Under the cut complaining
I’m trying to do something w wxs tv tropes page & I wanna preface this by saying I like emukasa they are so dear to me. but Come On. this is definitely only there because it’s m/f. If u wanna put this in her folder u gotta put stuff for rks/emnn. It’s equality.
Tumblr media
1. Not even true anymore & it’s been stated more often that she shows up explicitly to see nene
2. I actually never thought abt that. Neat! But also if ur gonna mention this why not mention the rks Romeo and Juliet scene.
3. Gestures at nene in soad/ohe and tsukasa in wonder halloween
4 & 5. Fair but also. Rui does this with tsukasa too. Iirc Rui even had a comical gap between how many times he said tsukasa’s name and how many times he said whoever was in second place’s name.

Also what was the artist clip they put in urs
hi z i love youuuuu<3 they put the rks artist clip in mine which is just her talking abt a song and absolutely no acknowledgement of the audience or context. which i think is pretty awesome
1. When It Lands - RKS | probably i looped this album two or three times a day for like. several months. this is not my favorite song off of it but it got the most play by virtue of it being on more playlists
I don't really know where to bake that, less you tryna get in In which case… my phone dead, forget it And I never answer calls when I'm in the kitchen Cooking It's just a thing
2. Moody Orange - RKS | this might be my favorite. this or painkillers
Send my love, send my love right away, baby All day, all night, I wish you would leave me
4. Fever Pitch - RKS | and the thing is, well, obviously the album is largely reliant on christian theology to carry the metaphors. but the thing about me is that im really able to tune that out for music specifically
I think I might make you Smile after dinner Kick me under the table I think that's my in And I think I came for that What comes with it?
5. How I Get Myself Killed - Indigo De Souza | ok finally here's something else. actually i don't have much to say abt this one i just like the tune
Oh, come when you're called If this is all we've got to work with, then it's all we've got to say
96. Palm - Margaux | another ari rec, i wanna say, way back in 2021? it has been SUCH a staple for me. perfect articulation of an intense crush.
Only that I’d love to love you And be right next to you when Daytime seems as blue and heavy as the lake by home
98. Be Careful - GLASS | another art rec! he said: i have a love song for you that is kinda funny but sounds like the way you talk abt love. and goddamn what an accurate statement
Be careful, she's only using you for love and commitment Be careful, she only wants you for your heart and your soul Be careful, she's only with you for your care and attention Have the sacred stars aligned or are you just the most achievable goal?
99. Take Off Ur Pants - Indigo De Souza | big one for getting out of a bad mood by getting horny instead. i like when she yells : )
Now that everyone's gone I can tell you the truth I don't love you, I like you
100. Slow & Steady - Run River North | good song for when i am pissed off at work which is often but apparently not often enough to get a double digit spot on the playlist
You curse You press until it hurts On the white blank page With the slow and steady rage

Do you think they originally had a different plan for Ms Bowen? Tbh I thought it was a wild move to break up RK since almost everyone was rooting for them and their romance is just how shows like that go, but I do wonder if Ms Bowen was supposed to be something more for Roy. Then the chemistry with Jamie exploded all over the place and they switched tracks
hmm I mean maybe in very early drafts they had larger plans for Ms. Bowen, but I can't imagine it was still on the table when they were plotting s3, because if so they would have just written that instead of writing an entire season of roy and jamie best friendism and maybe more, lol.
I understand why people were/are upset about roykeeley breakup but I personally was expecting it when I went in to s3 based on where we left them in the s2 finale. And I gotta say that after rewatching s2 it feels more inevitable to me than ever that this was where it was always headed between them. Which is not to say that I think their problems are insurmountable or that there isn't a path open for them to get back together! I definitely do! But yeah, s2 is just episode after episode continually showcasing what isn't working between them. They're already foreshadowing the downfall practically from the moment they get together. (and i do think it's interesting that the Christmas episode, which is arguably roykeeley's best s2 episode in terms of them geling within their established relationship, was added later. If we hadn't gotten that, wow we wouldn't have much at all of them genuinely being on the same page, would we?) Biggest shock for me was that the breakup was offscreen and that the follow up to that arc was so shoddy and disappointing.
As for Ms. Bowen... I think in the s2 scene, Roy is drawn to her not only because they have a nice back-and-forth banter going, but also (and crucially) because of the momentary allure of her lifestyle, which is so very different from his own. On the one hand Roy is stressing about Keeley's photoshoot, where the VF people have already told him he's basically going to be a prop to make her look good. So he's feeling insecure and like Keeley is on her way up while he's on his way out, petering into irrelevancy in the public eye. On the other hand is Ms Bowen. And in that moment, he almost feels like he's on more equal footing with Ms. Bowen, who's just a regular woman with a regular profession outside of the spotlight doing well for herself, than he is with Keeley. So Ms. Bowen provides him a temporary relief from the problems of his own life in a way that appeals to him (for three hours, apparently).
