We already knew Bannon was a Nazi. His Seig Heils (Plural) were applauded at CPAC.
Republican Jews are insane, stupid, or both.
youtube
The ADL did not respond late Thursday to an inquiry about Bannon鈥檚 gesture.
Jonathan Greenblatt should loudly condemn this or immediately resign so that someone with a brain and a spine can do so.

Thoughts on the incident in Florida where a Jewish man shot at two men 17 times and bragged to the cops that he just "killed two Palestinians". Only for it to turn out the victims were actually a father and son visiting from Israel. The two then reported the shooting to the cops as an antisemitic attack before making a facebook post saying "Death to Arabs"?
Can't have thoughts on events that didn't happen
he did not try to kill them because they were palestinean he tried to kill them because they were visibly Jewish, he knew whom he targeted
now go back to your chan board to talk about the evil jews running the tumblrs dismmising your "theories"

And in both structures Jews are still left on the outside and without protections.
This is why I have said that the Left and the Right use the same exact tools when it comes to antisemitism, but what they create with those tools looks different which is why right wing antisemitism and leftist antisemitism manifest and present differently.
But at the end of the day they using the same tools, the same methodology, the same deeply rooted systemic antisemitism.
And while the Right has often been open and forward with their antisemitism while the Left has tended to be cloaked the Left has really being shedding any pretense of that cloak and being just open and forward as the Right with said antisemitism.
And the Right has just been getting bolder and bolder with their openness and blatant out right antisemitism.
Which again is why antisemitism is the magnet that pulls the two ends into the horseshoe.
Back during the first Trump years, there was an incredibly well-written article in The Atlantic regarding the egregious cruelty of the MAGA movement and Trump, titled, "The Cruelty Is The Point". The article made the extremely pointed note that bonding over being monstrous to other people is a part of human behavior, especially group-bonding behavior.
The artifacts that persist in my memory, the way a bright flash does when you close your eyes, are the photographs of lynchings. But it鈥檚 not the burned, mutilated bodies that stick with me. It鈥檚 the faces of the white men in the crowd. There鈥檚 the photo of the lynching of Thomas Shipp and Abram Smith in Indiana in 1930, in which a white man can be seen grinning at the camera as he tenderly holds the hand of his wife or girlfriend. There鈥檚 the undated photo from Duluth, Minnesota, in which grinning white men stand next to the mutilated, half-naked bodies of two men lashed to a post in the street鈥攐ne of the white men is straining to get into the picture, his smile cutting from ear to ear. There鈥檚 the photo of a crowd of white men huddled behind the smoldering corpse of a man burned to death; one of them is wearing a smart suit, a fedora hat, and a bright smile. Their names have mostly been lost to time. But these grinning men were someone鈥檚 brother, son, husband, father. They were human beings, people who took immense pleasure in the utter cruelty of torturing others to death鈥攁nd were so proud of doing so that they posed for photographs with their handiwork, jostling to ensure they caught the eye of the lens, so that the world would know they鈥檇 been there. Their cruelty made them feel good, it made them feel proud, it made them feel happy. And it made them feel closer to one another.
Taking joy in that suffering is more human than most would like to admit. Somewhere on the wide spectrum between adolescent teasing and the smiling white men in the lynching photographs are the Trump supporters whose community is built by rejoicing in the anguish of those they see as unlike them, who have found in their shared cruelty an answer to the loneliness and atomization of modern life.
And it's very true, and we've seen it again and again from the right-wing MAGA types.
But that's not the only place we see that sort of cruelty in the modern zeitgeist.
It's also blatantly visible in the "Pro-Palestine" movement on the Left towards Jews. Celebrating the deaths and torture of Jews, harassment, egregious acts of cruelty towards Jews just existing... Examples abound in daily life for any Jewish person who doesn't loudly tokenize themselves as one of "the good ones."
But why? Why has the Left, which claims to be for human rights, social equality, and minority support, gone so deeply into a pattern of behavior that's a mirror of the Right they claim to hate and detest?
That question, I feel, has its own answer.
Because they are mirroring the Right.
One wonderfully pithy comment about modern conservativism, by Frank Wilhoit, is "Conservativism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."
I personally believe that there are three propositions of Conservatism. The one above is the first, but the other two are that, "There are a finite number of legitimate ways to live your life," and "people exist to perpetuate and be consumed by the system."
And what has happened is that the Left, rather than come up with their own Left-wing propositions (say, for example, "Everyone should be equally bound by and protected by the law," "We must tolerate and encourage diversity of life experiences and outlooks", and "social systems exist to support human beings") they've merely taken the Conservative propositions and turned them on their heads. So if, in the USA, the Right says that White People are the In-group protected but not bound by law, and People of Color are the ones bound but not protected? Okay, then on the Left, it's the other way around. There's still an out-group and an in-group, just flipped. The basic structure hasn't changed. The same goes for the other propositions--if you're not part of their particular ideology, you're an enemy, and you exist to perpetuate their system if you're part of their ideology.
And because of that mirroring, we see the same behavior from the Left that we see on the Right.

