Jupiter, going by her manga appearance and brief dialogue in the games, is kinda like Jasper from Steven Universe. She’s the Muscle of the three admins, has devout loyalty to Cyrus’ cause, and is a social Darwinist who delights in beating up weaklings (both in a Pokémon battle and in an actual fistfight). There’s also some mild potential for her to be related somehow to Fantina, considering their similar hair.

I think she joined Team Galactic initially just for the chance to get paid to do crime, and got way too invested in Cyrus’ nihilist ideology to the point that she believes her immoral actions won’t matter once Cyrus remakes the world, so she can fight whoever she wants in the meantime with no consequences whatsoever.

Mars, by contrast, is more of a tactician, a schemer, the type that collects blackmail about her coworkers just in case. Her confident and aloof persona hides a powder keg of anger with a dangerously short fuse. Also, her involvement in Team Galactic ties into another headcanon I have for her: She’s Silver’s cousin. (This seems to be a fairly widespread bit of fanon, with Roark often being theorized as another potential cousin, though I think his hair being similar is more of a coincidence).

Mars is absolutely the smug spoiled Mafia Princess that Giovanni and Ariana love more than their son. Mars’ actual parents are completely normal, and either don’t know about their daughter’s job description or disowned her. Ariana never liked her sister much, and is delighted to see the apple rolled far away from the tree. She even shares her Godfather’s appreciation for normal-type Cat pokemon.

Although she certainly loves her Uncle Gio and Auntie Ari, Mars is still completely loyal to the Galactic cause, and probably became a double agent between them and Team Rocket. Either Giovanni trusts his precious darling angel niece enough to never suspect her of treachery, or knows that every word of “secret Galactic intel” she gives him is utter bullshit, and couldn’t be more proud of her regardless.

Best Pokémon Villains Tournament- Individuals Bracket- Round 1: Match 15

In the final match of the Round, a battle of some of the closest advisors of their respective Team leaders takes place- one Rocket takes on the Galaxy!

Archer leads the remnants of Team Rocket after Giovanni's disappearance following his defeat. A calculating man, Archer spearheads a very successful takeover of the Goldenrod Radio Tower, arguably a bigger operation than any Giovanni pulled in Kanto in the original games! Armed with a Houndoom, Archer and Ariana may not be successful in bringing back Giovanni, but they do run an organised and effective Team Rocket, in no small part thanks to Archer's leadership.

Saturn mirrors Archer in a lot of ways, being a high ranking, blue haired admin of his Team, and continuing to lead the remnants of the group after the disappearance of their leader! Unlike Archer though, his leadership isn't focused on bringing back Cyrus, he seems to regret some of the actions of the leader and the Team, choosing not to join other remnants of Team Galactic led by Charon in their own plots. Interestingly, outside of the games Saturn is also potrayed as a woman multiple times, inconsistent with his game appearances, though that doesn't stop her from being a powerhouse of Team Galactic all the same!

one of my favourite details about silver is that his relationship to giovanni wasn’t first revealed in the celebi event but in post game frlg. on island 5 of the sevii islands within the rocket base, a scientist asks the player (only if playing as red… sorry leaf) if they’re giovanni’s son. he quickly corrects himself by saying that can’t be right since giovannis kid “has red hair”. also within the base is a female admin whos team consists of muk, arbok and vileplum, indentical to arianas team in johto who we all know is extremely commonly believed to be silvers mum.

silver has such a dope character arc… being mentored by the champion lance who himself, has a strong sense of justice, particularly when it comes to pokemon welfare while also being the son of the most well known antagonist in the franchise, giovanni, who’s organisation literally steals, traffics and kills pokemon. he was abandoned by his entire family and despite trying so hard to not be anything like his father, displayed so many similarities until the player and lance came into his life. the way he was so chronically sidelined (like much of johto) until masters came along always enrages me lol

a/n: Hi! Hello! Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all! I am back in action with posting! I think I want to shift to writing mostly Yandere themed fanfics (to play more into the name/theme of the blog) so with this post my ask box is officially open again and I look forward to writing for you all again.

You’ve been a part of Team Rocket for many years now, in fact, it’ll be your 5 years in a few days. You were basically an admin, you were above your fellow henchmen but below the main four admins.