But like, the reality is that all we see them talking about is Ms Bowen being good at her job, what her jobs entails, Phoebe, the other children, etc. He doesn't learn her first name! It's pretty harmless flirting, not a very deep connection or a particularly meaningful conversation, and I don't think we were ever meant to see it as such (just my opinion, there's a bunch of shippers out there I know!). She's an easy escape, and then Roy's phone buzzes with the reminder to go to the photoshoot, and Roy steps back into his own life, which he was always going to return to.
I'm honestly less clear what the point of her reappearance in s3 was for because I'm not sure it really works as Roy's big epiphany moment for me... her telling him he was stuck is literally nothing Rebecca didn't already tell him! and "I hope that mess didn't cause too much damage" is such an odd Realization™️ line to prompt Roy to action because 1) he already knew it caused damage. He was there and saw Keeley's face when he told her he'd talked to Ms Bowen for 3 hours and 2) I dislike how that frames it as Roy flirting with Ms Bowen being THE driving force in the r/k breakup, when the reality is it was the very tip of the iceberg in a relationship that was falling apart no matter what. I think you could argue it was the point of no return, so maybe that's what they were going for? But they don't make that very clear because they don't write a very specific apology for Roy, do they! ugh. idk. If anyone has better insight they want to offer me please do!

Little Nightmares: Rewind page 3
Continuation/fix-it of @hezuart‘s Little Nightmares ‘Channel Change’ AU

[You are here]
[Very Little epilogue]
[Next]
[Animatic]
[Novelisation]
~~~
By succeeding in saving the one she couldn’t save before, Six has managed to stray from the path too, as she has managed to undo something that led her down it in the first place.
And with both of it’s pawns now on their own separate paths, out of its reach, the Signal Tower is finally beaten.
~
And here it is: the final page of Rewind’. With both of its pawns now out of its reach in their own separate timelines, and having expended the rest of its power to send Six back in time to try to restart the loop, the Signal Tower finally falls. Freeing the world of its tyranny once and for all, and the girls are free and alive.
Being given the happy ending they both deserve (Six deserves a happy ending too, goddamn it!(And so does RCG, obviously)), and deciding to adopt the fandom’s trope of them being like sisters, they declare that they are now indeed sisters, no matter what DNA says. (AKA, I love how the fandom declares Six and RCG to be sisters (heck, in some AUs like ‘seat mate’ they are sisters), and I love this trope, so it’s in here too :)) #JusticeForTheGirls
(Remember the route I took for time travel for this AU. Changing the past creates a new timeline, instead of erasing the present/future of the current one. In Mono and RK’s timeline, Six simply disappeared, to the past and ended up in a new timeline, where she is given a chance to retry something that affected her deeply, and succeeds. So the boys still have their happy ending, but if Mono was hoping that Six was dead or something, then he’s out of luck on that front, for now she lives in another timeline where she never met him (she saw him in the tree from comic episode 1 before traveling to another timeline, but they never met), thus both he and the Thin Man are unable to hurt her. And since neither Mono or Six end up trapped in the tower in both timelines, and it used up the rest of its power to try to restart the loop, the Signal Tower’s hope is completely lost and it crumbles into a pile of dying flesh and rubble)
Remembering what originally happened, Six was able to get RCG away from the Pretender before she was able to regain consciousness and led RCG down to the raft with the Pretender in pursuit. They reach the raft and get far enough away from the Nest so that the Pretender can no longer get them, leaving her to shout at them in frustration.
Relieved that she succeeded in saving RCG this time, Six is overwhelmed by the emotions and throws herself into RCG’s arms, her heart healing that she successfully saved RCG as RCG comforts her.
After a while, the raft hits land, welcoming the girls to their well-deserved freedom.
Meanwhile, having used the rest of its power to send Six back in time to try to restart the loop (and failing), and now that both Mono and Six were out of its reach, the Signal Tower finally falls apart, ending the transmission.
Not all is the way it should be yet, as the damage that the tower did to the world is still there, and its up to the now-free inhabitants to patch up the world’s wounds caused by the tower, like the fissures in the ground and damage to the Pale City and deformities caused by the transmission. Some of the deformities are lethal, while others aren’t.
The girls find another beach to stand on and watch the sunset, as they then begin to ponder on what they should do with their freedom. And they’ve decided that they were sisters, and not even their blood can say otherwise. They are sisters, screw what their DNA says.
