BLOOM- she just started drifting to sleep when she heard light tapping on her window. Opening her eyes she saw you signing for her to open the window. When you slid in you laughed at her surprised look. "What are you doing here?" She had asked, but you just smile and kiss her.

Bloom will be nervous at first, but than she'll ease up and will drag you to her bed to talk, not risking anything else to not wake up Aisha.

AISHA- she was doing her homework, quietly to not wake up Bloom who was already sleeping when she noticed you waving outside the window. She instantly started worrying as she thought something happened. She opened the window letting you in "did something happen? Are you ok?"

Reassuring her everything is fine and you just wanted to see her, she'll tell you how irresponsible you are and try to shoo you away. You will eventually surrender and leave, but not before teasing her and kissing her goodbye.

STELLA- she was getting ready to sleep when she heard a tapping on the window. Turning her head towards it she saw you waving at her. She smirks, going to the window and letting you in. "Hey handsome" she said and kisses you deeply, feeling your hands wrap around her waist.

She has no problem with it and is happy you came. She'll invite you to bed, sitting on top of you. You'll have to be quiet, no matter what you do, but you do have your privacy as the other girls all sleep in other bedrooms.

MUSA- she already sensed you coming up, so she opened the window and sat back down on her bed, taking her headphones off. You slid to the room and saw her smiling at you. "Hey" you said and hurried to jump on her taking her head in your hands and kissing her. "Hey yourself" she said drawing you closer to her.

She likes this hour of night, when everyone is asleep and she has her peace and quiet. But sometimes it gets lonely, and she enjoys your company, laying together, making out, and other stuff.

RIVEN- most of the time he's snicking to you, but this time you were the one climbing through his window. You texted him to open it a few minutes before, and now he was laying in his stomach facing the other side, smoking a joint (sky was finally somewhere else, so he could smoke in peace). You went up to the bed climbing up, and squishing him with your whole weight. "Ugh Jesus" he complained while you held his wrist and took a puff, kissing his neck in the process.

You'll joke around and smoke for a bit, deciding to have fun a little bit, starting with shotguns and kissing, and than continuing your activities.

SKY- opening the window he harshly whisper asked you what are you doing here. When you told him you wanted to hang he said "wait for me outside". Pulling his shoes on he hurried down to you and took you by the hand to a less visible place.

He likes sticking out with you but worries that someone will see you coming to his room, so you just go outside to a more private place and hang there, when he is visibly more relaxed.

BEATRIX- she was reading a spells book when she saw you gesturing for her to open the window. She put the book aside and opened the window. Smirking, she didn't let you in yet "did you want something?" She asked. "Come on let me in" you pleaded. When you were both inside you hoped on her bed, lying on your back with your hands behind your head. She claimed on top of you and started kissing you.

She loves when you snick inside her dorm and distract her, making her worries go away and just have fun.

SILVA- he was working on taking his gear off when he saw you climbing up to his window. With a shocked expression he opened the window and helped you gat inside. "What the hell are you doing here?" He asked stunned "just want to hang with you" you said sweetly and came up to him wrapping your hands around him kissing him deeply. "And what you just decided to climb up my window and ignore the door?" He said amused between kisses. "I didn't want Farah or Ben seeing me, it's only my second year teaching here and as far as I remember they didn't like me very much as a student"

You continued making out eventually getting to bed to do more than just kissing.

DANE- he gaped in surprise when he saw you at his window. Letting you in he quietly closed his door not to wake up his roommate. "Hey-" he didn't finish his sentence as you grabbed his face kissing him. "Hey" you said when you parted from him. He smiled and grabbed your waist, telling you it is a pleasant surprise while you were dragging him to his bed.

You didn't snick up to his room often, but when you did he enjoyed every moment. Sometimes you just sat together rumbling about random stuff, and sometimes you did more. It really depends on both of your moods.

"...Congratulations?" Sky looks like he's struggling to wrap his mind around the scene he's just witnessed. Riven can almost see all the judgment he's very carefully keeping from sipping into his words, because Sky is in no position to pick a fight with him right now. It makes him snort.

"Sky?"

"Wow. Now that's what I call a nice view." Y/N grinned as he entered the specialists' locker room. The male locker room Various specialists were in different states of undressing and dressing. Some were fully clothed, having just showered, and ready to return to their dorm rooms. Others were naked, half-naked, or in the process of becoming naked.

