To support you @wellthatwasaletdown - I would just like to add whoever that anon was she was right
Rape and trafficking - In regards of Olivia Wilde and her association with Harvey Weinstein and Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kroll Family. Everything is on the internet. Just see what RHCP did-🤮 yikes.
I don't think many people read articles or ignore it because they don't want their favourite and the guilt that comes with associating their favourite with these controversies. Allegations on Harvey Weinstein started in 2011- there are close pictures of OW with HW in 2012, 13, 14, 15.
Also, Azoff was accused of molestation charge and rape of a south american model in 1996, unfortunately it has been scrubbed of the internet I can't find it. Rest all I have provided the links.

Also, on a side note - many models/actress who don't have industry background - had been introduced to Harvey Weinstein via Olivia Wilde - she would encourage Young models to build connection with HW - two Victoria Secret Models spoke about it.

I apologise for the long post - it is totally up to you to share - but to think Harry wasn't aware about all this when everything is on the internet and being an apologist for him doesn't stand right with me.
This is coming from a "once upon a time - Harry stan". To give the benefit of doubt to that anon - because I don't want the anon to feel bad - maybe she wasn't aware about all this - hope this helps the anon.
Also, Harry has made it impossible to cancel him - because of TPWK and his mother coming to his defense every time, it gets hard to troll when you have mummy by your side because people are sentimental - they will always go - that's his family so ya in a way things are messed up for Harry and why should we bothered if he isn't - this fandom - has victimized Harry for long, only blogs like yours are becoming a safe space to speak out, so yeah! I don't have anything else to say.
P.S - I FELT THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

