once again stealing the whole "answering headcanon memes from memes i haven't been sent" from @florietiae because i love it <3
does your muse have freckles? if so, where are they placed? does your muse like their freckles, or wish they had some? ( x )
yes, and they're very obvious lmao. he definitely has full body freckles, but they're most prominent on his back, shoulders, thighs, and across his cheeks + nose. he generally doesn't care one way or the other that he has them, but he is not immune to either A. being made to feel embarrassed abt them if someone's a dick toward him, or B. getting flustered if someone says they likes them
is your muse a morning person or a night person? ( x )
night person ( are we surprised? ) both for Getting Into Trouble reasons when he's a teen and just in general. despite the aforementioned trouble, he actually finds nighttime relaxing and enjoys staying up late, particularly with company. however, sometimes his thoughts can get a little loud at night when he's alone. still, he is so not a morning person. good luck getting him to get out of bed in the morning lmao
does your muse believe people are innately good or innately bad? why do they believe this? ( x )
oh, he definitely believes most people are innately bad. eventually ( late 20's-30's ) he probably challenges this view, but not before then. between his parents, himself, and the people he chooses to surround himself with ( oops sorry michael, phoebe, and jeff ), he just. . . doesn't really have reason to think otherwise. don't get me wrong, boy lives in CRAZY cognitive dissonance when it comes to michael ( "i get to see the good, affectionate, softer side of him which means he's a good guy even if he beats the shit out of people and also bullies his brother for no discernable ( to rory ) reason" ) but UHHHHHH that doesn't last for, like. obvious reasons.
like genuinely how do i explain that he falls for michael, convinces himself that michael is good and safe, would lowkey do anything for michael, and then ends up complicit in evan's death. i'm not absolving rory of anything, to be clear, because he went along with it just fine, but y'know. what if they just both fucked each other up REAL bad??
but also like his parents do suck. really. dangling them at william as i speak.
how did your muse come to realize their romantic and sexual orientations? was it difficult to accept? are they proud of who they are? ( x )
okay, i joke abt his denial a lot ( as a queer person who def went through a period of like. . . the kind of denial that sounds fictional LMAO ) but here's a more serious discussion:
obviously i've discussed plenty ( including in his bio ) that he falls for michael, but in terms of his personal process of accepting it. . . it's slow going. he's 100% in denial until the moment he literally kisses michael and, let's be real, there was crazy romantic tension before then. then he just panics and starts trying to prevent aaaaaany sort of realization. that's where all the "it's just experimenting," "it doesn't mean anything," "i'm straight, you're just the exception" jokes keep coming from ( they're not really jokes lmaoooo ). he's like 0.1 seconds away from "no homo-ing" directly after a makeout session. he will fly off the fucking handle if anyone "accuses" him of being gay, especially if it's intended homophobically, but honestly period. this includes michael, the guy he's actively lowkey dating-without-admitting-it. okay, tbh i'm laughing at this like yes it's sad but imagine arguing that you're straight with the guy you kiss 40 times a day.
he's so close to accepting that he's gay ( considering he's finally accepting he's in love with michael, even if he hasn't Said The Words yet ) when The Bite happens and, uh. heartbreak and self-hatred just makes him tamp that realization back down for a few years. once he moves out, he's finally able to process and accept his orientation, though i wouldn't say he's at the point of feeling pride. i think that'll probably take several more years to. . . just be himself. i do actually think he's the type to eventually be comfortable enough to be openly gay ( like jayne ) despite the times and risks despite everything prior fkdshfadsl
#f n a f /#internalized homophobia tw#homophobia mention tw#violence mention tw#implied abuse tw#˖ ♡ 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝒹𝒸𝒶𝓃𝑜𝓃. » all i think about ( rory hunter )#michael: [playing with rory's hair] maybe you just like guys / rory instantly: you know what FUCK this#sorry i know i JUST said i was discussing it seriously here but PLEASEEEE#my favorite pin on his and michael's pint.erest section is the fucking#guy who knows he's in love with his best friend but doesn't know he's gay (rory)#and guy who knows he's gay but doesn't know he's in love with his best friend (michael)

Multiple choice challenge for you while you recover from your annoying cold: Jo Wilson or Izzie Stevens? Joey Potter or Rory Gilmore? Piper Halliwell or Phoebe Halliwell? Luke Danes or Jess Mariano? Lorelai Gilmore or Caroline Forbes? And why?!?! I know these are tough, so good luck :)
Ahhhh! These are really hard!
Also, I feel like a lot of these answers would be or could be different depending on my mood?? Why I say that is because sometimes I lean heavier into the morally gray or flawed characters, or those I’m relating to more or less at the moment, and that usually has to do with my headspace at a particular time. You know, like if I’m paralleling some of their issues, working through stuff, grappling with similar conflicts in my own life, kind of thing.
Anyway, here goes!
Jo Wilson or Izzie Stevens?
