i know a million people have probably talked about it but i fucking love Handsome Bob in RockNRolla and how everything around him is handled. I love he's just got this FACE that everyone is weak to, I love that One-Two is the ONLY one who doesn't know he's gay, I love how after the Mysterious Final Night together Bob is completely calm and chill with One-Two but One-Two is having.... this weirdass reaction??? that moment he sees Bob chatting up the lady at the party and just interrupts bc he can't help himself

Mumbles pointing out that Bob is by far the best of them all, and also basically asking Bob to honeytrap the lawyer AND THEN HE DOES AND HE DOES SO FUCKING WELL, THE FUCKING LAWYER IS LIKE 😍😍😍 its so good

and after One-Two gets over his weird almost jealous panic, everyone is back to being in love with Handsome Bob but now Bob can tell lil gay jokes with his pals

Have you ever watched RockNRolla (2008) directed by Guy Ritchie? Tom Hardy plays Handsome Bob 🥰 At the end of the movie they announced a sequel.... well, we're still waiting!! So unfair 😠 At least they're talking about starting to work on Sherlock Holmes 3..

oh i havent heard of it!! i cant lie i dont actually like guy ritchie's style that much (which is ironic i know) but i looked into this movie and it sounds pretty good so i might check it out at some point 😳 bruhh yeah the "there's gonna be a sequel" spiel MAN. eminem voice i dont believe that

Good question!!! It's a tough choice but I think I would have to go with Handsome Bob in RocknRolla! I think it sets up young Eames nicely with a criminal backstory where it could splinter off into so many different directions to get to the Eames we all know and love (almost as much as Arthur) in Inception - I'm very fond of the fics where Eames and Arthur are in London and for some reason or another end up meeting up with One Two and Mumbles - and Arthur learning about "Handsome Bob" is always gold!!!

When I first saw phantom of the opera I was a very sad very troubled 11 year old. I wrote an unfinished 40 chapter epic on quizilla which included lestat the vampire and full block quotes of evanescence lyrics. It was epic and attempt to give some empathy to the villain phantom because i always thought he deserved it

My fiance showed me rocknrolla which is starring gerard butler and tom hardy recently

You might remember that Tom hardy is basically my gender identity since mad max but also peaky blinders

And it feels like sometimes I waited 20 yrs for someone to understand since 2004 phantom came out

ROCKNROLLA (2008): Listless Guy Ritchie gangster movie about two Cockney hoods with names like DICK TRACY characters, One-Two (Gerard Butler, awful) and Mumbles (Idris Elba, barely present), who get scammed in a real estate deal with tycoon/crime lord Lenny Cole (Tom Wilkinson, perfunctory) and his lieutenant Archy (Mark Strong, who also narrates) and find themselves embroiled in a bigger scam involving a Russian billionaire (Karel Roden), his sardonic accountant Stella (Thandiwe Newton), One-Two's gay mate Handsome Bob (Tom Hardy), and Lenny's gay rock star stepson Johnny Quid (Toby Kebbell, the only one in the cast with any verve).

I've now watched this movie four times since its American debut, but the plot remains nigh-impenetrable even with Archy narrating the whys and what-fors, and for all its rapid-fire editing and self-conscious eccentricity, it's mostly unfunny, visually flat, and frustratingly dull. All that breaks the desaturated tedium are Ritchie's very awkward attempts to demonstrate that he's not homophobic (in the most homophobic ways possible) and an amusing scene in which two Russian gangsters flirt by showing off their respective scars. Ritchie does at least include one (1) female character with more than two lines of dialogue (Newton) — a red-letter day for a director deeply committed to the sausage fest — along with one of the most uncomfortably perfunctory straight sex scenes in the history of cinema. CONTAINS LESBIANS? It's a Guy Ritchie movie, which means it constantly struggles to remember that women exist at all. VERDICT: Arguably the weakest of Ritchie's British gangster films, a laborious, mean-spirited, unrewarding slog. The threatened sequel never materialized — just as well.
