The highlight of my year was to find out McQueen's little #1 fan has a name and a mom who also has a name and is pretty much alive. I love that kid, she's unconditionally supportive and you have no idea how important of a role it played in my heart

Also we all know Blade would fight a Karen and it would be the kind of spectacle to watch while eating popcorn

Harvey telling the farmer it's their time for the annual check up before knowing them for a year is always funny to me. But the fact I keep drawing Asmodeus♡ with a big mouth and fangs made me read the dialogue more like "that's scary, please stop" rather than "okay onto the next part".

Anyway, I have never drawn Harvey before so please enjoy my attempt. (gives him a lil gray. as a treat. to me. the gray is for me.)

Young Hot Rod is a drake, fast, agile and equipped with fins in order to swim and catch fish. On his back are two skin panels made to catch the sun and warm him up when sunning, or to cool him down faster after using his fire breath.

marcille's sky fish is also a real monster, although it's a cryptid rather than mythical or folkloric -- they're also called "flying rods" or "sky rods", and they're [probably] the product of insects caught on film with longer exposure times

i think it's neat that for the artificially created monster kui picked a cryptid that's an artefact of modern recording technology
