Playing favorites
I'll be honest, I do play favorites with my OCs, though that does NOT mean I am nice to them TvT
My favorite OCs: In no particular order. Ning Yun// Ning Yun was first created to be part of my girlfriend's world which is based off of ancient China, as well as an Asian themed country in a fantasy world I am co writing in, but he unfortunately had to be removed since my writing partner wants a soft magic system, and Ning Yun is hardcore magical. He was made a while back, and with Black Myth Wukong existing and me digging into Chinese stuff, since my girlfriend is obsessed with it (/pos), I suddenly recalled Ning Yun's existance. I grew up on Naruto, so the nine-tailed fox has always been one of my favorite beings, and I honestly love foxes in general (THEY ARE SO CUTE WHEN THEY LOAF VFBDUVBAHDB), so Ning Yun was originally a nine-tailed fox deity.
He was originally meant to be a guardian of trees which contained fruit of knowledge (Kinda like the tree of good and evil in the garden of Eden), and he had little foxes and enfields with him. In the Ning Yun bio, you will see that I did revamp him in the end. I gave him a new backstory and world entirely. The only similarity is that he is still connected to knowledge and had fox companions ^^
Eugene Valentine// Now this one is a newer OC inspired off of the Apothecary Diaries, but only when it comes to being a courtesan. He perhaps has one of the most fucked up backstories that I have EVER given an OC. Like, second to Kalma/Theodore Miller, who was a test subject, and Kenneth Averidecci, who is based off the horror stories I've heard about the music industry and the 27 club. Eugene was, quite honestly, born partially from my disdain for.... certain things they claim can't be done to men (sometimes i really hate my fellow women -_- I refuse to talk politics however). Which, is a personal thing for me considering how it completely denies the existence of trauma that a member of my family has. Eugene is meant to be one of my prettiest male OCs (i have so many male OCs...), which, of course, is matched by his story's dark content hhh
Robin and Rhian Hill// The stories that touch me the most are those that deal with family bonds, found or blood related. Hence why Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is my favorite anime of all time, and why Train to Busan absolutely destroyed me emotionally. I have strong family values, and Robin and his younger brother Rhian are the fictional manifestations of that. Robin is the elder brother who only has his little brother when it comes to family. He always tries to protect him, to guide him, and make sure he's happy and taken care of. Robin is the brother that would sacrifice everything if it meant Rhian would have a better life than they have now, without a second thought. Rhian cares for his elder brother, worries about him, and hopes that they can find a place where Robin won't have to struggle for them both to survive. Honestly, it's hard to write them, because of how emotional I get when I think about if my baby brother and I were in that situation as I write it. They are a pair, and you can't have one without the other.
Aleczander Valentinovich// Aleczander is that villain character that I simultaneously want to kill, but adore because of how much I enjoy writing his fucked up antics. Aleczander is an ancient vampire from one of the Rus vikings that settled modern day Russia. He is the sort that has lived so long as a vampire, that his humanity is gone, and he looks down on us lowly humans and sees us as toys and meat for the slaughter. He is highly intelligent, more knowledgable about our history than we are (He'd laugh at some historians and professors), and is the sort to sink his claws into the very minds of the poor people he changes into vampires, just to toy with them till he breaks them like marionettes on blood strings. He's my vampire boogeyman, and I somehow love him and hate him for it XD He is also one of my oldest OCs, and lives rent free in my head. For now, that is all I have, I hope you enjoyed reading my starting list of favorite OCs ^^

