modern actor/celebrity AU for any two kids u wanna talk about :>
oh boy, this is a fun and silly one let’s go. okay so the obvious first candidate would be maeve
we been knew she could pull off being a big star. one of those wombo combo writers and actors who ends up starring in one or two or a few of the adaptions of her own works on top of the other things she stars in. i could see in some worlds her also(/or) releasing music tbh
speaking of—Of Course as an actress she primarily works on period or fantasy pieces because she loves the drama and romance of them. other than that i could see her being a hit in rom-coms, romances, musicals, and thrillers. i would personally kill for a maeve role in a period paranormal film, i simply think it would be dope
an absolute hoe for con panels, online interviews and podcasts guest spots because it's the perfect excuse for her to get all passionate and eager to share about her works with the folk who are the most interested. don't let her do any of those puppy interviews because she'll want to adopt all of them by the end of it
legally obligated to make a joke about her having her own taika/tessa/rita moment in the media of the cameras catching her with more than one partner. which leads into her being ardent about openly talking on her polyamory & bisexuality whenever she can to spread more proud and positive representation.
caused a meltdown in her fan community one time because she dyed her hair a deep purple out of the blue and debuted it thru a fuckn insta story or something unassuming lmao
second kiddo would have to be riya lmao
one of those celebs who was in the spotlight from birth because both of her parents are famous. grew up a media darling and ate up all the attention, probably became an influencer in her late teens because of being so active on social media.
unfortunately i know in my heart that she would be the worst little diva imaginable when she first starts working because she's been spoiled her entire life. real big "i'll be in my trailer k bye" "i want this very specific flavor of ice cream that's only sold out of country ready for me or i'll throw a fit" "yeah i'll wait for my driver who cares if i'm 20 minutes late" kind of energy. people put up with it because she's pretty, is surprisingly good at acting, and her daddy's the one who got her those first roles and everyone loves him so they don't wanna make him upset by bringing up the fact his daughter's kind of a brat ://
has a new partner on her arm like every damn month. probably becomes a whole Thing for fandom and certain media outlets to predict which co-star she's going to start hooking up with whenever the cast is announced for her next project tbh
the majority of her roles are rich characters because she plays the part well and positively adores being put in expensive wardrobes. can't be convinced otherwise that her most well known role wouldn't be some type of princess in a fantasy or historical, she'd eat that shit up. the material, the wardrobe, the constant instances of people addressing her ass princess in interviews which needs to be stopped her ego is big enough as is please god
she's probably been involved in multiple instances of people recording her in embarrassing/shameful/private moments and selling the clips off to online tabloids. being shamed by her mother for behavior at a party in some back room, a loud break-up outside of her hotel at 1am, talking mad shit about one of her co-stars while drunk outside of a club as she waits for her driver, etc etc. hopefully she grows up and stops behaving like that lmao
send me an au and i’ll tell you 5 headcanons for it!

“Journalist Haneen Harara captured this moment in a medical tent within a Rafah displacement camp, interviewing a woman on the verge of giving birth. Amidst the uncertainty and suddenness of her situation, without even a change of clothes or the comfort of her family—who are at the European hospital—she finds herself in a vulnerable state. Her only companions are her cousin and his wife, offering a glimmer of support in this critical moment. The woman shares her decision to name her baby Riya." from Translating Falasteen, 14/Mar/2024:

Just like any person who is sane about both Cult of the Lamb and linguistics would do, I responded to the massive monster lofi stream by using my day to turn all the random symbol's in Lamb's notebook into an alphabet for a language of the Old Gods, complete with phonology, grammar, and enough vocabulary to translate the Bee Movie intro and transcribe it onto a commandment stone. Exact translation of the text:
The edicts of flight state that a bee should not fly. Its inferior small wings cannot lift its inferior fat body. Honorably, the bee flies regardless. Why? Bees care not for our edicts.
It's pronounced: Tiirutyi ibri yatru ubribati nachyriapruip chyira yiwyuiba yitu ikri. Yitutiirua shrichyi lutlat trulru naishraubu ti pyichyi nachrik’ubu. Wratrarupru, tiichyira yiwyuiba usyapru. Riya lut? Yitutiit’ruchri yiwyuiba tuprat naubribati.

