update on the novi stars account!

they made a new post!? there’s allegedly going to be 2 new novi stars aliens coming out?? im like 30% sure that this is real

i wanted to add a pic of the novi star dolls to see if they look like already released ones

they responded to me in the comments abt looking at their recent which was the first photos

i asked them on their recent too if there’s a release date but they have yet to responded so we shall see!

First up we’ve got the other robot character from Novi Stars, Roe Botik

Then we’ve got our classic monster high robot girlies, Elle Eedee and Robecca Steam

As far as more recent releases, LOL OMG’s Gamma Babe gives spacegirl robot vibes

Bonus: LOL has a blind box series called Tiny Toys of mini robot figures! I love giving these to my full-size dolls

Capsule Chix is a discontinued line of more action-figure-style dolls, and their “HoloGlow” series was very robo-girl (these are still super cheap to get secondhand if anyone’s interested in collecting them)

If we’re talking vintage dolls, we’ve got to mention Mattel’s line of Spectra dolls (technically space-themed but I mean, they’ve got fully chromed bodies, the girls are robots in my book)

And as an honorable mention we’ve got upcoming Shadow High doll Berrie Skies who might not be a robot per-se but holy shit look at that circuit-board top and cable belt!

If you don’t mind, I’d love to see any robot dolls you by know of. Anything goes- I love robots and dolls so- anything for that would be appreciated

they say they did have a preorder + in storedrop for last yr on amazon(i believe walmart/target too) for an 11yr anniversary which seemed A LIL real bc i saw cmnts saying they ordered it, but at the same time it doesn’t bc i couldn’t find proof of ppl actually getting the package/doll

So, I received this stuff from a dolly trade!

First picture:  Four authentic (but factory second) Lanard Catwalk Kitty heads

Second picture: Two Catwalk Kitty knock-off heads (there are enough differences that I don’t think you could really call them ‘clones’), one of which is (well...was) on a MH clone body

Third picture: Five faux Novi Stars heads, none of which have inset eyes like real Novis

Fourth picture: Head is copy of Novi Stars Roe Botik, body is that ubiquitous dollar store Bratz-with-Barbie feet body, but in pink with glitter.  The paint is terrible, the hair is not so great, but the (one) eye looks like it was probably from the actual Novi Stars production, because it is so much higher quality than the rest of the doll.

Last picture: DML Kate Erikson/Frances O’Connor (from the movie Timeline) action figure.  Honestly, there will probably be a different head using this body...eventually.
