Bunch of ouppy doggies!!

Dook talks about his family very fondly and brings them up a good bit, so i got inspired to make him a bunch of siblings :3

Naming conventions are themed after titles in a royal court since Dook comes from Duke, which is a royal title

Mari (from marquis/marquess), Dutch (from duchess (despite duke being the male version of duchess lol)), Curtsy (like a little bow), Dook (from duke lol), and Lady (self explanatory)

I never thought I’d post this drawing that I did of “Dook’s dad”, but here he is. My HC is that Dook’s dad is actually a very intelligent man, and he learned through his son that there is more to life than school and research. He met his eventual wife on the univeristy campus that he teaches physics at. Before Dook, he’d spend most of his day on research projects and lecturing at Duke University, hence where his son eventually got his name from. His father named his son after the most important part of his life, which at the time, was being an affluential professor at one of the most prestigious universities. I wanted to created a bit of backstory as to where his name came from. The eventual misspelling happened overtime, as Dook never remembered how to spell his name as “Duke”. He couldn’t understand how “-uke” also makes the “-ook” sound. His parents didn’t mind, it made his name more special in that way, so they just let him go with it, since that was the spelling that was sticking with him.

I wanted this kind of “foil” character dynamic between him and his dad. Dook is intellectually challenged, and having a parent who is quite the opposite makes for a good character development plot. His dad may possibly be autistic, just like Dook is.

Unlike most peoples’ HC, Dook is the first introduction to music within the family. He introduced his parents into a world they have yet to step foot in. His interest in space was fostered by his father’s work, and while he will never go into that profession, he can appreciate it in his own way. His parents are very supportive of him. They love their son, and are willing to do what they can to have him grow up into a beautiful person (dog-person?) with dreams and aspirations who treat others well.

Wow, I also did not expect to write this much either. Well, there’s essentially my summarized backstory of Dook’s dad. What do you think? It takes a completely different direction than most I’ve read.

I just reworked my old fursona into a rockafire explosion type animatronic character, and now im creating lore. Like lore about how he moved on from his old band to create a new one, his origins, how he's conscious in the first place. I have concepts for a bunch of other ones too im refining designs and atp I might make an ask blog to catalogue the lore im so invested all of a sudden. Here he is

i am cringe but i am free... i was playing around with some family dynamics for rae characters and decided rolfe's dad was wolfman. none of the other animatronics i could think of could reasonably be his mom, though, so i decided to make my own! i decided on the name sandy sweetheart for her with some help from a server i'm in. rolfe takes after her a lot and they maintain a good relationship, unlike him and his father D: i hope yall like her!!

I think he'd be a seasonal side show meant to be a more bubbly and excitable person for Rolfe to bounce jokes off of. Wasn't much of a hit due to the clown vibes not being as enjoyable for kids as ppl expected.

I might change this one up a bit, but this is the second character i have a solidified design for. She's probably going to go under a lot of changes but i like the softish yellow-purple color pallate. The band covers a lot of rock subgenres, so it's important they have unusual instruments available. She is one of the more popular bandmates since she plays a lot of violin solos during intervals
