Lada and Tata's relationship is the most normal out of all of them when it comes to its development and general lack of toxicity.

They're newly made friends who bonded over someone close to both of them who died, they're both loners, outcasts who struggle to fit in (Lada is the withdrawn shepherdess and Tata is "no one's girl") who get brought together by collective suffering. They're close in age and mentality. Their positions and reputations in the village are similar.

Tata's romance makes the most sense: two young women finding some (maybe) unusual comfort in each other due to shared trauma.

This is notable imo because female LIs rarely appear like the 'correct' decision. Sure, most of them are "the best friend" or "the roommate" or "the maid" but the story obviously doesn't present them as the player's best pick, the canon choice, as in her romance path is natural.

Any headcanons about Jon Kent and/or Damian Wayne?

I'm gonna focus some older damijon headcanons so that this post doesn't go on forever 😅

Sleeping Habits

Jon sleeps best when he focuses in on Damian's heartbeat. He still has night terrors about his time as Ultraman's prisoner but if he can listen to Damian's heartbeat until it lulls him back to sleep, he feels safe. This continues on into his adult life.

Damian inherited Jon's old Superboy jacket after Jon came back aged up and he sleep with it next to his pillow like a security blanket (but if anyone asks, he'll deny it). Damian stops doing this when Jon begins sleeping over because now his pillows smell like Jon and that's all he really wanted, that feeling of knowing he's around.

Dating History

Jon dates a lot in his youth, he dated Irma, then Jay, then several more people before finally dating Damian in his early 30s. He likes dating, he likes the thrill of a new relationship but after the cliché feelings of romance have worn off, he has a bad habit of becoming distant until the other person just ends things with him. This hasn't happened with Damian because Damian doesn't let him get bored lol...also because their love is stronger than feelings of passion. It's a genuine love and friendship.

Damian didn't start dating seriously until after college. He'd had crushes but they weren't really a sexual thing, more like something he thought he was supposed to do and wanting to feel loved. He tried to give it the ol' college try with Maps but even she knew it wasn't going to work out; they're still really good friends though (and only two years "wasted"). Honestly, she figured out his preferences before he did and convinced him to ask Jon out. Silver lining is, Damian introduced her to Colin and when they got married they fought over who got to have him as their best man...she won. (yes Maps and Colin are one of my crack ships lol)

College

Damian actually convinced Jon to give college another try, which he does. They end up going to Star City University together (because it's neutral) and were even roommates. It was awkward for Jon at first since he was an older freshman but he's a people person so the age gap didn't stay weird for long. It did get tiring telling the freshman, "no, I can't buy you alcohol. I'm not trying to get expelled". He ends up getting a PhD in Biochemistry.

Damian had not been excited to continue his education until he managed to convince Jon to do it with him. He decided to go the Veterinary route because "people get on his nerves" and he wanted to save on his own vet bills (practical). When their majors took them in separate directions they still stayed as roommates. Damian and Jon didn't date in college so it did get under Damian's skin to see Jon date other people, but at the time he didn't really understand why (retrospect is 20/20).

Careers

Jon had been nervous about not following his parent's footsteps but with Damian's encouragement Jon goes into applied research and gets a job at S.T.A.R labs. He writes articles of his findings frequently, so it's not like the ol' writing genes went completely to waste. His parents do like to joke "where did we go wrong with you?" about his very different career path but it's all in jest, they are very proud of him.

Damian gets his veterinary medical degree but later decides to go back to school to get a general medical degree (he has a change of heart in his mid-30s). He is still primarily a Vet but he wanted to be able to help his family out as well since Alfred was gone and...so was Leslie now too. Damian also does a lot of extra research regarding alien biology on the side, he can't get a degree in it, but he's currently one of only a handful of people on Earth that would be able to operate on Jon or any other Kryptonian should they need it.

The Multiverse

Damian and Jon are a rare phenomena within the Multiverse; that are what is regarded as, "True Soulmates". Even on Earths that do not have both a Damian and Jon their fates are still intertwined. A world without both spells loneliness for the the other and more often than not, catastrophe for that world. (I'm actually in the process of writing a whole series about this. The first preview was posted earlier this month. Earth 3: Into the Owls Nest)

sure thing :) i'm only going to list works that have been going on for a while (or at least have gotten past the very beginning of the story) and that i've read all the way through. i'm also not going to list any of the super iconic fics i like because this list is already pretty long. these are all based on stuff that i personally find more interesting to read about, mostly focused on the human characters and not a lot of romance

i don't really know if these first two count but they're too good to not include:

