point were it was a family tradition for The Dreemurrs. And even when the chef behind the pie was alone, she still persisted on making it as a surprise for the fallen children, as demonstrated with Frisk. I ended up having that Toriel feeling were I wanted to make the pie not just for myself to enjoy, but for others to enjoy just as much. When you’re making something like a pie for example, it doesn’t matter how times you’ve made it or how long since you’ve made it, just as long as it’s made out of love and consideration. But then again, trying something different in between those times is also a given.

I love the pie the first and second time I made and still do. Undertale was also right about it going great with tea, which I remembered to have it with in reference to Asgore’s love for golden flower tea. I do hope that in the future, I will be able to make this, no matter if anyone tells me otherwise because it’s something I love and I wouldn’t hesitate to make into a tradition if I truly wanted to. But really, I just hope that there comes a day that I could share it with someone who could be interested in it. Especially a friend. But it pains me to think that my severe social anxiety will get in the way, so it could rather be made as a surprise for them at the start.
