“Don’t you think it’s weird?” (Y/N) muttered as she examined her features in the mirror. “It’s been a couple of years, and my face has not changed at all. Not even a gray hair on my head. It doesn’t make any sense.”
Bea chuckled as she walked over to the young witch. Her hands rested on her shoulders as she brushed away the strands of hair from her skin and left a soft kiss on it. “Maybe it’s genetics, she mused. “Just be grateful you don’t have to deal with smile lines and crow’s feet at twenty-three. Now, that’s a travesty.”
“How could your happiness ever be a bad thing?” (Y/N) smiled. “You’re as beautiful as ever, Bea.”
“Oh, you only say that,” the girl chuckled. “I would gladly give you the three grays I found in my hair.”
“My little salt and pepper beauty,” the other witch teased. “I know you’ll look marvelous with an all-white mane.”
“Oh, goddess, I just hope it’s at least twenty years down the line,” Bea whined. “Not anywhere near my twenties or thirties.”
“Well, maybe you could give some to me,” she laughed. “I’m in serious need of some aging here.”
“I wish those were my problems,” Bea sighed. “Anyways, as much as I would love to stay here and chat about how your skin and your hair are perfect, I do need to go to school if I ever plan to finish college. I think five years is enough time to have finished already.”
“Everyone has their own pace, Bea.”
“Yeah, says the girl who finished her degree in three and a half years and is already finishing her master’s.”
“Well, not everyone can be me.”
“Clearly,” she playfully scoffed. “Beautiful and unbelievably intelligent. Save some for the rest of us.”
“I’d give it all to you if I could,” (Y/N) smiled. “But for now, you’re going to have to apply yourself in school and embrace your changing body. I know I will.”
With a hug and a kiss on Bea’s lips, the two young women left the small house and walked onto the village center to head to the coven’s entry point. They chatted amongst themselves, enjoying the cold air of October, when Margaret, a coven elder, stopped them in their tracks.
“Good morning, girls,” the woman said. “Are you off to school?”
“Beatrice is,” (Y/N) answered. “I’m simply escorting her.”
“Well then, why don’t we leave that to Russell?” Margaret asked but both girls knew it was an instruction. “I fear I must steal you away, (Y/N). It’s a rather urgent matter.”
“Is everything okay?”
“Oh, nothing you have to worry about, Beatrice,” she smiled. “But I do need to speak with her.”
“Russell will get you to school and back safe,” (Y/N) assured, smiling at the awaiting man. “I’ll be here when you get back.”
“Alright,” Bea sighed. “I’ll see you then.”
(Y/N) watched as Bea and Russell disappeared through the trees, one second there and the next gone. As much as she wanted to take off running after them, the last thing she would ever do was disobey an elder. If their instruction did not go against anything she believed, there was no chance she would ignore them.
“Come on now, (Y/N),” Margaret called her attention. “Off to my cabin.”
The girl followed the woman to her home, running a million scenarios in her head. She knew there were no rules she had broken, and she doubted it had anything to do with her human and witch studies. (Y/N) had always been on top of it all. She had even been assigned the role of mentor only two years before. Clearly, she had been doing something right.
“Is something the matter, Margaret?” the girl asked as they finally reached the witch’s house, nerves building far too high for her.
“I was wondering the same thing, (Y/N),” the woman smiled brightly. “I just couldn’t help but notice that in the last–give or take–six years of your life, your face has remained as young as it was then. Not a single sign of aging.”
“Oh, that,” (Y/N) chuckled awkwardly as she looked down. She had been working tirelessly to find answers by herself, but no one seemed to be able to give her what she needed. Not even her magical books had given her what she had been looking for. “I wouldn’t be able to tell you anything about that just yet. But I promise I have been looking everywhere for answers. ”
“Why don’t you have a seat, little one?” Margaret invited her to sit on the rocking chairs that lived on her wooden porch, grabbing a worn-out book from a shelf by the entrance of her home. “I think it is safe to assume your search for answers has been rendered fruitless. There’s no surprise there. Not much has been recorded about your particular situation.”
“My situation? I can’t say I’m following what you’re saying, ma’am. What situation could I be in? ”
“Do you remember the teachings about soul pairings, my child?” (Y/N) nodded, unsure of where the conversation was leading. “I am sure you also remember the teachings of other supernatural beings that share our spaces. This journal right here belonged to my great-great-grandmother...”
“Lady Esther?” the young witch interrupted. “Those are the personal writings of our first High Priestess?”
The woman smiled at (Y/N)’s eagerness, but it pained her to know that excitement would soon die down. “Grandmother Esther made sure to record each and every situational encounter she had, preserving a possible solution to the most curious of cases. The books have been passed down from generation to generation to aid in scenarios such as yours, where not even supernatural logic makes too much sense,” she laughed. “As soon as I saw the signs, I remembered a story she had written in her personal journal–this book has been open only to our family’s eyes. When she was younger, she went through the same thing you are right now.”
“Signs? What signs have there been?”
“Well, the inability to age is one of them,” Margaret said. “There’s also the night of your alleged magical resurgence. And before you ask, yes, Beatrice spoke to me about it because she was worried that it could be something bad. There’s also your new ability to heal quicker than others. For example, the cut that you had two months ago that seemed to heal overnight.”
“I just thought after that night, my magic was different,” (Y/N) mumbled. “So, you’re saying this has happened before? To High Priestess Esther?”
“That is correct, my dear. And she was just as confused as you are,” she rocked. Margaret flipped through the pages until she landed on the specific date she was looking for, handing the open book to the expectant girl. “It was a hard time to be a witch back then–not that it’s any easier now–but somehow she had managed to skate by unnoticed. One day, she noticed her face had stopped aging, and so had her mother. Her face seemed to be frozen in time, but she didn’t know why. That was until she met the immortal Samuel.”
“A vampire?”  Margaret nodded in confirmation. “But I’m not sure I understand. How did meeting Samuel affect her physical status?”
“You’re rushing the story, my child,” Margaret chuckled. The girl was itching for answers, but patience was something the elder always taught. “There’s a reason I mentioned soul pairings earlier. When we are born and reborn, fragments of our soul enter the lives of others, tethering them to ours. Throughout your life, you might meet some of your soulmates, yet no connection will be as strong as the bound soul. Not many find them in their lifetime. The lucky few that do experience a love like no other. That’s what Samuel was to Esther—the love of a lifetime. Are you following?”
“I believe so. They had a supernatural connection that tied their lives together. Mind, body, and soul.”
“You’ve always been a smart one, (Y/N),” the woman chuckled joyfully before she continued. “As the years went on, Esther started to tie loose ends together. The reason she was never changing was because he was never changing. Bound souls are connected, body and soul. When Samuel had been turned into a vampire and, in turn, immortal, so did she. Esther wrote about how, after the first encounter, her magic was stronger, and her connection to the elements felt surreal. But the love she felt when she was with him was something unparalleled to anything she had experienced in this lifetime.”
“But if she’s immortal, how come we’ve never met her? How are you here? Vampires can’t procreate.”
“In those times, vampires were still heavily hunted. Samuel had gone into town one day and, unfortunately, never made it back home. They shared thirty beautiful years building a life together, isolated from society. Living in the shadows, doing their best to survive. Unfortunately, once Samuel’s life ended, so did Esther’s immortality. Her life cycle had regained its normalcy,” Margaret sighed. “She had been devastated for a long time. She describes how she felt her body was hollowed out and her magic began to falter. “Fortunately, she found love again in the man who was my great-great-grandfather, Abraham. They made a family together, creating our coven,” she smiled. “Esther never forgot Samuel, carrying his memory close to her heart every day that passed until her death after approximately 140 years of life. Her story now is not unlike yours. Though supernatural beings have now learned and adapted to the ever-changing society.”
“But this means that as time goes by, everyone I love will pass, and I will continue on being as I am today,” (Y/N) stated, tears burning the corners of her eyes. “How do I cope with losing all the people closest to me whilst I have no foreseeable ending to this life?”
“Death is something we all must endure, one day or another. Even immortal beings face mortality in many ways. How to handle the inevitability of death is a very personal thing. In time, you’ll learn the best way to accept it.”
“But that means…”
“Yes, (Y/N). You’ll one day go through the pain of seeing Beatrice pass,” the woman confirmed. “I know it will be hard, my child. But it is a moment you must endure. You have her entire lifetime to enjoy by her side. Don’t let the inevitability of her passing stop you from living.”
The young witch remained silent as warm tears burned their way down her skin. She had grown accustomed to death from a young age. That wasn’t the problem. (Y/N) had lost her mother when she had been all but fifteen years of age, and her father had passed long before she could even remember his voice. It wasn’t death that scared her. It was living after Beatrice. What pained the girl beyond repair was that not only could she not give Bea the life she dreamed of, she couldn’t even give her the life they had planned.
(Y/N) wouldn’t be able to grow old beside her, taunting each other about who had more white hair. She would never get to the point where they would both need canes to walk or salves and ointments for their aching joints. No. She would only be able to watch it happen to Bea while she remained the very image she saw staring back at her in the mirror. There would be no aging pains for her, no shriveling skin or weakening bones. All there would be was her and the passage of time.
As the hours passed, it dawned on the young woman what she had to do. As much as it broke her heart, there was nothing else that would make sense for her future. If she had no chance at her happy ever after, she’d make sure that at least Beatrice would.
She couldn’t have known how much time had passed, but when the sound of Bea’s laughter by the door rang through the house, the sun had already set. (Y/N) peeked her head out the bedroom door to find the girl saying her goodbyes to the lovestruck Russell, a bouquet of roses hanging from her right hand.
The young witch saw possibility there. She saw right before her eyes everything she could never give her. She saw the life they had always dreamed of, the life only one of them would be able to live.
“Sorry I’m late, darling,” Bea said as she hung her coat on the rack. “Russell invited me out to the movies. I forgot to call.”
“It’s okay,” (Y/N) responded, trying her best to conceal the sadness that had sunk its claws into her throat.
But she couldn’t. At the tone of her voice, the raven-haired girl turned around and crossed the room in an instant. “What’s the matter?” she asked as she led them toward their couch, sitting beside (Y/N), her hands gripping hers comfortingly. “What did Margaret say?”
“I-I, uh,” (Y/N) stammered, unable to get the words out.
And before she could say anything else, Bea noticed the tears that brimmed (Y/N)’s eyes. Her eyes were already red and puffy, a testament to the pain she was already feeling. “What’s wrong, Rubs?” she questioned worriedly. “Is it bad?”
“I don’t… I don’t know if it is or not,” she sighed. “But it’s gonna change everything, Bea. It’s already changed me.”
“Sweetheart, you’re scaring me,” Bea said. “What’s going on, (Y/N)? What changed since this morning?”
(Y/N) could feel her breaths staggering, the nerves coursing through her veins making her tremble under the weight of the inevitable. This was it—the moment when she would lose it all. With a heavy heart, the witch set off to explain all that Margaret had told her. She told her about Samuel and Esther, about bound souls, and vampires and witches. Finally, she told her what it all meant to her. The very reason both their lives would never be the same. “She said the reason I haven’t shown any sign of aging and I had that odd attack that night was because my soul is most likely tethered to a vampire,” she explained, fighting the new tears that threatened to spill across her cheeks. “I’m never gonna age, Bea. Everyone around me will grow and die, and I will stay just as you see me right now before you. I don’t know how I could ever give you the life you’ve always wanted.”
Bea rose from her seat as though it had burned her. Her thoughts spiraled and sparked inside her head before she could process anything that (Y/N) was saying. None of it made sense to her. She was a witch and knew of the existence of many other supernatural beings. But that? That she couldn’t get her mind around.
The girl pressed her palms to her eyes, stopping the tears before they stained her face, but not before they pooled around her eyes and mixed with the black of her makeup. She was distraught, unwinding at the seams, unable to process her emotions properly. Bea couldn’t grasp that those would be their last moments together as they were.
“What does this mean for us, (Y/N)?” the girl asked. “What are you gonna do?”
“I wish I could tell you I had it all figured out, Bea, but I don’t,” she cried. “I don’t want to lose you, that’s for sure. I just don’t know what I can offer you.”
“What about school and all that? You just got accepted to Yale. How are you gonna be a lawyer like this?”
“I don’t know, Bea!” (Y/N) exclaimed. “I don’t know what I’m going to do about any of that just yet. I just found out that I’m immortal today. There’s nothing laid out just yet.”
The younger witch knew what (Y/N) was saying without words, and she also knew she wouldn’t say the words even if they were the only ones that had to be said. Bea wanted to believe there was a way to fight the inevitable—find a sliver of hope in the midst of their dark reality.
“You deserve everything you’ve ever wanted, Bea,” the older witch broke the silence softly. She took tentative steps towards the other, softly wrapping her arms around the unconsolable woman. Bea leaned into her touch, even though her body screamed to get away until it was all resolved. “You deserve a wedding, you deserve kids, you deserve the big house with the even bigger garden, you deserve someone to grow old with. And as much as I wish I could give you that and the entire universe, I can’t. I can only give myself, darling, and I promise I’ll try my hardest to make you the happiest you can be with whatever time we have.”
“You can’t promise that, (Y/N),” Bea whimpered. “As much as we want to, neither of us can promise that.”
“Why not?” she cried. “I love you more than anything in this universe. That’s enough for me.”
“It’s only gonna be enough for now,” the younger girl sighed defeatedly. “We can’t exist on love alone, sweetheart. I wish it were that easy.”
“What are you saying, Bea?”
“I think it’s best that you move to Connecticut, set yourself up over there while you’re going to school,” she said, swallowing the sadness that threatened to wreck her. She had to be strong for (Y/N). She had to be strong for them both. “After, you’re gonna have to move from place to place. Never stay too long in one city or state. Never go back there until anyone that could remember you is alive.”
“I could just stay here,” (Y/N) offered, knowing it wasn’t going to be an option. “I don’t have to ever leave the village. We could have a life here.:
“You know that’s not possible, sweetheart,” Bea sighed. “Maybe back in the days of Esther, but I know you’ll grow angsty. You have dreams, (Y/N). You have goals you want to accomplish. You can’t stay here and wait until I die for you to start living. I couldn’t live with myself if you did.”
“What about what I want?” she said in a voice so broken that it almost shattered Bea’s resolution. It made her wonder if there truly was a way for them to work out. But she knew. “What if all I want is you, Bea?”
“You’ll do great things, beautiful,” she said as she turned in (Y/N)’s arms and ran her fingers through her hair. “I know everything you do will be as amazing as you are. You will go on and do all these things and see the world, and I’ll always be here, cheering you on from the sidelines.”
“What am I supposed to do without you, Bea? We were supposed to be forever.”
“And you’ll have forever, (Y/N),” she smiled sadly. “I won’t. And I can’t steal away a part of your life because of it. Don’t ask me to do that.”
(Y/N) gazed into Bea’s eyes as tears blurred her vision, trying her best to plead with just one look. “You wouldn’t be stealing any part of my life, Bea,” she trembled. “You’ve shown me a life I could have. A life with you would be a life fulfilled. Why can’t that be enough?”
“Maybe in another life, it could be,” Bea whimpered. She placed her hands tenderly on the girl’s cheeks, softly wiping away the tears that didn’t seem to stop. “But it wasn’t meant to be in this one, my sweetheart. We had the years we did, and they will always be the best of my life. And what gives me a respite is that you will have so many great years after me because I just know your life will be glorious and that I’ll continue to love you every day until I take my last breath.  And I know you’ll be happy—even after me, you’ll be happy.”
(Y/N) couldn’t find words as they knotted in her throat. Her eyes felt like an open faucet as tears fell faster than she could hold them back. All she could do was wrap her arms around Bea and hold her as tight as she could. Because for that moment, she was still there, they were still possible. For that moment, she could pretend they were forever.
And that’s what she did every day and every night for the coming three months. (Y/N) would hold Bea as though she’d turn to dust the second she let go. There was not a moment she didn’t spend with the younger witch. She even pretended to be excited about the cross-state move, showing the girl apartment listings and bringing her to buy whatever she’d need for it. Maybe if she acted like she was all for the move, there would come a day when she would be.
There was one thing she was sure of, at the end of those three months, she’d be losing the greatest love of her life. And before she could truly prepare herself, the day had come.
“Time flew too fast, didn’t it?” Bea whispered from the bed, watching through hazy eyes as the witch walked from side to side, gathering all she needed for the long trip to Connecticut. “Can’t believe the day is finally here.”
“Yeah,” (Y/N) sighed quietly, whispering her next words. “Kind of wished today never came.”
“Do you have everything you need? Remember, you’re supposed to meet up with Lance over there. He is part of our sister coven over there and knows everything about your situation.”
“Yes, Beatrice. I know what I have to do,” she spat unintentionally. “You’ve had this planned out for three months already. Almost feels like you can’t wait for me to go.”
“You know that’s not true,” Bea bit back quickly. “The last thing I want is to lose you, (Y/N). But we both know that it simply wouldn’t work. Not in this lifetime.”
“It could have worked,” (Y/N) cried. She didn’t care that she’d have to redo her makeup or that she’d have puffy red eyes during her train ride; she simply allowed the tears that had never seemed to stop to fall free. “If you would have given us a chance, it would have worked.”
“For what, sweetheart?” the girl questioned softly, unable to meet the same bark that (Y/N) had. She was sad, she was weak, she was losing her everything. “You grow restless when we stay merely a day in this house. What makes you think you’d last sixty years?”
“I could do it for you, Bea.” (Y/N) walked to their bed and sat by Bea, taking one of her hands in hers. “I would give my entire life to be with you.”
“That’s a price I’m not willing to let you pay,” she whispered softly, using her free hand to caress (Y/N)’s wettened cheek. “You need to let me go, (Y/N). You need to let me let you go. It’s the only way either of us will be able to make the choices we need to make for our futures.”
“I can’t.”
“Yes, you can,” Bea smiled tenderly. “You could tell the sun to stop shining, and it would. You can do anything, (Y/N) Carmine.”
“But I don’t want to.”
“You have to,” she continued. “Go. See the world. Get your degrees. Open the law firm you’ve always dreamed of. Help supernatural folks like you’ve wanted. I’ll be here, always. Getting old and loving you. But don’t stay stuck. If you can’t do it for yourself, then do it for me.”
Without another word, (Y/N) kissed Bea’s lips and gathered all she would need for the trip. The air inside the house was thick with pain and sadness, but neither girl made another mention of it. They simply let things be until it was time for her to go.
Russell had come to help with her bags, putting them in one of the few cars the village owned. He knew all that had been happening under the girls’ roof, but he never judged, never put in his two cents, and never, ever, turned them away. Maybe because he was smitten with Bea or because he respected his friendship with (Y/N), but he’d never looked at them any differently than he did everyone else.
“We’re just about ready to go,” he announced from the doorway. “Car is packed and running.”
“Thank you, Russell,” (Y/N) smiled softly. “‘I’ll be out in a moment.”
With a tip of his hat, he turned to leave the girls to say their goodbyes. It was the last moment they’d ever look as young as each other. Beauty stuck in time, and love perfectly conserved in the image of a memory. That’s how (Y/N) wanted to remember them: young, happy, and full of love.
“I’ll come back every year,” she whispered to Bea as she cradled her cheeks. “Every single year, no matter what.”
“And I’ll be waiting,” Bea smiled, tears falling down her cheeks. “I’ll always be waiting by Bound Soul’s Bank. Every year, to the day, I’ll be there. Even when I’m old and frail and can barely walk, I’ll be there.”
“You are my sun,” (Y/N) cried shakily.
“My moon,” Bea responded in tandem.
“And all of my stars,” they said in teary unison before sharing a last passionate kiss and a tight hug.
The last image (Y/N) had of Bea was as she ran through the village behind the running car, yelling words of love and encouragement until there was no trail left to follow and the trees engulfed her figure.
And with a shattered heart, and the promise of a never-ending future, (Y/N) did the hardest thing she could imagine. (Y/N) (Y/L/N) started to live.

