I know we collectively agree that Hiccup isn’t romantically inclined, and his getting married and having kids didn’t make sense in the epilogue, but consider: Hiccup getting married for political reasons.

It’s a marriage of alliance, which is recognized both by him and his partner, and they enter it without expectations of romantic involvement. Since they’re now married, they live in the same castle, spend time together, and Hiccup finds he really likes his spouse. They’re funny, get along with his friends, and has the same interests and values. They both probably speak multiple languages. She understands why Hiccup is so dedicated to making the Wilderwest better, and holds similar views. She’s a good politician (her job after all, was to be an ambassador). Hiccup likes spending time with them, and the feeling is mutual. They’re not in love, they have their own lives, but they’re dedicated to each other and eventually decide to raise children. They teach their kids how to train hawks and hunt with dragons, riding, history, the Languages, and all the necessary skills of their world. They’re not in love and they’re happy together.

I have to prepare myself for the possibility of them being a couple when considering game lore it's implied they do end up together, down the line.

However, we’ve had our vampire/human romances, and I am interested in knowing more about Alucard’s life post the original show. How did he and Greta live? How did he, Trevor, Sypha, and Greta live?

For Alucard's character in the show, it's compelling to examine a familial relationship, especially a paternal/familial one when Maria's story is considered. Daddy issues. Murderous daddy issues. Mothers killed by the church. Furthermore, if Alucard did have kids, what happened to them?

Let’s explore the consequences of immortality.

Alucard could have very well produced children with Greta (in the og, the village children called him father, and he didn't correct them), but they’re only a quarter vampire. Extended life doesn’t equal eternal life. What if Alucard outlived his children due to old age/getting sick and not murder/slaying?

What if he sees in Maria a daughter he cherished, a daughter he loves although she’s been dead for over 250 years? What if he misses being a parent?

We’ve already touched on vampires outliving their mortal lovers. Let’s get on vampires outliving their mortal children. M’kay?

Hello again, fellas. (And to whoever is actually interested in looking at my weird little AU-) Sanctuary has been on my mind lately and uhhh, I’d like to introduce you to some new characters!

Meet the Eventide Duo: REI and KAI!

I, like with Aster and Del, have never drawn them before, and because I honestly didn’t have it in me to do two full-body drawings with color and everything, doodling them was the next best thing. I’ve been thinking about these two a lot and just really wanted to get them down as a start. Soooo—this is their first pass and things are subject to change! (Please excuse the messiness-)

Rei (the Red) and Kai (the Blue) come from—okay this is kinda funny now that I’m writing it out—their AU was inspired by an FNF fan song that I heard awhile back. It was something like “Frostbite but Blue.” The person who made the song (I don’t remember their name off the top of my head) said they were going to post the lore, but as far as I know they never did, so my brain kinda took the concept and ran with it—making it into my own story. (Sorry to whoever that was-)

Rei is the fledgling god of the Sun and the Second Coming of Arceus. He ascended to godhood after his untimely death, returning to earth to protect the one he loves. Rei may look like a massive grump, but in reality, he's a ray of sunshine and one of the most warm-hearted and protective people you'll ever meet. Kai is still a Pokémon Trainer, but he’s also Rei's singular devotee. He's honestly pretty quiet for a Blue, if not a bit high-strung, but he's loyal and sweet, even if he has a bit of a hard time showing it.

The both of them worked together to survive the violent floods and rainfall that devastated their original home, and now live a quiet life together in Sanctuary, going on little adventures here and there to try and reclaim the life they lost bit by bit.

(Okay, time to tag my one fan. @100nebulas , I think you said you wanted more Sanctuary content in general that one time, so I guess you’re gonna be eternally tagged in these lmao. Hope you enjoy :])

There literally isn't enough vaultknight content / art, and it saddens me :^( I know one of the big reasons why there isn't content (ray/cism), and it is gross.

Like, I don't mind ghoulcy art / content, but I don't ship them romantically. I see them more as found family.