My Concert History: Foo Fighters UPDATED
Periodically I do a rundown of my concert history of seeing a particular artist. In 2018, I did my concert history of Foo Fighters, but since then I actually need to update the list. Timing couldn't be better with their show at Fenway Park tomorrow, which I'll be at...and have to update this list again! Here now is the update concert history since that 2018 history was published:
- WBCN River Rave 6/8/1997 @ Great Woods (Mansfield, MA)
I didn’t catch any of Foo Fighters’ shows in 1995-96, but I wasn’t going to miss out when The Colour and the Shape was released. Taylor Hawkins had just joined the band, and it was a few months before Pat Smear left the band. The WBCN River Rave also featured Matthew Sweet, Morphine, Fiona Apple, Porno for Pyros, Primus, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Moby just to name a few. Their set was mostly the songs off the first 2 albums. One of the highlights of the festival!
- HMV Records 11/1/1999 @ HMV (New York, NY)
Me meeting Dave Grohl at their HMV in-store
Chris Shiflett had just joined the band. When There is Nothing Left to Lose was released, they did promotional blitz in NYC that included an in-store appearance at HMV. My ex-GF and I traveled down from MA to NYC for this. The band performed for about 40 min. mostly off the new album. Then the band signed copies of the new album and I got to meet them (read all about it here).
- WBCN Xmas Rave 12/1/1999 @ Orpheum Theater (Boston, MA)
Only a month after I got to meet the band, I saw them at the WBCN Xmas Rave, which also featured At the Drive-In and Ben Harper. They played about 13 songs, mostly hits and new album. Great show!
- 4/2/2000 @ Mullins Center (Amherst, MA)
They co-headlined a tour with Red Hot Chili Peppers (my first time seeing RHCP) with opening act Muse. Drove out to UMass Amherst to see this show. It was really cool to see the Foo Fighters in a much bigger venue, a preview of some of the arenas I’d see them in later. RHCP drummer Chad Smith came out and joined them on a second drum kit for “My Hero”.
- 7/3/2003 @ Hammerstein Ballroom (New York, NY)
Even though the band in retrospect isn’t a fan of their 2002 album One By One, its one of my favorites. Promoting the album, the band played 2 shows at Hammerstein with openers My Morning Jacket and Pete Yorn. They did quite a bit of the One By One album and during “Everlong”, a fan apparently proposed during that song!?!
- Fuse TV Special 6/14/2005 @ Fuse TV studios (New York, NY)
Technically this is not a concert I saw, but I’ll explain why it made the list. I was working at the music video cable TV channel Fuse in 2005 just as the double album In Your Honor had been released. The band was doing a promotional blitz in NYC and stopped by Fuse to do a live performance 7th Avenue Drop show. I tried to go down to see them, but even as an employee and knowing so many people, I wasn’t able to go to the studio due to the capacity limit. But my friend who was working there, managed to get Dave Grohl’s guitar pick for me! Hence it being listed here even though it wasn't an official show I saw.
- 10/14/2005 @ Continental Airlines Arena (Rutherford, NJ)
My girlfriend (who became my wife) and two friends made the trek to NJ to see this co-headlining tour with Weezer and opening act Hot Hot Heat. This was a fantastic show, but the big highlight of the night was when they brought out special guest Roger Taylor of Queen, who played drums on the cover of “Tie Your Mother Down”, which Taylor Hawkins sang on. So much for “Never Meet Your Idols”!
- 8/21/2006 @ Beacon Theater (New York, NY)
In 2006 they went on an intimate acoustic tour of theaters. I went to the Beacon Theater show with Frank Black (of The Pixies) opening. Further musicians they brought on this tour included Rami Jaffee (who became an official member in 2017), Petra Haden, Drew Hester and returning Foo Fighter Pat Smear, who officially returned as a member in 2010. It was almost like an episode of Storytellers as Dave Grohl talked about some of the songs and their meaning. Very special show!
- 2/19/2008 @ Madison Square Garden (New York, NY)
After the release of Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, the band began playing much larger venues. At this MSG show, Serj Tankian (of System of a Down) and Against Me! opened. Some of the additional musicians who played the 2006 acoustic tour came out for an acoustic section of the show that included the very first Triangle solo in MSG history from their percussionist.
- 11/13/2011 @ Madison Square Garden (New York, NY)
By the time of 2011′s album Wasting Light, Pat Smear was back as an official band member. For their NYC show at MSG, the openers were The Joy Formidable and Social Distortion. They brought out a few special guests: Bob Mould of Husker Du played on “Dear Rosemary” and “Breakdown” (the Tom Petty song); and Joan Jett came out and did her song “Bad Reputation” with the band. The band also did Pink Floyd’s “In the Flesh”.
- 7/19/2015 @ Fenway Park (Boston, MA)
Obligatory concert selfie of me and my friend Tim with Foo Fighters behind us!
After the 2014 album and HBO series Sonic Highways, I hoped Boston would be an upcoming episode / recording. While on tour to promote the album, just a few weeks earlier, Dave Grohl broke his leg onstage, so for the remainder of the tour he performed on a throne. Even if he was sitting the whole time, it was one hell of a show (read my concert review here). Openers were Royal Blood and Dropkick Murphys. Highlights of the show included Grohl’s surgeon Dr. Lew Schon, who came out and sang The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” with the band; a brief cover of The Cars’ “Let’s Go”; a cover of Queen and David Bowie’s “Under Pressure”, and Godsmack’s Sully Erna joining for Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out”.
7/21/2018 @ Fenway Park (Boston, MA)
my friend Ron, Wally the Green Monster and me at Fenway Park
Taylor Hawkins onstage with Foo Fighters
My second time seeing them at Fenway Park, but this show was very special because I won a contest and got tickets to the show and got to stay at the nearby Verb Hotel and also earlier in the weekend I got to see Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett doing a solo show at City Winery. I wish I could have this experience more often to get to see a musician in a small intimate setting and then see them rock out in a stadium with a band (read my concert review here). My buddy Ron came up and we had a great time! Openers included Boston's The Monsieurs (who I interviewed earlier in the month) and UK's The Struts. Highlights of this show included a cover of Queen and David Bowie's "Under Pressure" with Taylor Hawkins singing along with The Struts singer Luke Spiller, the band doing a cover of John Lennon's "Imagine" musically while singing Van Halen's "Jump" along with producer Greg Kurstin on piano, and Grohl's daughter Violet (12 at the time) on back-up vocals. Looking back it was one of the best Taylor Hawkins' performances as he also did a drum solo.
Boston Calling 5/23/2023 @ Harvard Athletic Complex (Boston, MA)
Foo Fighters on stage
me in my happy place: watching Foo Fighters
I attended Day of the 2023 Boston Calling festival (read my review here). Foo Fighters' headlined that night of the festival. This was a little over a year after the passing of Taylor Hawkins and only a week after they announced new drummer Josh Freese. Much of this show was about the band breaking in Josh but remembering Taylor. They paid tribute to Taylor with Dave singing “Cold Day in the Sun” (which Taylor sang) and to my surprise they performed “Aurora” because it was Taylor’s favorite Foo Fighter song (I haven’t seen them do that song live since 2003). For “Shame, Shame”, Dave introduced his 17 year-old daughter Violet. The highlight of the night (that got national attention from numerous news and music outlets) was Taylor’s 17 year-old son Shane guest drumming on “This is a Call”.
Me just hanging out with Mr. Chris Shiflett in 2018
In addition to all of these shows I recounted, I also saw Dave Grohl with Them Crooked Vultures in 2009, Taylor Hawkins with the Coattail Riders in 2006 and 2010, and Chris Shiflett in 2018.
After I see tomorrow's show I'll have to update this concert history!