You didn’t mind, it meant less talking for you.

But recently you noticed something…off.

You started to see less and less of your fellow peers. Usually grunts that you would hang out with after shifts started to avoid you like the plague. And you began to see more of the admins. 

Ariana would accompany you whenever you had missions, never leaving you alone or allowing you to capture pokemon.

Proton and Petrel were like your personal bodyguards, you couldn’t even breathe without them being near you. 

And Archer…he was the worst.

You could be teaching new grunts about the new routes they would be working and the schemes that they will be working.

“Y/n. The Boss said that would be too dangerous for you..”

“Y/n. I need you to be alongside me for this mission. Boss’s orders.”

“Y/n.  Boss recommends this change in your uniform.”

You wanted to scream. It was always what the boss wanted for you!

You rarely got to see the male, he was always cooped up in his office or galavanting off in that damned gym of his. It was beyond irritating.

Giovanni was your boss, the big scary boss of Team Rocket/Rainbow Rocket. And you only saw him a maximum of three times, and the most recent time was two weeks ago.

You were being briefed on a mission, you were being sent off with Jesse, James and Meowth, a trio you loved working with so much due to their spunk and their energy. While you were walking past him, you felt eyes on you. When you looked up you locked eyes with Giovanni. 

It felt wrong locking eyes with your boss, especially since so many people feared him.

However when you looked into his eyes...you saw something different.

Not only that, you felt like there were eyes on you at all times, even when you were in your most private of settings. You felt like he had someone watching your every mood so he knew everything.

And that day in his office, the way he looked at you solidified the thoughts you were thinking.

He stared at you with emotions you can't describe, one could only describe it as obsession.

So you quickly ran to go join Jesse and James. 

You considered those three to be your only sense of normalcy, as they were the only ones who didn’t run to avoid you. 

Ever since that day of the meeting, the rest of the team seemed to officially separate themselves from you. You would walk up to hold a conversation with some you thought were your friends and they would sneer at you and walk away.

Some who even hold fear in their eyes as they saw you approaching and even averted their gazes.

You were walking with Jesse and James through the team rocket headquarters, expressing your feelings about this whole situation.

“I don’t know Jesse..I feel weird about this..no one else gets treated like this..”

“No you’re valid in your feelings darling…The boss is usually a cold fellow.”

Jesse had a hand on your shoulder as she talked to you. You sighed and ran a hand through your hair. It was stressing you out as you continued to think about it.

Why were you the only one being singled out?

Were you going to be fired? Or worse, were you going to be excuted because you knew too much?

James could sense your stress and wrapped an arm around your shoulder to try and calm you down. It was all becoming too much and you were really thinking about quitting.

"G-guys..I think I should quit."

"I- well I would hate to see you go sweetheart, but if you're uncomfortable you should.

“For once, I agree with Jesse. It’s strange that the admins would show this much attention to-”

“Y/n.”

The three of you freeze and you slowly turn to face Archer, he had opened the door that led to the hallways to Giovanni’s office. You felt a chill go down your spine as you turned to look at Jesse and James who both gave you small waves and smiles as they left.

You went to follow Archer as he led you to the office. 

You had a bad feeling come over you as Archer approached the door, he gave you a small smile before opening the door for you. 

“The Boss is inside waiting for you. He said it was urgent.”

You nodded at him and walked into the room.

"Oh. And I wouldn't think about quitting, Y/n."

You froze in your spot. Turning back to face Archer.

He only gave a dark smirk "You're Special."

Archer left you in the hallway and you were left to walk to the office by yourself.

His office was dark, it was quiet besides the purring of Persian, who greeted you at the door. 

“Good Afternoon, Y/n..please take a seat.”

You walked over to the seat in front of his desk, watching as he slowly turned in his chair, his legs crossed as he stared ahead at you.

Giovanni wasn’t an ugly man, he was very attractive actually. But there was something about him that was just terrifying to you. And not just because he was your boss.

there was something…darker lurking behind his eyes.

"Welcome, Y/n." His voice was the same as usual, cocky as hell. But there was an undertone in his voice, one that you couldn't recognize at all.

“I know you’re wondering why I called you here, darling.” he started, not breaking eye contact with you at all. The pet name was new, he usually only called you grunt or you girl.

Not Darling.