I hope you guys enjoyed this comic and that I healed the hearts of those who were broken from what happened to Six in ‘Channel change’. :)
Here’s some soundtrack for the ending scene:
I hope I've healed the hearts of those who were broken by the unfair ending Six got in 'Channel change'.
saw some bullshit today so i dared myself to list every male-male non-romantic relationship (that i know of) in league
disclaimer i have not read all of runeterra lore so half of this is osmosis
Braum - Yasuo (RK rest point convos)
Braum - Pyke (RK, "you could never be on the list")
Darius - Draven (they're brothers)
J4 - Xin Zhao
J4 - Garen (shared a couple scenes in Lux comic + most of their screentime in Mageseeker was the two of them sulking about their loved ones being magic)
Master Yi - Wukong
Braum - Maokai (RK, maokai gives braum a cure for his people)
Nasus - Renekton (they're brothers pt 2)
Rengar - Graves (graves keeps referring to rengar as "my buddy rango")
Thresh - Viego (thresh 'helped' viego revive his wife, and also it's impossible to ship viego with anyone because he will not stop simping over said wife)
Vladimir - Viego (i'm pretty sure they're related?)
Warwick - Singed (listen i love monsterfucker singed as much as the next fella but in terms of canon singed remorselessly ruined ww's life lmfao)
Yone - Yasuo (they're brothers pt 3)
Xerath - Azir (although i personally think there's estranged mlm potential there so ymmv)
Heimerdinger - Ziggs (jinx comic + hextech mayhem, they've worked together)
Singed - Heimerdinger (Arcane, "love and legacy are the sacrifices we make for progress, it's why i parted ways with heimerdinger")
Nasus - Azir (i'm like 80% sure they're on speaking terms)
Shen - Zed (so i've heard, but i've also heard they could be read as exes so ymmv)
eighteen. now. actual 1000% confirmed mlm ships
Twisted Fate - Graves (you literally just need to read everything on their respective universe pages, even before Bombolini they were canon as fuck)
ships that COULD be
Udyr - Lee Sin (udyr voice lines)
Viktor - Jayce (bios + parallel short stories + Arcane)
Ekko - Ezreal (pulsefire short story)
now isn't that interesting.
This is a tracking category. It builds and maintains a list of pages primarily for the sake of the list itself. They are not part of the encyclopedia's categorization scheme.
This category is hidden on its member pages—unless the corresponding user preference (appearance → show hidden categories) is set.
These categories can be used to track, build and organize lists of pages needing "attention en masse" (for example, pages using deprecated syntax), or that may need to be edited at someone's earliest convenience.
These categories also serve to aggregate members of several lists or sub-categories into a larger, more efficient list (discriminated by classifications).
"Unprintworthy" redirects are redirect pages on Wikipedia that aid online navigation, but would have little or no value as pointers to target articles in a hard-copy book. The name of a redirect may be unprintworthy for a number of reasons, including being nearly identical to the name of the target page, containing typographical errors, or not being encyclopaedic. Redirects are not unprintworthy just because the name may be offensive to some, unless the name is also not encyclopaedic.
Một số thông tin cần biết về bàn phím cơ và thuật ngữ thông dụng
Mình xin chia sẻ một số thông tin về bàn phím cơ và thuật ngữ thông dụng cho những bạn đang tìm hiểu về bàn phím cơ.
Tumblr media
Mình đã sử dụng bàn phím cơ một thời gian rồi và cảm thấy rất thú vị. Mình tổng hợp được một vài thông tin về phím cơ rất thú vị về bàn phím cơ, xin chia sẻ cho những bạn mới chơi, người muốn tìm hiểu thêm về nó.
1. Kiêu dáng bàn phím (Form-factor)
Kiểu dáng bàn phím hay form factor hay layout là thông tin cơ bản mà người chơi bàn phím cơ cần biết. Bàn phím cơ khác với bàn phím nhựa phổ thông là có rất nhiều kiểu dáng khác nhau, hình dáng, kiểu mẫu và số lượng bàn phím.
Trên thị trường Việt Nam hiện đang lưu hành một số kiểu dáng sau đây:
Bàn phím full-size (100%): bàn phím có đầy đủ số lượng phím như bàn phím thông thường. Thậm chí nhiều bàn phím có nhièu nút hơn nữa: như núm volume, nút media,…
Bàn phím 98%: bàn phím có thiết kết gióng như bàn phím full-size, nhưng kiểu dáng làm gọn gàng lại, ít nút hơn một tí, nhằm mang lại sự gọn gàng hơn. Các bạn có thể thấy qua các bàn phím như: Akko 3098 series,…
Bàn phím TKL hay layout 80%: bàn phím tenkeyless (TKL) có kiểu dáng bàn phím fullsize bỏ đi hàng phím số. Bàn phím tkl thông thường có khoảng 87 phím. Một số bàn phím trên thị trường như: Akko 5087, Leopold FC750RPD Blackcase, Keychron K8,….
Bàn phím layout 75%: bàn phím có số lượng nút từ 80-84 phím. Bàn phím được thu gọn có các nút f1,f2-f12 và các nút chức năng Delete, insert, page up, page down, mũi tên điều hướng. Kiểu dáng bàn phím gọn gàng thích hợp cho người thích di chuyển. Một số bàn phím trên thị thường: Keydous NJ 80, Akko 3084, RK 84,….