Honestly, I think this choice has to do more with the fact that I prefer the earlier seasons of Grey’s to the latter ones. Probably a cop out but whatever haha. Everything was spunky and innovative then. Plus, there were better storylines and character arcs. Izzie gets a lot of hate in the fandom at large. Makes me want to fight for her a little. Even so, I thought she was an interesting character overall. I liked how her empathy and compassion had a tendency to muddy the waters for her as a surgeon. I’ve always wondered what specialty she’d wind up pursuing, what successes she’d accrue, the mark she’d make in her field as well as in her patients’ lives.
Joey Potter or Rory Gilmore?
Oh, my beloved introverted nerds! This one was tough because naturally I adore them both but I’m going with Rory today because I relate to her sense of awe and wonder where books are concerned. She’s so alive, stimulated really, in all things academia. She and I are also introverted in much the same way. Our friend circle is not large, but it’s constant, it’s trusted. We prefer to make deep, lasting bonds with people rather than superficial ones. We both are notorious list-makers, too, which, when there is a big decision to be made, we rush to them to flush out pros and cons. There’s lots of deliberation amongst ourselves and among those we trust. We also have similar BFF energy with our moms. (I tell mine all the time she’s “the Lorelai to my Rory.”)
Piper Halliwell or Phoebe Halliwell?
I’ve never been able to choose a favorite between these two. I always oscillate. One day, it’s Piper; the next it’s Phoebe. I’m selecting Phoebe today because of her passion and zest for life. I love how she jumps into things with her whole heart, how empathy guides her in magic, in relationships, in life. She’s always so ready and willing to try new things, too. It’s inspiring. I want to be more like that. Be less afraid to put myself out there and take more chances.
Luke Danes or Jess Mariano?
Not to be dramatic but this choice cut my soul into a Horcrux! I have so much love for these two emotionally repressed men! They actually have quite a few similarities between them. (Which makes sense if you think about it since they’re uncle and nephew. Genetics, man! Never know what’s going to pop up or where. Sheesh!) That said, there’s something so tragic to me about Jess and his upbringing with Liz and how he views love as something he’s almost not worthy enough to receive. That’s a terrible thing to think! To feel about yourself! I mean, he wasn’t getting the love he needed from his mother or from Jimmy. They ignored him, or worse, abandoned him. It’s not until he goes to Stars Hollow to live with Luke does he slowly come to know, to accept, that there are people in this world he CAN count on. People who will have his back no matter how many times he screws up. People who would always be there for him. Idk, I just really love the arc of that. It’s moving.
Lorelai Gilmore or Caroline Forbes?
Gilmore Girls is my favorite show and Lorelai is one of my favorite female characters of all time so I feel a little guilty about this one, but Caroline and I are cut from so much of the same cloth that it feels remiss not to pick her. Sometimes I think of her as being my fictional shadow self. She’s Type A organized and compulsive, as am I because there are so many things about my health and body I cannot control, so why not control everything else that I can? She’s focused, determined, ambitious, compassionate, and always sees the good in people, which is something I try to do myself. We share the “if you want something done right, do it yourself” attitude as well. She’s also next level insecure to the point that she thinks “I will never be the one.” That sentiment hits so close to home I could cry. 😂

Two To Tangle
This came from me thinking about the stupidest and/or silliest things the guys might have dared each other to do while drunk/partying over the years, and now here we are lol. Very silly, but hopefully fun for y’all to read!
My love to all who read/like/reblog!
“What have you done?”
“In all fairness to us, it is actually quite impressive,” Roger replied. “I certainly didn’t think it could be done, but then I didn’t trust my skill with this...”
Freddie sighed, and rolled out of bed. “That didn’t answer my question, Roger.”
“It was an answer,” Roger protested. “Can you just come over and help? We’re at Brian’s, a bit shit-faced-”
“I’m very shit-faced!” came Brian’s voice, echoing down the line. “Don’t lie to him!”
“I’m not lying to him!” Roger argued. “Why are you bragging about that anyway?”
“This hurts!” John’s voice now, sounding equally drunk, but much more irritated.
“Who’s hurt?” Freddie tried again.
In the meantime, Jim had woken, a look on his face asking quite clearly ‘what in the fuck is happening?’
Freddie could only shrug as there was the sound of a tussle, then a crash, and then the sound of the phone being dropped.
“They’re probably alright though, you think?” Jim asked as Freddie dressed, the phone call abandoned after no one on the other end had picked up their phone again.
“I have no idea,” Freddie admitted. “Hopefully? They’re all alive, and drunk, if nothing else.”
“You’ll call if you need help?”
“What would you plan on doing?
“Depends on what you find when you get there,” Jim shrugged. “How bad it is. If we need to call any families, inform them of causalities-”
Freddie laughed. “I don’t think it’ll be that terrible.”
“Do you put it past them?” Jim asked, but he smiled, the joke evident in his voice.
