BOYCOTT SQUISHMALLOW TO HELP PALESTINE

Jazwares, the toy manufacturing company best known for it's plush toys Squishmallows, have pledged to donate to "Brothers for Life", a charity which aids Israeli soldiers and directly benefits the IDF

Here is the statement that they made on Linkedin details their work with "Brothers for Life".

As well as this, they are also working with Canary Mission, and organisation that aims to expose those who have publicly shown support to Palestine to their employers.

It makes me sick to my stomach that a company that makes the majority of its profits from children, a company that claims to be committed to "the development of children", will gladly give money to those who are committed to bombing and killing them.

I am urging all of you to spread to the and boycott this company. Reblog. Tell your friends. TELL PEOPLE WITH CHILDREN. Do not let this Christmas fund a genocide.

don't play the game. as you can see lately, the member count is dropping rapidly - a good thing, as the game has gone to utter shit. convince your friends to stop buying gamepasses or spending real life money and time on this shitshow of a game. slowly and surely, the member count will drop and royale high's glory days of ignorance and prejudice will end.

3. find replacements.

there are plenty of games out there that are just as good as royale high - if not even better. consider migrating to those communities instead, surely they will be a better alternative than royale high.

Tbh, I have to disagree

if the creator isn't like outwardly attacking anyone who ships and does insert themself in the dialogue but doesnt go beyond to control other ppl's headcanons and drivative works, then thats alright.

I think that if you are the owner of this media, especially if it is something you're making for fun, then there is no moral high ground anyone can get to to say 'hey you cant ship yourself with the character you own and created (unless it is like... objectively morally reprehensible like pedophilia, incest, etc)

I think, imo watching this from an outsider standpoint, that people are more annoyed at the fact that this character is no longer 'shippable' in their eyes, which could've been the main appeal for consumers. And that is a big problem that's going to happen every time a love interest appears for a fan favorite, self-insert or not.

If the creator of the game doesn't agree then they can just remove the character? It just doesn't sit right with me to police what someone can and cannot do with their oc, especially if theyre in control of their dialogue. Like yeah its shitty that your fave character from a game has changed, but thats a risk you take when you consume media that you yourelf are not contributing to 'officially'

and like yeah, there is also the question of releasing a character for others to consume and the creator kind of relinquishing some of that creative power, but people can just... ignore what happens afterwards if they don't like it. Like, I myself don't like s4 of svtfoe, so I choose not to consider it as canon in my mind, because at the end of the day, my interpretation of the show is not going to change anything and others' interpretations

and yeah, its easier to just bash a company and a big show since theres so many moving cogs, but an indie project is something that we have to take into account that is and always will be a passion project at the end of the day, if the creator isnt allowed to have fun with their characters, then the initial project wouldnt have ever existed

Ronnen Harary is the co-founder of Spin Master, best known for the creation of the kids’ show “Paw Patrol.” 

The Ronnen Harary Foundation has provided over $2.3 million in 2021 and 2022 to a foreign government, specifically to Jizzrael Municipality of Jerusalem.

This company mostly donated toys to children via Jizzrael-based aid groups.

They also donated to few Gaza-based aid groups, but seemingly VERY few times. Mainly only in 2014 and seemingly in 2021, somewhere during the COVID-19 pandemic. But of course, they would usually mainly support Jizzrael with obviously how effin RARE that they would even donate to Gaza.

Overall and obviously, the company supports Jizzrael and the G3n0cide with money and toy donations to Jizzraeli kids but other kids are not worth it.