Jade Route by spicyyeti

a post-epilogues comic centering around jade, this is my favorite homestuck fanwork. i especially love the artwork and the way it frames the story. it is reaaallllly hard to read it on a phone so make sure to read it on a computer or tablet

House of Dirk by imarriedacherub no rating - graphic depictions of violence - 13,570 words - 20 chapters (unfinished) A sitcom about completely normal and well-adjusted newlyweds Dirk and Caliborn attempting to make a good impression on their son, Dave, and his boyfriend, Karkat.

another comic, this one hosted on both ao3 and mspfa (though the ao3 version has more pages). i like how ridiculous it is. will probably never be finished, sadly

moving on to the actual fics:

Reallocated by breezefulskies mature - chose not to use archive warnings - 324,756 words - 65 chapters (unfinished) Hal finds himself stranded aboard a certain meteor, impact-bound for Houston, Texas circa 1995. And everything spirals out from there. Because sometimes, when a system seems to be just short of defunct, all that is required is to take a step back and reevaluate the materials at hand and redistribute your available resources. And so, with birth comes a countdown on a cycle that begins as it ends: In the red.

hal is mysteriously sent to earth via unknown means and finds himself raising a baby as best as he can, which, given that he's glasses, is not easy. this is my favorite homestuck fic, not just because it's about hal, but also because i love the focus on family dynamics and the plot as it unfolds. begging everyone to read this, i can't say what happens exactly without spoiling things, it's just really really good. at the moment, it updates once a month

Ersatz Abyss by katreal mature - no archive warnings apply - 120,092 words - 39 chapters (unfinished) You look into the mirror to find your own face looking back at you. You laugh. And then you cry. Last, you try and figure out how you got to this moment. The Auto-Responder had long since resigned himself to an artificial existence, his only dwindling hope for escape hinging on a promise that has yet to be fulfilled. Then one day he wakes up, Dirk nowhere to be found. What's the point in getting what you want, if you can't show off a little?

another great hal fic. i managed to get my roommate (who has not read homestuck) to read this and they really enjoyed it, so i'm sure you all won't have any problems liking this one either. there are a lot of fics out there of hal getting a body, but this one is very different in that it's not the happy ending that you might first think it is. this fic perfects the feeling of everything snowballing into a bigger and bigger problem until it all falls apart

Falling for the First Time by nobrandhero teen - no warnings apply - 63,818 words - 11/17 chapters The game is over, Alpha Earth resets to 2009, and Dirk's bro doesn't live up to expectations. The movie director who appears so chill and stoic in interviews is actually a talkative, needy dweeb like his teenage counterpart. It's not a bad thing, as far as Dirk's concerned.

for whatever reason, i'm a sucker for fics where the characters somehow end up on earth again post-game, and out of all the fics that follow that concept this one is my favorite. sadly, this one barely touches on jane and jake, but it's pretty interesting to read about what dirk and roxy are getting up to with their guardians (and the earth) restored to their previous conditions

The Haunted Harley House by hemoanarchists teen - chose not to use archive warnings - 78,462 words - 23 chapters (finished) There is an old house you built a long long time ago, alongside someone very close to you. Now as you don a new name, slipping back into society to care for a descendant, to whom tragedy has left you as her only family left, you take her to the house, the house that bears your family name. You really shouldn't have been surprised when he came to join you. It is his house too, after all.

carlah, a young girl who lives on earth c, has just been taken in by her uncle "jacob harley" after her mother's death. as time goes on, she slowly learns more about the true nature of her new guardians and the house they all live in. normally i'm not that interested in OCs but i love how intriguing carlah is as an outsider of the story. it's really easy to get invested in her as she uncovers a mystery we all know from the beginning and another that we have to learn along with her. shoutout to dysfunctional family dynamics

actually, while i'm at it, i'm going to recommend a bunch of other stuff he's written:

Atlantis Bound teen - chose not to use archive warnings - 33,263 words - 8 chapters (unfinished) Dirk tracks down an old friend

prequel to the haunted harley house but can also be read after (or separately). i really like the dynamic between dirk and vriska here, and i also love the way vriska's repeated reincarnation is utilized. vriska's journey through the newest iteration of her life while dirk watches over her is soooo captivating, especially when snippets of her previous lives are sprinkled in throughout. do you guys love cycles? personally i love cycles

Cherubian mature - chose not to use archive warnings - 54,011 words - 29 chapters (unfinished) The 5000 year time skip never happened, at the dawn of time the gods desperately try to guide the planet into a better future. But with tensions rising it feels like one bad day could bring everything crumbling down.

all of dante's earth-c god fics as a whole changed my brain chemistry and this acts as the beginning (and catalyst) of that overarching story. a lot happens in a very short amount of time

Transitional teen - no warnings apply - 1,860 words - oneshot a simple question what changed when you went godtier?

super simple but also an interesting exploration of the headcanon that players' bodies change when they go godtier. the twist is that each "change" is unique to each character and relates to their Self in some way

Here’s some potential questions I might get that I’m proactively answering now:

Why was the old blog deleted?