I wanna stress the sort of pros and cons in Robin & Lucy’s relationship. It’s not all bad, they do have love for each other. But they definitely need to break up💀
Pros:
- Lucy will always listen to her. He values her interests & encourages her to pursue her dream as a painter.
- Robin is trustworthy. Lucy can tell Robin any amount of secrets and they’ll be kept away like a locked box.
- Lucy & Robin can laugh together. They have a unique sense of humor that’ll keep them laughing for hours!
C o n s 💀 :
- Robin romanticizes Lucy’s trauma. She sees him as a real life Edward Cullen.
- Lucy doesn’t see Robin as a fully realized human being. It’s apparent to the other three that Lucy sees Robin as a rabbit or a skinny hamster.
- Robin will play the victim card in order to isolate Lucy from his friends. “If you leave me I’ll _____” type shit.
- Lucy is far too rough with Robin. She’ll pull her around, grab her, and squeeze her too tight without regard for her comfort.
- Robin doesn’t speak up about Lucy’s flaws.
- Lucy doesn’t speak up about Robin’s flaws.
They’re cooked.
Lucy is Robin’s muse and Robin is Lucy’s prey.

OC Bio 4: Eugene Valentine
CONTENT WARNING: This will contain mentions of child ab*se, sexual ab*se, grooming, possible grape and SA. If any of this makes you uncomfortable, I highly suggest not reading this.
[Note: I am no expert on this subject, as i have not suffered any of what I mentioned above. HOWEVER, one of my parents have, and he had told me a grand total of twice about it, and not in great detail. But from how he spoke, and the emotions in his voice, I could tell how deeply it affected him. Eugene is not an ab*ser, but the victim, and I hope I portray this in a way that makes sense to Eugene's own experiences and his way of coping or dealing with it, which, by the way, is no where near as positive as my dad's.]

[picrew]
Name: Eugene Valentine
Sex: Masculine
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Title: Prince of the Black Lotus, Citrus (stage name basically)
Appearance: A young man with a slender, lithe body. Smooth, fair skin. Long, strawberry-blonde hair kept in a loose braid. Aquamarine eyes. Could be mistaken for a woman if it weren't for the structure of his face and his hips. He has scratch scars along his back. He typically has bite marks along his collarbone, neck, and thighs.
Personality: Eugene acts flirtatious, mischievous, witty, and charming. He puts on a snarky, easy-going, and sarcastic attitude, and will tease others, typically in a suggestive manner. However, this is all a mask. Underneath all that, Eugene is bitter, cold, and cynical. His mother's use and abuse of him having done a number on his mental health. His easy-going and flirtatious mask is simply so others don't see the true pain underneath, and to please his mother and clients so they don't hurt them.
If someone were to gain his trust, he would want to keep them close. He would want them to buy him out permanently, to free him from the Black Lotus. If they were to betray his trust though… Eugene would make certain that they would come to deeply regret that decision, due to his years of abuse.
Backstory: Eugene Valentine, was raised by his adoptive mother who was the proprietress of a brothel called the "Black Lotus House". Eugene was groomed to be a courtesan for the the Black Lotus ever since he was just a child, learning how to seduce and "please" others. He was taught that all his worth was solely in his appearance and nothing more about himself would be as important as that. His 'mother' added him to the roster in the brothel when he was just fifteen years old. Eugene, given the name 'Citrus' as his 'stage name', quickly became the most popular and expensive courtesan in the Black Lotus, becoming known as the "Black Lotus Prince". It's because of this that Eugene acts how he does now.
As a courtesan, Eugene is often hired to; play games like chess, or checkers with the client, to sing and dance for them as entertainment, and chiefly, to intimately pleasure the clients that pay for such a night, regardless of if he truly wants it or not.
Fandoms I Use OC in: can be used in medieval settings, and even futuristic settings with minor changes to the aesthetic.
Ships: no canon ships.
Other Significant People: Robin and Rhian Hill (friends of his who are working to get the money needed to buy Eugene out)

SAYING THIS NOW!
Robin & Lucy are a representation of toxic, codependent relationships. They love each other, but they are NOT healthy for one another. And sometimes that’s just how the cookie crumbles. I write these two with the knowledge that they are destroying each other every second they attempt to salvage their relationship.
Their relationship is not romanticized.
Their relationship is toxic.
Toxic relationships exist in real life.
I hope that seeing their dynamic, my audience will be able to identify and separate themselves from this type of toxicity. I wish I had seen this type of representation, so I didn’t fall into such a toxic relationship back in the day.