When "I am a Nazi" and "Antisemitism is a Jewish Plot" Kanye West can air a superbowl ad (watched by 120 million Americans) for his website that has nothing at all on it except a T shirt with a swastika on it for sale for $20. And this is permitted by the network. And right wing gentiles think it is sooo funny. And leftist gentiles are calling it another Jewish False Flag Plot for some reason. Yeah I think it might be time to pack it up lol.

As horrible as it sounds this is one of the reasons why I find dealing antisemites from Right so much easier because at least with them they are open and honest to your face that they hate us.
Like I know what I'm getting with a neo-nazi, christofacist, white supremacist type.
It is upsetting, it is dangerous, it still hurts, but at least I know what I'm dealing with.
It is a very much what you see is what you get type of deal.
But antisemitism from Left that is something else. They do it after they became you friend. They burn you first. They grind salt in the wound you have from where they stabbed you in the back.
They put on a smile and act friendly so you don't when they will attack.
They are so much scarier and you just don't what you are going to get.
Because they are going to be using the same rhetoric as the antisemitism from the Right they are just going to put a diffrent hat on it so it looks a little bit diffrent.
They will use the same conspiracy theories, the same blood libel, the systems of oppression, the same violence, the same tools it just will be a diffrent color is all.
So I'd rather take an antisemite who is honest about being an antisemite every single time.

At this point, it's pretty clear that the MAGA movement and the Hamasnik movement (not going to call it "Pro-Palestine", because they're not) are both pretty much the same. One is Christofascist and White Supremacist, and the other is Islamofascist and Arab Supremacist, but other than those differences, they're more alike each other than they're different.
So I put this together out of some bitter humor.

The Western far left: The far right is antisemitic, so we clearly are not!
The Western far right: The far left is antisemitic, so we clearly are not!
North American Jews:
The only difference between you is that the far right pretends to care about Israelis and the far left pretends to care about equity and justice.
Neither movement supports critical thinking, truth, or honest consideration of good faith arguments from those with whom they disagree.
Members of both movements immediately discard any facts which injure the ego-saving narratives they tell themselves about themselves.
Both movements are allergic to nuance.
Neither movement is a friend to the Jewish people.

seriously don鈥檛 know how you do it. i鈥檝e been trying to document and archive the wide range of antisemitism in every space since october 7th and鈥 still get shocked at seeing shit like this. this is a screenshot of a leftist鈥檚 instagram story. i follow a lot of leftists in order to document the antisemitic shit they say every second and to keep up with the tropes circulating. this is just one small example.
i can鈥檛 imagine saying shit like this and thinking it鈥檚 normal. like the level of cruelty is something i can鈥檛 fathom.
Tell friendly neigborhood comrade that Lovely is a misogynist neo nazi who thinks women shouldn't vote and thinks babies were at the nova festival and not stolen from a bomb shelter, tell comrade not only did they agree with nonsense but they agreed with a known nazi and are not complicit in fucking nazism
that is how I cope by knowing that I deal with people morally bankrupt and unhinged by showing them who they really are like that mirror of clarity from Harlan Ellison stories

The Right hates me for being a filthy degenerate queer socialist Jew and the Left hates me for being a dirty Zionist Jew. At this point I don't care what anyone thinks about me. The extremists on both sides can go f**k themselves for all I care.

what is the difference between right and left antisemitism?
sorry, I'm the wrong person to send that ask to.
I'm an Israeli Jew, our right and left don't have antisemitism since it's made up of Jews, so I'm not as familiar with the different forms of antisemitism as diaspora Jews.
the only thing I can say is that right wing antisemites always assume I'm an SJW and that leftist antisemites think I'm a subhuman genocidal colonizer for being born in Israel. now take into account I don't interact with right-wing people online, the only ones I did meet were much more centrist than average, and on the other hand I interacted with a ton of leftists. I believe right wing antisemitism is way more stereotypical and easy to spot as utter nonsense.
right wing antisemitism is definitely worse than left wing, but left wing is like being stabbed in the back by your best friend. sure the right wingers have guns, but they're far and I already prepared a bulletproof vest because I saw it coming, I would never in a million years guess my leftist friends would stab me in the guts and spit on my face.
again, I'm Israeli, I can't tell you more than the little I've experienced online, you should ask diaspora blogs.
@spot-the-antisemitism @edenfenixblogs @etz-ashashiyot @prismatic-bell @spacelazarwolf and anyone else? sorry my memory is trash and I can't remember which jumblr blogs are diaspora jews.

Actual literal self identifying Nazis are being nominated for Grammys and attending awards ceremonies to absolutely 0 pushback or either celebrity or fan boycott, and people still have the audacity to pretend that Jews control the entertainment industry. Lol. Ok.