-I had a bad experience in the community and wanted to remove myself from it completely. I also had no idea where the game direction was going. Honestly, it started out with me wanting to make a yandere game with no understanding of what was going to happen really.

Why are you continuing with Duplicity?

-Duplicity originally stemmed from vague ideas about a horror romance I had started writing three years ago. Really, only some of the character names were similar. Once I started to feel like I wanted to come back and resume with development, I knew it needed a complete overhaul. So I went back to that old story and started piecing it together so it would work for a visual novel!

What changed and what can we expect?

-In the original demo, the game’s MC was around 20 years old. This has changed to player preference of anywhere between 25-30. Why? Because I’ve been wanting to see older characters in yandere visual novels, and just in VNs in general. I also don’t feel comfortable writing younger characters anymore. The characters’ ages will change depending on yours as well, which will be explained later. The only characters who have set ages are Mags and Melon.

-Speaking of characters, Sophie is no longer part of the story. I didn’t think about it at the time but I don’t want a minor to be included in this story when she’s not directly related to anyone, like a sister or a niece or something. In her place are several new characters: Nina, Savoy, and Melon.

-The game will be released in 3 parts instead of on a day-to-day basis. Part one will be mostly introductory but lengthy, part two will probably be the longest, and part three will mostly be focused on the endings of each route.

-The game will have more than just Griffin’s route. There are currently 9 endings I’m in the process of planning.

-As of the publishing of this post, everything previously known to the game is no longer canon, except for a few things.

-Asks pertaining to the game and its characters and settings are all completely fine. In fact, it’ll probably help me develop the characters even better.

Rachel lore stuff

Ok so I'm compiling my stuff about Rachel under the cut like how I did for Paul's parents! Mostly cause I want to have a set of how she would fit in since she's changed sm since 2021.

For context she originally started as pretty much exactly based on the character from American Psycho 2

Over time her design changed more and more as did aspects of her personality. Yeah she was more of a joke inclusion at first but like all joke things the more I included her, the more I thought about it and so.....

Timeline

So as the timeline I'm trying to set goes, Rachel was a foster kid for most of her life. At least since she was a toddler or early childhood after losing her parents. She remained in the system until aging out at the age of 18 which was when Paul's sister Jen sought to give her some assistance.

Paul, age 36 had discussions with his sister on the system over phone calls or family gatherings. It appeared like he had grown more and more interested, not only in that but dropping more hints of wanting to become a parent, so she mentioned Rachel to him. With the thought that adopting a kid that much older could be a lot easier than a small child, he agreed (much to Patrick's irritation but they still had separate living spaces so Paul didn't really care what he had to say).

To say it was a rough start would be putting it mildly, as with anyone thrusted into a new situation, Rachel had to suddenly navigate this new environment with the thought that it could all go away in an instant. She was used to rejection from families, peers etc so it was easier to switch off from engaging too much with Paul's attempts to welcome her. Paul tried with buying things and kept going that route when that didn't work. Eventually it was clear that it was just making her more uncomfortable so he tried to find things that interested her. This involved putting up with things he could barely stand like watching horror movies. He'd ask her about what she liked to read or about her life, but learned when to back off. It was the little things like that that brought her closer to Paul and conveyed that he may be safer than she thought.

Given that it was late Summer, Rachel opted to take a gap year now with college on the table. Rachel was most interested in forensics, partially because of the morbid nature of studying the dead and the nature of death itself. Paul supported this idea, seeing it as a great career opportunity as he pushed for her to decide on a study throughout the year.

Paul's family took an instant liking to her (his sister already being familiar with her and their mother welcoming her as her grandkid). By choice, she never met Patrick's family.

After a lot of prepping, she ended up going to Syracuse University to study forensic science where she met her roommate, Brenda. Brenda was brash and said everything on her mind which at first instantly turned Rachel off. She's more the type to mull over things but when someone gets that in her face it drives her crazy. They do find common ground and actually become extremely close just over the course of one semester.

