Phantasmagoria Worldbuilding: The Ambarella Orphanage and Rich Cheese Cookie

The Ambarella Orphanage:

Founded by Sovereign Golden Cheese Cookie and Pure Vanilla Cookie (before he had gained his kingship), located in the Golden Empire. An orphanage created to house, care for and educate all children of the Golden City who do not have a parent. There was also a program in which families that struggled financially were able to be aided by the orphanage in matters regarding their children such as schooling, supervising, etc.

This was a program started by Pure Vanilla and sanctioned by the Ruler of the Empire. Pure Vanilla himself has spent a vast amount of time looking after and helping the matrons in charge of the orphanage and has often been trusted as the one in charge of picking and choosing the next cookie to look after the orphanage and the children it holds.

Even after Pure Vanilla Cookie became King of the Vanilla Kingdom, he would continue to visit the Kingdoms of his friends and alongside Golden Cheese Cookie, help out at the orphanage. Unfortunately, along with the rest of the Golden Empire, the orphanage and the residents had all been lost to the Dark Flour War. Dark Enchantress Cookie used Exchange Magic, also less commonly known as Sacrificial Magic (powered by Dark Moon Magic) to sacrifice the entirety of the Empire in order to fuel the Witch's Oven.

Rich Cheese Cookie (Also known as Fledgling among the AUs) was a child who lived in the orphanage and is now a wandering soul unable to rest due to the nature in which she had died. As of currently, she is not a vital part of Phantasmagoria's storyline.

Yeah, I saw. From what was shown about her, Rich Cheese Cookie has mixed feelings about the Golden Cheese Kingdom as well as having an inferiority complex, possibly stemming from seeing kingdom citizens have so much praise and appreciation for Golden Cheese Cookie that Rich Cheese feels like she won’t be able to match.

Scenario idea

Golden cheese asked Black Raisin to try and talk to her child about running away [hc as to why shes not in the story], this is the first time Rich Cheese was vulnerable with anyone since she appeared in the Vanilla kingdom.

Some things about the Ancients!

White Lily's soul will sometimes flicker. She is the only one who this happens to.

Due to their time spent in the void, some of their negative traits have lessened somewhat, due to the fact that they've only had each other and nothing else for years. (ex: Golden Cheese is a little less vain and greedy, and Dark Cacao is slightly less isolating.)

Only Cookies can see them. Things like cake monsters, goblins, and jelly worms can't see nor interact with them. Typically, they also won't appear to most NPC cookies outside of their respective kingdoms, though they can control that.

Each of them sometimes hear voices talking to them in the back of their heads. It was much more prevalent in the limbo they were in from after their deaths to until they were found by Gingerbrave and the other Story mode cookies. (What they don't know is that it's the Beasts trying to communicate.)

Pure Vanilla was overjoyed to meet Custard lll, because it meant that some Vanillians, including Premier Custard, had to have lived. It lessens his guilt slightly, knowing that he at least saved some of his people.

(also, something about the Golden Cheese Kingdom, because I finally figured out what to do with it)

The Golden Cheese Kingdom lore is currently being reworked!