Y/N made his way further into the locker room as it smelled like sweat and guys. Some of the guys were whispering to each other about why a fairy was here. To the far left, Y/N saw Riven talking to Dane and Luke. Both Riven and Dane had fluffy white towels around their waists. Luke, on the other hand, was naked, and his frontal package was in full view.

Riven saw him looking at them and smiled as he winked with a laugh. Dane and Luke turned around and chuckled as well when they saw him ogling them. But the real prize came out of the steaming showers as the golden boy, Sky, walked out of the showers in nothing but a blue jockstrap. probably specialist issued. It outlined his cock perfectly and made it look big and tight, as it matches the color of Sky's eyes. When he saw Y/N, the specialist put a hand over his junk and blushed.

Riven, Dane, and Luke chuckled as Sky blushed. "Y/N? What are you doing in here?"

The ice fairy smiled as he got closer to the blonde specialist. "The new headmistress asked me to bring these files to Silva." He held up the files for emphasis as he walked around Sky and examined his almost naked frame. Specifically, his plum white ass in those tight straps hugging his bum "I thought I'd take a shortcut through bare-man's land." He indicated this to all the half-naked and naked specialists.

Sky flushed again as he tried to compose himself. "Right. So, I assume you'll want to get there? Bye." He tried to walk away, but suddenly he gasped as he felt like someone was touching his cock through his pouch and felt like fingers were in his asshole. thoughts on riven (fate)?

I hate him.

(Disclaimer, I'll be answering this with consideration for the source material, not my own headcanons about Riven)

The thing is with a different direction he might have done wellish. For the aesthetic part of it he does have that angular, somewhat foxy face that I think fits Riven well. But getting rid of his haircolor is a crime. Also his hair should be messier. I don't think his cartoon style would work in live action and I also don't think simple spikes would work, that's very hedgehog vibe and his cartoon vibe is not that. His hair should have just been dyed and made voluminous and messy or he should have gotten the appropriate wig.

Now the writing. First of all, without Brandon and Tommy the whole balance is off. Combining Riven and Brandon in a Substance like monstrosity (RIP ElisaSue) and dousing it in homophobia and making it an apprentice sex predator is not it.

But let's go bit by bit, first: the brandon/riven combo. It doesn't work. Riven and Sky were barely friends in season 1. Riven had huge beef with him and Sky gave back in kind. In Fate Riven acts like an insecure younger brother mad that Sky is better than him in a really whiny way. Riven hated that Sky is better than him (or considered better) in OG and he was ANGRY about it. He met that guy and for some reason got competitive real quick. Instead of exploring why that is, they just made them close as brothers, and then Riven has his meltdown (was it even a meltdown? The conflicts in Fate are so weak (unless, ofc, we're directing a white actress to call a black girl a rat in disgust, THAT got to be intense) like Sky bitches to him about Beatrix (my blood pressure rises just thinking about it) Riven goes "whaaah, I'm just a guy you look down on!" and then they're cool next season as if nothing happened.

Now there's also a badassery level missing. Now in the show boys very rarely get to actually be badass bc the girls outshine them, yes. However, one thing about Riven is that the motherfucker is durable. Cartoon Riven would NEVER fold just bc Flora mildly plant choked him and he would rather eat glass than run away with his tail between his legs.

Now to the homophobia/sex predator part. 1) The way he cornered Dane at first was creepy as fuck. The way Dane then reached out none the less is not that unrealistic sadly, but wasn't addressed at all. Riven's lack of boundaries itself was not only not addressed at all later on but it also disappeared. It's inconsistent writing. Now I don't mind Riven being biphobic even though he is clearly bi himself. Like sure a self hating queer isn't an original trope but meh you could shoehorn it ig (the self hate part, not the queer part, I'm not annoyed at that). BUT my problem isn't a homophobic character, it's homophobic writing. I have a separate post for that ( https://www.tumblr.com/redfountainpostin/763521760187580416/beyond-racism-one-of-my-most-hated-aspects-of?source=share) but short version is that making villains (sorry excuse for villains, what did Bea even do? BLOOM released the big bad) the sexually "lascivious" ones is TIRED and I'm TIRED of softcore preporn of characters that are 16 and 17.

