I made this for DougDoug’s annual Rosa/Monterey Bay Aquarium stream in honor of Rosa the sea otter (and realized I never actually posted it anywhere else). Inspired by Elaine Hagenberg’s “Measure Me Sky,” this piece depicts Rosa’s spirit guiding her 15 surrogate otter pups from beyond the stars.
