! These are simply my own personal headcanons for my beloved survivors. I get those vibes from them and think those classes would fit them perfectly !

Mirrored ego Au

Au where Nick and Keith are spies from apposing spy agencies and are rivals.

They both live with Ellis and are oblivious to each others identities. But Ellis knows both of their identities, because he is apart of the main criminal duo that they fight.

Everyone's deal under the cut:

Nick: He is one of the best that his agency has to offer. He is cunning and secretive, with a chill attitude. He is calm and collected, until he runs into Agent Clover (Keith). Clover's ability to do stupid things in the middle of high stakes operations and get away scot free makes Nick hate his guts, even if Clover gets the job done as well as Nick does. Pair that with Clover's hyperactive attitude and the fact he never stops talking and it's not a great time for Nick. Nick's free time is usually spent with his roommates, Ellis and Keith, who he gets along with well.

Ellis: He is apart of a criminal duo called "True Reflection" along with Zoey. They are a criminal group that steals stuff from rich people and gives it to the poor. But they have been labelled as terrorists due to the fact they kill said rich people a lot (and evil organization leaders but the government doesn't let the news talk about that). They claim to be a reflection of their victims cruelty, which is why they're victims are killed in morbidly fitting ways. Oil CEO's are set alight, evil organising leader that was ocean themed would be thrown to sharks, etc. Outside of the murdering, Ellis runs an auto shop with his friend Keith and finds it hilarious that Nick and Keith get along when not disguised.

Coach: He is Nick's handler, he is well respected old field agent (Agent 100) that decided that he'd keep on working. Nick is his best agent, despite his rivalry with Keith. Coach would mediate the fight himself if he was aloud near the active mission area, but his suggestions of peace fall on Nick's deaf ears.

Rochelle: She is a reporter that ALWAYS gets close to the action. She knows how to get herself out of the action but spy's tend to freak out when a civilian runs head first into danger so Nick and Keith try to "rescue" her a lot. She has a good relationship with Ellis and Zoey as civilians which is why they don't just run when Rochelle caches up to them. Because her finding them is inevitable. She is also the reason True Reflection gave themselves voice changers so she, specifically, doesn't find out. She is engaged to Francis.

Louis: He is a gadget maker for Keith's organization (he's not in the field but people call him Agent Firewall anyway), He lives for making new things, but knows better then to get attached to anything sent onto the field. Especially if Keith gets it. He also goes to the shooting range in his spare time, likes to test his weapons there too, so people avoid the range when he goes in there.

Bill: He is a retired agent (previously named spy 112) from Nick's organization who keeps ending up in the middle of cases or high action fight scenes. He doesn't mind because it "keeps him on his toes". He follows the news and is sad that the world has gone to such shit that the mass murderers have a point. He knows Zoey as a civilian and her secret identity, but knows exposing her criminal identity would only end badly.

Francis: He is an undercover police officer who is not being paid enough to deal with these "big shot" spy's shit. He just want's to infiltrate a criminal organization in peace. He is engaged to Rochelle.

Zoey: She is apart of a criminal duo called "True Reflection" along with Ellis. She was the one who thought of the idea to steal from rich people and give to the poor. But after the first few heists, came to the realization that the problem wouldn't go away until the cause did. She also came up with the calling card. A mirror laid next to the victim or vice versa, with "Look into me and see your reflection." written onto the mirror.

Keith: He is one of the best that his agency has to offer. His innate luck and integrity make him the most trusted among his peers. But Spy 151 (Nick) seems to have nether of those things. 151 is constantly angry at Keith, says that he "endangers the mission", like Keith didn't know what he was doing. So Keith likes to push his luck on purpose when 151 is around, which doesn't help their spy relationship at all. their civilian relationship is quite good, not that Keith knows that.