THAT brings me to my next point: Riven is made to look like he's a girl crazy sex crazed teen. He's not. I know several fanfiction authors gave him and Darcy a sexual relationship that's very intense and I respect that- just like I hope to do with my own headcanons, they work off of canon, exaggate themes, push them in desired directions and they make it WORK. However none of them make sex the ONLY think Darven has and Fate makes that mistake. Canon Riven is not girl crazy and no matter the dub you never get the idea he's thirsty for Darcy. He's in LOVE. Puppy love, if you will. Could sex be added in the live action version? Sure! But OVERDO it and fail on the love part and you ruined Darven. Speaking of which, are Riven and Bea even together in season 2? I swear to God I don't remember scenes of them together?

One thing I disliked as well was how crude and vulgar he was. However, that's something that could have been a plot point. I recently made a post about Riven's drinking habits (https://www.tumblr.com/redfountainpostin/766437598221697024/riven-actually-drank-quite-a-lot-for-awhile-im?source=share) and was considering merits of him having had a nasty vocal when he first came to Red Fountain. Why? Bc one of the more popular theories about Riven was that he spent his childhood on his own, homeless, on the streets. That IS breeding ground for bad habits. And those are ugly. From that environment you don't just get a tragic backstory, you get some UGLY traits that make people in general want to avoid you. Riven having those and slowly healing out of them would be GREAT. (having Brandon and some others, even Sky, be there for him and offer him friendship before he's officially "deserving" or even ready to fully accept it would also be lovely and speak loads about their own character) But we never really see that. He's a bit less of a prick by the end of season 2 I think (I never finished it) but not bc of any on screen growth.

Overall, Fate Riven is a sad, sad disappointment. He should have been the CARRIER of angst and edgy there. When Straffi promised us darker and grittier Winx, I was like FUCK YES, Riven angst here we go. And what did I get? Fuck all. Mellow not villain just ass, and fuck all of it.

The least problem is limited Rivusa time but honestly even that is fucked by the fact she got a nice boyfriend already. Let Musa pine, damn it. She needs heartbreak for her art.

Saul silva x reader - in the eyes of a god

Part 1:

Gods were to be prayed to when a human wanted something, some gods got more prayers than others, some didn’t get any prayers at all.

You were the kind of god that never received any prayers, a long forgotten god, lost to the centuries.

Like everything, when the new rise the old fall not long after, and the same happened with gods, as things change, traditions, practices, needs, the new gods arise to fit these in ways old gods wouldn’t.

You had grown used to your isolation, you were never one to relinquish in the prayers of humans, you never got the whole excitement about it.

You spent most of your time in your shrine, hiding away from humanity and whatever it was doing.

It why you noticed straight away when your shrine was disturbed, and you sat up from where you had been laid.

Jumping to your feet, you walked over to the top of your shrine, hands stuffed into your pockets as you leant over to have a look at what appeared to be some teenagers trying to climb up it.

“Riven! Dane! This isn’t the place to be messing around!” Another teenager snapped.

They stopped, jumping back down, and they raised their hands, backing away from your shrine.

“Come on, it’s funny.”

“Yeah, but remember what they told us. We can’t be messing with things out here.”

“You seriously can’t believe that crap. It’s all fake.”

The other teenager shrugged a little, gesturing straight away.

“Come on, Silva set the meeting point up there.”

“Whatever man.”

One of them out a cigarette out on the bottom of your shrine, and you frowned, furrowing your brows a little bit.

Bring pointing at the boy, you watched as a bolt of lightening hit the ground next to him and you smirked as you watched him jump.

“That’s what you get!” The other boy laughed.

The blond one that was trying to get them to leave sighed, walking away from them both.

The one who had disrespected your shrine looked at it, then to the grey skies, then back to to his friends before leaving.

You made your way back to where you were laying, and you laid back down to go back to staring up at the cloudy skies.

You didn’t know what they were doing nearby, and you didn’t really care too much about it it either, as long as they left you and your shrine alone.

Your hopes were quickly diminished though when you sensed somebody else on your statue.

“Seriously? What the fuck?” You grumbled.

In hundreds of years you had never had so much activity, and it made you curious so you got up once more.

Making your way back over, you leant over the edge to see somebody tying something around part of your shrine.

“How disrespectful.”

