Feel like Ted is the most outwardly hateful most douchebag of a guy but he's actually so supportive and loving of everyone

On the outside he's probably making fun of Ruth for being bi, or teases Richie for having dyed hair and pronouns, but he never actually says anything offensive, it's all harmless jokes that at worst makes them a little uncomfortable or sad and when he sees that (or Pete says something about it) he apologizes and makes a mental note not to joke about that thing

Like I just imagine him driving the trio around and he sees Richie on his phone and asks "Who you texting? Is it all your hoes?" Richie just shakes his head and says something like "No, some guy is fighting with me on Twitter about being trans. Hes such an idiot..." and Ted just gets so fucking pissed, and when they pull up to a stop light he snatches Richies phone, looks at the account and does a super quick stalking of the guy and says "He lives in fucking clivesdale. I'll drive over there and beat his fucking ass." and then drops the trio off, and immediately goes to beat this guys ass, does it, and then sends screenshots of the dickheads bullshit and sends it to his employer. Then next time he sees Richie he just tells him like "that guy won't bother you anymore. But you're not safe from me ya idiot" and like punches his shoulder a little too hard

Supportive douchebag Ted is my favorite thing. Also Richie is trans nobody can convince me otherwise

ted drives his loser brother and his loser friends around sometimes, and he’s sure that every time since the seventh grade that he’s seen richie lipschitz he’s has a different hair color. ted genuinely doesn’t know how once achieves that, he’s sees him at least once every two weeks or so. it boggles his mind.

When I played Duskwood for the first time, I've already seen a spoiler that Richy was the MWAF, and when I saw this moment, I was convinced that he just wanted to distract us from our investigation.

He was actually way meaner than I expected tbh. The glimpses I'd gotten of him through whatever fandom posts made it onto my dash in 2017 made me expect more of that "He's an asshole, but he's our asshole 💖" character type a la Richie Tozier (a perception not helped by knowing that the novel used almost that exact phrasing for him) , but Jared is genuinely such a jerk in his first few scenes that it took me a bit to click with him.

Yeah unfortunately I have a goober named Tegan Bailey, she’s the daughter of Officer Bailey and just as psychotic as him but like in a different way. She’s more lowkey psychotic and has little burst of crazy behavior. Detective Shapiro is like an Aunt giving her good advice while Officer Bailey... he's Officer Bailey.

Her best friend is Brooke and they have matching phone cases. In Sophomore year they spread the rumor about Travis Colson being poor after he wore a dirty shirt. And now whenever Tegan goes to work at the mall she see’s Travis and literally almost passes out.

She works at the Cinnabon and sucks at her job lowkey. Tegan makes the ‘I passed out six times but your cinnamon roll is ready’ joke which makes every single costumer really weirded out except like Ruth who thinks it’s hilarious. Her favorite costumer is Gerald cause he always tips a bunch, and who doesn't love Gerald.

Shes literally only friends with Brooke, Steph, Gabe, and Richie (poor guy has sit next to her in like 5 classes)

Anyways the lord in black she's connected to is Blinky, unlike the Woodwards Blinky LOVESSSSSSS the Baileys. I think he just like the last name because it sounds kind of like Blinky, but he follows Tegan around and gives her intrusive thoughts like

"go push his head into the water fountain"

"what? no! I'm not going to do that to bowtie boy. he's rich he could sue."

Minx Season 2 Episode 3!!! (Spoilers?)

Just don’t read this if you haven’t seen it yet.

I love how there’s a moment for everyone to subtly check in with how success is affecting them. The way Bambi goes around asking Richie showing how they are close.

I live the way Doug let’s his be known by confiding ranting to Tina.

Tina and Constance’s conversation doesn’t show how “success” is necessarily affecting Tina because I think her story is building up to something different. When Doug is ranting to her, he is also still treating her like a secretary and won’t hire another one and that’s .. that’s scary!

The last thing Tina wants is to go back to doing what she used to do! She wants to move forward and be valued for the work she’s putting in!

Bambi wants to do something real and important! No one asks her, or checks in with her, but she has no trouble letting people know on her own where she is and what she wants.

Joyce and the reporter thing was very nice, and important for her. She needed to figure those things ut but it happening through the lenses of a reporter wanting to talk to her and her avoiding them was very clever. In the end the reporter shed some insight to something she may or may not have known she needed insight on!

Idk why, but stuff like that really excites me! I just love how connected everything is and how everything is set up to explore the characters this way and you just get it!

And the only otherwise pathetic ones I can think of are not technically my favorites. Like, I can't answer anything from Richy Guitar to this because despite being pathetic, I don't have any kind of emotional connection to those characters??? It's just OTP reasons and that is obsessive and has nothing to do with being emotionally connected to anything. They are not favorites, not really.

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason) Surprise surprise, I don't have anyone for this one either, from any fandom XD I don't think even Richy Guitar counts in here, because it was them ruining their lives for themselves and I have nothing to do with those choices :D Otherwise I could answer to this with my own old OC comic book character whose main purpose was that I was "talking" to him and he hated himself and life but could not make any choices for himself because as an artist, I was in charge of his life choices. That's the closest to tormenting I can think of, but that's no fandom and I haven't drawn anything about him in over 10 years.

I TOLD I would be so boring because I just don't get attached to characters, I don't form emotional connection to them, and I just. Simply lack any of this type of faves that Tumblr is so obsessed with XD I have OTPs (2 or even 3 on a good day...) and the characters are just the side product of that... 7. initially i was gonna be like theres not anyone this applies to for me since the bear still has very little canon content and the current character cast is so small and tight knit i dont hate anyone in it and i cant imagine that ever changing but then i realized its carmy. obviously not to the extent of hating him but there still is resentment in my heart for him which may sound crazy because hes literally my url and very firmly shares the #1 spot with richie in my bear rankings but ive always had a love/hate relationship with his character and i cant lie the way he gets treated by the fandom especially in relation to richie makes me resent him a little just because people who like him are always either glossing over his flaws as a character purely because hes the protag of the series or theyre attracted to him, hating on richie and/or sydney in favor of supporting him, or romanticizing/sexualizing him so heavily that hes barely the same character that he is in canon. fandom is all for having fun and doing what you want but as someone immune to his looks carmy will always be an absolute loser and a sad bratty miserable pathetic wet dog of a man to me. i like him against my will and i would beat him like a pinata without hesitation