Disventure Camp All Stars Episode 17
Tumblr media
Looking writing a complicated process. I know this but ... like come on. Like I'm not trying to be dismissive, toxic, or giving into the heated feelings. But man this episode is bring out those feelings of hate. So please give me a moment to just let it all out and VENT.
Elimination: Grett
WHAT THE FUCKING POINT OF HER OUT MANEUVERING ALEC AND ELIMINATING ONE OF THE STRONGEST COMPETITORS IN THE GAME. IF WE ARE JUST GOING TO ELIMINATE HER NEXT EPISODE. To translate this into wrestling comparison. Grett was Miz cashing in on Drew McIntyre to become the WWE Champion only to get fed to Bobby Lashley. IT DOES NOTHING FOR THE TRANSITIONAL CHAMPION BESIDES MAKING THEM LOOKING LIKE A LOSER!!! IT ALSO MAKES THE WRITERS LOOK BAD FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SWAP CONTROL OF THE GAME FROM THE CURRENT "CHAMP" TO THE REAL "CHAMP" YOU'RE PUSHING. SO YOU HAVE TO SAC A CHARACTER TO DO THIS. For what may I ask?! The relationship that NONE OF US GIVE A SHIT ABOUT! Jake: Fuck it, EARLY GAME MEANS NOTHING
Conner: Character Progression, NO, regressing back to pre breakup because fuck it, we got to continue the FEUD, RANDY ORTON GOT TO BE CHAMPION DANIEL BRYAN SORRY! Ally: I'm sorry Grett, nah FUCK YOU. You are a flipper and just embrace it. YOU ARE NOT HERO, ACT LIKE A VILLAIN!
Riya: Fuck it, RIYA IS THE JOHN CENA v. RANDY ORTON ENDLESS FEUD THAT WOULD NEVER END! Oh now she feels bad about it, fuck you, how about you go fuck yourself. She didn't feel bad about try to kill someone but since it Conner she feels bad, SCREW YOU! Sorry I had to get the heat out, I not saying the writers are bad. But man this episode did not work for me.

heyyy rid ....mujhe abhi pata chala kya chal raha hai south korea mai
its like disgusting ....i feel like u have a huge crowd at this platform so more people will get aware of it
recently SK ki females internationally help mang rahi thi ki unke liye stand up kare log cuz wahn ke chat rooms nikal ke aye hai which is on telegram uspe wahn ke males chat group mai deepfakes share karte the apne family , workplace , coworkers, school kids and teens , especially family ....nd jab ye baat bahar nikal kar ayi toh ispe uss tym jada action liya hi nhi gya cuz wahn ki government isee important nhi smjhti they let it go like something very normal
unki chays ke jab SS reveal hue toh bht hi diagusting baatein nikali like females ko bht hi zada rights diye hue hai in translation if i say uska matlab ye tha ki bht udd rahi hai ladkiyan niche rehna chahiye like that
aur ye sab sexual harrasment toh hai hi but ye sab females ko nicha ya inferior samjhna jaissa tha nd ofc humiliation ... jispe based unke chat room ka naam bhi hai
after all this first the kolkata case jiska mai reason same inferior dekhna tha uske baad bhi bht cases aye the then abb ye .... aisa lagta hai ki humanity khatam si hoti ja rahi hai
dosri taraf taliban mai jane kya kya restricyion laga diye hai ki bare face bahar nhi nikalna hands nhi dikhne chahiye koi sound nhi nikalni chahiye
uske baad recently ek rape culprit joki US se hai mujhe confirm nhi kahan se hai but hai west ka hi usne bhi bht hi henious crime kiya tha aur 28urs jail ke baad woh bahar aagya hai aur khula ghoom rha like no restrictions over him
ab baat countries par rahi hi nahi hai ye world pe aagyi hai WE ARE NOT SAFE ANYWHERE except agr hum apne mummy papa se chipak kar rahe toh shyd safe ho
idk bht bura lag raha hai kya ho rha hai duniya mai kabhi kabhi aisa lagta hai ki ab kuch matter bhi karta hai ya nhi life mai but fir sab bhulne ki koshish karti hu ...bht mushkil se toh mai kolkata wale case se dimag hataya tha lekin ab ye sab hine laga 🥲🥲🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️
aorry for such a long rant but bht tym se ye sab mere andhar bhara hua hai
kasam se waise bhi mai kisi relation mai nhi ayi abhi tak aur ab toh shyd sawal hi nhi uthta hai
but again i think lets not lose hope abhi tym hai shyd kuch thik hojaye
i'm going to answer in english bc i feel like this could be of concern for everybody. so the ask basically talks about the different occurrences of SA of women all over the world, including but not limited to the south korea deepfake porn scandal or the absolutely devastating kolkata doctor rape-murder case. i've heard of most of these and i had the same thoughts as you, riya… it's saddening and terrifying that women are seen as something inferior, like a stray dog that they can treat however they like. i feel like the world had gotten better for a while and now its morals are dropping again.
