I was really into Rickenbackers when I was starting out, because of the 3/4 neck, but I don't play them as much anymore. And I had a [Fender] Duo Sonic 'cause I saw a picture of Patti Smith playing one.”

talking abt fictional guitars because i'm having fun. roxie's scolipede bass is like one of my favorite cartoon guitars ever. it's stylized and it looks bonkers but still identifiable + all the mechanical components are basically in the right places. also lefthanded !

the wear and tear on it is so well done, i love that there's scratch marks from her playing the guitar too hard

and oh man i LOVE that it has a version of the rickenbacker logo. it's hard to read but looks like it says "venom girl" ? "venom gym"?

honestly even her sprite art looks good