Bàn phím layout 65%: bàn phím này có số lượng từ 65-75 phím. Bàn phím thu gọn hơn không có các nút f1,f2,…f12. Một số bàn phím thông dung như là: Akko 3068B,…
Bàn phím layout 60%: bàn phím cơ này có số lượng bàn phím từ 60-61 phím, không có hàng nút f1,f2,….f12 và không có nút mũi tên nữa. Bàn phím này có ưu điểm là rất gọn gàng, dễ mang đi khắp nơi, dễ chơi keycap. Những người ưa xê dịch rất mê bàn phím này. Một số bàn phím trên thị trường mà mình biết là: RK 61,…
Bàn phím layout 40%: bàn phím này có số lượng phím khoảng 40-50 phím. Còn được mọi người gọi với tên thân yêu là “bàn phím khổ dâm”. Với số lượng phím quá ít nên việc sử dụng chẳng hề dề dàng tí tẹo nào. Nổi tiếng nhất là: bàn phím Vortex core 40%
Bàn phím layout công thái học: đây là những bàn phím có thiết kế kiểu dáng theo dạng công thái học mà các nhà khoa học bàn phím cho là tốt nhất cho người sử dụng. Riêng bản thân tôi thấy layout này rất lạ và rất khó xài.
2. Keycap
Trên thị trường có rất nhiều loại keycap khác nhau, kiểu dáng, chất liệu chế tạo, profile, cách in ký tự:
Profile: là ngoại hình, cách sắp xếp keycap trên bàn phím. Trên thị trường Việt Nam có các profile như: OEM (kiểu dáng như phím nhựa thường thấy), XDA (có các phím có chiều cao giống nhau), ASA, FSA, SA…
Chất liệu tạo keycap: trên thị trường có hai loại phổ biến: nhựa ABS và nhựa PBT.
Cách in ký tự keycap: tren thị trường có các loại in sau đây: double shot (dùng 2 lớp nhựa gắn chặt vào nhau), dye-sublimation hay in nhiệt thăng hoa,
3. Switch cơ (hay công tắc phím)
Switch có thể nói là linh hồn của bàn phím. Switch ảnh hưởng lớn đến cảm giác gõ phím của người sử dụng. Bạn tìm được một switch phù hợp với sở thích của mình sẽ mang đến trải nghiệm sử dụng phím cơ rất thú vị. Switch cơ và keycap là hai thứ mà bạn có thể dễ dàng thay đổi nhất của bàn phím cơ.
Trên thị trướng có rất nhiều switch đang lưu hành, được chia ra làm 3 loại cụ thể sau đây:
Switch clicky: đây là loại switch mang đến cảm giác phím cơ nhất. Bạn bấm vào switch này có cảm giác khấc và tiếng clicky rõ rệt. Nổi tiếng nhất loại này là dòng Cherry blue, nên nhiều người gọi switch clicky là blue switch.
Switch tactile: người dùng bấm vào sẽ có cảm giác có khấc nhẹ cản lại, có một âm thanh nhẹ. Nổi tiếng nhất của loại này là dòng Cherry brown, nên nhiều người gọi là Brown switch.
Switch Linear: người dùng bấm bào có cảm giác trơn tuột từ đầu đến cuối, không có khấc nhấn, không có clicky. Đây là dòng switch mang đến cảm giác êm ái, ít ồn ào. Nổi tiếng nhất của loại này là dòng Cherry red, nên được nhiều người gọi là Red switch.
Các cố định switch cơ vào bàn phím có 2 loại chính:
Bàn phím hotswap: bàn phím có thể thay thế được switch dễ dàng. Bạn có thể dùng switch puller để thay thế các loại switch rất dễ dàng.
Bàn phím không hotswap: các switch cơ sẽ được hàn cố địch vào bàn phím. Người sử dụng bình thường rất khó để thay thế switch.
Mỗi loại switch sẽ có ưu điểm và nhược điểm khác nhau. Đến khi nào, bạn sử dụng trực tiếp mới có thể biết đâu là chân ái của bản thân, không nên yêu thích qua lý thuyết.
4. Plate
Plate là bộ phận của bàn phím cơ, là nơi để gắn switch cơ vào bàn phím. Trên thị trường có nhiều loại plate như: thép, đồng, nhựa, FR4, nhôm, … Mỗi chất liệu tạo nên plate sẽ tạo nên cảm giác gõ và âm thanh khác nhau.
Nhiều người sử dụng bàn phím cơ thuộc hệ mê âm thanh thích các plate được làm từ đồng. Nổi bật dòng này là bàn phím cơ Keydous NJ68 max,
Cách cố định plate vào bàn phím cũng quyết định đến cảm giác gõ bàn phím như:
Plate Tray-mounted: plate và các bộ phận sẽ được cố định vào dáy bàn phím với rất nhiều ốc vít. Bàn phím được cố định rất chắc chắn, nhưng cảm giác gõ phím khá cứng, âm thanh vang không đều.