it's scary as a woman, it's scary to go out, to fall in love, to marry, to dress a certain way for joy, to even go to work. i'm not surprised that these korean women won't marry or date men anymore, bc even i, in a modern central european country, am horrified and so freaking scared that i might fall into a guy's trap and end up in a terrible relationship.
i get your fears, my love. i've cried so many times about this now… i'm so sorry you feel that way, too. all we can do is hold onto hope and believe that things will get better, that we will get justice, that men will be educated too, and that we can live a life with somebody who cherishes us and shows us that not everybody is inherently bad. you can vent here anytime. we're all here for you 🫂

(translation: "five months since the idea came to me but if it works it works")
this art is so adorable!!! i love how they used Ellie's hair to make it look like she only had one eye. it would be funny to see a version of Monsters Inc where the monsters are... well, a bit more monstrous. like, if Alec and Ellie really enjoy terrifying children, and then they come across a wicked kid who isn't scared by anything, and it takes interacting with that problem child to realize that all kids deserve to be protected no matter what.
lol, i don't know how starting a disliked plotline and getting away with it scot free makes you win, but i'm liking the sound of Alec being the winner.
i said to someone recently that if you'd told me at the beginning of the season that someone on the Yellow Tribe was going to win the season, Riya probably would have been my fourth most likely pick, only because the idea of Yul winning is so cursed and Miriam obviously wasn't going to win a second time. Grett, Alec, and Connor all seemed much more likely to win, and i think the fandom would have vastly preferred crowning any of those three the winner over Riya.
the idea of DCAS being an in-universe scripted show is certainly an interesting one. i can almost see that more than it being an unscripted show-- the producers of Disventure Camp would probably support the idea of the biggest star winning because it would draw the most headlines.
it would even also explain things like the kiss-a-thon and Riya pushing Connor off of a horse. many people have critiqued the former as Kristal potentially punishing a teenage girl (Lake or Maggy) for not wanting to kiss a 50 year old man (Connor), but if the show was scripted in-universe, Kristal herself would have known that that wasn't going to happen, not just the ONC writers. and, if Connor breaking his leg was a scripted stunt, it would explain why Riya wouldn't go to jail or get kicked off the show for being so cruel to him.
c... conspiracy unlocked?

So what’s your final opinion of Disventure Camp All-Star now that it comes to a end?
Also regarding winner, you are right! They didn’t go with “Who deserved to win” and tons of fans are piss off.
and so we have made it to the end. dcas is officially over... sobbing a lil at that fact. now. finale rambles under the cut (tldr: 7/10 season):
i think dcas was pretty nice for what it gave. i know a lot of people think it's shit, and i do nod my head at most concerns i've seen through posts on here and elsewhere. but idk. i had a relatively good time these past couple of months while watching!
let's start with...
