Announcing Rexsoka Week 2025!
SAVE THE DATES! APRIL 13-19, 2025
Welcome to Rexsoka Week 2025! This is our chance to come together as a community for a week of joyful creativity, celebrating and appreciating Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex as a couple.
And, so you can help us create the best event, we’re asking for your input on the prompts (you can submit prompts AND you'll vote on your favorites)!
If your brain is already whirring with ideas, we LOVE it! For now, save these dates:
October 1-15: Your chance to influence our prompts! Submit as many prompts as you’d like through a form that'll be posted to this blog on October 1.
November 1-15: We’ll compile all the prompt suggestions into categories, and then you’ll have the opportunity to vote for your favorites/the ones that inspire you.
By December 7: The great unveiling of the prompts! Depending on how many prompts we get, we hope to have more than one prompt per day so you can be flexible on which one you select (if there’s one that speaks to you more).
In the meantime, be thinking of prompts to submit them on October 1. We can’t wait to see what you come up with. In the words of Ahsoka herself, we couldn’t ask for better soldiers, or better friends!

Phonetic Convergence
Pairing: Rexsoka
Prompt: Rexsoka Week '22 - Day 2 - Everyone Sees It / Even After All This Time
Summary: While Rex is visiting Clone Force 99 on Ord Mantell, Omega stumbles upon him conversing with a pretty girl on the holoprojector. She picks up on a strange phenomenon between the two.
Tags: reference to mature situations if you squint
Word Count: 3,064
A/N: I've actually noticed this phenomenon in my own and other people's relationships, so I thought who better than Omega to notice the same thing between our favs. She's so perceptive and smart I just love Omega!
read on ao3! / rexsoka week '22 masterlist
A bead of sweat ran down the back of his neck. This was the longest he’d gone without a response from her. Hunter was still talking to him, nursing the only drink he’d had that night. Rex was starting on his third. The shitty ale was no competitor to the Tihaar he was used to. It was doing almost nothing for him. His nerves were shot.
He stole a quick glance down at his datapad for the umpteenth time, then back up to the bottles stacked high on the wall facing him. Still nothing and Hunter was still talking.
“He’s great, been a delight for Omega. She never meets a stranger,” he chuckled, turning to look over his shoulder at the girl playing Dejarik with Gregor.
“Yeah, he’s something else.”
A hand slid towards him on the counter of the bar and Rex snapped out of his dazed state. Hunter was looking dead at him. A brow lifted to him, moving the whole tattoo with it. “Rex. Whatever it is… I figured a few drinks would’ve pulled it out of you by now,” he spoke more hushed than before. Hunter followed his confrontation with a light laugh, hoping to put his anxious brother at ease.
Rex leaned back in his barstool, a deep sigh escaping his lips. He attempted to meet Hunter’s amusement, “You should’ve told Cid to stock up on Tihaar, then.”
He gave the Revnog in front of him a playful sneer.
Hunter downed the rest of his and picked up Rex’s drink, “More for me, then.” When Rex made no move to speak, he pressed on, “Seriously… No more rules anymore, you can tell me anything; not that the rules stopped us on that before all this.”
The blonde swallowed, “I’m just waiting to hear back from someone… It’s been a few weeks.”
There was no more pressing left to do. Hunter knew as well as Rex that friends on their side were in short supply these days. They were all either dead or had a target on their heads. Extracting Gregor was risky enough. The more small targets there were in the same room, the bigger the target got.
Hunter pushed his hair away from his face and gave his brother a knowing look. He stood and circled behind the bar in search of a stronger spirit.
Rex was leaned over the holotable with his head in his hands when his comlink lit up. He scanned the rec room to confirm the boys had left for bed before opening it.
Ahsoka. His leg began to shake as he listened to her message. Her voice was scrambled.
“Jaig, I’m safe. Found shelter in the Outer Rim. Are you free to speak? Fulcrum.”
Not another moment was wasted as Rex stood to his feet, switching on his holoprojector and impatiently waiting for the old thing to crackle with life. The device sputtered as she tapped into the frequency, a blue wave following the sound. There she stood. Ahsoka was half-lidded, scuffed up, and as beautiful as ever.
“Hey Rexster,” she smiled, crossing her arms, “Miss me?”
