Alyssa is the anthropomorphic embodiment of a box of chocolates and has a particular interest in confectionery - its history, how it's made, recipes for it, etc. While sweets are her favorite thing to eat, she enjoys food of all kinds and eats. She also enjoys all of the interests and hobbies of the system and frequently engages them to unwind or to distract themselves. She cycles through activities fairly quickly, so she's always doing a variety of things and is never bored. Alyssa is good at masking the system's "less palatable" symptoms like anger or low empathy, always appearing calm and polite. While she wouldn't consider herself an extrovert, this does mean she is better at handling social situations for the system, and at handling situations overall. When someone in the system needs hir to do something for them, sie does so happily, as sie likes to be helpful and never doubts hir confidence to do what is needed in the moment.

It's about time I put some love on Chetney's name because that gnome has been holding Bells Hells together and doing such a good job of it. In the past I thought that Orym was the voice of wisdom and the one who was keeping them all together but I think I was wrong. Chetney was incredible in the aftermath of the shard. He was exactly what the group needed in light of Liam's absence and he said everything the others needed to hear. In the beginning he was a joke character but he became so much more than that, he's the glue that makes sure they all stick together and without him they would be a mess.

I love that gnome and if he dies I'll be extremely sad about it

the ST fandom and specifically byler fandom makes me so happy because i have never been a part of a fandom that doesn’t hate on the female character(s) that get in the way of their main mlm ship before now. like i have never seen el hate in my life and that’s the way i want it to be. and i think (or at least i hope) that it’s showing how fandoms are maturing or maybe byler is just less toxic/misogynistic than other fandoms but god i rlly suffered from that internalised misogyny in my teens and i think it was highly related to the hate any female character that could be a threat to a ship would get. but we all love el so much and i’m so happy for it like i cannot imagine any of my moots hating on el i think it would start a war in the notes if someone did, and i just love her sm i’m so glad we appreciate her in fics, art, everything 💜

The world/universe of Wreck-it-Ralph is interesting and amazing when you consider that video game characters outside of our setting are essentially like actors in their own game, fulfilling what their programmed roles are to keep the game running and their players entertained.

What is even more intriguing is that the villain characters are not necessarily evil, they are playing their part in their game. Most can be docile or even friendly towards other characters when they are not doing their programmed job.

Can you imagine your favorite game and its characters behind closed doors when you are not playing it? What dynamics and friendships would they have? Bonus if they have relationships with characters outside of their native game, which is possible (see our main characters in WIR).

Imagine some of the most heartless villains in games are actually sweethearts outside of the job. Or kind characters having questionable behaviors. The possibilities are endless!

Not to mention what would they think of us, the players. Are they happy that we enjoyed and played their game? Are they bitter that we see them as playthings for our amusement, unaware of their sentient? Or are they simply indifferent to us?

Long story short: The WIR World is one HUGE Actor AU mostly for video game characters.

So obviously Percy and Vex immediately know that Gwen is a Teifling because of Percy’s Demon motel status, there’s really no question to either of them. Vox Machina and Zahra/Kashaw are also fully aware of this the moment she’s born. (Although Scanlon does like to make jokes early on) but naturally everyone else is immediately like “… did Vex cheat?”. The people of Whitestone are kinda split between that piece of gossip and “Percy made a deal with a demon” (Lol cute that ya’ll think it’s just one)

BUT as Gwen gets older and starts meeting people anyone that spends more than 2 minutes watching her is immediately just like “oh yea. That kid is Percy’s.” But especially Cass who is immediately like that is my brother. That is my brother as a child. A teifling child, no less.

Gwendolyn is an absolute heart melting sweetheart and also a little shit, just like her dad.