Things I Liked:
The Main Premise (and in extension, Riya's Story) — this season showed that it truly wasn't about who deserved to win, it was about who wanted it most. and riya wanted it badly, to the point where it changed her for the worst whenever a camera was around. it took me until ally's elimination to see the direction this season was going (so... basically near the end LOL), but once it clicked, i was like. wowie. this is a bold choice of a winner. and interesting as fuckkkk, despite it not being hinted at as much as i hoped it would near the beginning. i don't think i've ever seen someone who is deemed as a villain be the only winner of a show like this. no alt endings or anything, just a villain win that sort of translates into a loss when you really think about how nobody is in riya's corner anymore. i know people (mostly riya fans) were disappointed with how sad and slightly open ended riya's conclusion arc was, but i personally can't be that upset at it. rosa maria's message during her elimination in season 2 really hit here. riya let the game change her, and though she won three million dollars, she has absolutely nobody (except potentially her sister eesha, but even still, that's not the best way for things to end for her). tis the way the cookie crumbles. i'm glad the writing team decided to go with this instead of the jake ending like thank GOODNESS for the proofreaders omg this is what proofreaders are for!!! (also. i'm clearly biased to the 'faking in front of cameras/others just to become a realer version of oneself once that's tested' characters in particular. look at my icon rn. i think you can understand why i'm such a big fan of this)
Allyson Amber— obligatory ally mention LOL. i think i already rambled enough on why i love ally so so so much as a character, so i will avoid. today. just know that opinion still stands.
Voice Acting— i am not a voice actor, just a voice actor enthusiast, so idk how much my words truly mean here. but i absolutely loveeeee the vocal direction this season went. best vocal performance in the whole series thus far. i can tell each actor + anybody on the voicing team worked hard to deliver! each character's voice really fit and everyone is so talented. hashtag i love connecting voices to characters. i'm excited for s4 voices ahhhh <3
The Grett + Gabby Friendship— we had her for like a good two eps and it still solo'd. going from what had happened in season 1 to what happened in season 3 was chef's kiss. it showed that both grett and gabby grew as characters throughout their whole journey on dc. idk i just love their bond so much, hashtag thank you for adding that.
and now...
Things I have Mixed Feelings About:
Gabby and Ally's Elimination— am i that mad that they ultimately left? eh not really, especially after i learned what type of story onc was aiming to tell this season. but am i mad about how they left? absolutely. because it was bullshitttttt omg. last minute, out of nowhere changes that cause eliminations of characters will never fail to piss me off. personally. even if real life is unfair like this too. (i'm only human LOL let me live)
TomJake Plot-Line— the good news (?) is that i don't find it absolutely mind-numbingly awful anymore. jake's cool. tom's okay. so overall, now i just think the plot is thee definition of mid. improvement! but still mid! i think certain ships in media are not for me, and this is one of em. sorry tomjakers, they should have had a meaningful conversation a long ass time ago. (also why tf they the finale thumbnail like MOVEEEEE with yall yaoi moment /lh)
Connor's Marriage— not that big of a deal, props to connor for finallyyyyyyy retiring from his savior complex (like i genuinely clapped for him cause that was a LONGGGGGG time coming), but a record scratch DID go off in my head when i saw that lol wedding pic. like OH... okay! congrats? i guess? (idek why i had this reaction or why i'm even writing about it lol, connor is Just Okay to me so)
Certain Lack of Character Interactions— i know this is a parody of reality TV and the show can only do so much, especially for characters that got eliminated early on. and i know i can quite literally go on something like ao3 and either find some fic that caters to my tastes or create it myself. but i frowned a lil when i realized certain characters wouldn't talk that much canonically. the curse of an all stars season is that they're bringing back some of the best characters this series has to offer. so when i don't get to see them interact, i go "aww. fair. but aww." (biggest examples here would be grett and hunter during the returnee challenge (because they can serve as interesting parallels (why would they finally make me gaf about hunter just to make him have like 30 seconds of lines ugh onc i am GLARING)), and jake and tess in general (the slightly healed meets the destructive work in progress. the difference in mental health journeys and how they can reflect within gameplay + outside convos. we coulda squeezed a lil somethin here. for me.))