He shook his head in amusement, “You can’t imagine, Ahsoka. I’m glad to hear from you. So the Outer Rim, huh? Wherever it is, just please tell me it’s safe.”
“The Thabeska System. I landed last night; took me a while to stake out shelter. I wish I could’ve contacted you sooner. I just had to be sure of this place first,” she reasoned.
Rex let out a sigh that had been trapped in his lungs and ran a hand through his now, unkempt hair, “That’s the best news I could’ve hoped for. You have no idea.” His eyes searched her, drinking her in, attempting to quench an insatiable thirst. He never knew which transmission would be their last.
Ahsoka cocked her head, giving her clone Captain a full look, “I’m liking the hair. This is the longest you’ve had it. Disheveled suits you, Rexster.”
The compliment threw Rex for a loop, causing a pink tinge to nest in his cheeks. He would never get used to hearing such kind words, especially from her. She had to know exactly what she did to him. Rex chuckled and ran a gloved hand through the overgrown buzz cut again. Truth be told, he couldn’t stand to have longer hair. Anything that went up past his fingers was too long. However, haircuts are a luxury when you share the same face with millions of others. Additionally, if you weren’t in Stormtrooper armor, they were further down on the list of priorities.
His own preferences aside, Ahsoka liked his new hair. In fact, the first time she’d pointed it out, he decided he wouldn’t try and cut it anymore. He wasn’t proud of it, but the last time they’d been united, he fell in love with the way her fingers felt on his scalp when she ran her hands through his strands. The way she scratched and gently pulled had kindled a spark in his abdominal region.
“Your lekku have grown more,” he observed, not wanting her to see just how much she affected him.
Ahsoka looked down and picked up her front left lek by the tip, “Just a little, yeah. Are you still on Ord Mantell?”
The Captain nodded.
“Tell the boys I said hey,” she joked.
“I wish I could.”
Omega couldn’t find her Bad Batcher doll. She’d searched her entire room twice and had no luck. The button by her door lit up and slid open. She looked down the hall towards the ‘fresher and found Wrecker walking out in his sleepwear.
The young girl trotted up to him, “Wrecker, have you seen my Bad Batcher? She’s not in my room.”
Concern was written across the man’s face. He scratched the back of his head, “Uh… Have you checked the rec room? I think you had her in there earlier when you were schooling us in Dejarik!” A playful laugh bellowed from him and he squeezed past her to go back into his shared room with the rest of their brothers.
“I haven’t! Thanks, Wrecker!”
She made the walk to where they’d all been earlier. Now that Wrecker said so, she definitely remembered having her doll with her by the holotables.
Captain Rex had been in the rec room since he’d been visiting them on Ord Mantell. Omega had offered him her room, but he declined. He could bunk up with Wrecker, but had said that had ended badly the last time they attempted that.
Omega laughed to herself, but quieted as she approached the room. The last thing she wanted to do was wake Rex. She rounded the corner and stopped almost immediately, inhaling a sharp breath and ducking back behind the wall next to her.
The room was all dark except for the neon lights on the game machines and the faint blue cast of a holoprojector. It was a person she’d never seen before. Captain Rex was not asleep, but awake talking to a girl.
He didn’t sound like himself.
She squinted her eyes, hoping somehow that it would help her hear better.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” the girl on the holoprojector jested.
Captain Rex laughed, “You’re just pulling my leg now. There’s no way you don’t remember!”
Omega watched the girl’s headtails swing when she talked, “Of course I remember, Rex. It’s you.”
Even in the dim light, the younger girl could tell that Rex was blushing! She giggled softly, entertained with this display. He was normally so calm and more uptight than her other brothers, she’d never seen any clone other than Clone Force 99 act so unconventionally. The girl he was talking to was very pretty. No wonder Rex was acting the way he was.
She crept closer, catching sight of the helmet of her doll in the booth behind Rex. Her head peeped up from behind a chair as she neared and saw the way Rex looked at the girl in front of him.
He loved her.
Omega smiled, no longer amused but in awe. It was funny seeing the soft side of someone who appeared hard and, at times, emotionless. She wondered if her brothers in the other room knew anything about Rex’s girlfriend.