Thanks to @royalshinigami for the tag!
Here are mine. I’m including the albums, years and some notes because I’ve decided to only number songs that I grew up with or were at least released when I was a kid. I’m cutting them off at 1990, when I turned 13. 😅 Though I might mention earlier or later songs in notes and might include a link here or there.
Here’s an unasked for lesson or two in music history. 😆
Gary Numan “The Joy Circuit” (Telekon, 1980) Note: I knew a song or two growing up, like “Cars” (The Pleasure Principle, 1979), but I’ve recently rediscovered his vast catalogue. We are talking more than twenty albums over the past 43 years. Now I’m hooked, though there are a few misses here and there. Sometime in the 90’s his music became influenced by bands like Depeche Mode and NIN, to varying degrees of success. I’m still buying up the catalog, and I read his first autobiography (Praying to the Aliens, 1997/98) but don’t have the second one ([R]evolution, 2019) yet. Despite just turning 64, he’s still super into the latest technology and tweets and Instagrams on a nearly daily basis. He also has a Patreon called Ghost Nation. Seen in concert once, just this year. Hope to see him again after the next album, which is already underway. Will try to get a meet & greet then. 😉 There’s an older South Park episode (s12, e11) that features a Peruvian pan flute cover of “Cars” and a very recent South Park episode (s25, e5) that prominently features his “My Name is Ruin” (Savage {Songs from a Broken World}, 2017), and just wow. 😆 His music has always been a family affair: an uncle used to play drums for him on and off, his father was his personal manager for 35 years, his mother ran his official fan club until she couldn’t anymore, his wife often does his makeup and styling (married in 1998), and his daughters make guest appearances in videos and shows (Persia in 2017/2018) and this latest Intruder (2021) tour (Raven, Persia, and Echo in 2021/22). He’s such a proud papa! 🥹 His wife also regularly tours with him and snaps pics from the little gaps between divider and stage; I saw her bouncing around just a few feet away when I saw him back in March; she’s ten years younger and a huge fan since his career started. 🤩 I have developed a slight crush on the weirdo, even though he’s 20 years my senior. 🤪🤷🏻♀️
Depeche Mode “And Then…” (Construction Time Again, 1983) Note: I grew up with DM and was absolutely obsessed with them for a long time, particularly Martin Gore ❤️. Have lots of their stuff on vinyl, cassette, some posters, and some books about them. I had won 2 tickets (from answering trivia on the radio) to see their Violator tour in 1990, but my mother wouldn’t let me go, and I will never forgive her; I still have those tickets. 🥀 Seen in concert twice since then, starting in 1994. Funny trivia: Gary Numan tried to get them signed onto Beggar’s Banquet (the label he was on back then) around 1979/80, but Daniel Miller beat Gary to it and signed them to Mute Records… and Gary was later highly inspired by Songs of Faith and Devotion (1993)
The Cure “Like Cockatoos” (Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, 1987) Note: Another band I grew up listening to and got really into. I was obsessed with Robert Smith for a few years. 😵💫 A good chunk of my vinyl collection is Cure records. Have lots of collector’s items, posters, some cassettes, videos, and a few books, too. I’ve met Perry Bamonte and used to email back and forth with Roger O'Donnell. I kept those emails; they are in my work email archive and date to 2004. Seen the band in concert three times, starting with the Bloodflowers tour in 2000. A really old South Park episode (s1, e12) features Robert Smith as a guest voice, and where Kyle says “Disintegration [1989] is the best album ever!” as Robert walks away into the sunset… after defeating Barbara Streisand. 😂
Kate Bush “Love and Anger” (The Sensual World, 1989) Note: Stranger Things features her “Running Up That Hill” (Hounds of Love, 1985) in season 4, but I grew up listening to her. Family road trips usually included Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel cassettes. (And they have done collaborations before.) I still have some of her music on vinyl and cassette. Bonus: “Cloudbusting” (Hounds of Love). Yes, she’s got Donald Sutherland, Kiefer Sutherland’s father, in this video. She has been extremely influential to other singers, and there are covers of her songs everywhere.
Peter Gabriel “The Rhythm of the Heat” (Security, 1982) Note: He was the original frontman for Genesis in the mid-70’s, when Phil Collins was just the drummer. I still have some of his stuff on vinyl and cassette. He’s probably best known for “In Your Eyes” (So, 1986), famously used in the boom box scene for the movie Say Anything (1989).