Ellie's Plot-Line— one of the main reasons why i found ellie so compelling as a character is because the choices she made, both good and bad, all connected with her need for money due to being a college student who's not that well off. so to see that written off at the end was... well. eh? like cool, she's got gabby and grett, and they do matter the most, and i loveeeee their bond, but like. girly is a student in nyc and losing all that money is fucking huge. (i think it's mostly the bad pacing here, so i'm not giving it too much critique)
Grett's Plot-Line— onc introduced that whole tree scene (one of my fav scenes btw), and i thought that was so inspiring. "oh my gosh, i can't wait to see grett shine after she was constantly disrespected by some fucker that should have gotten his ass beat a long ass time ago!" i exclaimed. and then, she was eliminated. look. i get the whole premise of this season. i like it, too. so even though i think grett deserved to win the most, i can understand why the writers didn't have her win. BUT i think they should have written her arc with way more care and attention. if anything, i remember more harmful moments than good. grett deserved better than that. to me.
Huntally Plot-Line— i like huntally. and i wish it was written a bit better. it felt... rushed in comparison to other things we've seen here. granted, they couldn't do as much as others when hunter was eliminated so quickly, but still. meh overall.
and finally...
Things I Didn't Like:
The Staffs' Plot-Line— yall. the way i grew to not give a singular fuck about this plot... i saw people complain about tomjake screen time or jake screentime or ally vs jake screentime or connor vs riya screentime or riya screentime. which, okay whatever i guess. but LOOK AT THE REAL CULPRITS HERE... they're already getting a spinoff, idgaf about some staff when i won't be able to see some of the contestants ever again after this season!!! trevek irritated the absolute hell outta me, kristal made me side eye, marcus, nina and oliver were there i guess, and emily? man. i think that alone needs another bullet point hold on-
Emily's Plot-line (if you can even call it that)— yes, yes, i already know, emily was terrible, this was shown in the very first ep, she was never supposed to be rooted for, blahblahblah. but why. why did she decide to help yul. why did she decide to help trevor. why is she helping men so much. why did she turn so cartoonishly evil in the end. why is she like that. it's so uncanny to me. it just feels like she's more of a plot device that she is a character, which makes her fall so fucking flat. it blows. to me.
The Therapist Characters— ashley and tess are the biggest examples of this. not to say that friends irl don't ask this question, but fuck, did i get tired of hearing "are you ok?" or "what's wrong?" or "here let me give you some advive." it feels like such a reduction of their characters, which really sucks considering they didn't get much characterization in comparison to other characters in the first place.
"Be the Bigger Person, Ally"— okay. the more i think about this the more it pisses me off. this is a quote from episode 18, where connor tells ally to be the bigger person in her whole situation with jake. now riddle me this, chat. why is it that connor only tells ally to be the bigger person, then a few minutes later when talking to jake, he goes "oh there's only so much i can accomplish with jake" in the confessional? you didn't even reiterate the same words old man. that makes it seem like ally should do more and adjust what she deems as okay and not okay, just so her tension with jake can dwindle, while jake gets a sigh and a slap on the wrist and a "welp i tried." despite her more immature reactions later on during this plot, ally had every right to be bitter toward someone who kept snapping at her and giving her attitude because no good communication was being used to explain why he kept doing that. instead, i wish the message could have been something like "communicate, then try to insert yourself in their shoes so you can understand each other better because you're more alike than you think" to BOTH ally and jake, because this conflict involves BOTH of them, and needs to be worked on by BOTH of them, not just by one damn party. (i could dive into shit like the sexism connotations of the message "be the bigger person" only being directed to the female character here, but ehhhh, not today + people would think i'm overreacting when i know i'm not)
Yul— look, even if i put the whole slur slinging slanger incident that occurred to the side, i still was not a fan of how yul was portrayed here for that long. idgaf if he's sometimes funny. it just made me feel uncomfy seeing such a disrespectful piece of shit get this far with a burn to the face that didn't even stay permanently. like oh so emily can be in bandages for "a year or two," but bigot mcgee here gets off burn free? okay. don't piss me off. and yes, i understand his sponsorship ending where he's still acting fake because "it doesn't matter to him whether he's liked or not," and i know he serves as an okay parallel to james at best. but personallyyyyy if we were going with the whole "yul is the worst type of famous person imaginable" angle, you could have at least made the consequences of his actions stick to his face forevermore. (that's like the only thing they got right with endeavor from my hero like come on)
and that's about it. i think. overall, i'd give this season a solid 7. i know it looks like there's more stuff i didn't like or felt indifferent about, but i just feel like i have to explain my distastes a little more so people can understand me pfft. but yeah, it's not too bad of a season, even if i side eye some things.
