The Short Ones
I do not have any short inquisitors specifically but I have a 4'10" jedi knight and a 5' warrior. they would be so grumpy about the new solaust unit of measurement
Please by all means they need to be in the collection, I feel like a scientist discovering the find of the century!
#I need to do a sw replay and get many more screenshots of how short rkorya is#I'm glad swtor sometimes obliges

today’s sara lance headcanon: she’s That Bisexual who gives her female friends mildly flirtatious nicknames like ‘babe’ or ‘gorgeous’ or ‘beautiful’ out of playful affection, but when it comes to the people she’s actually legitimately interested romantically in she somehow has trouble being anywhere near as mushy
#thus inspired by her calling amaya 'love'#sara lance#also i was naturally like 'is there anyone this could even apply to on denny' and just#imagine sara calling rkorya 'beautiful'. like in front of people#rkorya is like 'thanks but i like it better when you call me murderous'

and then how do you think your characters might react to yet ANOTHER mld scandal and felix being tied to GRACE? i was gonna just ask about laurel but then i realized people like penny and margot and maive have reason to have Opinions too so whoever you wanna answer with!
OKAY B O Y
laurel, obviously, is gonna just be like “i told you so”. she hasn’t actually paid ALL that much attention to felix. he bowed out of going after her pretty gracefully, so while she still doesn’t trust the MLD, they weren’t as big a deal on her radar before... but now she’ll be EXTRA wary because damn that position is fucking cursed isnt it. laurel will be negative 100 surprised that the MLD and GRACE are working together
maive... has been even less in on the loop on the MLD than laurel. maive mostly had a problem with rkorya and nothing about felix gave her any reason to worry yet. also she’s been pretty distracted with all the jack stuff! honestly she really hoped the MLD could improve because... shes so used to corrupt authority that she wanted this world to be different, and she’ll be reallt disappointed it’s not. also WAY more vigilant of the MLD in general
locus: [vibrates intensely]
but no locus has Complicated Feelings because he is FULLY aware of what felix is capable of, and doesnt trust him as far as he could throw him, but... how do i put this... part of locus’ redemption arc is about taking a vow not to kill anyone, and so murder is kind of what he fixates on. felix is... not technically killing anyone. and since they have such a complicated history, he’s... not sure what to do about the Felix Problem. though “being associated with an organization that performs unethical experimentation” might be enough for him to go “yeah. fuck this.”
penny is probably gonna be the most heartbroken? which is ironic because shes already the experiment of a shady government, but i dont think she was ever really AWARE of that. if ruby n co were already wary of felix she MIGHT pick up on that, and its not like she KNOWS felix personally, but... still, shes the most idealistic and expects this less
margot is also going to be pretty heartbroken, but in a different way? she doesn’t expect better but she also put part of her reputation on being the friendliest to the mld, so. granted she was already wary of them because of toffee, but it exploding is gonna.... make her look pretty bad. shes not too happy about THAT
lord shen is gonna be fucking pissed at taking ANOTHER fall for someone else’s fuckup

so my two main star wars ocs are both from swtor - rkorya, a zabrak sith warrior who was raised in the empire and is driven as much by overwhelming loyalty as rage, and shenrihn, a slave from the infinite empire who was found in stasis on belsavis by the republic. they wind up becoming a jedi eventually, but struggle with recovering from their past and the jedi order's suspicion of former darksiders.
Ooooh, they sound cool!! I do love lightsaber-toting Zabraks, so Rkorya sounds especially awesome :D

