Stream schedule this weekend

I've been neglecting promoting my streams on Tumblr lately, but I got a couple really exciting streams happening this weekend on YouTube for the spooky season, and I would love it if you could tune in!

Ace Attorney Investigations (Pt. 6) - Five Nights at Faraday's [Sat October 12, 1pm PST]

This Saturday I'm giving the investigation reigns to my evil doppelganger SpookBox, who promises to behave as she and my partner @shoucloudlord solve a kidnapping with the help of a self proclaimed master thief!

Mega Man 8 (Pt. 3) - ALL JUMP AND NO SLIDE MAKES ROCK A DULL BOT [Sun October 13, 2pm PST]

And while my arch nemesis has fun solving mysteries with my partner, I will instead be fighting for my life in the most infamous stage of Mega Man 8... I may have given myself the short end of the stick here. Let's hope I can jump jump and slide slide out of this one alive.

Oh and as a bonus reminder, I've promised that if I get to 1K subscribers by the end of the year I have to stream the infamous Mega Man DOS games to completion, and we are very close to that goal! So if you want to see me suffer through those, please subscribe!

Rockman/Mega Man 8 Intro Cel HD Scan Cleanup and Original Version

Happy 35th Anniversary, Mega Man! (and 26th to Rockman 8)

I struggle to have the time to be one of the talented part of the fandom that creates such awesome artwork for anniversary dates and special events, as much as I wish I could. Kudos to you all who have drawn something for this anniversary! And while I racked my brain for what to post on this day, I realized I never really did a high quality scan of this cel, which I’ve had now for nearly 4 years. In fact, the original scan wasn’t even completely stitched together to cover it all. So I’m rectifying that in 720 DPI, coming in at about 7500x6500 pixels. Now, the original has a ton of paint splotches, and as great a piece as it is, shows a little wear from the decades. So, as I have been touching up settei in these Scan of the Day posts, I decided to give it a little clean up, which you see in the first image. I won’t claim to have fully restored it to it’s utmost former intended glory, but I also at least didn’t do this:

Maybe not as good as redrawing and reanimating the whole intro, but enjoy a single frame of our beloved Blue Bomber as crisp as it could have been in high definition. My Mega Man gift to you.

For those who think I have artificially, unintelligently destroyed the look of my cel in the name of beauty, well, you can still enjoy the splotches of paint as it truly appears without airbrushing on the original HQ scan in the second image.

Happy birthday to the franchise most beloved to me, and for all it has brought and given to me, which includes interacting with all of you!

Did you know that Sega re-released several Sega Saturn games across Japan to any game that met an unknown criteria? In my honest opinion, it may be a guess, but I can only assume that any game that sells well earns a label amongst the Satakore line-up (Sega Saturn Collection).