and i'm looking forward to season four! from what i've seen, from the short character dialogues in the voice acting tryouts (ruby save me), to the potential storyboarded scene of the setting (abandoned carnival vibes???), i am most certainly sat. i really hope onc improves from here on out :)

Title: Buwan ng Wika '18
🇵🇭 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵⭐⭐ Filipino/Tagalog ⭐☀️ 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 🇵🇭
🇺🇸 🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦 English 🟥⬜🟥⬜🟥 🇺🇸
Here yet again the second time I made it for Philippine "Language Month"!
When Rita Speedster dressed up her Philippine Terno and also a Filipino teacher 🐶🚺👩‍🏫 (yes, she was good at Filipino subject before she mastered English) who learns and teaches her kids (Spot 🐶🏎️ & Riya 🐰🏎️), MuruKir 🔵⭐ and Cude 🐰🤖, to speak and communicate properly using their own language country.
I prefer a whiteboard, a white marker that Rita used, and colors to see perfectly instead of a traditional classic chalkboard. With the English translated written with my point sign pen → Let's celebrate the Philippine "Language Month"! 🇵🇭📖😄
BTW: Bonn Speedster 🐰🚹 was absent, at the time. Owing to busy night competing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. 🏁🚘🛣️🇫🇷
🇵🇭: Maligayang Buwan ng Wika, Pilipinas! 😄😁 🇺🇸: Happy Philippine Language Month! 😄😁

🌟 + the Johto Elite Four? /genuine, lighthearted
Send a 🌟 + name and I’ll talk about my self insert’s bond to that character!
Tumblr media
oh man i had so much fun with brainstorming this stuff back when i made Our Love Is Here To Stay. will constantly be referring back to this fic as i talk about them
Will - I made him kinda showboaty and full of himself in my fic lol, but also i feel like that's kinda true about his character, from what i remember off the top of my head. Also weird vibes. Like, once, when I was a teen, I think I dreamt that he had a crush on me and wanted me to date him instead of Lance? So I kiiiiiindaaa very subtly snuck that into the background lore of the fic. I think Riya was the only one I've told that to so far, outside of whenever I probably posted that on my devart journal when it first happened lol?. Basically, he's just Lance's coworker to me.
Bruno - Love this guy, or well, the way he came out in the fic. Basically kinda borrowed a smidge from pokemas' direction with his character, but also the idea that he's also one of those cheerful loudboxes with how often he shouts HOO-HAH! or something :p Canonically, I don't think he'd be as big of a softie as I wound up writing him, but it was too funny not to think about him being like that. He's always very nice and sweet with me and greets everyone loudly. He was also the one who won all the betting pools on when Lance and I would date/propose/etc. Everyone overthought it, he just synthesized gossip info from the pokecen/league employees. He's kinda like that boisterous loud uncle who would also get very serious if someone tried to hurt you? But mostly we just enjoy having Pokemon battles together a lot and sometimes he shares his food with me if I'm waiting for Lance at the Pokemon League.
Karen - I love Karen!!!! I forget where the hell I got the idea that she was canonically a model/fashionista of some sort, but you can't tell me that's a wrong headcanon to have. She's that work bestie-in-law kinda thing except it's my husband's work but my bestie when i go there. She'll share devious little secrets about Lance with me, especially in the early/dating years, though by now there's less she could share that I wouldn't already know/believe. She still tells me when he's done something embarrassing (for him) and then I get to just later be like "So, honey... about <redacted event>?" "I really wish Karen didn't catch that =_="
When Lance and I were first dating/almost dating, she was very supportive and helpful for basic dating/beauty/appearance tips. c: She also sometimes envies us, because she hasn't had a lot of long-term relationships that worked out because of her position/goals/life ambitions and beliefs.