Tell me about your Star Wars OCs?
this is a tall order... watch me forget someone
mains
rkorya, sith warrior - proud, self-assured, bloodthirsty and far more loyal than she is ambitious, she's extremely powerful and a talented warrior, but lacks fine control in the force due to her training being deliberately sabotaged. she was her family's only hope to maintain their precarious status as minor nobility, and succeeded in this role... and just happened to be isolated, pressured, and used as a pawn for nearly every step of the way. despite that, she's endured and survived and made herself too implacable to really be challenged. she loves the empire (and what she thinks it can become) and is blind to all the damage it's done to her, but she's also someone all the darths have to step very lightly around. My Favourite, has the bulk of my fic and several adjacent timelines of what happens with her (in one she sacrifices herself and becomes a sword ghost slowly moving through history)
shenrihn, jedi knight - quiet, distant and superficially calm - but judgmental, fiercely aggressive in battle, and driven by fear and resentment, they're rather infamous as a jedi for having emerged from the prison planet of belsavis, where they had been in stasis for 20,000 years. once a slave of the infinite empire of the rakata, they navigated the stars and found life-rich planets for conquest, but were put into stasis for study when the rakata's force sensitivity began to wane. the jedi order took custody of them after their discovery, and they eventually became a padawan... but finding the peace promised to them proved very difficult. their story is in limbo after finishing the class story because they would rather avoid all plot forever, but I'm cultivating a very mean au where they end up in the sith inquisitor story instead
significant ocs
vitnako, twi'lek smuggler - witty, laidback, radiates Just A Guy energy, but has a ruthless streak when cornered. an expert on reinventing himself and cutting and running due to a tough past on hutta and being the only one who managed to get out of there. only loosely connected to the class story because it's either sexist or ridiculous, but he's out there dodging the law and having a good time
netethei, chiss agent - Officially The Worst. cheerful, amiable and easily entertained, she's difficult to read due to how genuine her amusement is - but it can easily come at the cost of those around her. she was recruited by the empire after selling a diplomat's scandals and secrets out, and she's currently keeping herself from stepping out of line... but all of her fellow agents hate her anyways
meyrikh, pureblood sith apprentice - secretive, jealous, an insecure mess. child of a family found to be plotting treason, she and her older siblings were sold into slavery, and all of the adults killed. she eventually managed to become an apprentice, but any advantage her lineage might have granted her is outweighed by how uncomfortable her existence makes every traditional sith. her sole talent is in going unseen, but still not as often as she would like. kept in limbo because I want to think of a good master for her still
tashram, togruta sith lord - weary, vengeful, bitter, and stubborn. an attempt on her life by an upstart rival has her crash onto an agrarian planet in the middle of nowhere. laying low slowly turns to actually making a life for herself here rather than risk returning to sith politics. has an extremely wip fic project about how she becomes a farmer, and the connections she makes
the twi'lek pirate crew - barely represented on my blog, but a collection of twi'leks (and one zabrak) created by one of my friends handing me a bunch of adoptables. I don't have much of substance on them but I think they're cool
characters in name only
kymet, mirialan trooper - a republic trooper for the class story
chotal, miraluka jedi consular - a consular for the class story! I actually really enjoy the story but cannot think of a good oc for it yet so here we are
yskra, rattataki bounty hunter - an oc I made in tandem with a friend, but he's not playing currently so she's in limbo. a survivor of rattatak's fighting arenas, trying to make a future through bounty hunting with her partner
#there was also a zakuulan oc but I gave up on him rip#swtor ocs#rkorya#shenrihn#netethei#meyrikh#tashram#vitnako#answered#I still gotta make a new bh when I come back...#thanks for asking! I could go on for ages

The door slides open. A Sith walks through, and he stops. Everything stops. The air is cold and brittle around him, and Kurawi can feel that if he moves, if he makes the slightest sound, something terrible – that he had been anticipating this whole time, he realizes now, anticipation that had still not been nearly enough of a warning – will turn its entire focus to him.
Somehow, he keeps breathing. The immediate, thought-numbing terror ebbs enough for him to do more than be very small and very still. Enough to notice that Vassa had gone just as still, pale skin ashy.
Even with the impression of their entrance slowly fading in the Force, the intruder is hard to look at. She’s armoured all in red and black despite the damp summer heat, and her helmet is a monstrous-looking thing with glowing eyeslits. Reflexively, Kurawi fixes his gaze past her – which is when he notices a Twi’lek had slipped in afterwards. She’s leaning against the wall, and as he catches her eyes, she wiggles her fingers in a subtle wave.
This would be reassuring, if he could make sense of any part of this scene. But he can’t, so he stares.
“Lord Wrath,” Vassa says, which makes no sense, because the Wrath should be among the fleet, fighting wars and taking down ships singlehandedly. There’s something else important about the Empire’s Wrath, something he should have remembered, but Kurawi’s thoughts are still thick and helpful as sludge. “You honour me with this… unforeseen visit.”
#continuing to just liveblog this fic as I write pieces of it#one day rkorya will even say words!!#anyways vette is here <3#always thinking of an old swtor post that talks about dromund kaas as having giant lurking predators#both in the jungle and in the cities and you just have to live with the latter strolling around you#my words#rkorya