“I’ll call if I need back-up,” Freddie said, and gave him a kiss. “And besides, Phoebe is driving me over, he can be part of the cavalry as well.”
“Lord help us if we need more than the three of us,” Jim said.
---
The door to Brian’s home was unlocked, as if he was a medic coming to attend an emergency.
And honestly, he wasn’t sure if he shouldn’t be treating it like that.
But instead of injury or blood, he found them in the sitting room.
“What in the fuck have you done?”
“So, it started with a bet that I couldn’t braid hair, because Rory will surely need my help with that someday,” Roger said. “Her hair’ll be long enough for it before you know it. Anyway-”
“I said prove it,” Brian interrupted. “And I do regret that now, I’d like that noted.”
“...noted,” Freddie sighed. “I think I can guess the rest of this.”
“No, let us tell it!” Roger said. “Then I said ‘well, let me braid your hair then, I’ll prove it.’ And John pipes up-”
“Can it also be noted that I regret what I said?” John asked, trying to sip at the beer bottle in his hand. “Because I do very much so.”
“Are we in fucking court?” Freddie sighed, exasperated. “Sure, yes, duly noted. I’ll dictate this all to Jim later at home and have him send you all a copy of the report.”
“I’d rather not have any reminder of this, thanks,” Brian said. “But yes, John said to make it a challenge, and since my hair is curls and he’s got his perm-”
“You decided to have him braid your hair into John’s,” Freddie finished, staring at the two of them, their necks looking painfully cricked due to the set of not terrible, but not great, braids done to keep them attached by the hair. “I...I might actually be almost speechless. Well done.”
“Just help, please,” John begged. “This hurts so fucking bad, I swear to God, how is it trouble every time we drink together. How does this keep happening?”
“I mean, I have some ideas,” Freddie replied.
“If you had been here, this probably wouldn’t have happened,” Brian fussed.
“Now now,” Freddie scolded. “I don’t get on any of you for wanting to be with your families, do I? Turning down the occasional invite to spend time because you want to be around a spouse and the kids?”
“No,” Brian mumbled. “Sorry.”
“Don’t be sorry, it’s alright,” Freddie sighed. “This, however...I don’t want to say we need scissors-”
“No!” Brian and John spoke as one, and he jumped.
“Fucking hell, no scissors then. At least for right now, because...god I do love you all, but why? Why this? The two worst hair textures in the band to try this little experiment on...”
“Scissors would make it easier,” Roger muttered as Freddie started to tackle the mess, and he winced as Freddie slapped at his leg.
“You’re the one who did this! You don’t get to make the scissors decision!” Freddie spat. “Oh, don’t look at me like that. I’m sorry, but really, Roger.”
But Roger was pouting, and far too drunk to be responding like the adult he normally was, and he sunk down in his chair before putting his sunglasses back on.
“Okay,” Freddie said, to hide his growing panic. Any attempt to work on the braids seemed to make it worse, but he couldn’t be sure. “We’re calling in an expert.”
“No one else can know about this,” John said darkly. “Freddie-”
“I’m just calling Jim!” Freddie said. “Goodness, you act like we’d have to kill whoever I called so they could never tell anyone about this.”
“Well, I didn’t know it was Jim you were going to call,” John replied.
“Are you suggesting we would have killed anyone else I might have called?” Freddie asked incredulously.
“We aren’t in that situation, so I don’t think we need to explore it,” John answered.
“I...that’s probably the beer talking, but we’re still discussing this later,” Freddie said, shaking his head as he went to the phone.
“Having a good time?” Jim sounded half-asleep, but happy. For nearly three in the morning, it was better than most people would sound.
“No, we need you.”
“Oh my god, what have they done? Is anyone hurt?”
“No, but I am tempted to give them all a smack for this,” Freddie replied. “We need someone who deals with hair, and if there’s anyone I would call for that, it’s you. How often do you deal with braids?”
“Not often at all, if I’m honest,” Jim said. “But I can come over and do my best. And I am awfully curious now to see this...”
“I’ll send Phoebe over for you.”
---
Phoebe, for his part, was having quite the giggle over it all, but he went and got Jim promptly.
“I’ll leave you two to it,” he said as he led Jim into the house. “There’s enough beer here for us as well, and I imagine this will take some time, so I’ll be fine to drive by the time we leave.”
Freddie watched Jim successfully bite back a laugh as he looked to Brian and John, the only sign of it a twitch of his lips.
“What have you boys done to yourselves?”
“Roger did it to us, actually,” Brian replied.
“You egged me on!”
“I-” Brian paused. “Okay, yeah, I did! And?!”
“You’re as guilty as I am then!” Roger shouted.
“Okay,” Jim said softly. “You can argue guilty and not guilty later-”
“Think we’re all guilty,” John interrupted.
“That seems the accurate take,” Jim agreed. “But that all can wait. Let’s get this fixed first.”