Tumblr media
I never thought much about the future until suddenly the friends I adored most started relationships and left me in the past as if our friendship never even mattered, like their boyfriend was the most important thing
My sister and I use to be close as kids but when she moved away with our mom and rarely visited me and dad, who she regularly called Charlie, we grew apart leaving me feeling like I lost all my friends and my sister, after a while I grew depressed and I never wanted to leave the house, dad grew concerned and after many absent calls from school he allowed me to start home schooling myself and my grades have never been better
Most nights it was just me and Charlie some days I’d get the courage to go down to the reserve hang out on the beach with Leah, Seth and Jake, sometimes I’d go for hikes in the forest behind the house just to clear my head, but other than that I’d stay in my room listening to music, reading the books dad would bring home for me, and doing school work
That’s how life was for so many years, it was routine and it never bothered me and dad loved having me around, after Bella and mom left he was so broken and with my help, even as a little girl, I pulled him out of that deep dark hole and he became that Charlie that joked around and made me smile
But then dad got the call that Bella was moving back for the rest of highschool since mom would be traveling with Phil for baseball, hopeful that I could reconnect with my sister again
Dad and I picked out a new bed spread for her hoping she’d love it, and he even let me pick out a new book as a thank you for helping him out with getting everything ready for her arrival, after a few days it was time for dad to go pick Bella up from the airport in port angeles, I was a nervous wreck which was crazy I mean she’s my sister why should I be nervous
Finally the familiar sheriff cruiser pulled up in the drive way, I walked out the door with an umbrella quickly shuffling over to Bella to cover her from the rain knowing how she favoured the warm dry weather, complete opposite of me
“Welcome home Bella!” I smiled as we walked back inside as dad got her bags following closely behind
She shook off her coat and placed her little cactus down on the counter
“You’ve grown so much you’re a year younger but you’re already taller than me” she said as she hugged me
“Come on bells we’ll show you your room!” Dad said as he walked up the stairs with her bags
Tumblr media
She settled in for the rest of the day until it was supper time, I set out the table and dished up our meal, dads game playing in the background as we ate
“So are you excited for school on Monday?” I asked
“Not really but atleast I’ll have you there”
“What? No im homeschooled remember”
“Well…..” dad drawled out
“Dad what did you do?” My heart was racing now at the implication
“I thought since Bella’s back now it would be good for you to get out there again, you need some experiences honey”
“But you know I have no one there, no one wants to be friends with me we’ve been over this”
“You might make new friends honey, give give it a chance for your old man” I sighed slumping back in my chair trying to wrap my head around having to socialize again
“Atleast you’ll be with me, dad said since your grades are so good you got bumped up a grade and can have some certain classes together, depending on our courses” that settled my anxiety a little
Bella and dad cleaned up from dinner as I sat out on the porch, in desperate need for fresh air to do its magic, only 2 more days and I’ll be back in a school again, who knows maybe some new kids have arrived and aren’t too set in their groups yet
Tumblr media
Monday came quickly and I was a ball of nerves, I glanced in the mirror as made sure my hair was just the way I wanted, wearing a casual outfit, simple flared black leggings, a dark rich blue longsleeve with my old worn out dark brown carhartt jacket, quickly spraying my vanilla perfume
I walked down stairs to meet Bella in the kitchen, she grabbed an apple as she picked up her backpack from the table
“Are you ready to go?” She asked
“Almost can I make a tea quickly?” She nodded and I quickly wiped together a chai tea latte, grabbing my lunch from the fridge and meeting her in the truck dad had gotten for us but since I didn’t have my license, seeing as I never needed one before now, she would be driving us
The drive to school was calming, hearing the steady rain fall against the windshield, pulling into the parking lot everyone stared until we got out, I kept my eyes down as Bella led me to the schools main office
“Okay here’s your schedule, we have math together at the end of the day, the bells about to ring so I gotta head to world history are you good to find your way to chemistry?”
“Oh ummm yeah I’ll be fine”
“Okay see you at lunch” she smiled gently before she left down the hall
Looking at my schedule I memorized the room number hoping it wouldn’t be too hard to find, turning the corner I rammed into what felt like a brick wall, dropping my books I look infront of me to see the most beautiful guy I’ve ever seen, his eyes a golden amber, hair as dark as night and his skin as pale as snow
“Sorry about that, I haven’t seen you around before” he said soothingly as he handed me the books that had momentarily scattered the floor, not even realizing he had picked them up, too busy oogling him I suppose
“Oh yeah I’m just re-enrolling here again, just trying to find my class” he looked down at my schedule a striking smile adorning his face
“Come this way gorgeous, got the same class” walking along the mostly bare hallways I noticed his gentle glide, I’ve never seen such a…..well such a perfect human, obviously I was way out of my league if I could think he’d ever be interested in me, I mean I’m plain and simple what would he ever see in me, best I stay in my lane, but dad did want me to make friends so that couldn’t hurt….right?
We got to the classroom and the teacher assigned us to sit together, the class went by pretty boring, every now and then I’d take glances at Emmett and I swear he did the same but he was probably just looking at someone else, moments like this made me wish I was a beautiful as my sister, she never had a problem with guys wanting her, they basically drooled over her, even if she never acted on any offers she was still wanted
It felt like I was a living ghost most days, no one noticed me anywhere I’d go, a big reason I wanted to be homeschooled, now I’m thrown back into this miserable place, I’ll bet by lunch time Bella with have a table full of new friends while I sit alone, not even a second glance from anyone
Tumblr media
Lunch time rolled around and as I entered the cafeteria I searched for Bella and just as I guessed she was surrounded with bright smiles, excited to get to know her, she glanced my way and I waved hoping she’d wave me over to sit but she just gave a half assed smile and got back to talking with her new friends, I felt my heart rip at that, thinking things would be different this time with her here but I guess I was wrong
I found an empty table near the windows and made myself comfortable for another lonely lunch, I pulled out my bag from my backpack but my appetite was lost and I had no desire to eat so I just pushed my lunch to the side and looked out the window just wanting to go home
Tumblr media
{Emmett’s POV}
I couldn’t get her out of my head, she’s the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen and her blood sings to me, when she bumped into me in the hallway I felt my whole world shift, she didn’t talk much but just being near her felt right
Lunch came, my least favourite part of the day, having to pretend for an hour, I glanced around the cafeteria hoping to catch a glimpse of my mate again, my eyes landed on her sat alone looking glum a few tables down, the others followed my gaze and smiled knowingly
“Who’s she?” Rosalie asked
“I think she’s my mate”
“Her thoughts are overwhelming loud” Edward stated
“What do you mean?” I asked nervously
“She’s not the happiest girl, I can hear how depressed she is, how unwanted she feels”
“I can feel how broken her heart is” Jasper added
This has to be the worst feeling knowing the one I’m suppose to love unconditionally and she is quite perfect in my eyes, has been broken and feels unloved
I got up from the table and made my way to her sliding in the seat across from her, her eyes were so glazed over with sadness she didn’t even realize I sat down
Tumblr media
{Normal pov}
“So how’s your first day?” I jumped snapping out of my thoughts noticing Emmett is sat across from me
“Oh sorry I didn’t see you, ummm today has been fine I guess, thanks again for helping me earlier”
“It’s not problem, umm I was wondering maybe if you’re not too busy this weekend if you’d wanna hang out?” My heart raced at this
“Really? You wanna hang out with me?”
“Yeah of course, who would wanna spend time with the most beautiful girl in the school” his smile warmed my heart but quickly faded at a realization
“Is this a prank, because if it is it’s cruel” I said as my bottom lip wobbled
“No what? I would never do something like that I really wanna get to know you, so how about after school on Friday I’ll meet you in the parking lot and we can go do something?”
“Okay……sure id really like that” his face beamed with excitement
“Perfect it’s a date then gorgeous”
This felt surreal there’s no way there wasn’t a catch here, how could someone wanna spend their free time with me, but like Charlie said it doesn’t hurt to try, I just hope this doesn’t break my heart more

Could we see Emmett with a size kink??? I feel like he would end up splitting them in two. I also really feel like he would get off on being bigger than his partner!!!
𝕰𝖒𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖙 𝕮𝖚𝖑𝖑𝖊𝖓
OF COURSE WE CAN
Yes, Emmett loves the size difference between the two of you. Innocent things like reaching over your head to grab something, opening tricky jars for you and picking you up with ease. And yes, he'd let you put a bow on his arm and then flex for you
However not all of it is oh so innocent.
Very few people can make a nice walk through the woods with your partner the best sex of your life, but Emmett is one of them.
The tree he had you up against has been far more than splintered, and now lies destroyed on the floor.
He had given up on hoping you would be supported by anything from the force of his thrusts, and now he just lifts you effortlessly with his hands on your thighs. One big hand of his covering so much of underneath you
Tucked all nicely into his chest, biting the fabric of his shirt is the only way to even somewhat muffle the moans you're letting out. Not that it's much use, the way he's stretching you out so deliciously feels too good to for coherent thoughts, let alone think to muffle yourself properly.
Realistically, the only thing moving is his arms as they slam you up and down on his cock and simultaneously show of the taut muscles on his upper arms, feet dangling over his broad shoulders.
Not that this is the only time he uses the size of his arms to his advantage, no. Once he had you stood in front of a mirror so you could see how large he was in comparison. Hands so big cupping your boobs that bras would be rendered useless, fingers so thick in you that thoughts are rendered useless.
And yes, he would let you put a bow on it.

Return Home Visit
Paul Lahote x Cullen!Reader
Summary: Rosalie and Emmets daughter visits during college break.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I said get out of my house dog!” Rosalie spits venomously to Paul who stands awkwardly in the door way. “I don’t care if she’s your imprint, she’s not going to be with you! Over my dead body!”
“You can’t keep her from me forever.” Paul retorts edging in closer. “She deserve to know she’s my imprint, we’ll be together eventually whether you like it or not.” Rosalie pulls her fist back which Emmet lunges and grabs her arm before any damage is inflicted.
“Don’t, she’s almost here.” Emmet whispers. Everyone in the Cullen household listens to the echoing foot steps walking up the drive way.
“Leave before-“ Your voice cuts off Rosalie’s threat.
“Oh my god Paul?! Is that you? What are you doing here?” You squeaked excitedly, placing your bags down only to swing your arms around Paul’s neck pulling him into a tight hug. Leaning away, Paul looks down to your face, looking into your beaming eyes. God his heart yearns for your affection. He just wanted to look into your eyes forever, and hold you just like you are forever. “There’s something I’ve been meaning to talk to you about.” But before Paul could utter another word, Rosalie interrupts.
“Uh - hello? Aren’t you going to greet your own mother first?” Rosalie snaps making you quickly withdrawal from Paul’s embrace, the warmth of embarrassment creeps along your cheeks.
You quickly pull your mother into a tight hug. “I missed you Ma.” Your sweet words of proclamation melt Rosalie’s soul into a puddle. Your presence always managed to soothe her nerves.
“My turn babygirl, come give your old man a hug.” Your hulking father doesn’t give you a chance to pull away. He just wraps his large arms around you and Rosalie. “Both my girls are here with me. The world feels right again.” His corny words only make you giggle.
“Come now, we have your favourite take away ready on speed dial.” Rosalie hoaxes making you giddy with excitement.
“Thank ma, I’m starving! What do you feel like Paul? They have an awesome burger that has your name all over it.” Paul sheepishly enters the house hesitant under Rosalie’s murderous gaze.
“Sweetness… I thought it would just be a family evening…” You look to your dad to sooth the vein popping out of your mothers forehead, but your father only folds to your mother. Typical.
“She’s right sweetheart, we just want to spend the night with our daughter, we haven’t seen you in so long. I’m sure you understand Paul.” He says amicably, but the strong push of Emmets hands are anything but as Paul goes tumbling out the door and thudding shut on your long time crush which only serves to anger you further with the rush of humiliation.
“What is up with you guys?! What’s your problem with Paul anyway?” Your cheeks begin flaring in humiliation at your parents not so subtle dislike. “Ever since I met Paul you’ve acted so hostile and unwelcoming towards him. He’s never even done anything to deserve your wrath.”
“He’s a turns into a dog! They’re slave to their emotions, what happens if he gets upset with you one day and you come out more disfigured than Emily?” The horror of your parents words and actions light your head on fire.
“Uncle Jasper almost wrote the end date on my gravestone once, or have you forgotten?” You spit angerily, Rosalie doesn’t flinch.
“I have never forgotten, it’s why we are so cautious.”
“Your caution is suffocating me! I cannot live a long a fulfilling life if you guys are protecting me at every moment. Besides it’s not life Paul and I are serious or anything.” Now Emmet twitches at your statement.
“What does that mean?” Your Pa’s jaw clenches at your insinuation.
“It doesn’t mean anything Pops, it just means you and Ma are so over protective that we haven’t gotten more serious.” Your voice waivers.
Too late the words have settled outside of your mouth and Emmet looks ready to commit murder.
“That filthy beast! I’ll kill him!” Emmet announces, trudging to the door with great anger and throwing open the glass door.
It took all members of the Cullen family to hold Emmet back from a rampage. The boys had no choice but to call in Bella for her new born strength to hold back the over protective papa bear.
But Rosalie stared at her daughter, ignoring her husband and his antics whilst Y/n yelled to calm down . It only felt like yesterday when Emmet and her picked up their new born adoptive daughter, enamoured with her tiny hands and squishy rounded cheeks. Now a grown woman yelling at her dad to back off her unlabelled lover.
Rosalie yearned to turn back time to relive the glory days of having a baby, but just like human life, time is flashy by too quickly and she just wasn’t ready to let her baby go.
But she had to, this was her baby’s rite of passage.
Y/n, is Rosalie’s and Emmets grown-up daughter, and it’s time Rosalie finally accepts it.

