A sunny Nico

Nico di Angelo looked at himself in the mirror. He had the usual gloomy look. Black hair, a tense expression, pursed lips. He grimaced.

There were days when he wanted to be someone else. The opposite of what he was. A sunny Nico, with a smile that lit up everything.

Unfortunately that Nico didn't exist. It was a dream. An ideal. A lie.

-Mmm, lost in some dark thought?- Will put a hand on his arm. It seemed like he always knew what to say.

-Do you ever think you'd like to see me more sunny?

Will was his opposite. Beautiful, shiny, blond. -And why would I think such a thing?

-Because… - you are sunny and perfect, I am… shadow.

-You are the best person in this world, I like you the way you are

-Me?- was it a lie? A way to make him feel loved?

He sighed..

-And I only want you

-Only me?

-I don't want another Nico, I want you- Will took his hands and turned him around.

Nico knew that there were no more beautiful eyes in the world than his. Will was everything that he, Nico, son of Hades, motherless, overwhelmed by the mourning of his sister, could never be.

Maybe that was why he was attracted to him.

A moth flying towards the fire. Maybe he would burn his wings… but he would be happy. The best things were perhaps the most dangerous.

Percy has never mentioned to ever cry in front of anyone canonically. No matter how hard it got. Ever thought when he first cried? So I came up with this headcannon.

The first time he cries was his wedding. He takes one looks at Annabeth after kissing her. As soon as the priest says "i pronouce you two husband and wife" he just starts crying. His tears just don't stop and keep crying. And is like "i can't believe we made it." And that is how the whole camp sees the great fearless percy jackson cry for the first time. Sobbing at his wedding. Not being able to believe he uad something permanent in his life. Annabeth makes countless tries to make him stop only to break down herself. So the pair just stand there, forehead pressed together, tearing out of happiness.

Not breaking down over a death, a quest, a war, a fall into tartarus, almost dying but by the fact that something was permanent that 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘵.

PJO and HoO characters I think would have ~amazing~ style

Percy Jackson- You can not convince that Percy would not dress like a skater boy. Maybe he doesn’t always have time to express his style, but it is definitely there.

Hazel Levesque- I have always pictured her with an amazing style. She would definitely dress modest being from the ‘30/’40s ( I can’t remember), but I always pictured her in summery dresses, mom jeans, layers, and cute skirts. I feel like she would thrift because she missed years of fashion.

Nico di Angelo- Look me in the eyes and tell me Nico di Angelo does not have style. You can’t. He definitely is dressed in big jackets and black clothes, but he also like looks amazing. He 100% wears big chunky rings and skinny jeans and looks so good. 

Will Solace- I don’t know where I came up with this, I think Will would dress like a stereotypical bisexual. You know, tucked in shirts, cuffed jeans, whatever people think bisexuals where even though sexuality isn’t defined by clothing, all that cute stuff. Also I feel Will would wear crop tops just because he feels like it.

Thalia Grace- Lemme just say this girl’s style is immaculate. She knows what she wants to wear and pulls it off. She has a funky punk rock look and I love it. That’s all that needs to be said.

Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano- She never really appears wearing anything other than her armor and cape, but I’ve always had a feeling that she has amazing style. Sometimes she dressed in athleisure, and sometimes she has on an outfit with grunge vibes. Tell me with a straight face that you can’t picture Reyna in an oversized flannel, thrifted Rolling Stones T-shirt, and ripped boyfriend jeans. She would definitely layer and wear crop tops because of her amazing abs.