The coffee table was moved, and a chair sat so Jim could sit in between and in front of them, fingers delicately working at the braids.
“We could get you a beer,” Brian offered quietly.
“You could? Jim asked with a smile. “How so?”
Brian blushed. “Well. I could have Freddie get you one, I suppose.”
“Thank you, but I’ll need to keep my head about me for this, though I can see how you might want to drink to forget this night,” Jim said. “You’re both going to need to be gentle on your hair after this, I hope you know. For a few nights, at least.”
“Yes sir,” Brian mumbled. John only grimaced at a quick tug of his hair.
“There’s one undone,” Jim chirped. “Not my usual fare, but this isn’t as bad as I was expecting. And not terribly done either, may I say, Roger.”
“I don’t think Rory will let me even look at her hair if she finds this out,” Roger said miserably, finally casting his sunglasses aside again to the table. He looked tired, and much more sober.
“Lucky you are that she’s still a baby then,” Freddie said. “And she doesn’t need to find this out unless anyone should tell her. Which none of us will.”
“I might,” John attempted to shrug.
Roger glared at him for a moment, then broke into a laugh. “Fine. You can be the one to tell her, and braid her hair when she bans me from it.”
“I can work with that,” John said. “Not a terrible exchange.”
“I’d rather you not tell her,” Brian said. “Would really rather that no one knows about this, in fact.”
“Right, right,” Freddie said, trying to grab the Polaroid camera Phoebe had also retrieved from the house as surreptitiously as possible. The picture he snapped was quick, but Jim smiled beautifully for it. Brian flipping him off and John rolling his eyes were a wonderful bonus.
“Freddie,” Brian sighed. “Why?”
“Memories,” he replied. “Someday we’ll see this picture and laugh at it. Or I will, at least. Think I’ll frame it, actually.”
Brian seemed ready to reply, but yelped instead.
“Sorry, sorry,” Jim soothed. “That’s another one done though, if it helps.”
“That does, actually,” Brian said. “Think I can almost move my neck.”
“Give me another ten minutes, and I think I’ll have you freed,” Jim said, his fingers moving swiftly and deftly now.
“Are you really making eyes at him now of all times?” Roger asked Freddie with a grin.
“I like watching my man at work, so sue me,” Freddie said. “He’s doing something wonderfully kind, and he looks good doing it, how can I not admire that?”
Jim blushed, but didn’t cease his work.
“What would we do without you two?” Roger asked, leaning back in his chair.
“Be touring like this, I suppose,” John replied. “Can you imagine?”
“Forget touring,” Brian said. “What about every day?”
John was lost in thought for a moment. “Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning at my house, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday at yours, then Saturday and Sunday we take a day to go bother Roger and Freddie at their homes.”
“Have you been plotting that out this whole time?” Brian scoffed, then shrugged. “Though, it isn’t a terrible schedule.”
“That’s what I thought,” John said. “Fair amount of time with everyone.”
“Luckily, there’ll be no need for it,” Jim said. “Done! Go ahead and let yourselves move, before you end up stuck that way.”
There was an unsettlingly loud crack from both of their necks as they straightened up and moved their heads and shoulders to loosen back up.
“We owe you,” Brian said with a happy sigh. “If ever you need a favor-”
“I’ll give you both a call,” Jim interrupted with a laugh. “Now, I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m ready for bed. “It’s nearly...”
He frowned. “Or not. It’s nearly five-thirty. I’ve got work by six-thirty today.”
They all winced at that.
“Perhaps a day of just you and Freddie napping, with no calls from us?” Brian offered.
“And a dinner at some later date,” John added.
“With less to drink,” Roger said. “Who am I kidding, we’ll still have a good time and probably over-indulge. But no hair braiding.”
“If that’s a promise, then I can agree to all of that,” Jim said. “We’d best head home. Will you all be alright now?”
“Nothing wounded now but my pride,” Brian replied. “Thank you, again.”
---
At home in Garden Lodge, the picture from that night would find a home on a mantel, in a small silver frame.
It remained in that silver frame, later, taken by Jim from Garden Lodge.
And many years after, on an end table in Roger’s home, the silver frame still gleamed, a small note in Jim’s handwriting tucked into it: He would want you to have this, and I do as well. Take care.

Diary Challenge Days 1-2!
Island Name: Dragonfork
Character: Kacy
Starting fruit: Pears
Airport Color: Yellow
Starting Residents: Phoebe and Rory
Favorite Natural Feature: The Mini-island!
Home: Beachside
Dragonfork is already coming along so much! I am so excited to be going on this adventure! I was super happy to meet Phoebe and Rory and see the bright yellow airport. We started off with a campfire ceremony where we named the island Dragonfork and made juice from the local pears! I then immediately started exploring and was delighted to find that the rivers on the island make a mini-island - I will being moving my home to this area from the beach ASAP! I then did some fishing and the first thing I caught was of course a sea bass.