(Y/N) had always been well-acquainted with the delicate balance of her health. Diabetes wasn't just a condition for her; it was a family legacy. With half her family members wrestling with the same ailment, it was almost a rite of passage.
The sun had barely risen over Forks as she hurriedly got ready for her first day at Forks High School. This new beginning was daunting enough, but it became even more challenging with the knowledge that her diabetes would be a constant companion throughout the day.
As she zipped up her school bag, she made sure to slot in her lifeline - a package of juices. These juices were her safety net, ensuring her blood sugar levels stayed within a safe range. She had diligently followed this routine every day, her tiny insurance policy against hypoglycemia.
With her backpack securely on her shoulders, (Y/N) headed downstairs to the kitchen. Her mom greeted her with a warm smile, understanding the importance of this daily ritual. "Don't forget your juices, dear," she reminded.
(Y/N) grabbed the chilled package from the fridge and slipped it into her bag. "Thanks, Mom," she said, returning the smile. Her mom's familiarity with diabetes had always been a source of comfort.
Minutes later, she was out the door and on her way to Forks High School. The campus buzzed with excitement, but (Y/N) couldn't help feeling a bit of trepidation. New school, new faces, and the relentless specter of diabetes were a lot to handle.
History class was her first stop, and she found a seat next to a boy named Jasper. They exchanged polite nods as she settled into her chair, trying to focus on the teacher's introduction.
Then it happened. A discreet but insistent beep emanated from her wrist. Her watch timer, meticulously set to remind her when to take her juice, had gone off. This was the crucial moment to maintain her blood sugar levels. With practiced ease, she reached into her bag to retrieve her juice, only to discover her heart-sinking realization – it wasn't there.
Panic started to creep in, her fingers trembling as she fumbled through her bag in desperation. Jasper, noticing her distress, leaned closer. "Is everything okay?" he asked in a concerned whisper.
(Y/N) could feel her face flush with anxiety. She mumbled, "I think I left my juice in my locker. I need to go get it."
The teacher, Mrs. Thompson, glanced their way. "Is there a problem?"
(Y/N) stuttered, "I just need to grab something from my locker. It won't take long, I promise."
Mrs. Thompson nodded, granting her permission to leave the class. Her heart raced as she hurried out the door, fervently hoping that her juice would be where she thought it was.
(Y/N) practically sprinted through the hallways, her heart pounding in her chest. The idea of waiting another four hours until lunch without her juice was unbearable. She needed to retrieve her lifeline from her locker, and she needed it now.
Finally, she reached her locker, a sense of relief washing over her as she yanked it open. But that relief quickly turned to frustration as she stared at the sight before her. Her textbooks had fallen over and, in a cruel twist of fate, had crushed the juice boxes. Their colorful packaging was torn and sticky liquid seeped from the ruined containers.
"No, no, no," she muttered in frustration, tears welling up in her eyes. It felt like the universe was conspiring against her today, and the overwhelming weight of her situation crashed down on her shoulders. Her mind raced with thoughts of how she would make it through the day without her juice.
Just when it seemed like her world was spiraling out of control, a voice interrupted her thoughts. "Hey, are you okay?" It was Rosalie, a girl she barely knew, but one of the few familiar faces in this new school.
(Y/N) blinked back tears and explained what had happened, her voice quivering with anxiety. "I don't know what to do. I can't wait until lunch without my juice."
Rosalie glanced at the sticky mess inside her locker and then at Emmett, who had joined them. "That's totally not cool," he said, sympathy in his eyes. "I'll grab you something from the vending machine. What do you want?"
(Y/N) opened her mouth to protest, but before she could utter a word, Emmett had already taken off down the hallway. She looked helplessly after him, torn between gratitude and a sense of intrusion.
Rosalie placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry about it," she said with a warm smile. "Once Emmett's made up his mind, that's that. He's a bit overbearing at times, but he means well."
(Y/N) couldn't help but smile through her frustration. In this unexpected moment of crisis, she had found a glimmer of kindness and support. Sometimes, it took a helping hand to make a bad situation feel a little more manageable.
Just when (Y/N) thought her day couldn't get any stranger, Emmett returned with a comical surplus of juice boxes in his arms. He had not come back with just one or two; he had brought what looked like a small grocery store worth of them.
"Emmett! What are you doing?" Rosalie exclaimed, smacking him on the back of the head. She looked at the impressive stack of juice boxes with a mix of amusement and disbelief.
Emmett shrugged, a sheepish grin on his face. "I didn't know how many she wanted, so I just grabbed them all."
(Y/N) stood there, stunned and grateful. She couldn't believe the lengths this stranger was going to in order to help her out. "Thank you," she managed to say, her voice filled with genuine appreciation.
Emmett chuckled. "No problem at all. It's better to have too many than not enough, right?"
Rosalie rolled her eyes but wore a fond smile. "You always do this, Emmett. How are you going to carry all of them?"
Emmett scratched his head, looking a bit perplexed. "I'll just carry them around until we see her again at lunch. She can take what she needs now."
(Y/N) couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. "I don't even know how to thank you both enough," she said, reaching out to take a handful of juice boxes, about six of them. It was a bit heavy, but she could manage.
Emmett grinned, his good-naturedness shining through. "You're welcome. Anytime you need help, just let us know."
Rosalie gave (Y/N) a playful shove. "Girls gotta help girls, right?"
With her backpack now considerably heavier with the added juice boxes, (Y/N) felt a newfound sense of belonging. These two strangers had shown her kindness and support when she needed it most, and she couldn't help but feel that Forks High School might not be such a daunting place after all. As they walked her back to class, she couldn't help but smile, grateful for this unexpected friendship.
Lunchtime arrived, and (Y/N) entered the bustling cafeteria with her stack of juice boxes, feeling a mixture of gratitude and nervousness. She looked around, wondering where to sit when she heard a familiar voice booming across the room.
"Hey, juice girl!" Emmett called out, waving enthusiastically from a table on the other side of the cafeteria. His infectious energy drew the attention of many students, and a few curious glances followed her as she made her way toward him.
A warm smile stretched across her face as she approached Emmett's table. He had saved her from a diabetic crisis earlier in the day, and now he was offering her a seat at his table, as if she were already part of their group.
"Thanks," she said, taking a seat next to Emmett, her stack of juice boxes settling beside her. She couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging that she hadn't expected to find so quickly in this new school.
As she settled in and started unpacking her lunch, (Y/N) couldn't help but feel grateful for the kindness of her new friends. It was a small gesture, but it meant the world to her, and it made Forks High School feel a little less dauntin
Emmett introduced his siblings to (Y/N) with a playful grin. "This is Rosalie, my lovely and sometimes overly responsible partner, and this," he gestured dramatically to a young man who had been quiet until now, "is Edward, our resident brooding poet."
“Partner?”
“It’s complicated,” Rosalie says but she gave (Y/N) a warm smile, and Edward nodded in acknowledgment, his expression more reserved.
Emmett couldn't resist a teasing grin as he turned to (Y/N). "And, of course, you already know me, the one who saved the day earlier—your trusty juice retriever." He emphasized the last part, a playful twinkle in his eye.
“Then there’s Alice and jasper but I’m not sure where those two are at the moment.” He added.
(Y/N) couldn't help but laugh at Emmett's description. "Yes, my hero," she replied, her gratitude evident in her tone.
Edward, who had been observing the interaction quietly, couldn't resist a smirk. "Emmett and his heroic acts. Quite the storyteller, he is."
Emmett chuckled, taking a sip of his drink. "Well, I just wanted to make sure our new friend here didn't pass out from low blood sugar."
(Y/N) felt a sense of warmth and camaraderie settling in at the table. These strangers had quickly become friends, and she was grateful for their support. With a newfound sense of belonging, she joined in the conversation, feeling more at ease in this new school than she had thought possible.

Daddy's Credit Card
Edward Cullen x Female Vampire Reader (Platonic)
Cullen Family x Female Vampire Reader (Platonic)
Summary: Y/N is an entitled brat with the power of mental manipulation. She makes life for the Cullen family a bit more difficult.
TW: Entitlement, mention of death, threats and violence, lack of regard for the feelings/property of others.
Tumblr media
Edward Cullen had the unfortunate honor of being considered Y/N's closest friend. This role came with a lot of responsibility as Y/N could be quite impulsive, unpredictable and short-tempered. His ability to read her mind came in particularly useful because it allowed him to stop an idea in its tracks before it could be carried out.
Y/N was the first Vampire that Carlisle was able to create and she fell in love with him during the years they spent together. It had been only the two of them since the early 1800s before he turned Edward in 1918 to be a potential mate for her. Y/N felt like Carlisle was pushing her to the wayside and trying to placate her by introducing Edward.
Y/N harbored quite a bit of disdain for Edward upon meeting him, but eventually came to accept him. She grew resentful towards Carlisle, especially after he introduced Esme into the family and married her soon after. Carlisle tried his best to mend his relationship with Y/N, but it was nothing like it had been all those years ago.
Edward and Y/N were virtually inseparable, but there were no romantic feelings involved. Y/N could be quite possessive of him, but he tried his best to reassure her that he wouldn't abandon her as a friend. As the Cullen family grew, Y/N started to rebel against Carlisle and push back against some of the rules he had set, especially about using her powers.
Carlisle tended to let her get away with almost everything, as long as no one was harmed. He had been dealing with her outbursts for hundreds of years and was understandably exasperated. Carlisle's hands-off parenting approach with Y/N was most likely the reason that Edward was in his current predicament.
Y/N had "borrowed" Carlisle's credit card and had completely disappeared for almost two months before returning to the Cullen home with a brand new black Camaro and too many shopping bags to count.
The week before her disappearance, Edward had caught one of her ideas before it was able to snowball into a very expensive trip to Las Vegas on Carlisle's dime. He could only imagine what she had come up with instead.
Carlisle welcomed her back into the home with open arms, not daring to ask her where she had been. Edward couldn't stand her continuing sense of entitlement, but he was honestly impressed by how creative she could get with her rebellious behavior.
Y/N walked up the stairs, lifting her sunglasses up onto her head as she made her way into Edward's room.
"Get up, we're going hunting," She said.
"I have school in an hour," Edward stated, closing his book and setting it aside.
Y/N scoffed, taking her sunglasses off and tossing them onto his desk. Y/N had become indifferent to high school over the years and Edward couldn't blame her.
"Where were you?" Edward asked, Y/N shrugged, "Everywhere... Europe, mainly," She said.
"How much of Carlisle's money did you spend?" Edward questioned.
"Not nearly enough. Get up," She said. Edward clenched his jaw as he stood up from the couch without any intention of doing it.
"I hate it when you do that," He muttered, shaking his head.
"Come hunting with me," Y/N repeated.
"I'll get you one deer, then I have to go," Edward bargained, "Deal," Y/N replied.
...
Edward rode to school in the passenger seat of Y/N's new car, "I met someone while you were gone," He stated.
"You should know that you don't have room in your life for anyone besides me," Y/N replied without looking at him.
Edward huffed a laugh, "You aren't even here half the time," He said.
"Doesn't matter. I don't share my things," Y/N stated, driving up into the parking lot of the school.
"I don't belong to you," Edward said.
Although it was true that Carlisle had saved him with the intention of creating a companion for Y/N, their relationship tended to be one sided. Edward was expected to be available to her at all times for whatever she may need, but the same standards didn't apply to her.
Y/N could disappear for years and would still expect Edward to be waiting for her upon her return like a loyal lap dog.
"You can keep thinking that all you want," She said, pulling into a parking spot beside Rosalie's car before putting the car in park and shutting off the engine.
Y/N reached for the door handle, "Wait," Edward said, she looked over at him, "I haven't asked you for many things in the time that we've known each other, but I'm serious about this person and I would appreciate your support in this," Edward said.
"Is she human?" Y/N asked.
Edward nodded, "Her name is Bella," He said.
"I don't care what her name is, Edward. This relationship is not going to continue," Y/N stated.
"She already knows about us," Edward said.
"You told her?" Y/N questioned.
"No, she figured it out herself," He replied.
"This shouldn't even be a conversation," Y/N scoffed.
"Bella has met the family and they accept our relationship... I'm in love with her, Y/N," Edward said.
"This is ridiculous," Y/N snapped, opening the door and getting out of the car. She slammed the door as hard as she possibly could have without shattering the window.
Edward sighed, resting his head back on the seat behind him before reluctantly stepping out of the car and making his way into the building.
...
Bella jumped as he locker was suddenly slammed shut. Her heart pounded in her chest as she looked up at the young woman with golden brown eyes, "I-You must be Y/N... Edward has told me about you," Bella said nervously.
Y/N stepped forward, crowding Bella back against the wall of lockers as she stared the girl down, "He's told me plenty about you too. But none of it matters because you and Edward are done. You're going to break up with him and forget all about us," Y/N instructed.
Bella scoffed softly, "I-I'm not gonna do that. I love him," She said.
Y/N's face fell, "You little-," She started, an arm quickly wrapped around her waist and pulled her away from Bella.
"Don't even think about it," Edward growled.
He looked up at Bella, he could hear her heart racing, "Are you okay, Bella?" He asked.
She nodded, "I'm fine," She said softly.
"Go wait in the car," Edward said sternly to Y/N. She shoved his arm away from herself before storming off down the hallway.
"You weren't kidding about her," Bella said.
"I'm sorry, that shouldn't have happened," Edward said, making his way over to her.
"You don't have anything to apologize for," Bella assured.
"She'll come around eventually, I promise. She hated me at first too," Edward said.
"I find that hard to believe," Bella said, picking up her backpack and slipping her arms through the straps.
"Y/N is a very complicated person to understand," Edward sighed. The pair began walking down the hallway towards the exit, "Does she try to intimidate people very often?" Bella questioned.
Edward flinched at the question, "What?" Bella asked.
"That wasn't her attempt to intimidate you... Y/N has the ability to control people's minds and if you were anyone but you, you'd be doing exactly what she told you to," Edward said.
"Seriously?" Bella asked, Edward nodded.
The pair made their way outside, Edward's eyes quickly located Y/N, she was leaning against the hood of her car with her arms crossed while staring daggers at Bella.
Edward read her thoughts quickly, resting his hand on Bella's back and walking her over to her truck when he found no immediate threats to her safety in his friend's mind.
"Is there any way that I can talk with her sometime? Just to clear the air," Bella asked.
"That's really not a good idea right now. Just go home and I'll come see you later, alright?" Edward said, she nodded.
Edward opened the door to her truck and allowed her to climb in before closing door for her. She sent him a small smile as she started the truck before putting it into gear and driving off the lot.
...
The Cullen family gathered in the living room, the air was tense as they discussed the incident that had occurred between Bella and Y/N at the school.
Edward had told Carlisle about what Y/N was thinking before he was able to intercept her attack on the young girl Edward had come to care for.
"You were going to hurt Bella, that is absolutely unacceptable," Carlisle said firmly. Y/N rolled her eyes, "I didn't even lay a finger on her, Carlisle, you're being dramatic," She replied.
"Edward heard your thoughts and was able to stop you before inflicting any physical harm to her, but your intentions were clear," Carlisle said, glancing over at Edward.
"Having an incident in the school would absolutely draw enough attention to our family to require us to leave Forks again," Esme said.
"Especially after what happened in the parking lot," Rosalie muttered.
"It's not like I was going to kill her, just maim her a little," Y/N shrugged.
Edward clenched his jaw, taking a breath to try and calm himself down before doing anything rash.
"Bella is with Edward and that makes her a part of this family," Carlisle said.
"Understand that this human girl is not even close to a part of this family. She will die and the world will be left no different than when she was alive. We are wasting time arguing about something ridiculously insignificant," Y/N said.
Edward ran at her, slamming her back against the wall hard enough to crack the plaster. She stared up at him with a blank expression, "Tell me that I'm lying," Y/N said.
Emmett moved to take a step forward, Rosalie grabbed his arm wordlessly before he could get himself involved. Edward and Y/N had to work this out on their own and there was definitely the possibility of an ugly fight breaking out.
"I've seen a vision of Bella as one of us," Alice said.
"That's not going to happen," Edward snapped.
"Then she'll die and this will mean nothing. Take a stand on a topic that matters, Edward," Y/N replied, effortlessly pushing him away from herself and making her way out of the room.