Koga - embarassing old man co-worker that you tease your husband about him becoming. Koga and I have battled enough, from when he was originally a Gym Leader and again after his promotion to the E4, that he respects me as a Pokemon Trainer. But it took awhile for him to start seeing me as a grown-up adult from when I most battled him as a kid and teen. We have a fairly amicable relationship overall, as far as the coworker vs coworker's wife dynamic goes. He's this cool but sometimes embarrassingly out of touch old guy I know and I'm some person who can help translate his teenage daughter's mysterious ways!
Thank you so much for asking about them! I absolutely love getting to talk about them whenever I can on a meta level bc of the fic I wrote, bc I went from being like "yeah sure they're characters may as well include them" to "this is my husband's squad of coworkers and everyone in this group is embarrassing to each other in some way shape or form."

The Shared Dream
Hello, hello~! Hope you folks are all enjoying the anniversary event so far ^^
This is the 5th anniversary special post celebration The Shackles of Time’s 1 year anniversary. This piece is a little different than the rest. It’s a short snippet that takes place somewhere between the First Quest arc and the Guild Master’s Meeting arc. Provided I don’t forget, I’ll be adding it to the chapter masterlist. (I didn’t want to ruin the surprise by adding it before the celebration.)
This piece is inspired by @hyba‘s favorite part of the world building, the guild system.
It is a little over 700 words long, so the shortest chapter I’ve done to date.
As far as content warnings go, there really aren’t any. No violence, no swearing, nothing of the sort. It mentions some of the characters that passed before the story started, but it doesn’t really talk about their deaths or anything.
Overall, just a nostalgic little piece about what The Time Keeper finds when they finally decide to clean out their desk.
 And with that, happy reading~!
Tumblr media
When was the last time these drawers had been sorted through? Weeks? Months? Mostly likely years, if she was being honest with herself.
The Time Keeper let out a long sigh, dragging out more and more pages from the depths of their desk. She shuffled through them, sorting them into various piles. So much clutter, so much history, so much she had forgotten she even had. Though, they brought the memories rushing back.
Notices of changes in the guild regulations from the Honored Council’s division of Guild Management and Commerce, requests for assistance researching various magic projects or opinions on translations of various ancient texts from the ancestors’ lost cities, supplies requests from Emlyn, the cooks, and the alchemists; Bramble’s questions about how certain quests should be ranked, and correspondence with other guild masters filled at least a third of the deep drawer all on their own.
Mind numbing reminders of the pressures her exploits and position has put on her shoulders. But beneath the layers of bureaucracy and business, The Time Keeper began to find small treasures.
Adorable love notes from Wyndulin, complete with some dried flowers he brought back from some of his quests. The report of Glenn and Zephyr’s first mission, complete with drafts of Wyndulin’s hand written apologies for the inconvenience the small fire that resulted had caused her and the guild. Copies of Riya’s research notes on The Shadowed Gates was near the bottom, complete with the beautifully sketched diagrams of their local Gate. Drusilla’s several page advice on how to properly maintain some of the more fickle plants in their greenhouse. Some of her own research notes had gotten mixed in as well.
At the very bottom of the drawer was a piece of creamy parchment that gave her pause. It had been a long time since she had seen this. Carefully, she slid it out of the drawer. The magic tingled through her fingertips as she touched it, but it did not deter her from treating this particular document with reverence. The silver leafing in the decorative boarder shined in the various metallic lights that floated around her office.
The Time Keeper’s speckled eyes slid over the words, though she already knew it by heart.
Guild license issued 15th of Greencrown in the 208th year of the Starrend Era in the name of the Honored Council’s Division of Guild Management and Commerce for: The Dawn Isle Guild.

First Guildmaster: The Time Keeper
Guild Location: Beneath the Dawn Isle island, between Lady Fair Lake and Grasscairn village.