The next day Blathers moved in and we set up a location for a local shop. I also did some island hopping and planted some exotic fruit I found. There may even be some new residents coming to Dragonfork very soon! I hope the Dragonfork continues to grow and prosper, and I look forward to future Dragonfork Adventures!

PREFERRED NAME — nora. i think i started going by it in like, 2009?? my full name is eleanor but i hated it n thought it was way too pretentious n i never felt like it fitted me so when i started writing on forums i decided i’d be a nora rather than eleanor and then my school friends called me it and it just kinda stuck, the only person who calls me eleanor is my mum
PRONOUNS — she / her / ethereal being beyond comprehension
AGE — 23 but i tell everyone im 21 because even tho time is literally fake im desperately clinging to that fleeting thing we call youth trying to catch it like smoke in my hands
PINTEREST — i actually have two. this one is my main one where i just cram all my shit n i’ve had it for years and some of its super unorganised. then i also have this one which is one i made for exclusively female characters. it started as mythological figures but now its like, women in literature and the occasional oc as well. variety is the spice of life!
DISCORD — lindsay lohan’s meth#8664
TUMBLR (PERSONAL/MUSE/RPH) — i used to be froseths but now im pvrscphones cos ya gal is a fucking whore for mythology
OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE — oi oi guvna ere’s me twitta. also here’s my letterboxd n my goodreads if anyone still uses tht
MYER-BRIGGS — enfp / infp border .... the classic profile of a lit student
HP HOUSE — hufflepuff, am fuckin mad.
ZODIAC — libra which is a joke because i am in no way balanced but i guess i AM indecisive and a peacekeeper so?
DO YOU BELIEVE IN ASTROLOGY? — i believe it when it says good shits gonna happen in my life and blame it if bad shit happens but i don’t strongly follow it i just find it interesting
HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN YOU STARTED RPING ON TUMBLR — maybe like 14?? my first rp blog here is literally so embarassing i wrote as clove from the hunger games n my best friend irl wrote cato :/ it was wild
WHAT YEAR WAS IT? — like 9 years ago?? 2010 maybs
NAME A RANDOM ROLEPLAY THAT STICKS OUT IN YOUR MEMORY — me n my friend ellie made this really cool group the summer before we left for uni which was loosely based on a concept mentioned mayb once in the divergent series, but it gave us loads of freedom to make it our own thing. it was called the fringe n it was like..... this dystopian society where people with different genes were cut off from the rest of society n lived in overrun slum cities where different groups had like, a monopoly over weapons, produce, etc.... my character jack was the leader of this lost-boy-esque tribe called the wolf pack who were hunters n used to run across the rooftops wearing the skins of animals they’d killed and engage in tribal rituals with sacrifices to the gods n shit. sounds lame but everyone there was so invested in their character arcs that it was a shame to see it go. but ! it kind of reached its end point so we blew it up w nukes n they all died. tragic.
WHAT WEIRD ANIMAL WOULD YOU HAVE AS A PET IF IT WAS REALISTIC — a fox?? do ppl keep foxes? idk i’ve always just felt a sense of connection w them like when a fox stares at me im like this shit is life i am living and breathing in this bitch.... visceral
NAME THE FIRST SONG ON YOUR DISCOVER WEEKLY ON SPOTIFY OR THE FIRST SONG THAT COMES ON APPLE MUSIC / ITUNES SHUFFLE — everbody party tonight by cobra man n summer girl by haim..... not my usual stuff but big summer chillin vibes,.....
NAME A BOOK THAT YOU READ IN SCHOOL THAT YOU SURPRISINGLY LIKED — lord of the flies and also the handmaid’s tale. one of assignments was to write a chapter from another character’s perspective n i chose moira
NAME A BOOK YOU HATED THAT MOST PEOPLE LIKED — skellig. fuck off with ur asprin ugly bat man i don’t care. also of mice and men. don’t care about the rabbits or curley’s goddamn wife.
WHAT TV SHOW DID YOU RECENTLY BINGE? — im not a big binger bc i find it jst makes me depressed if i watch tv all day but im nearly finished stranger things season 3 n i recently finished euphoria (big rec but proceed w caution as quite triggering content)
FAVOURITE QUOTE — cool girl speech from gone girl. but also “there’s something dangerous about the boredom of teenage girls” i know its like.... such an overused quote but it really encapsulates this kind of feral girlhood that a few of my characters like bridget n greta have tapped into. i also loved the line “i feel like i could eat the world raw” from song of achilles, that really captures this kind of.... pure n childlike enthusiasm tht i wanna achieve w rory
LINK TO A VINE THAT EXUDES YOUR ‘ENERGY’ — this is my energy completely am always covered in glitter n staring broodily out of the windows of ubers at 4am like im in the sad bit of an indie film
DO YOU WRITE OUTSIDE OF RP? WHAT DO YOU WRITE? — uhh.... not as much as i shd.... i want to be a writer so i shd be makin some effort to get my stuff Out Into The World but im just not.... lol. ive done a lot of poetry collections . i wnt to finish a novel @ some point too.