Keith (Agent Clover) works for The Royal Agency Of Royal Investigation

Nick (Spy 151) works for The Federal Bureau Of Counter Intelligence

Unpopular opinion or whatever, but I do not like Ellis x Nick. Nick is 35 years old, Ellis is 23. Ellis would've been 5 when Nick was graduating High School. I find the pairing a little weird tbh

Also, age aside, even with their interactions, it just feels more familial than romantic. It's portrayed that Ellis is seen like a younger brother to Nick and Rochelle, and like a son to Coach. I wish I had more people that agreed with me on this topic. I also don't think Nick is in a spot where he's capable of a relationship. That ego and persona he puts up would make it very difficult to have a healthy relationship with ssomeon, since he has this constant blockade up.

What I will agree on that I've seen is Nick and Francis. I can see something there. Maybe they could form a bond, maybe they were exes, who knows! I could see them having something. I also like the canon relationship of Ellis and Zoey. I think they're cute. Or Ellis and Keith. I think Ellis has the BIGGEST crush on his best friend.

Oooh good question!

Bill: He's one of the most famous and respected actors out there. He's been in tons of shows and movies and everyone knows his voice when they hear it. Will happily take selfies with fans and give autographs when requested.

Louis: Is a budding actor and finally getting out there (Left 4 Dead was his big break, he's hoping to get more roles after this). A very outgoing actor who wants to get alone with all his costars.

Zoey: Has been in a few B rated movies but nothing too big. Like Louis, Left 4 Dead was her big break. She hops to land more big name roles and be just as respected and known as Bill. Cringes at her fanboys who have posted lewd fanart of her. Is dating costar Francis.

Francis: has been in a few movies before Left 4 Dead, but isn't as well known as Bill. But he has a pretty large fan base so that alone makes him happy. Is dating costar Zoey.

Coach: second biggest star, almost up there with Bill. He mainly does voice roles but will happily take on acting roles on camera. Known for his cheerful laugh and caring personality. Donates most of his paychecks to charities.

Rochelle: Her acting surprises everyone, because she gets so into her roles. She believes the more you immerse yourself both that character, the more positive the reviews. Is known best for her role in a movie where she is an abused housewife but manages to get revenge on her asshole husband in the end.

Nick: Best known for his roles in violent movies, usually as the villain. But usually takes the time to post on social media and interact with his fans, and posting pictures of him and his husband, Ellis.

Ellis: Best known for his southern accent in voice acting roles. But he has his own YouTube channel where he'll post himself playing video games when he's not auditioning for roles. Married to costar, Nick Mancini.

Nick & Zoey (Left 4 Dead)

Nick was... God, he was so proud of her. He had never been so in love with someone before. For the longest time, he always thought that love was just another thing that could be earned with money, but... Nick realizes he was so, so wrong, and what he felt for that woman — well, that definitely was not love. She was awful to him and even worse for him; Nick can finally see that now. It’s a shame it took a virus wiping out most of the planet for that to come to light, though. Bringing his attention back to Zoey, however, Nick realizes something else.

He couldn’t remember the last time was so genuinely... happy. In fact, he had never met anyone who truly made him feel like he belonged anywhere.

It’s funny. Nick had never imagined that he would be able to find happiness in a zombie apocalypse. Miracles of miracles, though, the world had given him the chance to meet Zoey. And this girl — she... brought light into his life, and — wow, he never thought he’d ever hear himself say something so... wishy-washy.

You know what, though, why should that be a bad thing? Even if he couldn’t admit it right now, that didn’t make the facts any less true. And the fact is... Zoey was the best thing that had ever happened to him, and she... completed him. There was no other way to put it. That was it. He would be completely lost without her.

In meeting her, Nick finally felt like he had a place where he could call home.

I was really nervous to post this for two reasons: one, this is my very first time posting anything. And two, I’m not all that confident in my writing. I did think this would be the perfect first post, though.

This little piece of writing is part of a Left 4 Dead story I’m working on and — surprise, surprise! — it’s centered around my two favorite survivors, Nick and Zoey. Really, though. Why are they so underrated, as characters and a pairing? They are so precious!

So, um... yeah, if you liked this little piece of work and are in need of more Noey content (since that’s the official ship name now), then this is the place for you!
