Watched Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 Today and...

SPOILERS obviously so here's the cut....

The character designs.... The single flyaway strands on the blondes in the show, lol.

Erzabet was a bit one note... I wish they'd pulled from the legend a bit more in building her character.

Drolta's backstory I liked it, but ehh, it could have been more imaginative IMO...Also love all the looks, The Black cosplay girlies have a lot of new material

I love seeing a whipped man and Ritcher that is you... I just KNOW he was getting off on being the ice to her fire and that fact that he's "marked" by her now... I just know it!!

Annette and her ancestry and actually taking the time to distinguish between various cultures and using a system and gods based on the reality of that.... IN ALL THE YEARS OF ALL THE CLASSIC EURO FOLKTALES..... FINALLY!!!! Not everything has to be medieval or viking or renaissance or victorian or.... Yes African nations have magic and fantasy too dammit!!

I WISH Alucard had specifically mentioned Greta, but alas... I'll take those crumbs and make a Gretacard cookie out of them Those fights scenes made me giggle... The nods to classic anime tropes and classic Castlevania gaming tropes I legit was like that chef from Ratatouille who went back to his childhood. LOVED Annette's magical girl transformation. They didn't do enough with some of the threads IMO...Marie and Tera for one. It's normal for a person to blush at Alucard, especially a young person... yall are both weird and expected *smh* suddenly making something out of that. And not enough of that Orlox/Mizrak ship... I miss the kinkiness of the early seasons of Castlevania.... Whatchu mean no threesome or femme dom or even just people in love getting down, except for half a second of Mizrak booty?! It moved fast TOO FAST IMO. It's made for smartphone attention spans... But I wish we could savor it some. Stretch out the meaningful emotional bits and the scenery and just give it time to breathe... Otherwise it was decent. It gave what it says on the tin. I also see and side eye the expected gifsets leaving out Annette and Drolta.😏

Imma be honest with you guys, at the beginning I didn't like the new series of Scott Pilgrim, I literally spent all episode 2 ranting about how the story didn't go like that to my mom (I'm not really into changes, specially of things I've known for years), but I decided to power through.

Turns out it was simply amazing! The animations, the new angle of the story, the stories behind the exes, it was wonderful. By the end of episode 3 I was already over the change and was just excited to see what will happen next.

I loved that we could finally see the other side of the evil exes. Ramona did say some of them weren't evil at the time she dated them, but turned to the dark side after her. It was interesting seeing how having Ramona in their lives changed some of them.

I have to give it to the producers, they made a great move with the sneak peeks, making us all belive it was going to be about Scott and then going like BOOM! IT'S NOT! Like, real good move, I totally didn't see it coming.

BTW, we should have seen it coming, I mean, the title is "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off"

So, you know how tinky's whole thing is time travel and he says he wants the full set of Spankoffski brothers? - What if Pizza Pete... is actually Pete Spankoffski? Like, Tinky transports Pete to before the time split and like Ted, he's homeless at first, but he's a lot more resourceful than Ted and he sets up this tiny pizza business that eventually grows into Pizza Pete's. He builds a life for himself and he makes decent money - he's not happy though. He'll never be with Steph.

Imagine modern day Pete and Steph going to Pizza Pete's on a date and Steph decides they have to leave because the manager won't stop staring at her, but she doesn't realise it's because she was his best friend once - and she's still the thing he treasures above all else.