THREE YOUTUBERS YOU STILL TRUST — bold of you to assume i trust any youtubers
A CELEBRITY CRUSH THAT JUST WON’T QUIT — id literally die for saoirse ronan n timothee chalamet :/ chance perdomo also owns my ass.
EVER MEET A CELEBRITY? SHARE YOUR STORY — i once high-fived dani harmer, the actress who played tracy beaker. today my sister text me tryin to make me guess what celebrity she just saw on holiday in wales and for ages she let me think it was timmothee but it was actually bradley walsh from the chase :/
WHAT’S YOUR PICTURE-PERFECT NIGHT? — i am in a bomb ass crop top and mini skirt, several scrunchies in my hair, glitter all over my face, wearing cowboy boots. we eat dinner in a trendy but affordable pub that doubles up as a cocktail bar n then we drink zombies or sex on the beaches n go to a rave where everyone is on the same wavelength n i share drugs with girls in the toilets and we swap numbers knowing we will never text each other but its ok bc in that moment we feel like we are soulmates and everyone is super drunk n touching everyone else n its all very visceral and we walk through the woods when the rave ends and lie in the grass because we wish to suck out all the marrow of life
A CONSPIRACY THEORY YOU KINDA BELIEVE IN — princess diana was murdered
ARE ALIENS REAL? — maybe the real aliens are the friends we made along the way
PLAY ANY PHONE GAMES? WHICH ONES? — love island game im addicted and way too invested in my fictional relationship with bobby, a cartoon
WHAT’S A FILM YOU LOVED WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG AND RECENTLY WATCHED, ONLY TO FIND OUT YOU DON’T ANYMORE — bold of u to assume i remember my childhood. but if we’re talking last 10 years angust, thongs n perfect snogging is so so cringe

Biography of Bill Gates
William Henry Gates was born on 28 October 1955, in Seattle, Washington. As the principal founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates is one of the most influential and richest people on the planet. Recent estimates of his wealth put it at US$84.2 billion (Jan. 2017); this is the equivalent of the combined GDP of several African economies. In recent years he has retired from working full time at Microsoft, and has instead concentrated on working with his charitable foundation “The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.”
Early life of Bill Gates
His father William Gates Sr was a senior lawyer, and his mother, Mary, served as an executive for a major bank. The family were wealthy but, remembering the challenges of the Great Depression, they encouraged their children to work hard and take nothing for granted.
Aged 13, Gates attended the private Lakeside school. It was here that Gates had his first introduction to computers. He taught himself to programme in Basic, making a simple ‘Tic-Tac-Toe’ game. Gates enjoyed the process of working with computers and arranged with a company Computer Center Corporation (CCC) to spend time on their computers – learning source code, such as Fortran, Machine Code and Lisp.
Bill Gates foundation of Microsoft
Bill Gates founded Microsoft in 1976 when he formed a contract with MITS (Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems) to develop a basic operating system for their new microcomputers. In the early days, Bill Gates would review every line of code. He was also involved in several aspects of Microsoft’s business such as packing and sending off orders.
Bill Gates – Windows
In 1990 Microsoft released its first version of Windows. This was a breakthrough in operating software as it replaced text interfaces with graphical interfaces. It soon became a best seller and was able to capture the majority of the operating system market share. In 1995 Windows 95 was released, setting new standards and features for operating systems. This version of Windows has been the backbone of all future releases from Windows 2000 to the latest XP and Vista.
Throughout his time in office, Bill Gates has been keen to diversify the business of Microsoft. For example, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer became the dominant web browser, although this was primarily because it came pre-installed on most new computers. In recent years, Internet Explorer has seen its market share slip.
One area where Microsoft has never been successful is in the area of search engines. MSN live search has struggled to gain more than 5% of market share. In this respect, Microsoft has been dwarfed by Google. Nevertheless, the success of Microsoft in cornering various aspects of the software market has led to several anti-trust cases. In 1998 US v Microsoft, Microsoft came close to being broken up into three smaller firms. However, on appeal, Microsoft was able to survive as a single firm. Although Microsoft was the dominant computer firm of the 1980s, and 1990s, they are now seen as an ageing and declining company – compared to the more dynamic Google and Apple.
Philanthropic Activities – Bill Gates
Bill Gates is married to Melinda French (married in 1992). They have three children Jennifer (1996), Rory (1999) and Phoebe (2002). With his wife, Bill Gates formed the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Bill Gates says much of the inspiration came from the example of David Rockefeller. Like Rockefeller, Gates has sought to focus on global issues ignored by the government; he also expressed an interest in improving the standards of public school education in the US. He has appeared with Oprah Winfrey to promote this objective. In respect to charitable, philanthropic activities Gates has also received encouragement from investor Warren Buffet, who has given away $17 billion, through the Gates Foundation. Gates has also sought to prioritise issues that improve the health of the population rather than ‘vanity projects’. Speaking at a TED conference in 2009, he said about malaria. Read More On..