The girl just smirked, “You and Hunter had to have been babysitting the bar tonight.”
“Hey, it’s not the Mandalorian stuff. You’re not catching me red-handed tonight,” he threw his hands up in playful defense.
She bit her lip, “I’m not so sure I believe that. Sober Rex wouldn’t be caught dead talking about how my hands felt in his hair.”
The blue projection of Rex’s girlfriend began to crackle. The waves shifted and went in and out. The girl’s voice was choppy as she tried to tell Rex there was a malfunction with the call. The connection was then lost and Omega watched as the Captain’s face and posture deflated.
Her own expression dropped. Oh no, poor Rex. She wondered if she should go up to him and offer him comfort.
Just as she started to rise from her squatted position behind the wall, there was a faint knock on the front door of Cid’s. Rex whipped around, putting his bucket on and grabbing both of his blasters. He stalked to the door with inaudible steps, arms outstretched, fingers hesitated by the triggers.
The knock sounded again, barely louder than before.
Rex used the pad by the door to access the video footage. It was dark, but Omega could make out a hooded figure at the bottom of the stairs. She gasped and squeezed her eyes shut.
Whatever it was, she knew Rex would protect her.
He dropped his defensive stance and moved to open the door. It slid open and there the hooded person stood. Omega’s eyes widened as she forced herself to watch, determined she wouldn’t be scared.
The mysterious person stepped closer to her brother and arms rose to remove the hood.
It was the girl from the video. The one Rex had just been talking to!
“Got any spare rooms?” She smiled.
Rex let out a breath, and dropped his blasters to the ground, making quick work of his helmet. He grabbed her up in a hug. The girl tried to hug him back, but he’d trapped her arms. He spun her around before releasing and putting his hands over her shoulders, just looking at her.
The girl examined him up and down, before stifling a giggle, “Did you really answer the door in nothing but a body glove and your helmet?”
His mouth pulled to one side, laughing along with her, “I suppose I did.”
“Very scary, Rexster.”
He reached a hand out to hold her face, thumb caressing her cheek, “I thought you were on Thabeska. Kriff, you’re incredible.”
He still sounded different.
She leaned into his touch, covering his hand with her own, “I wanted to surprise you. That’s the next stop.”
“How long do I have you?”
“Just for tonight.”
Rex pulled the girl to him again, resting his chin between the two pointy things on her head, “I’ve missed you ‘Soka.”
Soka? Was that her name?
Omega realized this was her chance. While they were distracted, she set her sights back on her doll. She slipped between the booths and army crawled to retrieve her beloved Bad Batcher. Reaching out, she wiggled her fingers until she caught it by the leg and pulled it towards her.
Slippery little thing.
Before turning and scampering away, she took one last look at Rex and the girl. Soka had her hand curled up in Rex’s hair and was now able to hug him back. Both of them had their eyes closed.
All this talk about her touching his hair, Omega figured the girl must be very interested in it, seeing as she didn’t have any.
Omega decided she would leave the two lovebirds to catch up. She hugged her doll to her chest, giddy with all of her newfound knowledge. She pressed the button to her brother’s shared room and made for Wrecker’s bunk. The burly man’s face lit up and patted his mattress for her to sit next to him. He was picking the leaves off of a Jogan fruit.
She held up her doll, “Found her! She was exactly where you said.”
Wrecker gave her a big smile and winked at the girl, “See, I told you so, didn’t I? You didn’t wake up old Rexy did you?”
“He’s still awake…” she looked down and fiddled with her sock, “Talking to someone.”
“Talking to someone?” he asked, words muffled with his mouth full of the purple fruit.
She hummed in affirmation, “His girlfriend.”
A mischievous grin overtook Wrecker’s face, his interest suddenly piqued, “Rex? A girlfriend!?”
Omega nodded boastfully.
“Rex doesn’t have a girlfriend!” he howled and slapped his knee, “...Does he?”
Hunter and Gregor’s conversation trailed off and both gave their attention to Wrecker and Omega. The tattooed man’s brows furrowed and he directed the question to the rest of his vode in silence. Gregor only shrugged his shoulders. Tech peered over his goggles at Echo, who shook his head.
Hunter pulled his bandana off and pushed a stray hair from his face, “See? Not a chance.”
