still thinking how absolutely genius it was to have Alex spell out R-I-D-E-R in NATO alphabet to the morgue(?) he was calling at the start of the show. the way it comes so naturally to him; that's not something he's come across and learnt, that's something he's been trained to do and thinks is normal to know, it does SO MUCH for his characterization and Ian's characterization, which is, of course, who this scene is all about. A+ easily one of my favorite details in the script