Top-mounted, Bottom-mounted, sandwich- mounted: dùng ốc vít cố định xung quanh viền.
Gasket-mounted: bàn phím được cố định bởi những miếng nhựa, cao su ghép vào nhau mà không dùng ốc vít.
5. Stabilizer hay Stab
Stabilizer hay stab là thanh cân bằng dưới các phím dài như là: Caplock, Shift, Enter, spacebar.
DISREPAIR ERROR_422: Episode 3
Security: Chapter 2
Boring.
Itara leaned back in the oversized security chair, giving the desk a swift kick to get it spinning before staring up at the ceiling. She'd decided to hang back and watch the download since Metal and RK were faster, it made sense to have them do the search. But that meant she had to sit there and watch a computer in the meantime. Of course, she could just time travel, but she was still wary about the energy around the pizzaplex. All she had to do was touch that arcade and all of this happened. What would happen if she time traveled here?
She was kind of curious.
Sticking her foot out to stop the chair again, she grabbed the black notebook from the desk and flipped through, scanning for notes about the building. She didn't get far before the door suddenly slammed open, startling her off the chair and sending both her and the notebook sprawling to the ground. With a quick shake of her head, she stood back up, scowling towards the door, expecting it to be Metal.
“SPARKY–!”
It wasn't, though.
It was a human woman. Tall, slender, long blonde hair pulled back in a tight ponytail and through a black cap with ‘security’ written across it. The gray shirt also had a security emblem, which made who she was all too apparent. Except everyone should have been escorted out of the pizzaplex by now. Why was she here?
Itara’s eye narrowed in confusion, immediately mirrored by the human woman across the room.
“You shouldn't be here.”
Itara debated the right response for a moment before realizing she was in her own world and could respond as such. She was so used to needing to be cautious all the time. Standing back up straight and picking her journal up, she faced the woman, her tone remaining flat, “I should, actually. You, however, have no reason to be here right now. You should have left with the others. This world is far too dangerous for humans to wander on their own.”
The woman visibly hitched. Itara imagined the response was likely strange, she wasn't surprised it would catch her off-guard. What she wasn't expecting, however, was the anger that filled her face.
“Where're your parents, kid?”
Why must everyone call her a kid? “I don't have any, not that it's any concern to you.” She watched the woman's eyes scan the room, falling on the laptop and the running program. This was going to be a problem, wasn't it? Maybe she should call RK or Metal back. But before she could even pull her phone out to call them, the woman's demeanor shifted completely. She didn't even see the knife until it was firmly embedded in her laptop screen, a ring of cracks around the blade, the screen glitching before going black with a fizzing snap. Nor did she have time for the shock or rage that followed as the woman bolted across the room, pulled the knife free, and swung for her. Itara barely managed to stumble away from the slash before it went clean through her eye.
But that was all she needed to know and wasted no time seeping into the floor to escape the crazy security guard. Why was she even here?! But she couldn't just leave with all her stuff there, either. Did she chance time travel? No better time to find out.
Zipping out of the office and down the hall just enough, she rematerialized and created a portal back five minutes. She still couldn't travel huge distances without losing her physical form, but five minutes was fine. The portal took a minute to stabilize, though, enough time for the crazed woman to come rushing back out of the office, but she managed to get it stable and hop through before she could catch up.
Once on the other side, Itara took a minute to breathe and calm down and assess what happened. She had no idea who that woman was or what her problem was, but she needed to keep her from destroying her laptop! With a huff, she stood back up straight and looked around. First thing's first was a note in her journal, she'd leave it on one of the earlier pages so she'd see it right away:
The security guard has a knife, get the laptop and LEAVE!
Done. Next was to warn RK and Metal. Melting into a fog again, she zipped off to the nearest robot, finding RK around the upper floors of the atrium. He stopped once he spotted the fog, waiting for her to materialize. “I thought you were watching the laptop?”
“I am but we have a problem.  There’s a crazy lady with a knife and she breaks the laptop in about five minutes.  I’ve warned myself to just grab the laptop and leave but it’ll be easier to do so with you present.”
“Right,” RK nodded, hesitating only a moment but once she disappeared back into the floor, he took off for the office, contacting Metal via comm unit to update him on the situation.
***
“Where are your parents, kid?”
“On their way, very likely,” Itara guessed, moving in front of the laptop to block it from the woman’s view, looking for the hidden knife.  The security guard’s right arm was partially behind her, though Itara was unsure if she was already holding the weapon or if it was hidden on her person somewhere.
“Don’t you know better than to sneak into places when they’re closed?”  The second the woman strode forward towards her, Itara took the hint and reached around to close the laptop’s lid.  The download wasn’t done but it was better than being destroyed.