Lightening hit where you were stood, and it flashed at the bottom of the shrine, and that’s where you looked at the man.

You titled your head a little bit, carefully walking around him, standing with your back against the side of the shrine.

“It’s disrespectful to defile a shrine you know.”

You heard the sound of a sword being drawn.

“I should kill you, I could.”

You placed your hands on the branches at the bottom of the shrine, and you ripped them away, then jumped up to the first floor of the shrine, standing there.

You watched as the man read the words engraved on the bottom of your shrine.

“This isn’t a game, come out now.” He barked.

“I don’t think you’re in any place to tell me what to do, I could crush you under my foot like a bug.”

Lightening rained all around, the man was having a hard time trying to dodge it all.

You weren’t really aiming for him, if you were then he would’ve never stood a chance, at this point you were just toying with him, watching as he danced around trying to avoid them.

You made your way back down, hiding in the shadows as you took the ribbon he had tied around the shrine and you dropped it to the ground, jumping back up to the first floor.

Finally you stopped your attacks on him, and you rested your back against the pillar, tilting your head down to look at him.

“I’d be more careful where you train. Some of us sing take kindly to people defacing our shrines.”

He looked around, clearly trying to find you and you smirked even more.

He couldn’t fight with something he couldn’t see, and you knew that as clear as day, so he picked up the ribbon and he slowly walked back the way he had come from.

That was the last time you saw them for over a week, but eventually they did come back, and they seemed to be trying to test your patience.

You didn’t bother interacting this time, maybe that’s what they wanted, but you did notice when something went missing from your shrine.

You wanted the object back, and since it belonged to you it was easy enough to trace it back to Alfea.

The dammed school that had been built right in the middle of your own land.

Standing on top of your school, you looked around for the object and you sensed it just below you so you looked down to find one of the same students from the week before.

“Now stealing just won’t do!” You called.

All the students and their teacher looked up, drawing their weapons.

You grinned brightly, holding your arms open as you let yourself fall forward.

You flipped through the air, landing on your feet sending dust straight into their eyes.

Rushing forward, you grabbed the weapon from the student who had stolen it, and you swept his feet from under him.

You carried on taking the students out one by one as they tried to fight back through all the dust.

You finally snuck up on the teacher, and he spun around, aiming his sword at you.

Bending backwards you ducked under the blade, and you let out a loud laugh, spinning around to avoid his elbow as he brought it down.

Turning around him, you pressed your back against his, mimicking his movements then jumped over him as he tried to attack you from behind.

You stood in front of him as the dust settled down, and you blocked his attacks with the palms of your hands.

“Who are you?!” He snapped.

“Well, what would be the fun in telling you that? Your student stole from me and I came to get back what was mine. However I found something more interesting.”

You ducked, missing the blade of a sword behind you by just an inch, and you placed your hands on the ground, kicking you legs out into the student behind you.

Turning to the man, you put your hands on the ground again, using your shin to block his attack, and you grabbed his ankle, pulling him to the ground.

Taking his sword you jumped backwards a few times and held it in victory, grinning for ear to ear.

“Now that was fun! We should really do it again.”

He pushed himself up, ordering his students away and they all backed away.

You studied his sword, then walked over, holding the hilt out to him.

“Good fight, you’re strong.”

He took it and swung it again, and you held your arm out to block the attack.

That’s when he realised that you were wearing wrist braces, that’s why you had no problem being so reckless when defending him.

You grinned a little more, placing one hand behind your back, and one over your heart as you gave him a mock bow.

“(Y/N), at your service.”

You stood up, stuffing your hands into the pockets of your trousers.

He noticed how old your clothes looked, and almost how regal they looked as well, definitely not a common material.

There was an insignia on your brace which caught his eye, and he narrowed his eyes at you.

You weren’t dressed like someone from the area, or even from that time.

You wore parachute pants that ended just above your ankles, you were barefoot but didn’t seem to care, then when it came to your top you were wearing what looked like a silk tunic which was secured by a belt around your waist which held the sword you had taken back.

Around your shoulders a gold cloak, along with some jewellery he couldn’t quiet see.

But there was a certain familiarity about you as well, not just the way you looked, but your face, and your insignia.

“What do you want?” He snapped.

“Well, like I said. Your student stole from me, but you seem more interesting. I like how you fight.”