Peter Murphy “Indigo Eyes” (Love Hysteria, 1988) Note: Frontman of Bauhaus back in the day, but they do reunion tours sometimes. Despite a long solo career, he might still be best known for Bauhaus’ “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” (the A-side of their first single, in 1979), often credited as the first goth rock recording. When Bauhaus split, the backing band became Love and Rockets, which I also like and have a bit of their stuff on vinyl. I’ve seen him solo in concert once, met him then, and got autographs. He’s super kind to fans who wait by his tour bus.
Duran Duran “New Religion” (Rio, 1982) Note: My sister was so obsessed with Nick Rhodes (keyboards) that she used to dress in pink and grey (his favorite colors) and cried in despair when he got married. I still have some of their older albums on vinyl, but my sister is the one who bought them. I even still have the Into the Arena board game that we used to play! 🤣 I’ve seen them in concert twice: the tours for Paper Gods (2015) and Future Past (2021). The original lineup first formed in 1978.
Nine Inch Nails “Something I Can Never Have” (Pretty Hate Machine, 1989) Note: Oof 😅 I was about to turn 12 when this debut album came out. 1989 was the big year for my musical awakening, as a listener, though I liked various things before then. This album initially pissed off my dad because he heard the lyrics to “Terrible Lie” incorrectly, but even my mom appreciates this song I’ve linked. Gary Numan was later highly influenced by Pretty Hate Machine (1989) and The Downward Spiral (1994).
the The “Uncertain Smile” (Soul Mining, 1983) Note: My sister and I kind of finally discovered Matt Johnson and the The around 1993 but then realized we’d heard older songs of his before, like this one and a few songs from Mind Bomb (1989). Dusk (1993) is a great album, but I’m sticking to pre-1990 for this numbered list. Some version of the The has been around since 1979, but Matt is the only constant member.
Dream Academy “Life in a Northern Town” (The Dream Academy, 1985) Note: the band was only active from 1983 to 1991, and this is their biggest hit, a tribute to Nick Drake… a musician who has inspired some other artists on this list (like Kate Bush and Robert Smith) as well as many who are not, like Peter Buck (of R.E.M.) and Beck. This is basically a one-hit-wonder band, but they did a cover of The Smiths’ “Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want”, and an instrumental version of their cover ended up on the soundtrack for Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986), during the museum scene. An excerpt from “The Edge of Forever” also ended up used in that soundtrack, under some dialogue. All three songs were on their debut (minus the instrumental version of the cover), and their later albums just didn’t do as well. 😢
Oh, I nearly forgot to tag people by the time I was done typing. I stayed up all night!!! 🤦🏻♀️
@stainedglass-wings @euremaum @phantomfiles @layingwithlay @midnight-in-town @kaorikarma @fallencallings @such-a-downer @ink-intheblood-ink-inthekeys @maerda No pressure, of course. (Answer it now!! /j 🙃 😆)
Thanks for tagging me! These aren’t in any particular order of favorites but here we go-
1. Born this Way by Lady Gaga
She’s always resonated with me as a unique artist, but even more so when I found we have the same Meyer’s Briggs personality type, same height and both have fibromyalgia.
2. Black Fox by Heather Dale
This song was listened to on repeat so many times in middle school along with the start of my love for foxes.
3. Gimme that Swing by Cissie Redgwick
This type of music is so timeless and classy feeling along with just being fun (other ‘swing’ bands I like include Speakeasies Swing band! and Electro Swing Circus)
4. Paralyzed by Aviators (electro dub dance rock)
So many unique songs by this person they all have their own feel especially their more darker toned songs like Far Side, Masks or Can you Hear it?
5. Bad Habits by Ed Sheeron
I just love it can be useful for writing music too
6. Play with Fire by Sam Tinnesz
Another song for writing in certain fandoms on characters (cough)
7. Under a Violet Moon by Blackmore’s Night (I love most of their songs but this is a very nice upbeat/folk one)
These songs are just magical and transport you to another time no matter if I’m writing, drawing or just want to get away.
8. Monsters by Ruelle
Her voice is just 👌 very underapreciated artist. (Most people know her from a show called Shadow hunters I guess?)
9. Electric Daisy by Lindsey Stirling
Very nostalgic song for me being one of the first I listened to by her and had to hear more. The violin and music mixed with the choreography is very easy to get lost in her work.
10. Pick Me Up by Perfume
Even though I need subtitles their is something about these three that is just magnetic. Nothing over the top in their music videos just their choreography and music.