The youngest clone pursed her lips and looked to Wrecker before looking back at the rest of the room, “Well, either way he’s in love with her.”
“How could you know that, Omega?” Hunter probed.
“He sounded different when he was talking to her.”
Hunter leaned forward, “What’s that have to do with anything.”
“I don’t know,” she admitted, “It just does.”
Wrecker sat next to her, his hands on his knees, looking back and forth at his brothers as they spoke.
Omega crossed her arms at the silence of her brothers.
Hunter turned, uttering out flatly, “Tech?”
The man’s attention was diverted from his book to Hunter. He closed it and sat up, “I believe the occurrence that Omega has picked up on is phonetic convergence.”
There was unanimous confusion in the room.
“Could you explain that for us, Tech?” Wrecker asked.
“Certainly. Phonetic convergence is defined as an increase in similarity of acoustic-phonetic form between two people. Meaning, both sexes use a lower-pitched voice and show a higher level of physiological arousal when speaking to an attractive target.”
Omega’s face lit up, only understanding half of Tech’s explanation, “See? He loves her! I rest my case.”
“I didn’t say love,” Tech corrected.
She huffed and put her hands on her hips, “Fine. Don’t believe me, then. Go see for yourself. They’re in the front room.”
Hunter stood, “Wait, Omega, is she here?”
“Yeah, she was on the holoprojector and then she just kinda showed up.”
The rest of the boys made a move to get to their feet as well, but Hunter gestured for them to stay put.
Wrecker spoke up, “Well? What did she look like?”
“Oh she’s very pretty! She reminded me of Master Shaak Ti, but with orange skin instead of red.”
Echo suddenly became acutely aware after that, “Omega, you said like Shaak Ti?”
Omega nodded.
“Did you happen to catch her name?” he pressed.
“I sure did!” she confirmed, “It’s Soka!”
Everyone turned to look at Echo. His expression said everything. He knew who the Captain’s girlfriend was.
“You know her!?” Wrecker exclaimed.
The clone bobbed his head in verification, “It’s his old Commander… Ahsoka Tano.”
Ahsoka twirled his hair around one of her fingers, memorizing every inch and crease of his face. All he could do was look back at her, just happy to be in her presence again.
“Are you taking care of yourself?” she asked, concern detectable in her voice.
He could never lie to her.
Sighing, he gave up the truth, “Not as well as I should.”
She furrowed her brows, attempting to be upset with him. She could never be upset with him. “Promise me you’ll do a better job of it. Please? You look so tired all the time.”
He wouldn’t tell her, but in being apart from her, there was no such thing as sleep. He spent his nights worrying over her. If he did get any rest, the nightmares came. Rex didn’t want to watch helplessly as he failed her. The subconscious could be cruel.
Rex promised her he’d try harder, and took her hand in his. He squeezed it before moving her hand to face upwards, and started delicately tracing the lines in her palm with his fingers.
“Have you heard from the kid yet?” he changed the subject.
“Cal? No... Not yet. I don’t blame him though. It would be tough to be just a kid in this mess.”
And suddenly Rex was angry again; angry at the fact that he and Ahsoka were children thrust into war. Despite having been a Jedi, it was still wrong of the Republic and the Council and whoever else’s decision it was to place children on the battlefield. He remembered his own young age at that moment. Thirteen and bred for war.
Ahsoka ran her hand down his neck and pulled him close, seemingly already knowing how he was feeling. Big emotions were always at play when they were together — some unspoken and some not.
She soothed him and pressed a chaste kiss to his cheekbone, “Come here.”
Rex layed down on the booth, pulling Ahsoka close. She evaded his attempts to settle her on his chest, and she instead placed his head in her lap.
For several hours, Ahsoka provided her Rex with a source of comfort. She went between raking her fingers along his scalp, to rubbing his face and his chest. She couldn’t stay and wait for the Bright Jewel sun to cast its light upon the planet, but she could wait to make sure Rex got the sleep he so desperately deserved.
She rubbed his forehead creases away, letting him know he needn’t be afraid.
By the time he awoke, she’d long been gone.
He realized his recurring nightmare had relinquished him, allowing him a break from his fear of failing her. Rex did, however, have his brothers and his only sister eyeing him suspiciously once he sat up, telling smirks spread across each of their faces.
