I tested Krita and I liked it a lot, I think I'll use it from now on. I managed to get a decent grayscale on it, which was very rewarding.

For as long as I've been in the fandom I've been under the impression that most mcs I've seen are masc-leaning or presenting but my friends have experienced otherwise. I'd like to know what the distribution is like! (if you have multiple mcs just... enter for your main ig :v)

The fool is the first card of the twelve major Arcana, representing new beginnings / opportunities

Both Asra and Lucio needed a new body (either for lucio himself or the MC) And in the pact they made separately (with the devil (lucio) or with the magician (asra)), the fool "gave up" their physical form to create a new body (representing the "new beginning" aspect of their arcana) for either Lucio or the MC.

Think of it as the same thing that happens during Nadia's bad ending where she becomes the Devil, Lucio's bad ending where we becomes the Devil, and Julian's bad ending where he becomes the Hanged Man.

We are the Fool. If Lucio won and kept our body, he would've been the Fool. Our soul or essence or spirit or whatever is like...merged with the Arcana we represent. Jusr like how Julian is still Julian but is also the Hanged Man, and Nadia is still Nadia, but is also the Devil.

It's why we have such powerful magic (IIRC), because our abilities come from our link to the Fool Arcana.

You're right. Scout is the Fool's companion. Since we are the Fool. Scout is our companion. The Fool's realm is our realm. Unfortunately I don't know if it's merged with our gateway, or if they're the same thing, or if our gateway and our arcana realm are two separate spaces. I might've missed something somewhere but I'm too lazy to check.

So I don't understand some of the Arcana lore...like, where is The Fool and don't they have a realm? I thought it was said in one of the routes (Muriel's?) that every realm needed their ruler there? So how can The Fool be gone?

In Julian's Reversed Ending you meet Scout and you are in a realm that is not really theirs, but "sort off" is, which made me think that might have been The Fool's realm? Because of course The Fool has a dog companion (at least in the Rider-Waite deck) - and maybe Scout being there is enough?

I guess it was implied the MC's body is The Fool's, but that's strange, because the other Arcana can't really act in the real world, so why would they have a real body? That you can steal, apparently??

I'm probably thinking about this too much.