Brooding Edward (Edward Cullen x M! Vampire Reader)
I got a comment some time ago asking for more Edward Cullen fics, so I came to deliver :) Hope you guys enjoy it.
Summary: You don't know when your dislike of Edward turned into adoration, but you did know that you didn't like how close he was getting with the human, Isabella Swan.
tags: scheming Edward, jealous reader, hater to lover, making out, Bella used as a pawn in Edward's plan, mentions of Bella x Edward
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Forks was a dreary town, always dripping with rain and cloaked in mist, a far cry from the places I’d roamed over the centuries. I’d arrived here on a whim, seeking nothing more than a quiet place to blend in, disappear among the mundane, and watch as the world turned on without me. But I wasn’t completely alone here. There were others of my kind, tucked away in the dense forests.
The first time I laid eyes on Edward Cullen, I knew immediately what he was—beautiful, yes, but also cold and distant, a façade of perfection wrapped around a soul that seemed perpetually weighed down. We didn’t speak much at first, just acknowledged each other as predators passing in the same territory.
But the more I saw him, the more I realized how irritatingly complex he was.
He wasn’t like the others—his siblings, his parents—who seemed content with the life they had carved out here, blending in with humans, attending school like everything was perfectly normal. Edward. had this air of constant torment, like he was wrestling with demons none of us could see. It grated on me. The self-imposed suffering. The way he would sit in class, staring out the window like the weight of existence itself was crushing him.
I couldn’t stand it.
“Edward’s always been like that.” Alice once told me when I asked why her brother seemed more brooding than the rest of them. She smiled, almost fondly, as if his moodiness was something endearing, but I couldn’t wrap my head around it.
“You mean miserable?”
“He’s complicated.” she explained, and for some reason, that word irritated me even more.
Complicated. Right.
The more I was around him, the more I was drawn to observe his every movement, his every interaction. And it only made my disdain grow. Edward had this way of pulling people in without even trying—his impossibly good looks, the air of mystery that seemed to cling to him like fog, his quiet intelligence. Everyone wanted to know him, to understand him. But he kept everyone at arm’s length.
He was a contradiction—mysterious yet aloof, compassionate yet disconnected. And I couldn’t stop watching him.
It became a sick habit of mine, this strange fascination, though I told myself it was just that. I would catch glimpses of him in the halls at school, his expression always distant, as if he were somewhere else entirely. He rarely laughed or even smiled—everything seemed so goddamn serious to him. His siblings would joke around, ease into their lives here, but Edward? He remained on the outskirts, as though he couldn’t let himself relax, couldn’t let go of whatever it was that tormented him.
There was something maddening about it.
It wasn’t until Isabella Swan came into the picture that everything shifted.
She was new, fragile, and completely unaware of the supernatural undercurrent running through Forks. But Edward saw her. And it wasn’t just passing interest. I noticed it from the beginning—the way his gaze would linger on her in class, how his jaw would tense when she got too close to any of the other students, or how he disappeared for days after their first encounter, struggling to keep himself in check.
I remember the first time I heard them talking, watching from a distance, seated in the cafeteria among the other Cullens. Edward’s voice was soft but strained, his gaze locked on hers like she was the most precious thing in the world. The intensity in his eyes, the way his entire being seemed to revolve around this human—it was unsettling.
"She’s different." he told me once when I couldn’t stop myself from asking why he was so fascinated with her.
"Different?" I echoed, unable to keep the disbelief out of my voice. "She’s human, Edward. She’ll die in a blink of an eye. What happens then?" He said nothing, just stared off into the distance, as if the very idea caused him more pain than I could understand.
It was then that the slow burn of jealousy began to fester inside me, though I couldn’t name it at first. The fact that Edward, who seemed indifferent to everything, had suddenly fixated on this girl—this fragile, breakable human—made something inside me twist. I was used to seeing him as distant, untouchable, yet here he was letting his guard down for someone like her.
I wanted Edward’s gaze on me. His intensity. His focus. The realization hit me harder than I expected, and it wasn’t long before that jealousy bubbled over into anger.
One night, the tension reached a boiling point. Edward had just returned from dropping Bella off, his face drawn, like always, but with something else in his eyes that I couldn’t ignore. Satisfaction. The kind of satisfaction that came from spending time with her. The kind of satisfaction I wanted him to feel when he was with me.
“Isabella this, Isabella that.” I sneered, my voice cutting through the stillness of the forest. Edward stopped in his tracks, his expression hardening as he turned to face me.
“What’s your problem?” His tone was cold, guarded.
I stepped forward, closing the distance between us, my chest tight with the jealousy and frustration I’d been holding in for too long. “My problem is that you’re throwing everything away for her. And for what? She’s nothing special, Edward.”
His jaw clenched, his golden eyes flashing dangerously. “You don’t know her. You don’t understand.”
“Understand?” I laughed bitterly. “What’s there to understand? She’s human. You’re a vampire. End of story.”
“It’s not that simple,” Edward hissed, stepping closer, his presence looming. “It’s never been that simple.”
I stared him down, anger boiling over into something sharper. “You think I don’t see what’s happening here? You’re losing yourself in her. You’re forgetting who you are, what you are. She’s going to be your downfall.”
He glared at me, and I could see the storm brewing behind his eyes. His hand shot out, grabbing the front of my shirt, pulling me roughly against him. “You’re wrong.”
Before I could snap back, Edward’s lips collided with mine like a strike of lightning, fierce and demanding, with none of the hesitation I’d come to expect from him. The initial shock froze me for only a second, but then the fire that had been building inside me for so long erupted, and I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, yanking him closer, forcing the kiss deeper.
His body pressed hard against mine, the coldness of his skin a sharp contrast to the heat pulsing through me. This wasn’t like anything I’d imagined—there was no softness, no careful exploration—just raw, primal need. His lips left mine briefly, trailing down the line of my jaw, his breath cool against my skin as he whispered, “You think I’m hers?” His voice was low and dangerous. “I was never hers.”
I gripped his shoulders, shoving him back slightly, forcing his eyes to meet mine. “What the hell are you talking about?”
He smirked, that infuriating, knowing smirk that sent another wave of frustration and heat crashing through me. His eyes darkened, the gold-flecked with something more primal, more dangerous. “My relationship with Bella means nothing to me.”
I tried to shove him away again, but he held firm, his grip on me unyielding, his body pressing me back against the rough bark of the tree. “Bullshit,” I growled, but the anger in my voice was already fading, replaced by something I didn’t want to admit. “You’ve been obsessed with her—”
“Lies.” he interrupted, his lips hovering over mine, so close I could kiss him again if I leaned forward. “I needed her to push you, to make you feel what you’ve been ignoring for months.”
My mind reeled. “You’re saying this was all some kind of game?”
His smirk widened, but it wasn’t cruel—it was victorious. “Not a game. A plan.” His fingers trailed lightly over my collarbone, sending sparks through me, and I hated how easily he could get under my skin, how quickly he could break down the walls I’d built. “I’ve been waiting for you to realize it, to stop fighting me.”
“Fighting you? You never said a damn thing.”
“I didn’t need to. I knew you’d come to me eventually.”
The kiss that followed was harder, more desperate, and I couldn’t stop myself from pulling him closer, the fire that had been smoldering between us now raging out of control. His hands roamed over my body, each touch stoking the flames higher. I couldn’t think, his presence overwhelming every sense, every thought.
“I'm yours,” he growled against my lips, his voice rough and possessive. His hands slid under my shirt, cold fingers tracing over my skin, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. “Not hers.”
The words hit me like a punch, and I grabbed his face, pulling him back just enough to meet his gaze. “Say it again.”
His eyes bored into mine, that same victorious glint dancing in their depths. “I’m not hers. I’m yours.”

‘When you know, you know’- Rosalie Hale Headcannons!!
• Rosalie had learned about you though Alice. Alice had seen you in a vision one night while talking with Bella, stoping in her tracks, smiling and acting all giddy like a little girl.
“Rosalie! I have something to tell you!” Alice had said excitedly, bouncing up and down in place with a smile plastered on her face. “Hm?” Rosalie replied, not even looking up from painting her nails. “I found someone for you!” Alice said happily, smile never fading. “Excuse me?”
• Cold hand interlock with a warm one. You had found yourself standing in front of the Cullen’s house, wishing to wipe yourself from existence. But with some dirty work- Rosalie had gotten some help from her “twin” brother and Edward- you were feeling much calmer the second you had walked through the door.
• Makeup off, hair in rollers, skincare products settling into the skin, Victoria Secret pajamas on and perfume lingered in the air, freshly painted nails finally dried as you two giggled while flipping through magazine pages like middle school girls.
• You have gaven Rosalie some of the humanity that she was missing and she was able to relive some of her life with you. Telling her stories from your life and all of the drama in the world. While you told her about your mortal life, she would tell you stories about her life before and about her marriage. She’d show you pictures from that day- she looked beautiful.
• Rosalie would be against the idea of you turning and would 100% go nuts if someone brought it up. She would only be considering it if you were in danger and needed to be saved. She’d be doing the honors however.
• Smells like Pure Seductive, pear smelling hairspray, and laundry detergent. She definitely wears cherry chapstick/lip gloss.

ONE
The same nightmare every night, recurring in your mind as if it were an impossible memory to forget. A large part of the Quileute tribe killed by the hands of the one you will someday love. Not that your love story with Edward Cullen was worth anything. After all, he is a vampire. You are a descendant of a lineage of shapeshifters who transform into wolves. What could go right in this story? You've been driving for about two hours to reach Forks. It's been a month since you started having nightmares involving the tribe to which you belong and your ex-boyfriend. So, you decided to return to Forks to see your friends and those who are like family to you and, if possible, stay as far away as possible from Edward Cullen.
"If you had picked up your phone, Sam, you'd know I'm almost there. But since you didn't, just know I'm entering Forks now. I'll head to La Push as soon as possible." You say, leaving a message on Sam's voicemail. He knew you'd be arriving soon but didn't know exactly when. In fact, it was his idea for you to return to Forks. As your nightmares have become more frequent, you're so sleepy that you can barely tell how you're still managing to drive.
And then, like flashbacks in your mind, your moments with Edward and the pack you were part of come to the surface. You remember how you met Edward amidst a fight between the Quileutes and the Cullen vampires. One of them had accidentally crossed the border that separated the vampires from the wolves. It was chaos. Your father, who was alive at the time, was very angry and considered killing a Cullen to show that invading Quileute territory was a bad idea. Luckily, Jacob's father was more sensible. Edward read your mind for the first time that day. He knew you were curious about what the Cullens were doing crossing the border that separated the two enemies. So later, at the border, he found you and explained. Jasper had been hunting an unknown vampire who had hurt Alice and ended up crossing over. That was the first time you wondered if a vampire was okay, and when Edward noticed your slight concern for Jasper, he believed you were different. Amidst your moment of recollection, you lose concentration. But you only realize this when your car hits someone hard. You're dazed by the impact, but as soon as you look ahead, you feel a certain relief. Edward is right in front of you, staring at you with a curious look as if he doesn't quite understand that it's really you.
"What are you doing, Cullen?" you ask in an enraged tone. Of course you're angry. He's a vampire, unscathed after the collision with your car, while your car and you have suffered some impact. I mean, you can feel blood trickling near your right eye, but the damage to your car is definitely more significant.
"It's going to sound strange. Alice had a vision that saw me doing this as soon as you arrived here. I'm not saying I did it on purpose. In fact, I am hunting. But you really are here." Edward speaks as if he still doesn't quite understand that you're actually in front of him. You take a deep breath, trying to resist the urge to kill him for what happened to your car. In reality, you're unsure whether you should get out of the car or not. You're bleeding, and that could be a challenge for Edward.
"I'm not going to attack you, don't worry. I thought you knew I would never do something like that to you. I mean…" Edward says, and you automatically get out of the car, walking toward him. Something about the proximity between you leaves both of you speechless. You always hated when Cullen listened to your thoughts, and he knows that. The courtesy of having your private thoughts respected seemed to be valid only during your relationship.
"You mean you wouldn't attack anyone unless it was absolutely necessary. I know, I know you, Edward. What surprises me is the fact that you don't seem to know me. You know I hate when you… never mind. Maybe you only respected me while we were together. Now we're strangers to each other." You say, realizing how different he seems, even though he hasn't aged a day since the last time you saw him.
"I'm still the same, Y/N. The same guy you walked away from years ago." Edward speaks softly but with a certain sadness in his words. You look at him, unsure of how to respond. Yes, you ended your brief relationship out of fear of what your father would do to him if he found out.
"Look, I didn't intend to bring the past back. I think it's better if you go your way and I go mine." You say, turning to leave and drive your somewhat damaged car. But Edward appears in front of you before you can open the door.
"Carlisle can take care of that for you. I know he'd be glad to see you again." Edward says, stepping a little closer to you. You stare at him, this time not understanding what he wants. It's obvious he's talking about the injury on your head, but you don't understand why he seems so reluctant to distance himself.
"And I should go to your father figure and ask him to help me based on what? The fact that you and I were together years ago? The fact that my tribe has no idea what happened between us? Maybe I should go ask him how he feels about seeing you about to marry a human. What do you think, Edward?" Your tone is absurdly ironic but realistic. Just the fact that you're here now with Edward could jeopardize everything. If Sam or Jacob see you here with him talking about your past relationship, it could cause a mess. Not to mention that Cullen is now committed.
"I caused this in you. Maybe you should go to Carlisle for the same reason anyone in this town would. You've had an accident, Y/N, you need to take care of this." Edward says, gently touching the area where you got hurt. You let out a soft groan of pain and then pull away.
"How do you suggest I deal with the complications that going to Carlisle would bring me?" You ask, almost grumbling. Edward smiles slightly, as if he even misses these conversations you used to have when you were together.
"Do you remember the farthest spot from here where we used to meet when we were dating? Meet Carlisle there when you can. Unfortunately, Jacob is already on his way here, and I think it's better if I'm not here when he arrives." Edward speaks, and before you can say anything in response, he's already gone.
"Your cowardice is remarkable!" You shout, hoping he hears you. As you turn around, Black is behind you. He's clearly sweaty, must have come running in his human form.
"What happened to you, Y/N?" Jacob Black asks, quickly approaching you. He must be worried because you're injured and apparently talking to yourself in the middle of the road.
"I had an accident. I hit an animal, actually. It was quite a mess. How did you know I was here?" You ask curiously as Jacob gets closer to you, analyzing and sniffing you. You wonder if you smell bad, but then remember that Edward was here just a little while ago.
"Since when did you learn to lie to me? I thought we were honest with each other." Jacob says, looking into your eyes, and you feel guilty for lying to him.
"You want to have a relationship argument here? Then it was better not to have come at all. If you could excuse me." You say, walking past Jacob and heading towards your car, but he gently grabs your hand before you can open the car door.
"I missed you," Jacob says as he gently strokes your hand. You look at him and then walk towards him, embracing him.
"I missed you too, more than you can imagine. How about you drive what's left of my car to La Push, so we can have a better conversation?" You say, hugging him tighter, as if you didn't want to let go. It's strange, but seeing him safe made you feel better. After dreaming so many times about Jacob's death, it's good to see him like this.
"I'll drive your old tin can here. You can sit comfortably in the passenger seat. And don't worry, I'm sure there will be some bandages for you there." He says, kissing your cheek and opening the passenger door for you. You get into the car and watch him enter the car and take the wheel. He starts driving, and you slowly begin to close your eyes, hoping that now that you're in Forks, your nightmares won't come true.