“Then fight me properly.”

“Now that’s no fun, you wouldn’t stand a chance.”

“Why’s that?”

You wore an almost insane grin on your face, and you spread your arms out.

“Oh! Where are my manners! I forgot to introduce myself properly!”

You titled your head up a little, looking down your nose at him.

“I am the god of war!”

Lightening crackled around your arms, and you gave him a wink.

“I’ll be seeing you around, maybe we can fight again.”

Before he could respond, you were gone in a flash of lightening, and he looked around.

When he was sure it was safe he ordered his students to line up.

“If you see them again you do not engage.”

“Silva you can’t be serious.”

“That is an order!” Saul barked back.

The students all nodded, and he sent them to the training ground, and he walked over to the scorch mark your lightening had left on the ground.

Something sent a shiver down his spine when you said you’d be seeing him around, because that was almost never a good thing.

His senses told him you hadn’t gone far, and he was right, you were stood back on the school roof, arms crossed over your chest as you studied him.

It had been a while since you had a good fight, and you loved the adrenaline you got from it, so you decided to stick around, since you had nothing else to do

Winx Club Rewrite: Season 4

I understand this is me being very late to the party, but that's pretty on-brand for me at this point lol

A few years ago, I started to work on a possible rewrite for Fate: The Winx Saga but it soon became this monstrous project of rewriting the entire franchise. Because while this series is one of my beloved childhood series, it is also very messy with its world-building and plotlines, as well being done dirty over and over again by its countless reboots. As much as I would have loved to create a full-on alternative universe like the ones I've seen on tumblr for years, it just took up so much of my time that could have been spent on other projects and it was starting to feel more like a chore than anything else. Eventually, I did create some fashion boards for how to translate their outfits from the show into real life, and wrote up some concept ideas for their live-action costumes, which led to me just writing up the notes I had for the rewrite to share them with y'all.

Some of these ideas were inspired by other people's rewrite of the series, some of these ideas came to me while writing this up, and a lot of these are my attempt to make sense of Winx Club's fucked-up lore. While these were originally written with a live-action reboot in mind, these could also work for an animated reboot targeted for teens/young adults.

This is probably the extent I'll do for any sort of Winx Club rewrite, but it was still fun!

-Roxanne "Roxy" Hensley is the last fairy on Earth, whose mother was an escapee of Tir Na Nog but had her wings ripped off by Grey's parents. A Native American girl who is fully into the scene culture, she is a rebellious loner who has a better time connecting with animals than with people, which is a result of her mother dying when she was still young. She is quite close with her father, who runs an animal shelter right next to Gardenia's main beach. When meeting the Winx Club, she refuses to believe magic is real but after seeing the girls trying to defend her from the Hunters, she ends up getting her own wings when trying to help out. After Morgana's death, the Hunters try to manipulate her into joining their ranks and even use the Black Circle to corrupt her fairy form, but she goes on a vengeful rampage instead, killing two of the Hunters before Bloom is able is calm her down. Once she comes back to her senses, she is allowed to keep the White Circle to remember Morgana, but the High Ladies let her keep the Black Circle as she understands the extent of its true power. She is a short lesbian with maroon-brown hair done in a wolf cut and grey eyes (which turn green when transformed), and she has a service dog named Artu.

-The Hunters consist of Grey, Dane, Sebastian (Fate!Sky), and Roman (Fate!Riven). The last members of a cult which tried to destroy all magic on Earth, but unlike their ancestors, they wish to control humanity using alchemy. Grey is the leader, with the power over water but he focuses on blood magic, whether it's using his own to heal himself to take control of someone's body using their blood. Sebastian is the second-in-command, with the ability to control a destructive blue fire to burn anything in his path. Dane acts as the spy for the group, as his control over the air allows him to have super sensitive hearing, as well as the ability to create supersonic soundwaves, turn invisible, and move as quick as the wind. Finally, there is Roman, who has the power over the earth and acts as the muscles of the group, using his super strength combined with his preference of using rocks to create fatal punches.

-This season focuses on Bloom coming to terms with being aromantic-asexual. Her relationship with Sky was a result of being caught up in the fantasy of a fairy-tale romance (which she loves reading about), and she admits to Flora that a major reason she was unhappy in the relationship was because she was forcing herself to have romantic feelings.