It was pretty clear that she was homesick (she will not say that out loud) and frequently called Paul at night. If it weren't a nearly 4 hour distance by car she'd probably have visited more often besides the breaks. She did however, on her first week use the fact that she left behind a book to come home for the weekend. Paul was always more than happy to call and pay for the ride to and from.

Post graduation Rachel kept in touch with Brenda, they'd eventually become roommates again once they both found employment near New York City. The two found themselves in the closest thing they feel comfortable calling a relationship. Rachel was always adverse to romance and a lot of the labels and expectations that came with it. Brenda was easy going about it all and they found something that worked for them. Paul didn't totally get it and would get things wrong, Patrick didn't care to learn much about it.

As Rachel would get older she'd become more estranged from Paul, seeing him as an enabler to Patrick and finding "excuses" for staying with him. This would result in fighting and Rachel not talking to him or taking his calls for at least a month. They'd eventually reconcile but she would still have some boundaries. It would be hard for her to fully separate from Paul even as a grown adult, but it would also soon become hard to be as open and close as she once was.

Personality

Rachel's socially awkward, always has been and never totally grew out of it. She had trouble making friends due to this, being seen as off-putting to some. Once she begins to warm up to a person, she's a lot more relaxed and open about herself and interests. She's fascinated with the concept of death and the way things rot. She also loves horror movies and books, one of her only ways to relate to Patrick, and it's to a nerdy obsession. She thought briefly about the possibility of doing effects makeup.

She's still private about aspects of her personal life, only sharing bits and pieces when at her most comfortable.

Rachel has a tendency to think out loud or mumble to herself when deep in thought, sometimes making others think she's talking to them.

She also struggled with catastrophizing, especially early on after moving in with Paul. This would never show outwardly as she would shut down and withdraw rather than make an obvious show of it. Overtime she learned to control this better.

Progress Update 18/12/2024

First of all, Merry Christmas to all of you celebrating, and Happy Holidays for those just enjoying the season.

Wow, I look back at this past year and I wish I'd had more time to write because I have certainly not achieved as much as I had hoped.

I've been scrolling through the blog and, girl, so many things have changed as I developed the idea... When I first started writing this game I thought I would release the demo in, like, a month tops, and that it would be about 5k or 10k words.

And yet, here we are in December, 80k words in just counting Chapter One's file. To be fair, I could probably have released the demo as a teaser many months ago, but at that point the only character you would have interacted with is Dawn, and there would be no romance in sight, so it felt kind of better to just wait. Still, I'm kind of disappointed in myself that I haven't managed to finish Chapter One.

The demo has changed a lot since May, particularly in the last three months. Most of the changes revolve about how I wrote Abbie into the story, and I must say that I personally like it better now.

I've played games that give you your bestie as an RO before, and some of them left me a little indifferent. Even when the routes were well written and interesting, they didn't feel any different from the others. That made me see that I had to do a rewrite because I realized that there was no point in offering a best friend to romance if the character was presented the same way other ROs were. I had to give you snippets of Abbie's shared past with MC during the interview with Dawn, and more interactions with her during the process of signing up to enter the show, all of that before meeting the rest of the cast. If their bond rings hollow, what's the appeal in a friends-to-lovers route, right?

Unfortunately, this also meant taking some scenes out altogether, and changing the way I introduced stats, since I needed to know your MC's personality early on so that I could write her behaviour in flashbacks accordingly. Basically, the way I first structured Chapter One was unusable.

Some of the scenes I added are short, and others, considering all variables and flavour text, are like 4k words. You can even unlock special interactions or references, later on. Unique tattoos, inside jokes, specific gestures, fond memories, special places... The kind of thing that you would share with someone who's been close to you your whole life.

With that out of the way...

What's new:

• Some choices will block romance. You can choose to be shown which ones they are and they'll be marked with an x. As an example, the first one you'll encounter very soon into the game. If your MC is in her 40s, Vega's romance will be blocked.

• You can pick some family background for the MC.

• There were initially unique scenes for each pre-set names and the custom name. They now share the same scene that gives you another glimpse of Abbie and MC's past, as well as Abbie's relationship with her mother. The deleted scenes will be used later on in the story. I like them too much to let them go completely LOL

• I've added two new stats: Empathetic/Clueless & Easygoing/Hardass. Stats have changed, if slightly, since the first posts I made about them. Right now, things are:

• Since she has a nickname for your MC, MC will now be able to give one to Abbie, too.