Assuming they were all close enough to your age, how would you rank these female characters in order of how much you'd like knowing them/being friends with them in REAL life? (I ask because sometimes I'll enjoy someone as a fictional character but know I'd despise them in the real world, lol) Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Lorelai, Rory, Buffy, Cordelia, Willow, Leslie, April, Ann, Rosa, Amy and Gina. Have fun!
Hmm… This is interesting!
Leslie: I love Leslie so much!!! She’s so kind, intelligent, funny, inspiring! I would love to be her friend! I would be honored if she considered me a friend. Plus… Galentine’s Day!!!
Rory: Rory is a mess, and would seriously annoy me at times, but we have a lot in common. She’s smart, interesting, knows Lane, Logan and Paris (imagine hanging out with those three!), and she’s relatable to me. I can’t imagine being close friends with her, but if she likes Lane, she’d maybe like me?
Willow: We have a few things in common: we’re socially awkward, and like science and knowledge. Plus, I’d be cool to be friends with a Wicca!
Buffy: She’s funny, sweet, badass, and a cool person to shop with, but she’d probably get on my nerves. Our personalities are too different, and hanging out with a slayer seems risky. However, she’s relatable in the latter seasons, and strong. She would challenge me, and perhaps inspire change in me.
Rachel: She’s sweet, loves fashion, and has a big heart. I wouldn’t mind being friends with her!
Gina: I love Gina, but she’s dramatic, insensitive, mean. I wouldn’t like being friends with her, but she’s so interesting that I think it would be fun to hang out with her and get to know her nonetheless.
April: April is kind of insane, fun, and deep down very sweet. But she’s a bit rude and mean sometimes, and I don’t think we have tons in common. She’s a really interesting person though.
Anne: I don’t love Anne, but she’s pretty great. She’s a good friend and a good person. She’s very normal, so it’d be nice to be friends with her.
Monica: I actually have a lot in common with Monica (besides the name!), but she’s very energetic and extroverted, which is exhausting to me.
Amy: I’m still pissed at Amy because of season 5. She’s very controlling, almost aggressive at times. We both love Harry Potter, reading, nerding out. I think we’d get along alright, but there’s still something about her that bothers me.
Cordelia: She’s a bit of a mean girl, and we don’t have much in common, but AtS Cordelia is someone I can be friends with (especially seasons 1 and 2 Cordelia).
Rosa: She’s too aggressive so we wouldn’t get along very well.
Lorelai: She’s immature and not that great of a mom. We would definitely not get along well.
Phoebe: She’s spiritual, and a half-assed vegetarian, so as an atheist and a vegan, I’d dislike her (not because she’s religious or a vegetarian, but because she believes animals can be her departed clients, and forgoes vegetarianism when it’s convenient.)
Thanks for the ask!
It’s amazing that I get asks like this. What do you get out of it? You just sent me an ask and told me to “have fun”. It’s insane! Your’re sending me asks for my personal enjoyment? Why!? It’s awesome!

Hi, wonderful friend! Here's a fun quarantine challenge: name the trait you like most AND the trait you like least about each of these characters: Lorelai, Rory, Prue, Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Elena, Caroline, Bonnie, April Kepner, Meredith Grey, Cristina, Lexie, Jo. (Male characters to follow in another post!) I can't wait to read your answers!
Lorelai:
Best - Her wit/sense of humor
Worst - Her emotional immaturity
Rory:
Best - Her unapologetic thirst for knowledge/bookworm tendencies
Worst - The fact that she doesn’t seem to reflect on or show remorse for huge errors in judgment/character (sleeping with a married Dean, stealing a yacht, carrying on an affair with Logan, her inflated sense of entitlement etc.)
Prue:
Best - Her bravery and the sacrifices she makes to protect her sisters
Worst - She’s a bit of a control freak. It prevents her from letting her guard down, from trusting, which I get but that can be inhibiting
Piper:
Best - She’s caring and maternal
Worst - The fact that she clings so hard to an idealistic vision of “normalcy”
Phoebe:
Best - Her empathy
Worst - She can be a bit impulsive, reckless
Paige:
Best - Her sense of need to help others
Worst - She can be too obstinate and strong-willed at times
Elena:
Best - Her compassion
Worst - She can be a tad self-involved
Caroline:
Best - Her optimistic cheer, the fact that she always seems to “see the good in people”
Worst - She can be judgmental
Bonnie:
Best - Her selflessness
Worst - Her skepticism
April:
Best - Her perkiness, her inner tenaciousness
Worst - Her tunnelvision neuroses and insecurities, which often prevent her from seeing the bigger picture
Meredith:
Best - Her ability to survive, to keep going
Worst - Sabotaging her romantic relationships when they get too real
Cristina:
Best - Her confidence, her ambition
Worst - She can be cold and unfeeling
Lexie:
Best - Her optimism and empathy
Worst - She doesn’t always handle confrontation well and can fall into self-pity
Jo:
Best - Her resilience
Worst - She has a difficult time keeping her emotions in check sometimes, mostly when people disappoint her, and she’s distrustful

CONGRATULATIONS LAURA SCOTT!