It had been a week since you got caught staring at Rosalie, your mind was going crazy, it would go from how beautiful she was to how to get rid of her boyfriend, wondering how important he is to her to how you’d never be good enough for her. Even though you’d die for her, it felt as though you were in over your head.
After that day, it seemed as though the Cullen/Hales were watching you, waiting for you to try something. You blink, coming out of your thoughts when you hear her laugh, your eyes slowly drift over, skipping past the many golden eyes that watch you and land on her. Aphrodite herself in the arms of Hercules, her smile beams up at him as he holds her, whispering in her ear, probably smelling her unique scent of vanilla and strawberries that only she could pull off. You can feel your heart twist and squeeze before shattering into your stomach, your throat closes up and your mouth becomes dry as you stop breathing.
You feel the familiar green-eyed monster creeping beneath your skin, your very own jealousy. The thing that makes you think you could take Emmett in a fight to get to his girlfriend. A laugh breaks you out of your stare, this time closer. You turn slightly and look up, your mouth opens and closes, brows furrowing as you see who is standing beside you. Next to you is Edward Cullen and for some reason you feel as though he’s laughing at you or something you’ve said. But you hadn’t spoken, had you? Did you let slip of your slight obsession with his adoptive sister? No one could’ve figured it out, everyone stared at the Cullen/Hales, it wasn’t news to them. So how did he know?
You huff, cheeks puffing out as frustration seeps in next to your neverending jealousy. “What are you laughing at, Cullen?” It didn’t take a genius or an empath to know people were staring at the two of you with jealousy (an emotion you knew so well), envy, curiosity and more as none of the Cullen/Hales talked to people outside of their family, let alone laugh with at them, well with the exception of Bella Swan of course. The woman so bland that it seemed to attract the weird. They weren’t your thoughts but things you picked up from around the other students.
“If you stare any harder, she might burst into flames.” You sigh.
“Not my fault your sister looks like a goddess. It’s a good thing you are all adopted because no one would believe she’d be related to you. Your face is even an insult to dog shit.” Edwards brows furrow, head whipping your way so fast that you’d think he’d break his own neck. His mouth opens but before he can give a comeback, a booming laugh fills the hall and your head turns, seeing Emmett on the floor laughing with one hand on his chest and the other slapping his knee so hard you feel he might end up breaking it. The others seem to laugh more quietly, you’d be confused thinking that they somehow heard you from all the way over there if you weren’t so captivated by Rosalie’s smile, her eyes trained on you in a lighter way. Something you hadn’t seen since her first day. Her smile is so beautiful.
“Well, that was rude.” Edward once again breaks your thoughts as he mutters with a frown on his face.
Your eyes flicker between Rosalie and Emmett, a question on your mind. “Are her and Emmett serious?” They had to give it to you, you had the guts even when you didn’t know they could all hear you.
Edward raises a brow. “They are, our parents already love him.” Your eyes roll.
“You’d hope so or they’d be asking for a refund.” You were already looking in their direction so you didn’t miss Emmett’s offended face or the fact the other three were now laughing at him. Could they hear you from all the way over there? You turn with the serious look still on your face. “You think your parents will adopt me? I’d be a great daughter, I cook, I don’t clean though, but I can pretend. I can be quiet, mostly because I’m hoping my mouth will be kept busy.” He chokes, you don’t know what on. Maybe air dick? He chokes again. Definitely air dick. Another choke, couldn’t he at least get a room? You stare annoyed as he interrupts with his noises. “Excuse me, I’m trying to give myself a good review to pass onto your parents, so stop choking on Casper’s dick and be quiet. Now.” You clap your hands together. “When should I start calling them mum and dad?”
Edward focuses on your thoughts, trying to see if you were serious. All he’s met with is Rosalie and wanting to be loved. Through his annoyance, he decides to let you down harshly. “Y/n, I’m sorry but Rosalie is happy with Emmett and she’s never going to end it with him for someone like you. You’d have better luck finding someone in your league at a Dollar Store.”
From across the hall, Jasper could feel your emotions, even though you don’t need to be an empath to know how you felt as Edward said those words. Speaking of the crystal ball, he tries to read your mind again wanting to know if you were finally going to let whatever this is for his sister go. His brows furrow even more than they were before, confused as to why he suddenly hears nothing. It was as though you had shut yourself off completely. Not even allowing your own thoughts into your head.
You blink, nodding to the wake up call. “Okay” They can hear it in your voice, you sounded like someone who was just told they’d never achieve their dream because they weren’t good enough and in this situation Rosalie was your dream and you were never going to be good enough for her. This was only one of the worst things that could’ve happened, not only did you finally realise that your crush knew you liked her but her family had stepped in and basically told you that your feelings don’t even matter, no. The worst was the fact that all of the students stuck around because they wanted to see what a Cullen wanted with you.
They heard everything, they heard about your crush on the woman, they heard that her family didn’t approve and that she’s happy with Emmett, they heard the harsh words poured onto you like a cold bucket of water. They heard EVERY word.
Reality finally sets in as you take in the situation around you. Not wanting to give anyone anything, you straighten your back with your head held high and you turn, walking past the Cullen/Hales without a glance. Deep down Rosalie would always have your heart even though you could never have hers. The confusing part was you don’t know why you felt so strongly about her, it wasn’t like you two spent time together. The only memory you have of talking to her was when they first moved to Forks.
The town was buzzing with gossip about a new family moving here. You had heard snippets of the family, but you weren’t that interested in partaking in gossip. You yawned as your first class was about to begin, your notebook and pen lying in front of you on the table. The door to the classroom opened and gasps were heard, followed by the room erupting in chatter. You kept your head down, just wanting to get this day over with so you could go home and try to sleep your life away.
“It’s a pleasure to have you in Forks, Miss Hale. Please take a seat next to Miss L/n.” You heard your last name, causing your brows to furrow. There were many open seats, why did you have to be chosen to sit with the new kid? “Miss L/n. Please raise your hand so Miss Hale can find her seat.” You don’t bother looking up, your hand raises, hearing a quick thank you from the teacher. It felt like the universe was trying to bring you together.
It was as though everyone had stopped breathing as she walked toward the back of the room, all you could hear were the click of heels before a body slid gracefully into the seat beside you. “Alright, look up front please! I’d like to start this lesson without any disruptions.” The students immediately took their eyes off the woman beside you, turning their attention to their teacher. “Thank you.”
You open your notebook before hearing a slight huff to your left. You ignore it, hoping that whatever was the issue that they wouldn’t need you. You weren’t a people person, you didn’t really have friends because you liked to keep to yourself. Maybe that’s what made you two the perfect match, your mutual dislike for people.
“Excuse me.” You hear a soft elegant voice and you grow confused as to why your heart has started beating so rapidly. You push the odd feeling away as you turn, only to be met with the most gorgeous woman you have ever seen. You hold back from widening your eyes, knowing that she’s probably gotten that everywhere she goes and is possibly sick of the attention– You didn’t know that she thrived on attention, on being the most beautiful woman in the room. Sure she wasn’t particularly that fond of the male gaze as she once was, but she knew she was stronger now and enjoyed every bit of attention she could get. “I’m sorry for bothering you, but I seem to have forgotten my pen and I was wondering if you had a spare one that I could borrow?”
You nod but in your mind you wonder who forgets their pen? Neither of you knew that a certain pixie-sized seer had something to do with it. You reach into your bag and pull out another pen and hand it over. You watched as her perfectly manicured fingers wrapped around it.
“Thank you.” She smiles and you begin to wonder if you were dreaming because no one could look this perfect. Rosalie tucks her hair behind her ear, holding out her hand. “I am Rosalie. Rosalie Hale.”
Before you can stop yourself, you find your hand in hers. The cold not bothering you like it would others, “I’m Y/n. Y/n L/n.” After you introduced yourself, it seemed as though everything fell into place. The empty feeling you used to feel in your chest is now gone and replaced with warmth and a pull. You both spent the majority of the class talking as if you had known each other for your whole life. When the bell rang and she said goodbye, you didn’t know that would be the last conversation you were ever going to have with her.
You walked out of class, heading to your next one when voices stopped you. “Did you meet her?! Did you?! Do you like her?!” A hushed squeal comes out of someone, claps could be heard from their hands and shoes bouncing off of the ground.
“Yes, I met her. Why are you so excited about this, Alice? You know how I feel about humans.” The voice you recognised as Rosalie’s responded.
Alice lets out a huff. “You’re mates, that’s why! Didn’t you feel the pull? You’ve been waiting forever to find yours. Why aren’t you as happy?”
“Mates?! I can’t be mates with that! She is human, innocent! She can’t live this life, she can’t be cursed.” Rosalie responds so harshly, it was as though her words were knives. “You will not meddle at all, do you hear me? I will even go as far as making it seem like Emmett and I are together and in love.” She growls and that’s the end of it, you hear footsteps echo throughout the hall as she walks off. Rosalie didn’t know that the minute she spoke to you, the mate bond activated within you. Spreading throughout your body and making you unable to forget or move on from her. You would say that would be the reason you had become so obsessed.
You pull yourself out of that memory. After that day, she stopped talking to you. She moved seats, became cold. The only thing that made you know that you weren’t going crazy into thinking if you two speaking on her first day was real or not was your pen. It was the only evidence, the only thing keeping your belief alive as you’d watch her twirl it between her fingers or write notes down with her flawless handwriting.
A few weeks later the couple had graduated, which meant you could finally breathe. Even though whenever you heard her name your heart would break a little. It was a relief that you could go to school without having to force yourself not to look at her.
After a few months everything slowly got better, people no longer talked about you and because of that you finally decided to eat in the cafeteria again. Thankfully, everyone was now focused on Bella Swan and how she had run off to Italy to be with Edward. People theorized that they eloped or she was pregnant. But she was only gone for three days so unless it was some weird hybrid baby that theory was crossed off immediately. You should probably send her a fruit basket as a thank you for getting the attention off of you.
You grabbed some food and took a seat in a corner, away from everyone but that didn’t stop you from hearing whispers of a graduation party being thrown at the Cullen house and hosted by Alice Cullen. Apparently everyone was invited but you weren’t going to go. It would be too weird, you’d feel like a stalker and you were sure that Mr and Mrs Cullen would kick you out from what their children could’ve said about you. You were so tuned into your thoughts that you didn't notice a tiny person sitting next to you, followed by her boyfriend.
“Hi!” A pixie-like voice broke you from your thoughts, causing your brows to furrow as you looked between Alice and Jasper. What was with the Cullens breaking you from your thoughts? It was like they couldn’t allow you to think for too long. Maybe she knew something you didn’t.
“Hi?” You reply in question. You weren’t that special to have any of these god-like people talk to you. So why were they? Were they going to pull a Carrie on you and drench you in pig's blood? Were they going to make you think that they liked you before turning around and laughing in your face?
“I wanted to personally invite you to my graduation party and before you say no, please know that none of us think ill of you. I have a feeling we are going to be sisters!” She said it so surely, like she had seen it. You sat there speechless for a few seconds, mouth slightly open at what she said. “Please at least consider!” Alice reaches into her pocket and pulls out a piece of paper. “Here is our address, in case you decide to come.” She places the paper into your hands, closing your fingers around it and giving your hand a soft pat.
You didn’t even see her write it down, she had it stuffed in her pocket like she had prepared for this to happen. As if knowing what you would decide. “Bye!” Before you can utter a word, she and Jasper disappear. You stare at the piece of paper, gulping.
Your graduation came by the end of the week, a sad moment as you stared out into the crowd and no one stood, clapped or cheered for you when you received your diploma. You were truly alone, never seeing the golden eyes watching from outside, cheering you on silently that only her siblings could hear. Your head lowers and you walk off the stage, not even waiting for the ceremony to be finished. You head straight home, still wondering if you should go to this party since you’d probably be alone either way.
The worst kind of loneliness is when you are surrounded by people but you feel alone.
A few hours go by and by now the party has started, you’ve been having an internal battle with yourself. Your eyes drift over to a dress you had bought ages ago with only one woman in mind but you never got the chance to wear it. It just hung there, collecting dust. With a little push to yourself, you get up from your bed, what’s the worst that could happen? You quickly shower and make yourself smell amazing with some of your favourite lotions and perfume.
You slip into the dress, the material hugging your figure perfectly. You wore black tights underneath and a thick jacket with fur elegantly coming out of the holes. You head over to your mirror and apply a small amount of make-up, swiping a bold red lipstick against your plump lips. You straighten and stare at yourself, judging all of your flaws and you sigh. No matter how much you tried, you’d never be pretty enough. With a shake of your head, your soft styled curls brush against your cheeks.
You walk over to your knee high boots and slip them on, once you grab everything you need you leave, locking the door behind you. You get into your car and take off, driving to the Cullen house, trying to push all of your feelings away. You release a breath you didn’t know you were holding as you pull into their driveway, thanking whoever decided to build here for putting the large car space. From inside your car you can hear the music thumping, lights flashing and people hanging around and dancing. You turn your car off and step out, beginning to walk toward the house. Your eyes move around as you check out the place.
“Y/n! You made it!” You barely have time to register who it is as a tiny figure flies towards you and pulls you into a tight hug. Alice pulls back slightly and looks down, checking out your outfit. “Oh my god! This dress is beautiful! You look gorgeous!” She squeals, bouncing on her feet and thankfully not letting slip that she had already seen and knew who else would enjoy it. “Come, come! Some of us are hanging out in a different area of the party.” You look at her kind of shocked. Alice pulls you by your hand, the cold didn’t bother you. “Oh! Sorry, I had a feeling you wouldn’t want to be around the bigger, wilder crowd.”
You nod, appreciating the gesture. “Thank you.” You both arrive in a lounge room that was decorated the same as the other section where the party continues on. The only difference was there were fewer people, meaning you could move and breathe freely.
“Look who finally arrived!” Emmett yells, a large grin on his face.
“Hello, I hope I’m not too late.” Your hands lock together as you smile, but it feels so forced. You were so busy pushing all of your emotions back that you forgot how to act.
“You’re fine! Sit, sit! You’re right on time!” Emmett replies, so friendly that you feel as though you walked into a trap. Was this where they would kill you? “Don’t worry, we don’t bite.” It seemed like you missed the joke when a few of them chuckled.
“Emmett, shut up.” You knew that voice, you pushed harder against the wall holding your feelings inside. It felt like it was going to snap at any minute and you couldn’t have that. You didn’t know that Jasper could feel your struggle, making him look at you like he was in pain but it wasn’t his.
God, She’s gorgeous. No, shut up, Y/n. You can’t be thinking this, remember what Edward said. You don’t want to open that can of worms, you’ll only end up getting hurt. But she’s so beautiful and you were so fucked.
Edward could hear your internal struggle and from what he hears from Jasper, you weren’t just pushing your thoughts away. Maybe he messed up, he knew that he had when Rosalie threw him through a few trees when they got home. Jasper and Emmett had to literally use all of their strength to hold her back with how angry she was and even then there were foot marks from her pushing against them, he was lucky Carlisle got home when he did or he’d be a dead man.
You quickly look away, deciding that the floor looked more interesting. Maybe you shouldn’t have come, this was a bad idea. But before you could turn and run, a voice stopped you. “Y/n. Is it okay if we talk?” You’d think the voice belonged to an angel or a siren if you didn’t know the person attached to it. You lift your head slightly, ensuring she was talking to you even though she had already said your name. But how were you to know that it was you? For all you know, you could’ve begun to walk to her only for someone behind you with the same name to push past. Embarrassing you.
But when your eyes locked with hers, you knew there was no one behind you with the same name and with a small nod. You slowly walk toward her, your heart skipping as she puts her hand out, willing you to grab it and when you do. Oh god, you think your heart exploded. She gently pulls you along and outside, taking you a bit further from the house so no one could interrupt you, she leads you to a small clearing that has a log with a blanket over it and a perfect view of the moon, a few fairy lights hung from some of the trees. Like someone had set it up that way.
You sit when she does, knowing that the feelings and thoughts you were pushing back were no use, you had lost to them the moment your eyes met hers. “I’m sorry.” You weren’t expecting that, she spoke so softly, looking up at the moon like it was hard to look at you, but you didn’t know that if she looked at you, her frozen heart would hurt from the pain she’s caused you. “I put you through so much for no good reason. I made you think and feel horrible things about yourself because I was scared.”
You stay silent, scooting a tiny bit closer. Your heart warms when she grabs your hand gently. Rosalie finally turns to look at you and it was at this moment that she fully accepted the mate bond, she was stupid to think she could just forget you and move on. “I’ve lied about many things, kept secrets from you. But I don’t know if I can anymore. I want to try. But only if you want that as well.”
“I… I know I’d forgive you easily and that scares me too. Because I want to be angry with you, I–I don’t want to… I want to know everything so that I can understand and that hopefully we can start over. But for my sake, I need it to be slow so I don’t hate myself for forgiving you so easily.” You finally let it out, you knew that your heart had already forgiven her but your mind hadn't. Of course you wanted to try, especially if it was with her. You didn’t care about the lies and secrets, you probably should’ve, but somewhere deep inside it was as though something wouldn’t allow that. It was weird because you’ve had people lie to you in the past and you held a grudge over it forever. Yet, you couldn’t with her.
Rosalie had already spoken to her family about this, Alice having already known was ecstatic. She helped her sister prove to the family that this would be a good thing and that they’d no longer feel so broken and dark.
If Rosalie was human, she’d swear she would have a heart attack by how fast her heart would be beating. She’d probably be drenching her clothes with sweat as she prepares herself for this. “I will start from the beginning, I guess.” You nod, squeezing her hand softly to let her know that you were listening. “Emmett and I, we were never together. My family and I are different, so we tend to move around a lot and because of how we look, it sometimes attracts unwanted attention. So, we agreed to act together until we found…” She pauses, trying to find the right word. “Until we found the person meant for us. You may have noticed Alice is special, that she tends to know things before you’ve even thought about it. She saw you, before we moved here. She told me that you were human… I couldn’t handle it. I didn’t want to bring you into this world and I have spent so long keeping a distance from your kind, but I knew the moment I spoke to you that I’d never be able to let you go, not without giving us a chance and you a choice.” She seemed to choke up as she said the last part, as if she were dreading what your choice would be when the time came. She wouldn’t want you to lose you, wouldn’t want to watch you grow old while she stayed young as you died. But she also didn’t want you to become like her, stuck for eternity.
Your mind seemed to work overtime with how fast it was thinking. Human? Alice saw me? Your kind? What world? Choice? You weren’t going to interrupt, but you were confused. You knew they weren’t entirely human, because no human would look like how they did. But you never thought to dig deep, it wasn’t your secret to uncover.
Rosalie huffs, bringing herself out of her thoughts as her eyes focused back on the moon and you couldn’t help but think that she wore moonlight like lingerie. The next words took you out of your thoughts, though. “My family and I are vampires.” You guess this took the cake over the whole Emmett dilemma, it also explained why everyone laughed when he said they don't bite. You sat still though, watching her as she watched the moon.
“Our eyes have meaning of what kind of vampire we are. If they are red, it means that they feed on human blood. But if they are gold, like mine and my family. It means we feed on animal blood. You’d probably call us vegetarians in a sense.” You make an ah sound, not really meaning to but you couldn’t help it. Rosalie shakes her head, not really understanding how you could still be here. “You should be running scared, you should hate me. We are killers, Y/n. We have killed and we could kill you if an accident were to arise like with that human.” She sneers and you put together that the human she’s referring to would be Bella.
You squeeze her hand. “I don’t want to run. It probably sounds idiotic for a human to stay after hearing that the person they like is a vampire. But you don’t scare me, something inside of me tells me that you’d never harm me. For some reason you’ve made me feel safe and whole the moment we locked eyes. You might’ve been killers before, but I don’t think you’ll kill me because if you or your family were going to kill me or anyone else. You would’ve done it by now. Especially since you have me all alone.” You pout, not liking that her smile had left. “Plus, you aren’t really that special in the killing department. I’m sorry to tell you this, but. Magic can kill. Knives can kill. Even small children launched at great speed could kill.”
This was the second time you heard her laugh. Her head falls back as an angelic laugh falls from her lips, her luscious blonde hair resting against her back. You felt warm knowing you brought her smile back, an added bonus that her laugh followed.
You felt hypnotized as you watched her. “You have a nice laugh.”
She looks at you, happiness swirling in her eyes. “A nice laugh?” It felt good to be complimented, especially when it came from you. The air felt lighter, now that everything was out in the open.
“Mmhm.” You lean forward and tuck a stray hair behind her ear. “I like it.” She was still the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen, nothing could compare to the beauty in front of you. You turn away a bit, causing a frown to slowly appear on her face. “I can’t look at you…”
Rosalie hesitates, thinking that maybe this was where it would end. “Why not?” She never hesitates, never sounds so unsure of herself but you do that to her.
You turn back again, a subtle smirk on your lips. “Too pretty.” Rosalie huffs, hitting your arm softly as she laughs with playful anger. Unbelieving of how fast she had fallen.
Your eyes connect again, a spark igniting between you. “Did you think about me?” Her question so light, so quiet, so shy. So unlike her.
You blink, releasing a breath you had been holding. “Sometimes it felt like I thought about you every minute.” She moved closer, her hands slowly moving to rest gently on you. Her eyes flicker over your face, knowing that if she could dream it would be about you. About this. Her hand slowly moves up, cupping your cheek.
“Can I kiss you?” It was so quiet that you barely heard it, but you did. The question kept repeating over and over as you nodded.
“Yes.”
And with your permission, she crashed her soft cold lips against your plump warm ones. One hand resting on your cheek while the other rests on the back of your head, trying to bring you closer. Rosalie had never tasted something so sweet, so perfect. Your lips moved together, her tongue swiped across your bottom lip, gaining access, wanting to feel more of you, taste every bit of you. It felt as though you could finally breathe, that the missing puzzle piece was finally connected. You were her forever as she was yours.
Finally, fucking finally mine. They both thought.

