This guy really Rocks!!!!!
Ordered this single from his site and in addition to the signed CD I got a guitar pick and sticker.
I ordered this a while ago and it took a long time to arrive. To my surprise Ron Keel also included a signed personal letter apologizing for the delay because of uncontrollable circumstances. To me, that proves this guy really cares about his fans. I really admire him for going above and beyond on that.
I am super excited it has finally arrived.
Like I Said Ron Keel ROCKS

This album gained the industry’s attention as it was produced by Gene Simmons of KISS for Gold Mountain Records in New York. Ron Keel…

Tuesday, March 15: Keel, “Speed Demon”
Ron Keel’s adjacency to much bigger stars (Yngwie Malmsteen, Gene Simmons, Tony Iommi) was far more interesting than most of the music he made with his namesake band.  But he was right there on the Sunset Strip as the scene was blowing up, and Keel’s albums kept track of the movement’s evolution from its ostensible Van Halen/Judas Priest hybrid into commercial hard rock, with Lay Down the Law and “Speed Demon” aptly representing the former.  The track was a prototypical catchy headbanger from the Shrapnel Records factory, with Ron yelping about his need for speed over Bryan Jay and Marc Ferrari’s shredding, and was definitely fun for what it was.  The timing was relevant, as this came shortly after he disbanded Steeler upon Yngwie Malmsteen’s departure, and shortly before he auditioned for Black Sabbath: “Speed Demon” had more than a small trace of Malmsteen’s fleet-fingered approach, and was more of a straightforward metal track than most of what Keel would deliver during their major label years under Gene Simmons’ tutelage, although Keel would actually rerecord it for The Right to Rock.  In that respect, the track served as both a representative example of what was going on as well as a bridge to what would soon follow.