11, 37, 78 for the music asks 💜
11. How has your music taste changed in the last 5 years?
Ok five years ago I was... halfway through my freshman year of college so I would have been really into pink floyd and santana, so prog & psychedelic. That summer was a lot of beatles (but I think also sublime and of course always rhcp), then things got very 70s in the fall (supertramp and steve miller band) leading into the who in the winter. The rest of 2018 was a blend of things and then the dirt movie came out in early 2019. That spring I started listening to motley, to t. rex, and oddly also to k pop. GNR took over soon after that, and smkc (& dirty honey!) when I saw them in concert that summer, and my playlists got a lot heavier with some black sabbath/ozzy, some metallica, also the clash? things went on like that for a while and then around the summer of 2020 I was also listening to a lot of punk (mostly classic stuff, misfits were a big one). By 2021 there was some alter bridge/myles kennedy and mcr, a lot of halestorm and green day, and a pretty steady rotation of 90s-00s alt rock hits, and I'm so sorry for this unnecessarily detailed block of text 😂😂
37. An underrated song on your favorite album?
Idk if I have a fav album but rhcp's californication is up there, and get on top and road trippin are two of my favs that I don't hear on the radio! man I should listen to that album...
78. A song you like with a number in the title?
misfits, 20 eyes!

For the random music asks: all evens?👀
Thanks for the ask <3 And this will be loooooong (anyone who doesn't wanna see me ramble just scroll quickly)
2: Send The Pain Below by Chevelle. Typical song you pick up from your brother but were too young to bother to dig deeper into the band lol
4: TOOL! It's in all-caps bc isn't that how they stylize it? Also bc I'm glad that I've started listening to them :D I love MJK's voice, one of the most powerful voices I ever heard
6: Not really since both their solo works and work with the band make me happy. My favorites are Dave's and Karl Bartos' solo stuff, and of course Recoil (but at this point I guess Karl's work and Recoil deserve to be recognized as enitities of their own, no?)
8: Lateralus - TOOL. Yeah, them again,,, I really really am into how intricate this song is and how it contradicts itself a lot but it just makes sense??? I used to think listening to songs longer than 5 mins was tedious but when I listen to this it's like time dilates or sumn
10: Ben & Ben. They're an OPM band that makes songs that make me want someone to love. My school invited them to play in 2018 and I LOVED them. I was hesitant to get into them at first bc at that time I was tryna be edgy and only listen to rock/metal ahsbsjanshsjsks
12: Johnny Hollow. When I looked it up it said they're Dark Wave, and they do seem to stand out in my playlists
14: I think you need to give me a specific cardinal number for this ahshdjsksksksjs
16: Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers, it's so trippyyyyy, I'm glad I have a physical copy of that album bc I just like looking at it. It looks like a place I def wanna be in :)))
18: Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson. Though I love all of the ones from the triptych, I have a soft spot for this one bc of Scott Putesky's work in it. And Brian's antichrist voice! And the music videos! (I watched "Begotten" for this shit)
20: Haven't been to a lot of concerts besides ones my school hosts, but prolly the longest one was an MTV music festival with One Republic headlining (ofc it was long bc it was a music fest, I wanted to friggin collapse after that ahshdjdkskshsj)
22: not all of these are bands, though, but here they are,,,,
1.) Stripped - Depeche Mode
2.) Sehnsucht - Rammstein
3.) Slow Cheetah - RHCP
4.) The Telephone Call - Kraftwerk
5.) Control Freak - Recoil
6.) Slutgarden - Marilyn Manson
7.) Kingdom - Dave Gahan
8.) Hey Jupiter - Tori Amos
9.) Favorite Record - Fall Out Boy
10.) Sariling Multo - IV Of Spades
24: Oh you're not gonna expect this, but it's Martin Gore. I know, right? Coming out of left field! I love Mart's songs soooo much, it's the kind of songs that makes you wanna get it tattooed on your body but then again I love literally all the words so I might look like that guy from the Books of Blood 😩

A partir disso.