• Abbie and MC can be roommates.

This isn't gonna be a long post, I don't think. Just some lil headcanons on what Enhypen like doing with their s/o <3

Lee Heeseung doesn't live with you yet. You both have been going out for possibly a month, but he had been dreaming of sharing a home with you much longer than that. Not necessarily the apartment he lives in right now - especially when he had a roommate named Jake. More so a new home, one that was yours and his to fill. That's why he loved cleaning the house with you. It was therapeutic and he thought it was cute how much you loved blasting music as you did so.

When you two would do chores, they were never boring. He was so grateful when you offered to help clean his apartment, and as you both got on with it, he liked to fantasise as he did the dishes that you were both tidying up your shared home. And the fact you were both dating, finally, meant even more to him.

Park Jongseong. We don't really have to guess what this is. Jay loves two things that he does with you. I mean, don't get me wrong, he loves spending time with you, full stop. But he CHERISHES both sleeping peacefully and cooking with you. Being lazy and domestic.

When you both fall asleep somewhere other than bed, like a couch, he finds it so cute. He loves the lazy kisses he gives you and the automatic, rhythmic strokes you give him in return. When you fall asleep in his arms or on his lap, he can't help but watch you breathe in and out repeatedly.

Cooking is no different. He loves how you both converse what to make. He loves holding you unnecessarily as he guides you into whatever you're handling. He even loves walking up behind you and planting fluttering kisses along your jawline as he holds you by the waist and sways side to side, after you insist on doing the dishes because he helped you with cooking.

Sim Jaeyun, Jake, is excited about hanging out with you, no matter what you guys are doing. But he really likes songwriting with or about you.

Jake, as a trainee, really wanted to write song lyrics about the things he thought he could voice about once he became an idol, whenever that would be. But he focused more on his singing and dancing than songwriting, as that would be done with the other members.

That's just one reason why he loves writing songs with you; because it's between you and him, and it's not for the publicity of fans or critics who speculate what the song was about. It's simple. It was about the love you both shared. Before debut, he didn't write songs about love, but he was so fond of how you'd inspired him with romance.

Park Sunghoon is a bit of a gym bro. Let's be honest. He may not say it all the time, but his physique has visited the gymnasium many a time. It wasn't the gym he liked visiting with you, particularly, but he really enjoyed taking care of you and your health, physically and mentally. I think personally, he's big on taking care of yourself.

But that's pretty vague. More specifically, he enjoyed asking you to list the good parts of your day - those you were grateful for. If you were down and didn't have much to be thankful about, he would remind you all of the miracles you held in your life.

To take care of you physically, he would make you drink up water, he would make sure you were fed and he would really enjoy exercising with you. Not in the gym, but in a more personal place. Albeit your own bedroom or his dorm where there were pieces of exercising equipment, or it could be jogging along a route that you guys loved to walk down every now and again to calm yourselves.

All in all, Sunghoon liked to do healthy things with you. Eating, drinking, exercising, and always remembering there's a time to be thankful.

Kim Sunoo doesn't like to get through the day without doing something productive. He doesn't particularly like shopping, or working out, or things like that. But productive can also mean creating memories, because we all need those.

Also, we're all very conscious that Sunoo likes to take photos. If you're a baby engene, it's true! And he bestows them upon his fans with his beauty. But he loves even more taking you out to do just something other than sitting around all day, to create gorgeous memories, and he will encapsulate those into photographs.

Some of these he will keep to himself. Some of these he will send to you. Some of these, he will post on social media to put the memory everywhere. Sunoo really likes hearing you come up with new poses and captions.

But above all of those, he finds it so precious when he creates memories not through photographs, but in creating collages with them.

You're both kneeling on the floor, with a memory board layed out in front of you. Around it are a load of polaroid pictures and printed photographs, and you'd even printed off some captions you both found really cute. And he loved arranging them all with you, to put on the board and hang up in your room. He loves being productive in that way.

Yang Jungwon is a mature leader. During work days, he is tending to the members, keeping in close touch with the managers and focusing on the choreo and lyrics. On a day off, he would be simply relaxing with his band mates and lounging about.

But then you came into his life.

Days off could NOT be spent without his Y/N being with him to relax him. But when you are both just lying about and not interacting, he doesn't feel like he's spending quality time with you. That's when you both came across arts and crafts.