Rkorya turned a padawan to the dark side and gained an apprentice. Jaesa had her life ruined and a new one offered in the same breath, and she took it. It takes them a while to realize that this story hasn't quite ended.
Jedi fear attachment, think it makes them weaker and swayed by the trivial whims of those around them, and at first, Jaesa thought the Sith were much the same – revelling in the feeling of the moment, but cutting away each bond when it became too permanent, too vulnerable. But Rkorya takes that sentiment and turns each connection into her strength, guards those near her fiercely. So no, she would rather have tossed herself off of the sanctum than seriously punish or injure her apprentice.
On some days, she finds it sweet, a devotion that she strains to match in service and loyalty. But on others, it’s jarring to be cared for, protected, even as she can see her disapproval whenever she comes back from a night out, streaked in sweat and blood. When they train, the difference between them gapes open like a void that can’t be filled, that aches with uncertainty, and she doesn’t know what she can do to make it better. She’s opened herself to the dark side, embraced her anger, and yet it’s never enough.
That it troubles Rkorya as much as it does her is a bitter balm – she doesn’t want to be the problem apprentice, forever the weak link. Some part of it might be her master’s fault, even if she is Sith to her bones, but... how much of it is her own?
#repostober#rkorya#sith warrior#swtor fic#jaesa willsaam#I am still proud of squeezing something sensible out of the ds jaesa choice#can't believe I devoted so much effort to fixing up bioware's fuck ups... six years ago aaaaaaa

I suddenly had a whim to go back to a swtor fic idea (rkorya seeking out one of her cousins once she hears he's being trained under the same shitty tutor that trained her)
Today isn’t going to be a good day. Kurawi knows better than to blame it on anything beside himself, even if Dromund Kaas is in the thick of summer and sweat keeps getting in his eyes. It is an awful time for any sort of combat lessons, especially once Lord Vassa has scored a few hits and the burns begin to stack up. But more than that, he’s clumsy today. Each fumble, be it messing up the recounting of a date or someone’s name, or messing up his footwork, makes Lord Vassa look more acidly contemptuous.
At this rate, there’s no danger of anything happening to him as an acolyte. None of the academies will want him.

🖊 + any two ocs
going to answer this for my swtor mains, rkorya and shenrihn, who I ended up sort of treating as a parallel/contrast set even though I made them at different times with very different approaches
rkorya was pretty much just an indulgent character to act out through bioware cutscenes at first, and got depth later, while I had most of my ideas for shenrihn at the time I made them. but they do still share a lot of overlap! they're both zabraks, they have a lot of personal meaning loaded into their tattoos, they both have a lot of depersonalizing/weaponizing themes going on - and perhaps most fun for me is that they end up serving the exact same roles to vitiate, the former sith emperor. both rkorya and shenrihn act as his tools and enforcers (albeit shen rather briefly), and both temporarily kill one of his many bodies... and eventually in one of the several different verses/endings I have in mind, they do work together to extinguish vitiate utterly in a super dramatic ritual
one fic I want to write at some point is a collection of moments where they almost met, because their paths came so close! so often! and then the extremely accidental time on yavin iv when shen finally decides to change their tattoos and the empire's wrath is kind of already getting hers done at the same place. whoops
#thanks!!#feeling sad and tired and I figured digging some of these out of my inbox would be better#than just making vent posts#rkorya#shenrihn#there are so many more little overlaps... the theme of isolation and being set apart#how and why they fight#the feral joy vs the feral fear etc etc#character asks#oc asks#answered

it's very interesting to me that rkorya's backstory was... well, not very well thought out initially! she was just a fun character with some power fantasy attached. I wanted to feel cool and important as I played her
but it's become very quietly sad over the course of years of thinking about her? she does not win all the backstory angst awards (that would be shenrihn. sorry shen) but things just kept clicking in place over time. she's horrifically powerful and wields her influence and rank as a blunt instrument, but she's also inexperienced with huge gaps in her knowledge and skills. her family put enormous pressure on her and isolated her in childhood, several different mentors and teachers undermined and hurt her and deliberately didn't do their jobs out of fear of what she would become if properly trained
and the thing is, so much of that was wildly unnecessary! her family is exactly in the same place it would have been otherwise. she was entirely earnest (stupidly so) about following baras and vitiate until given very good reason to do otherwise. she cannot help putting her faith into the very things and people that will hurt her, because so much of her mindset is built on proving herself in a system made to wound her
just. rkorya!!!