-This season also focuses on Bloom still grieving over Sky's death. While she no longer loved him romantically, she still cared for him and even after they had broken things off for good, she saw the potential of their friendship being rebuilt. She blames herself for his death, believing he should have stayed in Eraklyon where he was safe, but with time and the support of her friends, she learns to accept his passing in a healthy manner. Later on, she uses her experience to help Roxy overcome her own grief with losing Morgana, which helps bring the younger girl back to her senses.

-Morgana is NOT Roxy's mother, though she does come to care for Roxy like a daughter and see her as a worthy heir to her throne. Though she is angry at humanity for their sins and being so eager to chase magic away, she does understand humans were being brainwashed by the Hunters and she took her people to Tir Na Nog for safety. Unlike the others, she chooses to leave the realm in order to defend the girls from the Hunters, turning her into a mentor figure despite the fact outside of her realm drains her magic. Sadly, in the end, she sacrifices herself to close a portal which threatened to kill her people.

-The Major Fairies are known as High Ladies, with each one being in charge of a different season. The High Ladies had their magic taken from them by the Hunters and trapped in a deep slumber in their own palaces, which is why Morgana needed help from the Winx Club. Diana (Fate!Aisha) is the High Lady of Spring, Sibylla (Fate!Flora) is the High Lady of Fall, Aurora (Fate!Stella) is the High Lady of Winter, and Hestia (Fate!Musa) is the High Lady of Summer. Unlike in the cartoon, the four do not have active roles besides their connection to the Hunters, helping the Winx in the final battle, and after Morgana's death, deciding to rule Tir Na Nog as a group.

-Nex returns, and his friendship with Musa continues to grow into something more, beginning when she asks him to do her shoulder tattoo. After finding out she is a fairy, Nex comes clean and reveals his own secret; his family has been cursed for centuries, with the males destined to become werewolves, but they have learned how to handle it and became protectors instead of mindless creatures. Despite her originally wanting to break the curse, Musa learns to accept it and after spending more time together, the two decide to start a relationship (especially since Musa feels ready to start looking for love again)

-The other love interests (Brandon, Timmy, Nabu, and Helia) do not appear in this season, as they all have graduated and went straight to working. Both Nabu and Brandon are preparing themselves for their roles as king consorts, Timmy decided to stay at Red Fountain to become its potential headmaster one day, and Helia has gone back to pursuing her art career, where she has started to teach at a school.

-Bloom works at a normal pet store, Stella works at a small clothing store, Flora works at Vanessa's flower shop, Tecna works at a video game store, Musa works at a bartender, and Aisha gets a job as a yoga studio

-Things which shall be excluded from this season: The band plotline (except maybe one episode where the Winx pretends to be a band to lure the Hunters, but Musa is the lead singer while Bloom plays guitar), Love & Pet store, the extra wings, the Ethereal Fairies, the Gifts of Destiny (Sophix is used as a design for Diana's followers, Lovix is used a design for Aurora's followers, & the Black Gift is used as inspiration for Roxy's corrupted form), and all the bad romance subplots (Mitzi starts off as a shallow mean girl before working with the Hunters, Jason Queen is just a potential manager who acts more like a paternal figure to Musa, and Nabu does not have to die for the sake of a bad plot)

-Enchantix is not useless against the Wizards, but due to Earth's odd magical system, the Hunters do have the advantage of being more unpredictable. Despite fairy forms not existing on Earth, Believix was created from Roxy's magical core interacting with the Winx's magic, but each girl still has to earn their form by having someone from Earth believe in magic. The form grows in strength when more people believe in the Winx Club, but it also grows when the girls believe in themselves, each other, and their own magic; unfortunately, Earth is the only realm in which the girls can use this form, as it would be useless in the Magical Dimension.

-Believix takes on a more traditional Japanese "magical girl"-inspired look, with the girls still having different styles but with uniformed pieces and different-colored hair. Bloom earned hers through Roxy, Musa earned hers though Nex, Tecna earned hers when helping a young genius named Naoki, Stella earned hers when helping a young girl named Terra, Flora earned hers through Macy, and Aisha earned hers when helping a young man named Matt.

