Here is mine and @gossipqueen2000's RBB!
Many say its better to be feared than loved, and Queen Luna bases her reign on that saying. To maintain order in her realm, every year she holds the Solarian Games, where 30 specialists and 30 fairies compete in a deadly tournament with only one winner. Sky volunteered with his goal clear in his mind: kill his opponents, win the game. But when a battered fire fairy is thrown in the cell next to him in between rounds he realizes not everything is what it seems.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Season 2 of Fate: The Winx Saga!
A little bit late as it's technically not the 16th anymore over here, but it's still the 16th somewhere right?
In celebration I made my first ever proper FTWS fanart that was not made for a fanfic but of my favorite S2 scene.
Please don't steal my art to claim as your own or use for anything without my permission (reblogs ofc appreciated)!
Rambling on about everything down below
My favorite scene of S2: The one in E6 - Poor Unfortunate Souls, where I first cried with Bloom as she dreams in stasis while Aisha tells everyone Bloom's never had a fairy mother to guide her like they did, then litterally punched the air and audibly said yesss because the moment I saw that hand I knew my favorite character had returned as I had hoped, followed by finding out she wasn't actually back and lastly proceeded to bawl my eyes out and shut off the tv to not resume watching the season for at least a whole week.
Why the heck is this my favorite scene if the following scenes hurt so much? Because it's emotional as heck (the dreaming of a fairy mother, Aisha talking of their mothers, and then Farah shows up with the tear-wipe and the smile!?), it's freaking pretty, it's the single best way they could save Bloom from stasis imo, it's an incredible way to slowly show that Farah was "back", the music is beautiful and I love that we at least got to see a little snippet of Farah in S2 even though they had to edit in Eve Best.
Notes on the art: Actually really freaking proud of this one. I was in a bit of a drawing slump but look at this!! Like holy shit I drew that? I drew that! No guides, not even the hand (I did use some rough selfdrawn guides for the RBB art)! Did I really make this?? How??? I blame hyperfixation.

Mending Midnights
She’d come back to a world she’d barely gotten a chance to get used to, the same world that spat in the face of her integrity and punished her sacrifice.
And she came back to him. A man who razed the world for almost a decade to get to her.
— A post-season 2 fic about healing and new beginnings.
For @skloomdumpster
Happy happy birthday, Jo!! xx

Difficulty breathing
Day 10 of @febuwhump with theme : “difficulty breathing”
Summary : Missing scene from Saul's escape
POV Bloom
Andreas, Riven and Dane have just left, but Aisha has advised us to wait a few more minutes, just in case they decide to turn back. Headmaster Silva still has enough oxygen in the bubble to last underwater and Musa is keeping a close eye on him so we can take action if needed. Each minute passes slowly as I stop myself from moving. I don't like standing still, especially when I know someone I know is suffering. I don't need to have Musa's power to know that with arrows in his back, the headmaster must be in pain.
I fidget a little but stop when I see the dark look on Aisha's face. I think they have been gone long enough for us to move. I'm about to say it but it's finally Musa who beats me to it and ends our long wait:
"We have to get him out, he's starting to have trouble breathing."
We exchange a brief look, then stand up as one before we all start running. The running doesn't stop Aisha from responding:
"Yet he still has enough oxygen in the bubble."
No one has time to wonder more as we get close to the shore. Terra stopped a little before, near a rock to take out the few things she brought. We expected the headmaster to be slightly injured from his time in prison, not shot with a bow. So I'm not sure if she has what it takes to treat him. But anyway, we need to get him out of the water first, there will be no need to heal him if he dies from drowning.
Aisha dives into the water while Musa and I wait nervously by the side. I try to see where they are but the water is too rough and not clear enough for me to make out anything. I breathe a sigh of relief when Aisha finally breaks through the water, all the while helping the headmaster stay afloat. I hear him cough, which is a pretty good sign, right? It means he's still breathing.
I take a few steps into the river to help Aisha and headmaster Silva. The second I reach them, I grab the specialist's arm to put it over my shoulders and support some of his weight. I try not to look at the arrows sticking out of his back, or listen to his harsh, ragged breathing. With each step we take, he leans a little more against us. He tries to hold back his moans of pain, but he can't quite manage it. I can't really blame him, he just got out of jail, then got shot before jumping off a cliff and spending about ten minutes in cold water. I don't expect him to be in great shape after all that.
We finally get out of the water, not without difficulty, and Terra signals us:
"Bring him here, we have to lay him on his belly so that I can remove the arrows."
We advance as best we can. The headmaster tries to walk but he doesn't quite succeed, his gestures are not coordinated. And although he seems to have lost weight, he is still heavier than Aisha or me. Nevertheless, we manage to bring him to the flat place designated by Terra. I can hear him talking in a low voice with Musa:
"I am not surprised Musa. Aunt Farah has put up mental barriers to Dad and Uncle Saul. Now that I've met Rosalind, I understand why..."
"Yes, but I can't take her pain with that barrier and I don't want to try to break it either. I'll do more harm than good."
Clearly, I'm not the only one who heard the discussion because headmaster Silva responds with difficulty:
"It's going... to be okay... girls... No need... for... that..."
Terra helps us lay her down as she speaks to her:
"Shh, don't talk Uncle Saul. One of the arrows must have punctured one of your lungs. I'll take care of it, you just need to concentrate on your breathing."
It always feels so weird when I remember that Terra, Sam and Sky grew up together and with headmistress Dowling, headmaster Silva and Professor Harvey. It reminds me that our teachers have lives too and that they are not just teachers. It makes them more human. Also, if the specialist is Sky's father, that means he might become my stepfather. It's strange to think about that. I don't really have time to think about it much more because Terra asks us:
"Hold his shoulders. I'm going to have to pull the arrows out and we don't want him to move."
We do as she asks and I can feel headmaster Silva extremely tense. His eyes are closed, his fists clenched, and he bites his lip as Terra quickly does her work. Despite this, soft moans pass the barrier of his lips. I can only imagine how he must feel as the foreign body is forcibly removed from his body and we have nothing to ease the pain. Musa moved away from us, certainly because she could not stand the pain of the headmaster. She can't seem to take the pain away from him, but she can feel it very well.
Although the arrows are now removed, I know it's not over. Terra still has to treat the internal and external injuries and I hear it's quite painful, although I'm lucky enough not to have had that treatment yet. I don't really know what I can do to help the headmaster through this. I can't see myself comforting him by stroking his hair or anything like that. I don't think he would appreciate it in the least. It is finally himself who answers my problem by asking:
"How...is...Sky?"
So I start chatting, telling him how Sky is doing and what happened while he was away. Talking this I know how to do very well and if it helps him get through the pain by giving him something to focus on, then so much the better.