Laura is relatively new to intense fitness training. Before joining PUSH11 she couldn’t do one strict pull up and she had never competed in a CrossFit competition before. However, she placed third at her first PUSH winter games and last week, during 19.4, she did a total of 20 strict pull ups! Though this is quite impressive, anyone who knows Laura won’t be surprised. Laura shows a lot of heart, grit, and determination every day that she walks into the gym. At the same time she is as warm, welcoming, and gregarious as anyone I have ever met. Everyone at PUSH loves her and she really appreciates and loves our own little community. I’m so proud of how far Laura has come in her fitness journey and I can’t wait to see her continue to thrive in the future.
**** She’s a badass scientist that won’t take a PhD as “good enough” and is pursuing an MD as well. Does research on Parkinson’s and finds time to crush it in the gym with her boo. Literally throws herself into PUSH and made a big dent in her dub progression in my clinic. Her gifts are always more CrossFit opportunities haha. She’s an inspiration for sure.
Come in for a Free Class and meet Laura, she usually works out in the evening.
**** Laura has made huge improvements over the past few months and it has been awesome to see! She works super hard every week to get better and better. She also has the best outlook and attitude! She is so sweet, always smiling, and always cheering other people on. I love working out with her :)
****
Laura has been crushing it in the gym. She is consistently challenging herself to push harder and do more. She is PRi’ng lifts, excelling in her pull up programming and competed in her first CrossFit competition! She truly is an inspiration to me and the other woman in the gym to work harder.
**** What I admire most about Laura is her drive and perseverance to become a better athlete. Whether in the beast cave or during a WOD, Laura is always pushing herself to give 100%, seeking ways to improve and hone her skills, and encouraging others.
Not to mention, she is a super sweet and kind person with an awesome dog named Rory!
**** Laura is always a joy to have in class. She has a positive energy about her that's hard not to notice. She's been busting her ass to get better every day. Since starting at PUSH she's thrown herself into all of our activities, clinics, events, and programming. She's made huge progress in a small amount of time. PUSH is a happier place when she's there.
Book a Free Intro session to learn how PUSH can help you!
Insight from the Rockstar herself!
Started CrossFit: May 2018
What is your fitness background: lots and lots of volleyball, bad long distance runner (I tried so hard to like it, but I honestly hate it), tons of yoga
Favorite Movement: box jump
Least Favorite Movement: thrusters, snatches are a close second
Occupation: PhD student
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your family: I grew up outside of Ann Arbor and then moved to rural eastern NC in middle school. I am product of good old-fashioned IVF. I have a twin sister and we are complete opposites. I grew up on a farm and learned how to drive at the age of 7, had a “pet” cow named Chili Meat (who lived up to his name), and know how to pickle most vegetables.
Tell us something we don’t know about you: I love playing pranks. I played pranks on most (if not all) of my high school teachers and college professors. My high school principle threatened to withhold my diploma if I didn’t stop.
Favorite Quote: honestly, I quote a lot of TV shows and movies. Friends is my go-to (Phoebe and Chandler are the best) and Horrible bosses is the most quotable movie ever.
Also, I freaking love Charlie Day.
How has CrossFit affected your life outside the gym: It has taught me mental toughness and perseverance. Before CrossFit, I got defeated very easily. While my PhD has taught me how to problem solve and grind through all of the failures, it didn’t really change my attitude towards failing. I just always felt defeated. CrossFit has changed that. Now I feel like any progress, no matter how small, is progress. And every failure is something to learn from. If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you. Wait, maybe that’s my favorite quote?
What do you enjoy most about PUSH: The people are AMAZING. I was so intimidated when I first joined. Tom was super in to CrossFit but the movements and weights made me uncomfortable. As soon as I started talking to coaches and members, I started to feel at home. They made complex movements accessible and attainable. I also learned that it’s all a process and you have to start somewhere. And I started at 0 pull-ups.
Fill in the Blank: I like… more like LOVE dogs. They’re awesome. I eat… oh my god, any type of potato. But mashed potatoes are the best. Also, falafel is amazing. I do… not like country music :( I am… very directionally challenged. Which way is north? I don’t know. I am a frequent user of Google maps. Favorite Cheat Meal… Jasa Kabob!! Or a huge cheese burger with French fries, a milk shake, and beer Favorite Real-Life Hero/Athlete… the notorious RBG. Seriously Ruth Bader Ginsburg is an inspirational human being.