But if that sounds too old, you both like to watch some bad DIY vids (123 GO... 5-minute crafts... You know the channels) then you both like to laugh as you manage to make useless toys and hacks.

You both go out to the local store to by the bits and bobs required to make a bathbomb or something, and you both try your hardest and laugh as you mess up. And then you sulk together once you look at the misshapen unicorn dropping you ended up making, pouting like children. Damn, Jungwon doesn't look like the mature leader he has to be throughout the week, but you make him younger.

Nishimura Riki, or Ni-ki, is the Maknae of ENHYPEN. He likes to get outside and do something energetic or athletic. If not that, then at least something entertaining. So he absolutely adores playing games with you.

On a rainy day, it's building a fort and either playing video games or watching a movie. If it's windy, you're both making some crappy DIY kites to fly outside. If it's pure sunshine then it's going out to the beach or a field to play catch and paddle about. And in the evening, he would take you to a cinema/movie theatre or he would take you to an arcade.

It really doesn't matter. He'd even enjoy sneaking you to one of the dance rehearsal rooms to dance about with you to some of his songs, as well as other Western music pieces. You two could even make up your OWN choreography. He just likes doing something fun and lighthearted, as if you were both children just there for a good time, not a long time.

Choices Insiders June 2024

I completely forgot about the Insiders this month, and yesterday there just wasn't the time to get to it. So here we are now!

When I learned about this, my mind instantly tracked back to when Open Heart 2 & 3 was releasing and how things started getting, and I was worried about history repeating itself. Thankfully that doesn't look to have been the case.

I'm of mixed feelings about this one, originally I was hoping it would be a case of the MC already being a Firefighter, but once seeing the description for the first chapter and seeing that the Love Interest is going to be another boss Love Interest, I did sigh.

This is perhaps the only reason I would be willing to give the book a go as Cats are ALWAYS a win.

I have to admit, I completely forgot that there were two books releasing this month. I never actually finished Roommates with Benefits but may start fresh with this one. I remember seeing the announcement of it getting a spinoff and being surprised about it.

As for the image, I'm guessing that it is meant to be the CG for the Love Interest.

So in Roommates we got the bubbles, and now for Rivals we have this. I do wonder if sometimes they ever think about just doing the same as the It Lives Within team and going the full nudity route with characters.

I know for a fact that there is going to be a third Immortal Desires which I will not complain about, however I am SO BEHIND on BK2 (I've only played chapter 1), so definitely going to be catching up before BK3 has it's wide release.

I really thought that this would be a duology, but there are no complaints about a third.

I think rather than a third book that follows Kieran and MC, it would be better to have a spinoff that focuses on one of the other realms mentioned during BK2.

I wonder which stories they would be adding to, I remember people joking about a legacy sequel to The Royal Romance series that has the daughter as the MC, but if they are thinking of ways to add to the classic stories, then I wouldn't rule it out.

Looks as though there will be two books releasing in August, the first being the much awaited All Of Us which I am interested to see what it will be like. The next is a new title in the form of Plus One which going by the title and the background will be something wedding related.

I have to admit, the only book I am up to date on is The Deadliest Game. Hot Shot and Immortal Desires I am so many chapters behind on while with Guarded and Along Came Treble, it's one or two chapters.

Next Wide Release is The Ghost Of Us which I am really looking forward to! Then Filthy Rich which I imagine will be releasing in July.

This one I am looking forward to, if it is meant to be like It Lives then I am feeling good about it. This feels like a book that would be a good chance to bring back the Nerve System from It Lives. Really looking forward to Terror Fest when it begins it's Wide Release.

And technically you can only marry him if you play as female Robin but their dynamic is still just as romantic if you play as male Robin (they literally call each other their other half and m!Robin and Chrom have a valentine's day duo unit in the gatcha, and in the anthology manga m!Robin asks Chrom to make polygamy legal so he can also marry Chrom's wife and they can be a family) so most people play the game with the gay mod so they can still marry him as a guy. He's incredibly stupid ("yeah, let's set all our ships on fire then walk through a volcano, you're so smart, Robin" "I know you've had prophetic visions about killing me and our daughter came from the future to warn us it would happen but I'm sure THIS TIME it won't because of the power of our bonds") but also really sweet. In the summer DLC they're fighting on a beach and when he sees Robin get excited over a weird creature they found he immediately forgets about the battle and starts trying to make a bunch of crafts (and failing) and cooking food (and failing again) and writing "Chrom and Robin were here" in the sand so that Robin could have some nice beach memories. I'm obsessed with this man”