Twilight Imagines- Embry Call
Imprint Mess
Tumblr media
[Masterlist]
Requested by: @justannadahfanfictor
Summary: In which Embry and [name] are best friends but lately Embry has been avoiding her. Paul notices how down [Name] is and offers up a distraction. She takes it and Embry finds out the next day.
I sit outside on my porch, thinking about something Paul said earlier. Lately Embry hasn't been talking to me much. I purse my lips, not knowing how to take what was offered to me just hours ago.
Normally Embry, Quill and I hang out together in the afternoon but this past week it's like he wants nothing to do with me. Bringing Quill with him. I'd like to say I'm unbothered by it but I am not. At all. And since that I've had such strong feelings for Embry for a long time now. He's all that's on my mind since we were 12 years old, a year after becoming friends.
Everyone seemed to know about it except for the boy himself. Or he recently found out and this is why he's avoiding me. "Hey, you out here just to mope?" My sister sits beside me and I look over at her. "I'm not moping." I shake my head, taking a drink out of her soda can she brought out here. "Mhm, that's why everyone has told me you're not joining the cookout tonight." She takes the can from my hand right as I was about to drink it again.
The cookout is mainly the wolf pack talking about things. They invite peoples partners and certain family members that know about it. I only know because of Seth and Leah turning. Then I found out how Paul and the others did too. Later on Embry did as well, he told me immediately. We talked all the time. I don't know why he's acting so different. I sigh. "I just don't feel up to being with everyone tonight." I lie, well partially.
"Ah, okay." Leah acts like she's about to drop it but instead she starts talking again. "Have you talked to Embry lately?" She asks me, I look over at her with a bored expression. Then it's like something clicks in her head. "Is he the reason you're not coming tonight?" She questions me, her body lifting up dramatically as if this is crazy information. I scrunch my face, shaking my head. "Leah, please leave me alone." I plead with her.
"You can talk to me, y'know." She says, standing up from her spot. "Thank you but I just need a second." I give a short smile and she gives me a sad one in response before heading back inside. I look out in the road. I see someone walking up to the house and I begin to stand up to go inside, going to grab at the door. Not wanting to deal with a social interaction. "Wait, [Name]. It's me." The voice calls after me, I turn around to see Paul. I huff, standing up straight and walking off the porch to talk to him.
"I was hoping I didn't scare you off with my offer. I heard you're weren't joining us tonight. I needed to make sure you were okay." He tells me, I shrug my shoulders, putting my hands in my back pockets. "I am fine. I needed time to think about everything."
"I didn't scare you off?" He tilts his head, I laugh. "No, you didn't. I just- I'm still stuck on Embry. I don't know. It's stupid." I look at the ground, just feeling dumb about everything. "[Name], I don't think it's stupid. Embry's an idiot for not realizing what he has." He tells me and I don't respond, not knowing what to say to that. "Let me distract you." He whispers and my heart begins to race. I glance back to my house then to him.
I think about how Embry has canceled on me. I think about how he has been avoiding me, not understanding why. Treating me like a bad friend. We aren't even together, we've never really flirted to begin with. He doesn't have feelings for me so what does it matter. I finally give Paul my eye contact. "Not here. My siblings are staying the night."
He smiles, taking my hand and we go to his truck. There was a weird tension between us. The ride was silent until I decided to make a move. Place my hand on his thigh and trailing up. I was focusing on what I was doing until he gripped my wrist before I could move any closer. "I'm going to have to pull this vehicle over to the side of the road if you don't stop." He warns me.
I don't listen, and he ends up pulling into the driveway and we don't get out.
And after that we go to his house and do the same thing. The next day was not even awkward. We agreed we didn't have feelings for one another, this was a one time thing. Just a distraction of things we were both dealing with.
I got all my stuff together, throwing it on and using the bathroom to check if I look decent. Paul had left already and I don't know exactly when. He just left a small note on the bed beside me. I exist the house and begin to walk. It's a 2 mile distance from my house. Which isn't bad and it's nice outside surprisingly.
I think about last night, how everything went down and all I feel is guilt. Like I did something wrong. I feel sick to my stomach and it won't go away. The entire 2 mile walk of shame was just me practically bullying myself about my decision. I don't necessarily regret it.
I finally get into the yard of my house, tiredly I go to sit on the porch before going inside. I hide my head in my hands. Sitting there for a while. "[Name]."
And I get deja vu. I look up to see Embry. I furrow my eyebrows as he comes up to me in anger. "What's your deal?" I ask him, not getting up from my spot. He stands in front of me. "You hooked up with Paul?!" He loudly asks me and my jaw drops. I shush him, looking back at the house to make sure my siblings weren't eavesdropping or something. "Excuse me?"
"You hooked up with Paul? Out of everyone? Why would you do that?" He questions me, I stand up on the first step of the porch, now being the same height as him. "I can do what I want Embry." I cross my arms.
He seems stunned for a moment. "It just seems out of nowhere. That's strange, I feel like you would've told me if you were interested in... someone like him." He is kind of talking to himself. Not looking me in the eyes. I let out an annoyed breath. "Embry, why are you here?" I ask him.
"I thought we were best friends and I have to find out in a weird way that you're hooking up with Lahote." He says, I laugh rolling my eyes. "Best friends? You have been avoiding me and canceling our plans nonstop these past two weeks. Making me feel like crap. Who cares if I didn't tell you I slept with someone? What does it matter?!" I yell at him, pointing a finger in his chest. I can't believe he would blow up like this. I figured he would find out but he has no right to be upset. I then feel weird, like I need to be closer to him.
"I haven't been avoiding you." He scoffs, my eyes widen. "Seriously? Anytime I join everyone you don't talk to me and when I go up to you, you make an excuse to leave. That's not avoiding someone?"
It grows quiet and I shake my head. "I'm going inside. When you decide not to come at me all weird come talk to me, Embry." I calmly tell him, turning around to walk to the house door. The thing is, I can't get myself to actually open the door. "Wait." He sighs. "Please."
"What now?" I irritatingly turn back to him.
"I have been avoiding you but it's because I've fallen too hard for you. I needed to think about my feelings. It was a lot. I knew you didn't feel the same way. It was rude of me to avoid you though." He explains himself and my heart sinks. "I came at you because I was mad, I mean obviously. I didn't know you and Paul had feelings for each other and it hurt." He looks at the ground, ashamed. I let out a small laugh.
"Paul and I do not have feelings for each other. We did a dumb thing that's for sure." I rub my lips together in embarrassment before I continue talking. "I like you a lot Embry I've had feelings for you since we were 12. It's been 9 years. Which is just embarrassing in its self. Paul knew about it. He offered a distraction and I took it." I shrug my shoulders.
"I'm not proud of it but it's already done and I can't take it back. You hurt me by the way you avoided me. I didn't understand what I did." I tell him.
"Yeah I'm sorry. I'm an idiot." He takes the steps up the porch. Both of us sit down together on my porch swing. "You are definitely one. But I think I am too. So it's okay." I smile, clasping my hands together. "You really have feelings for me?" He asks.
"Yeah, unfortunately." I joke. He nudges me with his elbow. "I don't know where this leaves us." I tell him earnestly. He nods his head, agreeing. "I still like you. I hope you still like me." He says.
"I do."
"I'll take you out on an actual date and we figure this out together?" He asks, we both look at each other at the same time and I crack into a smile. "Are you sure?" I grin at him. "Yes." He smiles back at me.
"I would love to." I pull him into a hug. "I've missed you so much." I admit. "I missed you too, I'm sorry." He pulls me closer to him.
After a little bit I pull back and I think for a moment. "Did you go off on Paul?"
He chuckles, "No I didn't, He was thinking about it while we were in our wolf forms. He apologized immediately. I didn't respond to him. I just left to find you." He rubs the back of his head.
"Dang, at least it wasn't a huge blow out."
"Yeah, I had some sort of control. I was just hurt. I mean it's now a little weird knowing... everything. Also I think I imprinted on you in our argument." He informs me and I furrow my eyebrows.
"Is that what this overwhelming feeling is?" I ask, pushing away from him. Not mad, just curious about this. "I think so." He smiles awkwardly.
"So we're stuck together for a while." I say. "Yeah, seems like it." He pulls me back into his arms.