It’s so interesting how this is a perfect example of two people who give and receive love in completely different ways. When you think about the start of season 2 and how Aisha is probably still smarting over all this while Bloom (and the rest of the suite) have started to treat her more like a guardian or authority figure rather than a friend or confidante — exactly the opposite of the loving friendship she’s trying so hard to achieve. The way they interact with her is sorted into one of two buckets: either what they tell her is watered down or withheld so she doesn’t have a chance to protest in the first place, or, in Bloom’s case, they designate Aisha as the ‘permission’ or stamp of approval they need to carry out a plan. (“I can’t be your moral compass, Bloom”).
Not only is that a massive weight on her, it definitely plays into her uncertainty where Grey is concerned. Is this another person who will place more weight than the girls (and Aisha herself) have already piled onto her shoulders?
Meanwhile, from Bloom’s perspective, it’s the highest form of love and trust she can offer anyone. Part of being as special as she is, is that she’s alone in her experience and in her journey. Only she can be the Dragon Flame, after all. So to Bloom, this sharing (or over sharing) in decisions and actions is a way to show Aisha that she is valued and loved. That Aisha was right in season 1 and Bloom wants to show her that she won’t doubting her again, that her opinion and her thoughts mean something.
I'm rotating Aisha in my head like a fork in a microwave.
I just keep going back to the fact she was so desperate for Bloom to like her from the get go. She came in Alfea with a mission, to befriend people, to be her best self and you can tell how much she commits to it in season 1. She's offering Bloom help and sympathetic hearing within hours of knowing her. She's realistic and a little cynical but fiercely protective of Bloom. She's jealous of Bloom hanging out with Stella (as pointed out by Musa). She's flunking some classes because Bloom's manic state is messing up her schedule and yet she doesn't complain once. Not even about Bloom taking calls from her parents in the middle of the night. She's pouring herself out, specifically to Bloom, only to have them all turn on her when she says releasing a locked up headmistress is not the best idea.
Anyway, thinking about Aisha in season 2 saying she's not ready to fall for Grey, because what if she gets her heart broken? And I'm thinking she already did have her heart broken, we saw it.

Remnant Of Guidance - FTWS Server Challenge: F*ck Canon - Fix It
Shoutout to @myalchod for fixing my grammar mistakes and lacking vocabulary <3.
When Bloom confronts Rosalind about killing Farah, she doesn’t realize her new headmistress can overpower her in an instant. Luckily help is closer by than she knows.
"What on earth…" the older fairy mumbled, as she stared right back, her eyes widening with a mixture of shock and awe. Bloom's eyes were glowing, the right one a blazing orange, and the left a luminous white.