Jolyne, Johnny, and Pucci for the ask game ?
Jolyne- Who is your favorite female character?
This may be a bit obvious,, but it’s yasuho! I think she’s by far the best written female character in jojo. Her development, and I’ve talked about it before, but her backstory shown in chapter 71 makes her VERY relatable to me.
Johnny- How long have you been in the fandom?
I’ve made jojo art and memes for at least probably almost 2 years now, seeing as I started jojo in December 2018.. but I didn’t really start interacting with any jojo fans until (what a coincidence) I found this one blog called ad-jjba. (idk if youve heard of them)
Pucci- Who is your least favorite character?
For who he is, I absolutely hated Alessi and his arc. (of course as we all should) but I actually also really disliked Red Hot Chili Pepper, but not really Akira. I think Akira is a good character, but RHCP showed up a ton in the beginning of part 4 and was (I think) set up to be a major villain, however he falls completely flat. RHCP wasn’t even really that threatening… at least we got Kira :-)

Hi! Could you maybe recommend some music, I keep listening to the same three songs and would love to find something new, doesn't have to be a specific genre. Also, you're blog is wonderful!
omg this is so sweet my heart is 🥺 rn but also, idk how much I can help because I also genuinely will listen to one song for an entire week straight and haven’t had a ton of time to find new music lately! but here’s some genre breakdowns of artists I love and some songs by them, or just individual tunes:

Album Review: Eddie Vedder “Earthling”
Overshadowing Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder’s new solo album Earthling (which drops today in digital from Seattle Surf / Republic with the physical release due out July 29) is the insults going back and forth in the press between Vedder and Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx. After Vedder made a comment about the Crue, Sixx referred to Pearl Jam as “the most boring band in history”. All I can say is Sixx must’ve not seen the PJ live performances I saw in 2000 and 2018 (read my review of their 2017 concert documentary and live album Let’s Play Two and their 2018 Fenway Park concert review for further proof). I certainly hope this tiff doesn’t overshadow the powerful new work from Vedder.
album cover
In addition to PJ’s excellent 2020 album Gigaton (read my review here), each member has been doing some cool extra-curricular activities in recent years, i.e. Mike McCready’s soundtrack work and his photography (read my book review of his book Of Potato Heads and Polaroids), Stone Gossard’s label Loosegroove Records (who recently reissued The Living’s album 1982), Matt Cameron’s solo album Cavedweller, and bassist Jeff Ament’s recent solo album I Should Be Outside. For some PJ would be more than enough, but Vedder has always been super prolific: he was a part of the supergroup Temple of the Dog (their 1991 album is one of my all time favorites), he’s contributed to tons of movie soundtracks (way too many to list here), and he’s even acted (as a member of Citizen Dick in Singles and as a singer on the Twin Peaks revival). Vedder’s 2007 soundtrack to Into the Wild was his debut solo album and it’s one of my favorites of that year. His 2011 album Ukulele Songs was an entire album of songs he was performing with a ukulele. Last year he, along with Glen Hansard and Cat Power did the soundtrack to Flag Day, among the highlights was “My Father’s Daughter” featuring Vedder’s daughter Olivia.

For this newest solo album Earthling he recruited several musical friends including Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, former RHCP guitarist Josh Klinghoffer (he’s recently been a touring guitarist with PJ recently too), Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, and guitarist Andrew Watt, who produced this album. There’s also appearances from Stevie Wonder, Sir Elton John and Sir Ringo Starr! The Ringo collaboration “Mrs. Mills” is one of the highlights. Vedder has done some Beatle covers in the past and this is his Beatle-esque pop rocker that actually makes reference to Paul McCartney in a fun melodic way. This is easily Vedder’s best solo album yet! It definitely sounds like Vedder and some of the songs could fit on a PJ album, but it also has a different vibe to it, almost a Tom Petty vibe, which makes perfect sense since Benmont Tench of The Heartbreakers plays on multiple tracks. The Elton John duet “Picture” could easily fit onto an Elton John album too. But it feels like he’s putting his powerful voice to work here and reaching out to the masses about his worldview (his political activism comes up throughout) in 2022. I think Nikki Sixx may want to listen to this and realize there’s nothing boring at all about Mr. Vedder’s music!

Fiz uma tour com o RHCP em 2002, época que pra mim foi o auge da banda. A performance e a cumplicidade dos Peppers no palco e no dia a dia era um espetaculo a parte e resultaram em fotos incriveis.