“I thought this place was empty but clearly it isn’t.  You’re right, I should be leaving,” she agreed, shoving the laptop and her book in her bag as quickly as possible and pulling it on.  She turned back around to face the woman just in time to not only see her standing directly over her, but also to catch a glint of something shiny behind her back.  Knife confirmed.  Time to go.  Slipping around the towering woman, she shuffled backwards to the office door, the recognizable heavy footfalls of RK nearing as she bade the woman farewell.  She waited only long enough for RK to reach her, letting him pick her up and put her on his shoulders, both of them eyeing the woman before finally turning to leave.
“What happened?”
“I’ll explain back at home.  Let’s just get out of here for now.”
“Right.”
-----
“So.  What happened?”
“Clearly, the building wasn’t empty,” Itara frowned, staring up in thought, going over every detail of the incident that hadn’t come to be.  Her notebook filled out with further notes once they were back home, detailing the initial run-in with the woman.  “Whoever that human was, she had no problem immediately resorting to violence, either.  According to my notes, she pulled out a knife, broke the laptop, and came after me.  She shouldn’t have even been there to begin with- actually, wait a minute!”  She sat back up and grabbed the notebook from the nearby computer desk, scanning through her notes and narrowing an eye.  “She shouldn’t have been there at all!  According to the database there’s only one human employed at the entire pizzaplex and they’re a night security guard.  When we came back here, it was nearly noon!  Why was she there so early?  Why was she still there after everyone evacuated?”
“Who cares?” Metal interrupted, walking over to the laptop sitting open in the desk, pulling the database folder up, “it's not like humans are particularly hard to get rid of.  If she gets violent, so do we.” He grinned back at them as Itara looked over, her expression dropping.
“While that is one solution, I think we should just be cautious of her next time we go there.  Something’s off about her and that entire building is strange.”  She stopped and looked up to the main computer when a window popped open, alerting to an activated security system.  “Damn, the power’s back on now.  I can only assume that woman turned it on… but I wonder why?  There’s no way she’s just that dedicated to the job, right?”
“It’s possible,” RK shrugged, “some security guards take their jobs fairly seriously, depending on why they’re in security to begin with.”
Both Metal and Itara glanced back at him, eyebrows raised, until Itara realized, “That’s right, you took on security jobs while I was away in the original timeline.”
“And after.  Yours and Metal’s games weren’t exactly cheap to keep up with,” he eyed them both, causing them to look off in other directions simultaneously.  Itara whistled lightly while Metal returned to the computers in an attempt to ignore the insinuation.  If anything, they were shocked he stopped trying to convince them it was just ‘training’, rather than video games.  He never let go of that one until recently.  RK shook his head at both of them but continued, “In any case, while I was mostly there just for something to do, some of my coworkers at certain jobs were deadly serious about it.  It went beyond even the paycheck for them, though I never really asked them why.  That said, I’m pretty sure none of them turned into knife-wielding maniacs over it, even if they did get a little trigger-happy with tasers.  Luckily, I was already used to dealing with Metal, so a taser-happy human wasn’t too big of an issue in comparison.”
Metal scowled over his shoulder at the comment but Itara snorted.  “RK, why DID you go into security in the original timeline, though?  Do you remember?”
He shrugged, “It was something to do to keep my body moving that didn’t ask too many questions.  I don’t remember why taking a job was ultimately what I went for but security worked well for my physical strength, plus there isn’t really much chit-chat between coworkers or the employer.  I didn’t have to worry about people wanting to know anything about me while on the job.  Probably why I went back to it even after the reset.”  Crossing his arms, he leaned back against the nearby work table, “Plus, the pay was good and your school was pricey.  I had to take a lot of extra shifts after-...”  The room fell into uncomfortable silence as both RK and Itara realized after what.
After Mira and Kelly weren’t able to cover the costs.
The hedgehog parents were back now and even Itara’s namesake somehow returned, but the incident at the mansion was still a sore spot for Itara.  She refused to let herself forget about it or pretend it didn’t happen anymore, but she didn’t like talking about it, either.  RK shook his head and drew her attention back, “Actually, speaking of the school, Mira mentioned an idea to me recently that I’m in favor of.  I think he and Lynda have been working on it, I wonder how that’s coming along.  Maybe I should help them out.”
Itara was immediately suspicious.  Nothing good ever came from Lynda being involved in anything.  “What is it?” she questioned, side-eyeing the echidna.  If Mira, Lynda, and RK were all in on it, she was concerned.
“Mira wanted to get a school back up and running.”
SHE KNEW IT!  NOTHING GOOD!
“RK WHY?!” she immediately whined, her ears flattening.  “Who needs SCHOOL?!”