Bound | Chapter 5
Tumblr media
Word Count: 2.3K Warnings: queer harassment
Summary: Rosalie always carried the resentment of not being able to fulfill the image of the perfect family she had in her head. But the universe had set out to grant her everything she could’ve hoped for in the most unconventional way and in the form of a witch. Can their love withstand the promise of forever or will Rosalie and (Y/N) succumb to the grapples of time?
A/N: oh, oh, I'm falling in love with a pairing that will not work out... I know I'm the writer, but, damn. I am breaking my own heart here. 🫠🫠 also, two chapters in one day, wow

Tumblr media
There would come a day when (Y/N) didn’t have Beatrice Porter by her side. There would come a day when she wouldn’t be able to roll over in her bed and find the onyx-black strands of her hair splayed over a pillow or kiss her eyelids as they fluttered in sleep. But in 1935, she didn’t know that.
In 1935, she still believed they had forever. At least as long as forever could be in their human lives. And because she didn’t know, she was able to live in the absolute bliss of being with her best friend.
As she brushed her hair out of the tight coil of the curlers she wore to bed, (Y/N) smiled at the sleeping figure of Bea on her bed. The sun had barely started to shine through the curtains, basking her pale body in the warm light of its rays. Her shoulders peeked through the white sheets, rising and falling with the evenness of her breaths. She was a vision of beauty that (Y/N) had been lucky enough to witness.
By the time the witch was putting on her earrings, Bea stirred from her slumber, a lazy smile tugging at her lips. “Good morning,” she croaked. “You look beautiful.”
“Hm, I was going for smart,” (Y/N) chuckled. “Is it the necklace or the hair?”
“It’s your face,” the girl smiled. “You could play hooky, you know. Spend the day with me rather than at the university.”
“A rather tempting offer,” she said as she walked toward the bed, crawling to Bea. “But I’m too close to graduating now. I’ve already had to argue with enough men who believe that higher education is no place for a woman.”
“Well, in that case, give them hell,” Bea smirked. “I suppose I should do my own studying then. I do have a test this week and have gone to three classes at the most. I just don’t see the point if I’m going to stay here. Magic doesn’t require human schooling.”
“But the coven does need to change with the times. We need to strive for better. For bigger,” (Y/N) explained. “Living in the woods is amazing, but it keeps us secluded. Alienated. We need to find ways to blend in with society. Hide in plain sight. That’s the key to survival.”
“You’ve always had great plans for the coven. You will make a wonderful High Priestess one day.”
“One can only hope,” she sighed contentedly. “But for now, I can do my part in gaining more knowledge of how the outside world works. Find a way witches and other supernaturals can live amongst humans undetected. There may not be as many, but you know there are still people out there that hunt our kind. I mean, just last week, we received word of a coven in Louisiana being burnt down by so-called Modern Witch Hunters. We’ve learned to hide, but clearly not well enough.”
“Cruelty will always be an incurable sickness in humans,” Bea grumbled. “People in high school taught us that early on.”
The memory made (Y/N) grimace. They hadn’t done anything wrong. Stood by their respective lockers, the two girls had simply been talking and decided to sneak a soft caress. (Y/N) had only brushed a stray ringlet of hair that had fallen over Bea’s eyes. But her fingers had lingered too long, and their stare was a little too intense. A pair of boys had been walking down the hallways at that precise moment and had decided that what the girls were doing was too queer for their liking.
Deeming (Y/N) as the instigator, they had snatched her and carried her to the nearest dumpster while calling her a slew of slurs and insults. All this while Bea cried and begged them to stop. It took everything in them both not to use their powers, knowing the punishment for using magic with humans was magic binding for an undetermined amount of time.
As the lid closed above her and the smell of trash engulfed her, (Y/N) promised never to show an ounce of affection to her friend outside of the protective confines of their coven. There, no one questioned or talked in whispers –although some eyes did follow them at times. But it was nothing like the treatment they endured outside. A couple of stares here and there was nothing like finding dead animals stuffed in your locker, or being unable to walk down the street without being accompanied by a big enough group, or having to stay as far away from your best friend as possible because you don’t know who will attack you for what they believe.
“You know, Annabeth is leaving in July,” Bea said, changing the topic as she saw how it upset (Y/N). “She was accepted to the University of Tennessee. She says there’s something about the state that calls to her, but I don’t understand why she would go so far. There are enough good schools nearby.”
“Well, she’s setting her own path,” (Y/N) smiled, brushing a strand of hair behind Bea’s ear. “Your sister has always been quite the free spirit.”
“That she is,” she chuckled. “Momma is going with her to help her settle in and everything. She also wants to make sure she’s comfortable with the coven over there.”
“Would you go with her if she asked?”
“And leave you up here all alone?” the girl scoffed. “Wouldn’t even think about it for a second.”
“All you’d need is a big enough body of water, and you could come here anytime.”
“Are you suggesting that I leave, (Y/N) Carmine? Do you not want me here?”
“Oh please, don’t even say that. But she is your sister, Bea,” (Y/N) laughed. “You could at least pretend to ponder over the idea. Your family has always been so close-knit.”
“She’d understand,” Bea shrugged with a mischievous smile. “I’ve got something special here.”
“You’re bad,” she grinned before kissing the girl’s temple. “And I’m going to be late.”
“Fine,” Bea conceded. “I’ll let you go as long as you bring me some doughnuts.”
“Of course. I wouldn’t dare come home without them.”
“Good,” she beamed. “Then, I guess you can go.”
It was simplicities such as those that (Y/N) reveled in. She may not have been allowed to hold Bea’s hand in public or even say how much she loved her, but she had their home. Behind those four walls, they were able to simply exist. No labels to concern themselves with, no judgment, and certainly no harassment.
As the day trickled by and class after class passed, (Y/N) couldn’t help but have her mind divided between her education and the girl waiting for her at home. Everything reminded her of Bea. The black fabric of the chairs she sat on was the same color as her hair, the blue of the sky matched perfectly with the iciness of her eyes, and the smell of the town’s bakery reminded her of the girl’s favorite treat.
There was nowhere she could turn that didn’t remind her of Beatrice, and there was no one on Earth she could love more than her… at least, that’s what she believed at that moment. By then, she had no idea her soul was bound to an immortal, nor that her life would go on after Bea passed one day. At that moment, she knew only of the fleetingness of life and the importance of living in the present. There was no way for her to know how fleeting those moments were when eternity came into play.
For now, she enjoyed every second she had in the life she believed was passing.
She was coming out of the bakery when she was met with Russell Morgan, a witch from their coven who had always been kind and concerned over her and Bea. She knew he’d always had his eye on Beatrice, leaving flowers and trinkets on their porch for her. Though he understood the relationship the girls shared, he couldn’t help the affinity he held for the young witch. And none of it bothered (Y/N). Bea had made her choice, and it had been her.
“Hello, Russ,” she smiled as he matched her pace, knowing he was escorting her home without mentioning it. “How was your day today?”
“Can’t complain,” he chuckled. “Just making it through this last semester. Hoping I hear back from med school any day now. That’s been the most stressful thing.”
“I’m sure you’ll get in,” she said. “You’re brilliant, Russ. They’d be lucky to have you. And you know New Forest witches seem to do well in medical school.”
“Well, we do have a certain je ne sais quoi,” he laughed. “And, uh, how’s Bea been recently? I haven’t seen her as much in lessons.”
“You know her. Most days, she doesn’t even want to get out of bed,” she smiled. “But I’ve already made a deal with her. For every day that she attends lessons, I’ll bring her a new pastry from the bakery.”
“That will definitely get her there,” Russell chuckled. “And Margaret won’t be angry at her.”
“Oh, Margaret’s a big softie at heart.”
“She really is. And uh, are you two still…”
(Y/N) knew he wouldn’t get the words out. He never did. “Yes. Bea and I are still,” she chuckled softly. “Don’t think that’s changing any time soon.”
“Well, not that I’m not happy for you two, but a man can only hope,” he said as his cheeks grew red in slight embarrassment. She knew he meant nothing by it and also understood the pull Bea held. “I do hope for you years of happiness. Even if the world hasn’t caught up to different kinds of love.”
“I know, Russ. And I am grateful for your wishes and your friendship. I know one day you’ll meet a woman as wonderful as you.”
“I sure hope so. Mom is on me about giving her grandkids already. Apparently, the two kids my sister has already given her are not enough.”
“No amount will ever be enough,” she laughed. “But she might be closer than you think, Russ.”
And neither of them had any idea how true the statement was.
Back at the house, the smell of fresh bread and beef stew filled the air. The scent alone made (Y/N)’s stomach grumble, knowing the flavor would be even better than the smell. The dinner table was already set, complete with a set of flickering candles.
“What’s the occasion?” (Y/N) smiled as she kissed Bea’s cheek. “Everything looks so beautiful.”
“Do we need an occasion to have a candle-lit dinner?” Bea said. “I just felt like it. Especially since you brought me some of my favorite doughnuts.”
“Maybe I should bring you doughnuts every day.”
“I wouldn’t be opposed to that,” she grinned. “And if they’re sugar doughnuts, even better.”
“Do you really think I’d bring you any others?”
“Better not,” she laughed. “But I just wanted to do something nice for you. Because I love you, and you deserve it.”
“You’re the best, Bea,” (Y/N) beamed. “I love you more than the moon loves the sun.”
With a flick of her hand, music filled the kitchen, and their bodies swayed to the rhythm that played through the radio. They swirled through the room, forgetting the stew that bubbled on the stove and the candles that were melting on the table. But they didn’t care. All they cared about was the fact that they were happy, they were healthy, and they were together. They filled a house with love and joy, and that seemed enough.
“Do you think there will ever be a way we could have kids?” Bea asked absentmindedly. “I know it couldn’t really happen naturally. But maybe adopting.”
“I don’t think that could happen, Bea,” (Y/N) sighed. “At least not us together or even as single women living together. The world isn’t ready for that, darling.”
“Oh, what a tragedy,” she sighed. “You would be a great mother.”
“As would you, Beatrice,” the witch smiled sadly. “Is that something you really want? Children, I mean.”
“Well, it had always been my dream to have a big family. Little ones running around, a home, someone to grow old with,” she admitted. “I just thought it was the normal way life would move toward.”
“But I can’t give you all of that, Bea,” (Y/N) sniffled. She stopped their swaying and rested her forehead against Bea’s, a thin stream of tears falling down her eyes. “I can’t give you everything you’ve dreamed of.”
“Well, darling, I don’t want any of that if it’s not with you,” she assured. “I am perfectly content with just having you for the rest of my life.”
“I want you to have everything you’ve ever dreamed of, Beatrice. I don’t want you to settle just for love. What if, one day, you wake up and realize that love isn’t enough for you? That kids and marriage is what you wanted all along.”
Bea smiled warmly then, cradling (Y/N)’s face and wiping away the tears that stained her cheeks. “And what makes you think that your love is not enough?” she cooed. “I would wait a thousand years if it meant I got to live my life with you. Children are never a sure thing. Even if I married a man, there is no certainty that I could fall pregnant. But, with you, I know there is love. That is certain, and that is what I need.”
She sealed her words with a chaste kiss to (Y/N)’s lips, slipping through her mouth all the love she felt for her best friend. It was a promise of a future together, a promise of forever. But how could they have known that forever would not have been long enough? That the end of their forever was just around the corner.
“Now, why don’t we sit and eat already?” Beatrice smiled.”I’m starving.”
“Alright then,” (Y/N) said. “Let’s eat, and cheers to forever then.”
“Cheers to forever.”

It’s You❤️‍🔥
Summary: You went along with Bella to Italy to save Edward, but when you get there things go unexpectedly and you become mate to the strongest Volturi guard
Pairing: Felix x human female reader
•Masterlist•
Tumblr media
Moving into your uncles house a year ago to help him with daily chores and just keeping him company was a nice change from the hot dry weather I was use to when I lived with my mom before she passed, another reason Charlie had to take me in which I was incredibly grateful for, then a few months after I moved in my cousin Bella moved back from Arizona and she became very secretive, I swear some nights I’d hear two voices coming through our shared wall, whenever I tried to question her about it but she’d always brush me off just saying she was up late talking to her mom on the phone
Eventually I got fed up with all the secrets and the way she was treating me like I wasn’t even in her life, so on a rare sunny day I decided to go over to the cullens house, basically Bella’s second home, I pulled up into the drive way amazed by how gorgeous this house was, sure Carlisle was a doctor but this had to be old money to get a house like this around this area
I got out of my old car and knocked three times against the door, after a while and a few faint angry whispers Bella finally opened the door which I find odd since this isn’t her house
“Y/n what are you doing here? You shouldn’t be here”
“I’ve had enough of the secrets and how you’ve treated me, we’re family Bella and I’m alone here I just want to be close again like we were as kids”
“Well we’re not kids anymore y/n I have my own life” she said a hint of anger laced with worry in her voice
“I’m not asking for your attention 24/7 I just want a friend” I said upset as I fiddled with my fingers
“Okay im sorry im just stressed, ill make a better effort”
And after that we spent a bit more time together, then Edward left, him and his whole family just up and left leaving Bella in a deep despair, her sorrowful shrieking screams at night draining me and Charlie, and the worst was I didn’t know how to help, I tried getting her out of the house or even just sitting in the living room with her to keep her company but I could still see how broken she was
After months and her seeing Jacob she slowly started to get better, one night I was up in my room reading when a commotion broke out downstairs, I ran down seeing Bella, Jake and Alice arguing in the kitchen
“What the hell is going on?” But before anyone answered Alice spoke
“Bella it’s Edward, Rosalie told him why I came, he thinks he’s dead, he wants to die too” everything was moving so fast, Bella and Alice were running out to her car and I was still in the dark with everything
“Bella what’s going on you’re scaring me” I said looking through the car window
“I can’t explain I have to go”
“Well you’re not going without me, I’ve stuck with you through this and I’m not leaving now” I said matter of factly hopping in the back, Alice gave Bella a wary look before she speed off to the airport, having no clue where we were going until we landed, when Alice finally told me we were in Italy, the scenery zooming past as she drove through town after town until we came upon a old castle town, swerving through a crowd all dressed in robes, Bella went running off and Alice found somewhere to park as we too started making our way through the crowd on foot now
“Alice you still haven’t told me what’s going on” she gave me a gentle smile as we came upon the castle
“You’ll find out soon enough, all I can say is that your life is about to change” her words sent nervous butterflies fluttering in my belly
With what must have been a surge of adrenaline Alice broke the lock on the castle door and we entered feeling the cold air breeze over me, cooling me down from the hot Italian heat
Seeing Edward with Bella and he looked dreadful and just behind them a shorter blonde man with piercing ruby red eyes, accompanied by a very tall man and as my eyes gazed over his body from his feet all the way up to his eyes my world stopped, I felt this pull to him like I’ve never felt before, a man I don’t know had this hold on me that I never wanted to get out of, our eyes never looking away from eachother until a smaller girl broke our trance
“Aro sent me to see what was taking so long”
“I won’t be needing your assistance anymore”
“Never the less aro would like a word”
Alice squeezed my shoulder reassuringly as we all followed the blonde girl into a now crammed elevator, with the lack of space my back was pressed up against the tall beautiful man with the ruby eyes
As my adrenaline finally faded away I was left with the realization that I have no idea what I’ve gotten myself into, Alice’s super strength, the ruby eyes of the strangers around me, the secrecy , it was finally scaring me feeling my heart beat so hard I could hear it and if on air a big hand gently rubbed up and down my back slowly settling my nerves, normally having a strange man touch me would have me running for the hills but there was just something about this ethereal man that I don’t even know the name of, that soothed my soul, like nothing bad could ever happen as long as I’m by his side
The elevator stopped with a ding, opening to reveal a long stone hallway with torches perched on the walls, giving a very eerie vibe to the whole situation, his hand still on my lower back leading me in the direction everyone else was walking til we got to these big doors that his touch went away making me whine for some reason
The little blonde girl pushed open the huge doors effortlessly to show a gorgeous marble room with three thrones with three men sat upon them
“Sister they send you out for two and you come back with two and a two half’s” a younger guy said as the blonde girl went and stood by his side
“Ahhhh Bella is alive fantastic” on of the three men stated standing infront of us
“And who is this?” He said glancing at me with those similar ruby eyes
“It seems one of our family has found their mate” the other glum man said
“What? Mate? What do you mean? Please just someone tell me what is happening” I asked overwhelmed as my bottom lip wobbled
“Oh dear…..may I?” The enthusiastic man asked as he held out his hand
Confused but I placed mine in his as he stared deep into my eyes
“It seems this beautiful girl doesn’t know a thing about us, she merely came to support her cousin”
“Felix how about you take her to your room and explain everything as we deal with this situation here”
“Yes master” his hand was on my back again as he led me out of the room back into the hallway
“Felix…..I like that name” his name sounded nice, sounded right, he looked down at me with the most loving look I could have ever seen
“And what might your name be mio amore?”
“Y/n…I’m y/n”
“Beautiful, a beautiful name for the most beautiful girl” I’ve never been treated like this before and it had my heart soaring
Finally we made it to a wonderful spacious room, the ceiling high, brown stone walls with red and black accent decor, with a glamorous bed in the corner with red silk sheets
“Sit my darling” he said gesturing to the bed so we sat face to face, he gently took my hands in his like I was made of glass
“What did he mean? Am I your mate? And what does that mean?”
“I’m surprised you haven’t figured it out but……we are vampires and so are the cullens, vampires have mates and some of us are lucky enough to find them, we’d do anything for our mates like I’ll do anything for you, to make you happy and safe”
His words had me frozen……vampires were real? And I’m mated to one, a gorgeous one at that but still this was all so much
“This…..this is a lot to handle Felix, I mean this is all so new to me I’ve never had a relationship before and definitely not with a vampire, sure you’re extremely handsome but I still don’t know what to do” his smile softened then slowly turned into a smirk
“You think I’m handsome little one?” He asked tucking a strand of hair behind my ear making the blood rush to my cheeks
“Of course anyone with eyes can see that”
“You never have to be worried with me, we can take this slowly, I’ve waited forever for you amore, I can wait a little longer until you’re comfortable” his hand caressing my cheek
I felt more relaxed at his words
“So what now? Do I have to go back to forks? If I do we will never see eachother” my heart clenched at the thought
“If your heart desires you can stay here, but only if that’s what you want, because I know my heart couldn’t handle us being apart, but it’s whatever you want tessoro”
“I……I want to be with you Felix, please”
“Then you will stay with my little one” I had the answer to Alice’s words, my life was going to change but all for the better

Could you write something about jasper x reader where he’s jealous of how close she is with Emmitt and he eventually snaps and they fight over her ?
𝕵𝖆𝖘𝖕𝖊𝖗 𝕳𝖆𝖑𝖊
Reader loves jasper rpmantically, and loves emmett platonically. emmett's like a brother
Jasper watches you from the other side of the room, sat so peacefully with a book in your hands. A single finger card through the pages, finding the text to turn. And yet, before it could fully begin the moment was shattered once again.
A pillow crashes itself into your face and your book is sufficiently gripped in Emmett's hand and held above his head. The only noise to leave you as a small squeal of surprise from the impact before you erupt into boisterous laughter. "Emmett you doof! Gimme back the book" you laugh, indulging him with a pitifully human jab to the chest.
The amber of jasper eyes darkens into a more hazel brown as his irritation grows, watching you two play fight and laugh once again. Rosalie huffs with a small smile from her seat, genuinely amused by your antics. Jasper isn't. It only takes him half a minute to snap, a bellowing "enough!" ripping it's way out of his throat before he can even think. Moreover, he's ended up in a precarious situation with his hand around Emmett's throat.
Your book hits the floor.
Pin drop silence.
One beat passes, and then another until he looks at your face. Your mouth slightly agape, eyes wider than before, but more noticeable your heartbeat is racing. Jasper doesn't need his gift to know that he just scared you, though startled would be a better fit as a work.
"C'mon now Jas, we're done now" You happen to be the first to speak, ignoring how Rosalie appears at your side and takes her lovers face when your Jasper drops him. "Take me home?" Your voice is smooth, steady, and has a calming effect on him. He doesn't speak when you step away, he know to meet you at his car.
The drive back is silent on his behalf, more so than usual. But you seem to have no trouble keeping the atmosphere alive and filling it with chatter like always. It's only when he pulls up and parks that you take a minute to be quiet.
"...Hey Jas?" you dont wait for a response before you continue. "It's okay to be jealous, but i need you to let me know. I figured that i'm gonna marry you one day, and so i may as well get on with your family too. I love Emmett as a brother, you know that baby, right?"
Fiddling with his hand in yours, you watch as he sighs in acceptance and a small smile makes its way to his face. "I know." He lifts your hand to his lips and presses a gentle kiss to the back.
"So you're gonna marry me one day, darlin'?"

