Controversial but, I don’t think johnny needed to have another kid to complete his responsibility arc.

Its v much framed as a second chance kid, which sucks. and between Robby, Miguel, their relationship, and the dojo, he has enough to work towards. All of the energy they have him put towards the new baby they could’ve had him put towards building a better relationship with robby, fixing his life to take care of the bio kid he already has, setting up a room for robby out of his bachelor pad, etc. they could made him needing robby and miguel to get along be bc he wanted to propose to Carmen, and they would become stepbrothers. Also, even though he’s getting better, we know the mans not the most responsible. The time the subplot takes couldve been put towards developing the fatherly bond he has with two of the main characters and their non conventional family unit instead of forcibly smoothing over all of the difficulties that realistically rise when johnny is bringing his family together with a baby.

So yeah hayden is totally out of line and even his creator bestie (as the person who tweeted this put it) thinks so.

So not all creators are acting clueless ig, but they need to address it in part three else this will be very shitty, and robby would have been wronged in one of the worst ways possible. (I also don't get the point of having the SA rape plot line like we could have done without it)

Mary Mouser and Tanner Buchanan deserve the biggest apologies from the Cobra Kai fandom... the way people constantly hate on them for no good reason is disgusting.

Mary gained weight due to diabetes. And even if it was for another reason, why do people care so much? She's still just as stunningly beautiful as she was before and it clearly has not affected her ability to portray a karate student. Calling her "Ham" is not funny. It's not original. It doesn't make you look cool. It's immensely childish behavior and makes me ashamed to be a part of this fandom. None of the jokes concerning the way she looks are in any way entertaining or funny, but for some reason they're under every post about Mary or Sam. It's sad how hateful people like that have managed to bully a sweet, kind person like Mary Mouser into posting less off of herself in the internet.

Tanner has a style. He wears certain clothes that aren't considered "masculine" and sometimes he wears makeup. So what? You don't know him, his clothing should not matter to you. The way he dresses does not immediately mean he's gay. But again, if he was, why do people care so much? Let him express himself the way he wants to without flooding his comments with insults. Just like with the comments about Mary, calling Tanner gay like it's a bad thing and making nasty remarks about the way he looks is not funny. They're not in any way necessary. They make you look immature and overall like an extremely unpleasant person.

the memes where Johnny forgets Robby is his son are hilariously sad so someone write a super angsty fic where Johnny gets drunk (in a happy way) at Miguel’s graduation party and makes a moving speech where he says he loves him and he’s proud of him and he’s like the son he’s never had. That Miguel’s changed him for the better and he never had a reason to change before.

Most people are like awh, how sweet because they’ve forgotten momentarily about Robby except maybe Amanda who is amazed at Johnnys audacity.

And Robby is just standing there broken hearted because it just confirms to him that Johnny doesn’t love him, never had and never will.

Sorry for the sad words, but after seeing the leaks for part 3, watching the video of the premiere date for part 3 of the sixth season didn't make me excited, not even that incredible blow from Robby on Axel. The video tries to convey the idea that Robby will have a good, satisfying and coherent ending, but anyone who has seen the leaks knows that is not the case. It's very unfair that the script always creates something (loss of focus or injuries) to prevent Robby from winning a tournament so that another fighter can win.

Toxic johnny lawrence stans on reddit/twitter/tik tok whining about johnny not being in the new movies and demanding that he in it. Be careful what you wish for might mess around and manifest johnny lawrence being put in the hands of writers that won't reduce his growth as a character to comic relief and might actually let him being a fully fleshed out human being . Like they might do something crazy and let him have a proper relationship with his son 🙃. Wouldn't want that to happen now do we......

Cobra kai season 6 spoilers ahead

This is me ranting about the season and spoilers

I understand that they want miguel to win because he is like the main character and it started with him and all that.

But, what about robby?

If any of the spoilers and leaks are true then he is fucked.

They kept repeating how this is his last chance at something big, how Robby probably has no future.

He is not applying for college, and the last big thing he can do is the sekai taikai.

the whole plot line of being distracted by tory was valid for like the first two times then it got ridiculous, they were putting robby down just make miguel seem better and stronger, which he may be or is even.

The fact that the whole team kept on talking behind robby's back and insulting and saying Miguel should have been captain is not fair.

We all saw robby win the fight for the right of being captain fair and square, he didn't cheat and miguel was not injured or out of focus, no both were perfectly fine.

Yet the team is acting like robby stole the spot of captain or something.

And then you have spoilers saying he is not winning (which I hope is not true).

They built his character up so well, only for them to humiliate him, make him seem incompetent, that he should not have been captain, all to make miguel seem better?

I don't mind miguel being better, but it doesn't have to be on the expense of robby.

Robby deserves much better than this.

It is not like he can't fight, robby is one of the best fighters in the show, it would make sense if he won, and it won't be surprising at all.

It is not like axel is a god of sorts, he is not undefeated, he is just really strong and capable, but robby is one of those people who can spot their opponent's weakness, and you can't convince me that axel doesn't have one.

And don't get me started on the zara raping robby because that was so unnecessary and horrible he truly didn't deserve it and the way they made it seem like he was cheating on tory, no he did not!

He was raped by zara, and he doesn't even realise that he is a victim.

I think that Tory should get to crash out one more time. Because at this point, her anger is 100% justifiable AS LONG as it’s against Z*ra. Because holy fuck, if anyone deserves to get ripped apart by Tory, it’s that bitch. And let my girl suffer no repercussions and no backlash. I think she deserves to rip z*ra apart at this point.

Cobra Kai writers are only giving Robby wins that they can later take away and it is so tiring...

He won the spot for captain, making him the only guy in Miyagi-Do who should even have a chance at winning the Sekai Taikai as the male champion, but by now we all know that it is not happening. The leaks are most likely true (what with the photos and all) and he'll get hurt during his fight with Axel, so Miguel will take his place and win the whole thing. Yay.

And even as captain they didn't give Robby many times to shine. He kept losing focus so he kept losing fights. And the one big moment that they finally gave him was during the elimination rounds where he got the winning point against Kwon, eliminating Cobra Kai from the tournament. Expect... Cobra Kai got back in, kind of reversing the only victory they gave Robby.

Now in part 3 they'll have him get a few points on Axel, something that no one has managed to do before, but in the end he won't the the one to win. They put so much focus on him always being second just for him to lose once again.