“Children do.  To grow.  Obviously.  Look at all the good it did you, after all,” RK offered, though the snark was hard to miss in his tone.  “A lot of businesses and systems have been rebuilding lately.  Mira thought education should be prioritized, as well.  I fully agreed with him.  Of course, the population isn’t nearly what it used to be so it might be more generalized than it used to be but I think it’s a good starting point.”
Itara whined again, knowing full-well that if a school started back up again, RK would still make her go despite everything.  Despite the fact that it was now a well-known fact she was not a child.  That several years had passed.  That they didn’t need to blend in anymore.  He would still insist she go.  Desperate, she turned to Metal, who had been ignoring the entire conversation, “Metal!  Help!  Tell RK school is a terrible idea!”
“Why would I do that?  It’s not my concern.”
She scowled, “Do you want to go on more field trips?”
This caught his attention, as she knew it would, his own ears perking as his eyes remained straight ahead, Spagonia replaying before him.  Eventually he scowled back at both her and RK, “Absolutely not.”  He turned fully to RK, getting a slight smirk from the echidna, “I don’t care what you subject the child to-”
“HEY!”
“But if you force me to babysit one more time, I am going to destroy you.”
RK shrugged again, looking away, “I make no promises.”  The grin never left his face for even a moment, even once Metal was nearly on top of him, only stepping back to avoid the blue bot’s grasp.  The two danced around the basement lab; RK remained defensive, Metal’s attacks were half-hearted and easily avoidable, while Itara did her best to remain out of range of any stray swipe.  Metal only seemed to want to show his frustration with being roped in without actually wanting to start a fight and RK knew it well enough and let him get that frustration out.  It wasn’t going to change anything, either way and they all knew it.
The lighthearted fight came to a rather sudden stop, however, as the thud of thick boots were finally heard over the noise the two bots were making.  All three stopped and looked towards the stairs, where X had also stopped short, looking between them, discomfort and confusion written all over his face, and questioned, “...We’re not interrupting anything, are we?”
Metal and RK straightened up right away but Itara sighed in relief and moved the chair back towards the center of the room again, “No, just RK making terrible decisions.  How did the scout go?”  She studied them carefully as all three otherworlder bots moved off the stairs and further into the basement lab, signs of a battle rather blatant on all their armor.  Scuff marks, dents, chipped edges, but the worst sign was the look of exhaustion on X and Axl’s face… and the frustration on Zero’s.  Well, more frustration than usual, possibly even rage.  While RK and Metal moved back to their usual spots near the computer, Axl leaned against a far wall while Zero remained by X near the center.
Finally, X sighed and shook his head, “We located them both, it seems they were, in fact, working together…”
“And?”“And they escaped,” Zero snapped.
One of the advantages of DBH timeline is ... Some things can be separate without major impacts.
We could have Markus first act to happen in a certain period, have Connor's The Hostage and the investigation being in the same period, have the investigation expanded in months and start the uprising with Markus in November while the investigation been happening for some time already. Kara's story also fits perfectly in a span of a week.
But there's one issue with Connor's investigation: TIME. One of the characteristics of Connor's investigation arc is being in a hurry to clean CyberLife's dirty baby ass, he gotta find about things fast before the big media finds out about something (although I could argue the media already knows there's something wrong with androids since Daniel made thru first pages). And there's also the fact Markus is relevant in this case, at least the RK plot but there's no need to rush this topic.
Idk if CyberLife would let a Connor on local police for, like, 2 or 3 months. Amanda keeps telling he gotta have a conclusion fast, constantly using it against Connor threatening to replace him. Damn, the whole series project get cancelled if u can't find Jericho in that specific moment, but what causes this rush is the uprising but at the same time even when things ain't totally public or "extremely serious" (consequently not dragging the feds and homeland security around) we still have this "solve the motherfucking case NOW".
So my impression with the og timeline is if we don't have an uprising but the cases keep popping up, it's likely Connor's assignment could end in the same period of time (a week) as months are enough to drag more unnecessary attention and have a "failure" feeling, like it's leading nowhere - something CyberLife dislikes. DPD already suffers from leaks.
How Can I Minimize Downtime During Office Shifting?
Introduction:
Office shifting can be a challenging endeavor, especially when it comes to minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity during the transition. Whether you're relocating to a new office space in the same building or moving to a different location altogether, efficient planning and execution are essential for ensuring a smooth and seamless transition. In this blog, we'll explore effective strategies for minimizing downtime during office shifting services with the assistance of RKS Transport, a trusted partner in relocation services.
Tumblr media
1. Plan Ahead
The key to minimizing downtime during office shifting is careful planning and preparation. Start by creating a detailed timeline and checklist that outlines all the tasks and milestones leading up to the move. Assign responsibilities to designated team members and establish clear communication channels to ensure everyone is on the same page. By planning ahead, you can identify potential challenges and address them proactively, reducing the risk of unexpected delays.