-As an Earth fairy, Roxy would have been born in her "transformed" state (pointed ears, sharp teeth, pupil-less eyes, wings that grow with age, etc.) but due to her half-human status and being exposed to the Winx's magic, she does gain a fairy form. Her magic is connected to animals (making her the "Fairy of the Wild"), as she was born to a Spring Court Fairy. Unlike in the show, her design is closer to that of an Enchantix fairy.

-The beginning starts off with Bloom taking up a teaching job at Alfea while her friends are working hard towards their own dreams, as she feels suddenly directionless in her life. After almost three years, Bloom asks Faragonda why Earth is a forbidden place for magic and Faragonda explains that centuries ago, Earth was a magical place, but a cult of anti-magic users hunted down those with gifts. As a result, fairies hid themselves away in Tir Na Nog while witches and wizards hid themselves among the mortals, hoping for they could proudly show off their magic in public. That evening, as Bloom is doing an obstacle course with her class, a strange woman appears and Bloom defends her from four men known as the Hunters, leading to the woman revealing herself as Queen Morgana of the Earth Fairies… and she needs help finding the last fairy of Earth.

🔥sky + riven friendship

They're both horrible friends and we enable each other's delusions in this fandom.

Riven defenders will preach on and on about Sky not paying him any mind, in 1.03 and then later the fight in 1.05, but forget that Riven actively sabotages Sky's fun in 1.03, is dating a school bully YES, and then idk - sets his house on fire (2.02).

In turn Sky ignores Riven trying to reach out to him (1.03), acts like he's better than Riven (1.01 and 1.06), doesn't give much of a crap about Riven's breakup (2.03).

It's not to say the love isn't there, but we're kidding ourselves if we write them as anything less than incredibly complicated and with weird lines drawn to each other. Sky is fine with Riven setting his house on fire, but god forbid Riven makes a crass joke about his gf. You know, priorities.

What would you have liked Netflix to explore more with the show: life inside the castle?— as in day to day life or more emphasis on the classes— or life on the Otherworld?— as in world building, creatures, places...

What do you think is the biggest regret/misconception Musa and Riven have towards one another as their relationship (cruelly taken from us) develops?

You’re back!! And with such wonderful questions for me to get carried away over (foreshadowing).

1. Definitely would’ve loved to see more of the Otherworld! Like, Netflix literally had it in the name — a whole other world — and they chose to just give us the tiniest of glimpses into it?! Egregious. Literal robbery. There was a whole globe of places to explore.

Also, the possibilities for Flora (hehe) and fauna!! We got a really underwhelming jumble of plants and herbs for healing and combat, sure, but where’s the alchemy?! Are there lust or luck potions? Invisibility potions… can a light fairy just bottle that shit up and sell it to give a non-fairy 30 seconds of invisibility? Same for other fairies! Can I, a civilian, just go to a shop and buy a fireball? Or would this be more underground/black market stuff — bc not everyone can be fairies, right.

Also we only saw bad/evil creatures (+ the contents of Sky and Silva’s stable). But where are the mermaids?! Sirens, phoenixes, harpies.. can mice have antlers? Can gators have fur? Where’s our bestiary, I need to know.

2. Oooh there are so many fandom headcanons for this that I love. But one of the things (that maybe hasn’t been explored as much?) I feel would be a big wedge that drives tensions between them in the future is Musa throwing herself into being a specialist to avoid confronting her magic.

We know Netflix loved to add things and then never follow through on them and I think one of those would be not following up on Riven’s extremely strong reaction to Musa saying she wants to be a specialist. Like, he tried to drive that point home to her particularly brutally for someone who’s blasé about so many things (well, except the existence of mind fairies in general lol).

And sure, the quickest takeaway from that reaction was the ‘protective’ side of it, showing Musa that fighting is brutal and her safety is not something to play around with and that he might even fear for that safety…

But I do think there’s more than a bit of hurt pride and resentment in his reaction too. I think it showed how important being a specialist was to Riven. That it’s something he’s put so much work into, something that he truly excels at, and for her to just claim something he owns with his entire being as a last resort for being magic-less after a few days?? That’s insulting af. The fact that Dane didn’t see as big of a problem with it while Riven did also further drives that home.

So yeah, even though the end of s2 showed us what sparring could look like for those two (which is indeed delicious), I do think some of the resentment from that moment would bubble up for Riven the longer Musa continues to avoid her powers (no matter how talented she is).