“The truth is, I’ve been keeping an eye on you since you first became a part of Team Rocket. A young woman like yourself…joining a dangerous organization like this is rare.” 

Giovanni stood up and came around his desk. “I feel like you’re destined to be more…” He smirks and walks over to you, stopping a few feet away.

“W-what do you mean?..” You asked and Giovanni chuckled at your question. 

“I want you to be mine. Simply put.” 

You shot up straight in your chair, staring at Giovanni with widened eyes. “What!?”

“Don’t be surprised. You’re perfect. You’re a great worker, you don’t allow anyone to control you, you continue to do amazing things. And I need you permanently beside me.”

Giovanni walks over to you and places a hand under your chin. “You belong beside me. We could be a power couple together.”

You backed away from him, making a beeline towards the door, only to be blocked by Persian. The Pokémon knew how its master felt about you, and therefore was going to help its master keep you around. 

"Don't you run, Y/n. It's not like you can go anywhere. Everyone in team rocket knows of your special promotion~"

You went to go around Persian by reaching for your own Pokémon, you weren't going down without a fight.

But it seems your boss had other plans.

You heard Giovanni sigh and the sound of a Pokeball opening.

“MewTwo. Use Psychic.”

You barely had time to get out the door before you felt your body be lifted in the air and be turned back around to face Giovanni.

He held a smirk on his face as he commanded MewTwo to bring you closer to him. You get brought back directly to him and he pats your cheek.

“I’ll let everyone know you’ve been promoted. They are to refer to you as Admin Y/n. You are to report directly to me, if someone speaks to you out of term, if someone is rude. You. Tell. Me.”

He says sternly, before placing both hands on your cheeks. You stared at him scared out of your mind seeing the sinister grin on his lips. His eyes held pure obsession, greed, like a child who just got their hands on a toy they had been wanting for years now.

And his next words scared your even more.

Family. To Ariana, it's a term that has been horribly mangled and twisted over the years.

Her mother and father had been family, and yet they had forfeited their only daughter over to a monster, swayed by greed and the Masked Man's honeyed words. (Weren't families supposed to stick together?)

Her and the other abducted children had been family, but the Masked Man's icy rule kept them in line, discipline and punishment looming overhead like executioner's guillotines, a pair of hungry jaws threatening to rip them apart from each other. (Weren't families supposed to be loving, kind, and supportive?)

And now, after Rocket and Giovanni helped Ariana pick up the pieces of her psyche, the Executive finally understands. Even when Archer dumps endless piles of disciplinary reports on her desk, even when Proton tracks blood into her spotless office, even when Petrel reprograms her damn Murkrow to sing annoying jingles from the radio...and even when loyal admins and grunts badger her with unnecessary questions, requests, complaints...

Despite her strict, impassive demeanor, Ariana would go to bat for any of them. She would even die for some of them. For better or worse, the Executive has cast her lot in with this band of broken souls and outcasts, committed wholeheartedly to Rocket's vision, to keeping everyone together and unified towards the cause.

Against all odds, Ariana has finally found a family here. And she wouldn't trade her allegiance to Rocket--in all its twisted, imperfect glory--for anything in the world.

It feels like up until recently only people who shipped Gio/Ghetsis were me and my friend. It's awesome to see more people get into them!! Pealse, do share more of your hcs about them, raunchy or not. Also qurious how you see admins react to an Unovan out of all people stealing their boss' attention

Not me already thinking that they look good together back around 2020/2021 and thought I was also alone on this (I only got obsessed when I read that one fic of em here)

A few hcs under cut

They sparingly use pet names (they're too old and way too prideful and "mature" for that), they mostly refer to each other with their full first names though during more casual convos, they do use shortened versions of each other's first name. But during moments when they're truly alone and/or feeling very affectionate, they would occasionally call each other dear, dearest, darling, my king (mostly from Ghetsis), my queen (from Giovanni, especially when Ghet is dressed up all pretty. He doesn't mind being called a feminine term of endearment. To him, it just means he's just that gorgeous) and certain Italian and Japanese terms of endearment (from Gio obviously). Some may argue that the way they affectionately refer to each other with their surnames can be counted as pet names.