2. Coordinate with RKS Transport
Collaborating with a reputable moving company like RKS Transport is essential for a successful office relocation. Work closely with RKS Transport to coordinate the logistics of the move, including scheduling pickup and delivery times, determining transportation requirements, and ensuring the safe handling of office furniture and equipment. By entrusting the logistics to professionals, you can focus on other aspects of the move and minimize downtime for your business.
3. Pack Strategically
Efficient packing is crucial for minimizing downtime during office shifting. Start packing non-essential items well in advance of the move date, focusing on areas of the office that are less frequently used. Label boxes clearly with their contents and destination within the new office to streamline the unpacking process. Consider hiring professional packers to ensure that fragile items and sensitive equipment are packed securely and safely.
4. Communicate with Employees
Effective communication is key to minimizing downtime and maintaining employee morale during office shifting. Keep employees informed about the relocation plans, including important dates, timelines, and expectations. Encourage open dialogue and address any concerns or questions they may have about the move. By involving employees in the process and keeping them informed every step of the way, you can foster a sense of ownership and cooperation that will help ensure a smooth transition.
5. Plan for IT Infrastructure
One of the most critical aspects of office shifting is ensuring the continuity of IT infrastructure and systems. Work closely with your IT department or service provider to plan and execute the relocation of servers, computers, and other technology equipment. Make sure that network connections, internet access, and phone lines are set up and tested in advance at the new office location to minimize downtime and avoid disruptions to business operations.
6. Delegate Responsibilities
Delegating responsibilities to key team members can help distribute the workload and ensure that all aspects of the office shifting process are addressed effectively. Assign specific tasks such as coordinating with vendors, overseeing packing and unpacking, and managing communication with clients and stakeholders. By empowering employees to take ownership of their responsibilities, you can streamline the relocation process and minimize downtime for your business.
7. Conduct a Test Run
Before the actual move date, consider conducting a test run to identify any potential issues or challenges that may arise during the relocation process. This could involve simulating the packing, loading, and transportation of office furniture and equipment to ensure that everything goes smoothly on the day of the move. Address any issues or concerns that arise during the test run to minimize the risk of delays or disruptions during the actual move.
8. Plan for Post-Move Setup
Once you've arrived at the new office location, focus on quickly setting up essential systems and workspaces to minimize downtime and facilitate a smooth transition. Prioritize packers and movers in Coimbatore for unpacking and arranging furniture, setting up IT infrastructure, and ensuring that employees have access to the tools and resources they need to resume work as soon as possible. Consider scheduling a team meeting or orientation session to familiarize employees with the new office layout and procedures.
Conclusion
Minimizing downtime during office shifting requires careful planning, coordination, and execution. By following these strategies and partnering with a reliable moving company like RKS Transport, you can streamline the relocation process and ensure a smooth transition for your business. With efficient packing, clear communication, and proactive planning, you can minimize disruptions to business operations and quickly get back to business as usual in your new office space.
Sent further back in time than the tower intended, Six sees that she has a short amount of time to prevent her first failure to save someone.
~
Okay, first I need to clarify which route I’m taking for the time travel subject, though your brains will probably still leak from this explanation of mine.
I’m not going for the ‘butterfly effect’ trope, as that leads to a whole other can of worms like ‘since RCG never died, then this Six would be erased and never manage to save RCG in the first place’ basically the whole ‘grandfather paradox’. So instead, I’m going the same route that Avengers: Endgame took and make it so that changing the past doesn’t erase the present/future, but instead it creates a new timeline. That way the events of the past are altered for Six, but she doesn’t disappear, nor does it then erase Mono and RK’s happy ending.
As for the VLN version of Six not showing up, in this comic’s rules of time travel, when someone is transported to the past to alter an event that involved them the first time, and they will and do succeed in changing the outcome of the event, the past version of themselves will disappear the instant that the present/future version of themselves show up, allowing the version who came back in time to replace their past selves. If the one who went back in time fails to change the outcome of the past, then both their past and present selves remain, which is why neither Mono or Thin Man disappear because their actions cause the outcome of the past to stay the same, thus they both remain. Here however, the Six who came back to the past already knows what will happen and therefore will be able to change the outcome, causing her VLN self to wink out of existence the second she arrived back at the Nest.
That way, there won’t be two versions of the same person in the same time period to cause distortion to time. That, and I want to avoid having two Sixes in this comic.
TL;DR: Future selves of people who succeed in altering a past event replace their past selves, to avoid having two Sixes in this comic. And time travel is an absolute b*tch to write.
This is where in time and space that the rift took Six; back to the Nest a minute before Raincoat Girl’s death.
Six remembers the original event, so she knows what will happen if she doesn’t act correctly in time. She finds it too risky to finish off the Pretender due to the Pretender’s erasing/disintegrating touch power, so she just takes Raincoat Girl away before the Pretender awakes from the boulder that Six dropped on her (again).
Now it’s a chase down the cliffs to the raft for the girls.
