I made this AAAAGES ago and forgot to post it and now I'm annoyed by how it's rotting away on my phone so here. Bratty teen Thancred being a menace to Fourchenault (and a bad influence on Urianger lol)

The one thing I don't understand about the theory where Piltover and Zaun are teaming up to fight Noxus in the end, is why are Vi and Ekko flying towards Jinx's supposed airship if they're on the same team? Why does Vi NEED to confront Jinx in the middle of a warzone?

We see Ekko in garb that looks like he's on Jinx's side, but we mostly see him with the Firelights in those scenes, and they not decorated in Jinx's colors. Even minor background characters that are on Jinx/Sevika's side have a pink X on the right side of their chest. The Firelights are completely free of any graffiti or markers that would identify them with Jinx, and Vi is in an enforcer uniform. We don't see any other Zaunites in the crowd, but for some reason Vi and Ekko are centering their concentration on Jinx.

I think what's happening is that Ambessa's forces are fighting against Piltover's enforcers, but Jinx isn't helping, she's taking advantage of the chaos. Jinx is probably in Piltover to do something big that Piltover can't defend against since they're preoccupied with Noxus. Jinx will probably think the fight between Noxus and Piltover is the best opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. Vi and Ekko will probably object, they'll say her plan goes too far, and it'll get people killed. The whole scenario will probably be a more extreme mirror to whatever the Silco flashback will reveal about what went down on the Day of Ash and why Vander tried to kill Silco, except this time with magic.

KRIST: This series was written by P'Backaof and directed by P'Lit where they created this script from the start deliberately for the two of us and they got information for the characters etc. from KristSingto directly. In the series, the name for P'Sing is Tamtawan, and my name is Phatapi. And Tamtawan Tamtawan and Phatapi are KristSingto themselves.

Speculation/Personal Opinion - not spoiler:

Considering the "baby race" I really don't want Penelope and Colin to "win it".

I really want them to be independent in their own home in Bloomsbury, free to be writers, free to be in love in the world THEY shape. This is in the end what they want also.

And on top of that, there is Colin. You mean to tell me that Colin (with inquisitive Penelope at his side of course) would not search the financial parts? He would not be able to find what Portia did and how the new fortune of the Featheringtons actually came from the stolen funds? Especially when he was so involved in uncovering the whole Jack Featherington scheme. And what do you think, honorable Colin Bridgerton -out of all people- would do once he had that information? And not to mention if he also ever found out about the forgery?

I DO NOT WANT that toxic mess to taint Colin and Penelope. They have their own messes to deal with LOL

I would very much prefer if they stayed far away from having to deal with such issues.

And ..another personal opinion of mine, given the baby race and how it might affect Polin...why do happy endings always have to include babies? In the book it made sense because they were far older but here? They are what? 19/20 - 22/23? Why not give them time to enjoy themselves, travel, write and then have their loving family?

And given how Queen Charlotte's involvement separates the Lady Whistledown tv storyline from the book storyline I have to say that I find it unfortunate how the writers could not find another way to incorporate Lady Danbury's relationship with Penelope in the show!

Speaking plainly: How could you?

And IF you are to give a baby in the end...how could you take away baby Agatha from us? (Along with the reason she gets that name to begin with!)

one thing that's striking me when reading the My Stand In novel scenes that align with ep 1-2 is that Joe aka ZhouXiang isn't stupid or oblivious. He doesn't know Ming is obsessed with his sister's man & using him to vent frustrated desires. But he knows Ming is completely self-absorbed, has "a bad temper", and swings hot & cold. Yet Joe/ZhouXiang is infatuated, a bit lonely, and is simply at a place where he's ready to settle down and get domesticated. Joe KNOWS this is Not Great Bob 🙃 but he finds himself justifying the allowances he's making (everyone forgives beautiful people!) and whenever Ming is involved now, Joe is acting out of character. He's fully aware that he started out just attracted and now he's digging himself deeper and he should stop, but he doesn't. And doesn't and doesn't.

It's painfully relatable: being self-aware that you really shouldn't get more enmeshed with someone... but not able to stop yourself from impulsively clinging. Watching yourself slide into a slow-motion car accident. Knowing it's partially your own damn fault.

It makes the tragedy that we know is coming - we know these circumstances somehow lead to his DEATH - even more pathetic, because he has his own part in this.

Like, he KNOWS the feelings are unbalanced but he's thinking, oh I'm making headway. I can make him return my feelings if I just put in the effort. Haven't we all been there once, chasing affection from someone withholding and almost addicted to the emotional highs/lows, thinking you've gained ground (they texted back! they stopped by late at night! they confessed a vulnerability!) only to see it yanked back.

If Ming is a villian in Joe's story, it's also because Joe is helping it be written that way.

no thoughts head empty just these two socially inept fools finding family in one another. like yes you go you funky little death omens stole that one from a comment on the fic, so if you see this you know who you are, discover that family isn't only tied in blood.

bUT onto less mushy stuff: these two being shenaniganizers; tomfools. Bruce realized that Danny didn't actually know he was Bruce Wayne and instead of going "oh actually im bruce wayne" he went; "hrm... how long can i keep this going until he realizes...."

like. i think they deserve to be the sillies. just utter goobers the both of them. like, danny makes the wittiest side comments, dry quips, under his breath towards Bruce while they're out in public (Danny covering his face with a face mask) and Bruce is trying not to laugh. Meanwhile if Bruce makes one sly comment about someone to Danny, Danny's gonna collapse with laughter.

Bruce plays straightman in most of their bits, he has the best fucking poker face. But also I firmly believe he does actually enjoy Danny's puns. Look me in the eyes- look me in the eyes. Try and tell me that a man that willingly agrees to call a car "the batmobile" even after his eight year old ward grows up (thus negating the need to go along with his antics) doesn't enjoy a good, well-placed pun. Look me in the eyes and try to tell me that. That's right you can't.

He's gonna spit out a well-placed pun in the driest, most boring Batman Voice Ever one day while he's getting ready for patrol, and Danny's gonna fucking die of laughter. He's gonna lose his mind. Bruce is going to have a half-dead sickly teenager laughing his lungs out in the chair. That's a new core memory right there, every time Danny thinks about that he's gonna start giggling.

just!!! these two making each other laugh! That's so important to me. So so much. I nEED Danny to get Bruce to smile and laugh and I need Bruce to make Danny do the same. Danny's all snark and sass and Bruce is all deadpan and dry quips. Do you all see my vision.