It's no secret that Ghetsis' anger is absolutely terrifying and Arceus have mercy if you are ever on the receiving end of it. However, Gio has found a way to calm him down greatly. He just have to gently hold and massage his left hand and kiss the back of it as if he's courting him. If that doesn't fully subdue him, then an arm wrapping around his waist to pull him closer and a short but passionate kiss on the lips will 99% will. Anyone witnessing this will just be surprised at how fast Gio can quell his wrath and frankly, just how bold this guy is to seduce Ghetsis.

Before getting together, they'd think they're both manipulating each other. Upon getting together, they'd still think that they're just using each other. Hell, they could get married and everything and they'd still believe that this relationship is nothing more than a scheme to control each other. But despite that, even though they believe that they are just using the other for their own agenda, the casual fascination they have for each other's interests and hobbies, the slight flutter whenever they do something romantic together, the pang of jealousy whenever the other is being too close with someone else, the lustful desire to get closer and closer whenever they get caught in heated passions, the yearning to have someone so like-minded and equally strong to rule all of existence with; all of these don't lie. Deny it all they want but they have caught horrible feelings for each other and it's only a matter of time before the truth eventually escapes one of them. That will be the day when the two cruelest villains will shut down as the fact becomes clear, they are undoubtedly, inexplicably, and truthfully in love.

And regarding the rocket admins AKA Gio's number 1 simps on what they think about their boss dating the most feared crime boss in Unova:

short answer: they are all jealous in varying degrees but they try to remain cordial and professional for their boss.

long answer:

Archer - Man, he's not taking this too well being the Gio-obsessed guard dog he is. He mostly looks like he's unbothered when on the job but once he clocks out, he cycles through the four stages of grief (he has yet to reach acceptance) at least 10 times a day. Among the 4 admins, he's the one who is the most badly affected by this. He'd even try to find ways to separate them but of course he'd end up getting reprimanded by Gio later on. Perhaps one day, they'd break up and have his boss back. For now, he will stick to that delusion as much as he could.

Ariana - I may have a contradicting headcanon for her compared to some of ya'll. Among the 4 admins, she is the least affected and the least jealous. She and Gio were once together so it's a surprise she's not as upset about this like Archer. That's mostly because that she's had her fill with being with him in the past and after everything that happened since the initial downfall and revival of Team Rocket, she slowly drifted away considering how much Gio valued growing stronger on his own and was more focused on the team than her or even their own child (she's not a better parent than Gio but she still cares for Silver the same way Gio does). While she does still greatly respect him for his strength, ability, and charisma and is mildly jealous that he has found someone else, she has mostly accepted that what they had was long gone and she's fairly happy for them now; even when he has a new lover, she will still be loyal to him even if the fire they had has been snuffed out.

Proton - On one hand, he is not happy about his boss having a lover, more so that this lover is the boss of an enemy team overseas of all people. On another, if the boss is now no longer in the market, then this is his chance to shoot his shot with Archer. He was initially really jealous at first but the jealousy wore off and is replaced with distrust and suspect on the Unovan. He supposes that he shouldn't overstep and just let them be as long as his boss doesn't get harmed (even if he still slightly wishes it was him). If he can't have Gio, maybe he can just go after his other crush though Archer is now extremely distraught with the situation, he decides to just wait it out for now before making a move (waiting it out is not gonna work, go for it already Proton so that Archer can stop crying in his sleep every night).

Petrel - While not as jealous as Archer, he does ponder about how it would be if it were him. He does wish as well that the boss would even look at him like that. He did contemplate that he should try disguising as the Plasma boss but discarded that idea because of course Gio can see right through that. He is still wary about the two's relationship, but he tries not to let it get to him too much compared to a certain teal haired rocket admin.

And lastly (suggestive warning) :

I did say in that one headcanon that a kiss on the lips can calm Ghetsis down 99% of the time. Well what if that doesn't work either? The final step now is for Gio to drag Ghetsis somewhere private and fuck the anger out of him. Old Dennis can't be livid now that he's too tired, contented, and intoxicated from being dicked down, creamed, and pleased expertly by mafia man.

Gold's mother used to be a housewife up until his father left them. She ended up becoming an accountant, which is why she's so good with managing the earnings from Gold's Pokémon career. Tragically, she still deposits money into his account post-mortem as a way to keep to a routine.