“Stop.” Edward said, watching you plainly.
Currently you were practically skipping on and off the border line of the werewolves territory and the Cullens territory. Edwards' tone kinda upset you. You were only trying to lighten the mood because ever since you got into the car his energy was just off. Seth had called you saying he wanted to hang out so you asked Edward to drive you because bella being the blood daughter got the car and you got a maybe next year. Downsides of being adopted.
You were standing at the border because the rest of your mates wanted to talk to you before you went to hang out with Seth. They liked Seth so you didn’t understand why they just couldn’t wait to talk to you later.
But they said they couldn’t wait that long. You thought about it and the only times they've acted like this is when they're about to surprise you with something. Or if they feel like they hadn’t been treated fairly as in quality time. And last you check you’ve spent equal time with them all separately and together. So it wasn’t that so it had to be a surprise right?
“Are you in one of your emo moods right now?” You asked genuinely curious. That seemed to only upset him more because he didn’t talk the whole time until the rest of your mates arrived.
It didn’t take them as long as you thought that it would. You thought they were gonna drive in their cars like Edward did but they didn’t. They walked or ran or whatever. Edward made you get back into the car while you were waiting because it started raining. Of course It was still raining when they arrived, it's Forks after all. But that didn’t stop you from smiling and getting out of the car when you saw the rest of your loves. Hopefully you could sneak some more insight on why Edward was in a pissy mood.
The closer they got to the car the more you practically bounced with excitement. You had missed them even though you saw them only two days ago. Too long according to the beat in your heart. As you tapped your feet in the rain puddles you couldn’t help yourself from letting out a squeal of excitement. Running up to the closest person you could reach. That being Jasper, you jumped in his arms. The sound of the car door opening and closing fell numb to your ears. And sadly so did the sound of the car driving away.
The sound of thunder rang through your ears making you jump, scaring you a little. But something you noticed didn’t happen was the feeling of that fear going away immediately. It stayed. Jasper always felt like home but something was wrong. Something was different.
“You didn’t wrap your arms around me?” You said furrowing your eyebrows. Looking at Jasper you watched as the rain melted his hair against his face. His beautiful wet curls dripped with the wetness of rain. You would eat him right here right now if he wasn’t being so strange right now.
He didn’t answer, he just stepped back away from you. You shifted your eyes behind him to look at the rest of your mates. Rose was clinging onto Emmett’s arm next to Rose was Carlisle and Esme then there was Edward.
“Wasn’t Alice just here? Wait a minute, where's the car?” You asked, looking around in confusion. When you turned around there was no car, just an empty wet road. Something was totally wrong.
“What’s going on?” You questioned. It took a while for anyone to say a thing. Just when you were about to repeat yourself Carlisle spoke up.
“We need to talk.” He said.
“Well I knew that much dummy, But why couldn’t we just talk later? It’s raining and I’m supposed to be hanging out with Seth.” You said with a soft smile trying to ease your nerves. You don’t remember the last time you did this by yourself all on your own. Jasper would always be there to ease your feelings or stress. Even though you would say no he’d never listen. He would always catch a rise in your stress before you did and calm you down.
“We're leaving.” Carlisle said. You noticed that his hair took a little longer to melt against his face unlike Jasper.
“Ooo okay where are we going this time, tokyo? I’ve always wanted to-” You said getting excited again but you were quickly cut off by Esme.
“Without you.” She said looking at you for a little then she turned her head away. Her statement made the smile drop from your face as quickly as it came.
“What? What do you mean? How long are you going to be gone?” You questioned with your eyes shifting in between your six mates. This felt all so sudden, what happened in those two days you weren’t together?
“Forever. There’s nothing here for us in Forks anymore.” Emmet said breaking your heart with every single word.
“But I’m here..” You said as your voice cracked mid sentence. You could feel the knot in your stomach get tight and tighter. You didn’t know how to handle this. So you did the only thing you know how to do. You turned to Jasper.
“Jasper s-stop it! Tell me this is all just a big cruel joke and you're not leaving, You're not leaving me.” You practically begged. Walking towards him you moved your hands up to touch him but he brushed you off. He pushed your hands away so swiftly and he stared you in your eyes. They were cold. No emotion was found. You tried your best to find something, anything. But there was nothing found.
“I don’t love you, I never did. I ask that you please refrain from touching me.” Jasper said sternly. Your heart dropped lower and lower with every word that fell from his mouth.
“Stop lying! I know for a fact that you're all in love with me. So much that your cold dead hearts beat for me!” You yelled out as you wiped the rain and tears from your eyes.
“We have no reason to lie. It wouldn’t bring any gain on our end to lie.” Edward said plainly as if this was all a fact.
“You were just a family pet. Why would we ever associate ourselves with a useless human as yourself? You can’t even control your own emotions. You forget to even feed yourself. What simple creature does that? You struggle to speak simple words, you can’t comprehend anything. And you cling onto us like we're a free ticket out of here. We’ve never loved you. We’ve never even wanted you.” Rosailse said, making the first tear drop down your cheek. You bit your bottom lip hard in attempts to prevent yourself from full on crying.
“Rose and I just thought why not join in on the family fun for once? We always kept to ourselves and now I understand why, you weren’t much fun to play with in the first place. We're done.” Emmett said and before you could say another thing they were gone.
“W-wait!” You coughed out as a steady stream of tears ran down your face mixing with the rain.
“I will say you spiced up me and Carlisle’s marriage a little bit. But you were never enough. Seeing how young you are, you should’ve known that you were never going to be more than just a temporary toy for us.”  Esme said, grabbing Carlisle's hand. Your eyes couldn’t help but shift down to her action. The simple action of touch pained your heart so much you couldn’t stop the sound of your cry coming out your mouth.
“Forget about us. Move on. It will be best for you if you did so. You meant nothing to us. I’m sorry I let it go on this long.” Carlisle said, gripping onto Esme's hands. And just when you took a step towards them they were gone.
“No no no-” You were cut off by a gasp of your own. You felt like you couldn’t breathe. It hurt. It hurt so bad. You felt like your soul had been shattered into a thousand grains of sand that would never be made into a beautiful beach again. You felt like you’ve just turned into a dry desert.
“It hurts Jasper, it hurts.” You cried out. You were sure your eyes were bloodshot red right now. The mix of tears and rain was not a good combination.
“You should have never gotten attached. It took everything in me not to just drain you dry of your blood but I couldn’t. So I chose the next best thing. It wasn’t as good as it would’ve been if I had just killed you when we met.” Jasper said with his thick southern accent. Normally you would jump with joy or giggle when he talked to you but you felt worse than hurt right now. You didn’t think this could get any worse. But as he took one more look at you he frowned like you were just the most dissecting thing he's ever seen.
“Pathetic.” And then he was gone.
You turned to Edward and walked up to him. And in the few steps it took to get to him you felt the anger flood through your veins.
“Is this why you were acting like such a bitch? You knew?! Why didn’t you tell me? Why couldn’t you give me just that one effort of decency!? Why don’t you love me?!” You yelled at him as a strike of lightning struck you couldn’t even find yourself to get scared.
“You wouldn’t stop prying, why wouldn’t I give in and have a little fun? I told you I was a monster. You insisted on otherwise why wouldn’t I tell you a lesson? It seems that was the only way you could learn.” He said slowly tucking a piece of your hair behind your ear.
“Hopefully you’ve learned your lesson to not trust a vampire especially when they warn you that they are soulless.” And then he too was gone.
Staring in the spot they all stood previously you felt your breathing pick up. You couldn’t help yourself but to cry harder. The pain in your heart was something you knew would never go away. No one ever forgets their first love and somehow they all were your first. Though you were crying, all you felt was numbness. The freezing rain was nothing compared to what you were feeling inside. You dropped down and laid on the hard tar road. The sound of the rain pounding against the ground was a constant reminder of what just happened.
You used to love rain. Now you think you hate it. It’s supposed to wash away all the bad and replace it with all the good it could possibly give. But what good could possibly come out of this? You don’t know how long you laid there all you knew was when you opened your eyes there Seth was. What was he doing here? Your vision was cloudy and everything sounded muffled. You were moving? Wait what was going on? You turned your head and squinted when you were faced by blue and red lights.
You tried moving your arm and doing so you let out a scream of pain. What the hell happened? What happened? Oh my god! You thought. Wait, were these your thoughts? What's going on?
“What happened?!” Charlie yelled out rushing to Seth.
“W-we need a doctor, a hospital! She got hit by a car it- the car it crashed into a tree. I don't think the people in it are okay, I think she- they-.” Seth was cut off by Sam’s voice. Seth was panicking but he knew he had to come here first Sam said so.
“We found her! She was in the woods.” Sam said, walking up to Charlie.
“Is she okay?! Where is Carlisle? I need to call him.” Charlie said. He was overwhelmed and didn’t know who needed his attention more.
“Didn’t you hear? The Cullens, they're gone.” Billy said, rolling up to see what was happening.
“Call the police.” Charlie said.
“You’re the Sheriff sir. Please hurry up, she needs a doctor!” Seth said trying not to freak out but Charlie was doing the same except he was in shock.
“I- Put her in my car. I’ll take her.” He commanded. Seth followed his instructions.
The rain still fell and that was all you knew. The one thing that came to your head and the only thing that came to you was.
What good would this bring?

Tension filled the air as Bella confronted the newfound presence of (Y/n) in Edward's life. She blinked in disbelief, her voice quivering as she stammered, "My love? Since when did this happen?"
Edward, sensing the impending storm, attempted to walk away with (Y/n) and even gestured for her to go inside. But (Y/n) was resolute and didn't budge. She glared at Bella, her voice dripping with ice, as she asked, "Who are you?"
Bella retorted, her tone growing defensive, "I'm Edward's girlfriend, and who are you?"
(Y/n) didn't waste a moment, showing off her ring with a fiery glare. "I'm his wife."
Bella's eyes widened in shock at the revelation. The words hung heavily in the air, and she was momentarily at a loss for words. She looked to Edward for help, but he maintained a blank expression.
Sensing Bella's vulnerability, (Y/n) couldn't contain her anger any longer. She stepped forward, poking Bella's chest with each word, her voice seething with righteous fury. "You've got some nerve showing your face around here. You made your grave; now lay in it."
Without waiting for a response, (Y/n) turned away from Bella and walked over to her husband, Edward. She looked deep into his eyes, her love and passion evident, and then, she pulled him into a long, passionate kiss. It was a declaration of their bond and a clear message to Bella that she was no longer a part of Edward's life. Bella watched them with a mixture of jealousy and regret, realizing that she had lost Edward. But she wasn’t one to give up easily. With a huff she yanks over her car door looking back at the couple, “I’ll be back later Edward,” and with a slam of the door she pulls out of the Cullen’s drive way.
Emmett the ever so innocent “viewer” in all this snorts, “Women am I right?!”
Inside the house, (Y/n) had stormed in, seething with anger and frustration. She couldn't believe that Bella had shown up and disrupted the peace she and Edward had found together. She muttered to herself, unaware of the growing intensity of her emotions.
"How could that wench come here and think all would be fine and dandy?" (Y/n) ranted, her voice filled with exasperation.
Unbeknownst to her, the lights in the house began to flicker erratically. The others in the room exchanged puzzled glances, noticing the unusual phenomenon. Emmett, always one to comment on such things, blurted out, "Yo, what's up with the lights?"
Edward, realizing that it was (Y/n)'s powers reacting to her emotional turmoil, excused himself and made his way to where she was venting her frustrations. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder and whispered soothing words, "Love, it's going to be okay. Please, try to calm down. Your powers are reacting to your emotions."
(Y/n) took a deep breath, her anger gradually subsiding as she focused on Edward's calming presence. The lights in the house gradually steadied, no longer flickering. She turned to him, her eyes filled with remorse for causing such a disturbance.
Edward reassured her, "It's alright, my love. We'll figure this out together. Bella is no longer a part of my life, and you are the one I choose to be with. I love you."
(Y/n) nodded, her anger giving way to a sense of relief and the warmth of Edward's love. They held each other close, finding solace in their bond, and slowly the tension in the house began to dissipate.
As Edward held (Y/n) close against his chest, her anger continued to simmer. She mumbled softly, her voice filled with frustration, "I just don't like it. How can she come back here thinking she would be welcomed with open arms? After hurting you? After unknowingly hurting your family?"
Edward kissed her forehead gently, trying to offer reassurance. "It's okay, my love. We'll work through this."
But (Y/n) couldn't contain her anger any longer. Her emotions surged, and as she shouted in frustration, a light bulb above them suddenly burst, scattering glass fragments on the floor.
Startled by the sudden noise, Alice, who had been observing the situation from the doorway, took a step back. She glanced at the shattered light bulb and then at the two of them, her eyes wide with surprise. With an uncertain smile, she said, "I'll just come back later," and quickly walked away, leaving Edward and (Y/n) alone to deal with the aftermath of this emotional exchange.
As (Y/n) pulled back from their embrace, her guilt about scaring Alice was evident in her eyes. She whispered, "Oh no, I scared Alice. I have to go apologize."
Edward gently placed a hand on her shoulder to stop her. "No, what you need to do is calm down, love. Alice will be fine. She's a vampire, remember?"
(Y/n) wasn't easily consoled. She replied, "That doesn't mean I didn't frighten her, supernatural being or not."
Edward couldn't help but chuckle, his laughter resonating in the room. "That's what I love about you, my dear."
(Y/n) playfully smacked his shoulder, her worry still evident. "This isn't a laughing matter, Edward. I used my powers unconsciously, and look, I even broke that poor, innocent light bulb."
Edward continued to chuckle, the sound of his laughter filling the room. "You're right, love, but it's just a light bulb. We can replace it. Besides, I’m sure Alice will understand.”
(Y/n) sighed, unable to resist a smile at her husband's laughter and reassurance. She realized that even in moments of turmoil, his presence had a way of calming her, and she felt grateful for the love they shared.
