After the King left the Ravens, it was to surprise of no one but Kevin Day, that it was not him, but King's pet lion, who overtook care of the team. Nathaniel, with his small body and big presence, kept the Ravens in line with sharp edge of his claws, just like the King used to. In a way, not much had changed on the team, especially after the new captain grew out his hair - partially as homage to his King, partially to match the pet name that crawled out of their bedroom, and became his call name on the court, after Riko let it slip in one of interviews calling Nathaniel "Lion".

What if Andrew wasn't fast enough?

What if Neil died the same way Drake did?

I know there won't be legal action, maybe Ichirou would've killed Riko anyway but what if he didn't?

Like it would've been televised for sure, maybe in the backround of one of the Foxes interviews, blurry 2007 cameras that didn't catch all the detail. But there was people still leaving the court, maybe some of them would've seen it happen and everyone else would definitly see the aftermath.

Andrew's world would cese to exist. His rage unmatched. But do you think he would've had the strength to bash Riko's skull too? Or maybe he would collapse next to Neil barking for Abby to come, trying to held on to the hope she can do something.

@yes-i-exist-shutup is main representative of NEKO i don't have much opinions on them i don't think neil and riko are good match (for me) when it comes to shipping simply because they both have the same feral animal bat shit insane energy and i can not conceptualize story or setting where neil and riko coexist where they do not end up tearing each other throats out in fight for who stays on top riko is my boy i need him to be best prettiest most loved and not disputed , shipping him with neil forces me out of my comfort zone because loving that feral squirrel would be humiliating degrading and force him to growth he is not really that capable of way too soon i for sure think neil/nathaniel would never submit to riko, he woudl give him just enough space to feel comfortable or even in control but truly they both know neil is the one holding the leash neil would rather die that submit to him not because he is prideful or whatever he is just stubborn and spiteful enough to not give him satisfaction, riko's only choice would eb to kill him but if we ship them then clearly neil's death would not be in riko's best business and so he would have to resign and let neil pull his strings hold his leash there is no balance here this is for people whoa re here for whump and fucked up shit , and those are things i sign up only with promise of aftercare BUT I ADORE version of the ship where they end up having lil crush on themselves back when nathaniel visits nest way before events of aftg, i think this would work much better at least in my opinion , riko needs to be just a bit less broken. fave headcannon: neil loves leaving scars on riko's body because he is insecure about scars on own body, riko's body over years end sup covered in burns cuts and many other marks left here by his beloved little lion. also i don't really sub to idea of nathaniel and neil being different people its just different name tomato tomato i get the symbolism but this is not tokyo ghoul
