blue and gansey’s perspectives of their first real interaction are so funny to me

blue leaves that interaction fuming, she can’t believe that someone would have that kind of audacity and lowers her expectations of aglionby boys even further - the bar was already on the floor but somehow the floor has started to sink

and gansey, poor gansey, leaves that convo mostly confused, he thinks about it a little more and then just starts obsessing over the interaction, bro cannot help himself but to overthink, he literally starts reprimanding himself about the exact words he chose and continues to talk about how he’s gonna be up all night thinking about his words and how she thinks of him

blue, who basically just got asked to be a prostitute: i can’t believe he’d have the gall to talk to me like that, what an aglionby asshole

gansey, who has never understood a social cue in his life: good thing i saved adam from her! … oh no i’m gonna overthink about this for the rest of the night :,(

One of my favorite blusey headcanons is that blue leads every single time they dance and even dips and lifts him and gansey is absolutely smitten

nothing will ever be as comedy golden as blue and gansey keeping their relationship an absolute top secret and only meeting up in the middle of the night and even then feeling guilty about it because they don't want to hurt adam, kavinsky being convinced that ronan and gansey are fucking all while actually adam and ronan are just out there falling in love, seriously not giving (romantically) two cents about blue and gansey

kay so my friend wrote a lil smth smth but she mostly posts aftg on her account and i asked if i could post it so here we are :)

gansey's extended family being a bunch of dicks (i couldn't help myself)

okay, so we know that gansey's parents are like, politicians or whatever 

so it's probably a family reunion to celebrate one of his mom's new bills or some shit 

gansey doesn't want to go (he was actually planning an entire chapter in his journal on adam, but shhh)

but if blue's going, it'll be a hell of a lot better

blue couldn't care one way or the other

but then his prick cousins (probably named fucking chauncey or some shit) start talking about blue's choice of clothing, her hair and all that 

of course, they all have ashley ™ girlfriends, all blonde and basic

and as previously stated, blue doesn't give two shits 

but richard gansey lll?

however 

he is best friends (with benefits, jkjk) with ronan lynch

so you KNOW he has some good ammo in that overdeveloped vocab of his

so he just lets LOOSE

also, the jumbo shrimp from the shrimp ring (bc what good party doesn't have a shrimp ring?) may have gone flying as well

the family is SHOOK

aunt rose (he probably has an aunt named rose) has already passed out due to hearing such language 

and blue is having the HARDEST time hiding her smile

of course she got it all on camera

and it's already in the groupchat 

ronan is celebrating like a madman, henry is laughing his head off, and adam has his head in his hands, done ™ with everything 

during the car ride home, gansey is trying not to let his embarrassment kill him as blue impersonates him the ENTIRE time

it's brought up at LEAST two times every time the gangsey hangs out after that 

i wouldn't be surprised if that clip plays at their wedding

and ronan/adam reference it heavily in their respective speeches 

bottom line?

gansey will NEVER live this down

So I saw a few of your posts about the raven cycle and I decided to read it, and now I'm done with the first three books and half in love with Richard Gansey lll, only one book is left, and now I'm wondering what am I going to do with myself after it's done, anyway, thank you for unintentionally changing my life.

You turn to the spinoff trilogy about Ronan next.

And I also recommend the latest two books by Emily Lloyd-Jones as having a similar feel to Maggie Stiefvater in some ways, or at least as close as I’ve found.