With this license, we hereby acknowledge the founding of The Dawn Isle guild and grant members under its banner the right to provide services within the domain of the Honored Council for payment under section 5 of the ‘Sellsword and Adventuring’ guidelines, as set by the Division of Guild Management and Commerce.
We congratulate you on the founding of your guild, and pray to the Goddess Fortune that your members find prosperity and we pray to the God Mercy that your roads are gentle.
Signed, Sixth Seat of the Honored Council,
~ Lord Ardred Heartblood
The Timekeeper’s fingers glided over the names written in dark ink.
Soul, Yvain, Kierian, and Nor... They had started this guild together, they had shared the same dream once a long time ago. A home for a family made up of friends. A safe place to rest at the end of a harrowing journey, a beacon of hope on a long road, a gathering place for misfits and kind hearts.
The dream was realized, but they weren’t around to see it.
With a soft sigh, she set the parchment aside.
Perhaps... Perhaps they could frame it and hang it up in the guildhall somewhere? In one of the common rooms would be a good place for it. The missing faces would always hurt, but she didn’t wish them to be forgotten. In the very least, the ones whom were living their shared dream should know the names of the ones who founded this place they called home. The ones whom helped her build this hall one log at a time.
She’d have to talk to Wyn about it later.

Two Guys Revising at The Back* by Hayase Reku.
*I don't feel confident in this at all. The original is basically "Two Tarous at the back of the line revising." Tarou is a really stereotypical name; it's like the Japanese version of John Smith or something. You need a hypothetical guy, he's Tarou. According to what I found online, it seems it can also be used as slang for a protagonist, but that sounded awkward, so I just went with this title.
I'm not feeling great about this one all told, so I just did what I could. I'm no professional, after all.
As others, this comes from parasitoidism's scans.

Disventure Camp All Stars Episode 14 Spoilers
So I was aware of the leak, didn't check it out and was hearing all these comments "that oh everyone going to be pissed!" and like in theory I can kind of understand why someone would be annoyed. Nah, for this episode was fine. The TikTok dances was beyond me, but like I'm old and out of touch so *shrug* But let start with the most controversial part, the elimination. I get it losing not by vote is a controversial feature in game show so I can understand the salt. As for sending Gabby home, it at least make sense to me. Again I've been pointing out for a while that Gabby has had very little in story for like the first 9 episodes and more a piece of the Ellie Storyline. So far we've been having this 2nd personality arc, again you could argue that it should be given another episode or two to cook. But it kind of make sense, Gabby won over Grett from Yul and bury the hatchet. Now the final bit was does she give in and set all her work aflame for revenge or be the Gabby we all love and know. She stood true and while she got eliminated she wasn't corrupted. Again whether or not Gabby was wasted throughout the season is entire different conversation. But if her arc was to be the thing that would split Grett and Yul and help fill the Villains vs Heroes story line. Then goal achieved. Her story was a late game one and did it job. Like you can will the idea of Gabby winning but it just doesn't make sense for her to. Maybe I gave up on the hope so it hurt far far less. Riya - Riya going to absolutely be the reason people lose but she ain't winning with out heavy asterisk. Ally - hey you want to see one of those people look left. She got a bus to be pushed in front of it just a matter of time. The only timeline I see her winning is if everyone forgets she exist and she sneak in for a win. Jake: Classic Jake, not playing well with others. But to be fair he at least tried. But I'm expecting he going to get push before the bus by Ally right before Riya pushes her on to him to confirm the double kill. Grett: Depending on next episode she might shoot up, she got a chance to take this Gabby storyline to the moon. She has the ingredients for a face turn and I'm here for it. Aiden: I'm still holding out for him to be the one of help facilitate the elimination of Riya. Alec - That little recognition of "Am I the baddy" could lead to some interesting developments meaning I'm confident he sticking around plus he deserves the win for actually trying! Conner - Biggest Face in the game, and sometimes you have to give in to the Danial Bryan win at wrestlemania. Translation for non wrestling fans giving the big win to someone we all want to win.
