Lucio is not a complex character, but not a good one either. The writers often justify his inexcusable behavior because of his stupidity—even though he killed his father and tried his mother next (but unsuccessful), makes deals with demons and The Devil, emotionally neglected Nadia, abuses Muriel as his executioner in the Coliseum, a narcissist, and a literal tyrant to Vesuvia.

    And honestly, why bother redeeming/justifying him at all? Just make a him a yandere. Make him a manipulator. Make him genuinely evil. It makes more sense cuz bro already looks like a menace to society and is a menace to his society 😭🙏