Maybe he’d only traded one nightmare in for another.

“Rex, I really need to go.”
His hands were on her side and she leaned her head back against the wall as he continued kissing her neck. Gently biting down on the tender flesh from time to time.
“Then go. I’m not holding you back,” the vibrations of his deep voice send shivers through her skin, as he spoke in between wet kisses.
“I’m being serious. Anakin is going to be super mad at me, if I’m late.”
“I was being serious too,” he left a kiss on the sweet spot of her neck, followed by him sucking it. Ahsoka moaned out loud, pressing her body closer to his, “If you want to go,” his hand traveled between her legs, making her whimper, “Then I won’t hold you back.”
Ahsoka’s mind went blank for a moment. There was nothing but the two of them. His hand wasn’t moving, it just stayed there between her legs and yet she could feel herself getting wetter with every second passing. On any other day she would have completely given in to his touch. Would have let him please her and would have pleased him. She would have enjoyed the thought of his mouth licking and sucking more than just her neck, would have encouraged him to do so much more. But to her great despair today wasn’t one of those days.
The grin Rex had kept on his face up until this moment faded, when Ahsoka gently put her hands on his shoulders and pushed him back a bit. Their eyes met, but neither of them said a word. Ahsoka leaned forwards to place a small kiss on his lips, before turning around and leaving the room.
On her way to Anakin, she was still trying to clear her mind, when she heard a beep coming from the datapad she was holding, informing her that someone had send her a message. After taking a quick look at the still locked screen, she realized that it was Rex who messaged her. A split second before she opened the message a strange feeling overcame her, telling her that it may not be the best idea to open it now, but she quickly ignored it and opened the message, immediately regretting her decision.
The message said “Hope you have a good meditation with General Skywalker, do concentrate ;)”. Underneath of it was a blurred picture. When she clicked on it the entire picture got revealed. It showed Rex laying on his bed. He had removed his armor, giving her a full view of his naked torso. The muscles of his arms were tensed, making Ahsoka feel the urge to touch them. But that wasn’t what made the picture so…special. Rex hadn’t just removed the upper part of his armor, he had removed everything, including his Blacks that were now hanging between his thighs, giving her a full view of his dick. He had one hand wrapped around his fully erected member.
Ahsoka frantically looked around her, hoping that no one was around and could have possibly seen the picture she was just starring at. When she realized no one was around, she turned her attention back to it. She felt a warm filling her lower regions, while staring at the massive cock in Rex’s hand. Part of her wanted to just turn around, run to him and do all kinds of things with him instead of just looking at that stupid picture. But she couldn’t. She had to meet Anakin and didn’t have any time for more distractions. And Rex had known that when he sent her that picture.
She didn’t know when or how she was going to get back at Rex for this, but she knew that she would do it. To her surprise when would come a lot sooner than she expected.
“Snips? What’s up with you today? You’re not focused at all.”
“I’m sorry, Master. I will concentrate more.”
Anakin sat opposite to her, both of them with their legs crossed. Ahsoka’s hands rested on her knees as she straightened her shoulders and took a deep breath in. She closed her eyes, trying to focus on her meditation again. But as soon as she did that, the image of Rex with his dick in his hand appeared in her mind, making it impossible for her to concentrate on her meditation. Despite trying her best, Anakin quickly realized she still wasn’t focused.
“Ahsoka! You need to take this more seriously. It’s important for a Jedi to stay focused and not get distracted. Do you understand?”
“Yes, Master. I’m sorry.”
For a moment she actually believed that she was able to concentrate, when her mind wandered back to the image of Rex. She felt like she could feel his lips on her skin again and got lost in her memory of what he’d done earlier.
When Anakin noticed her being distracted this time, she didn’t just get a little lecture. Instead, she would have to do night watch for the next week. She hated night watch. It was so boring, nothing ever happened and despite there being some other guards, they were all in different parts of the base, meaning she was mostly on her own.
After her lesson ended, she was heading to the bridge, hoping to find Rex there. If he was going to put her in such a position, he could at least finish what he started. Unfortunately, it turned out that he wasn’t there. One of the soldiers informed her that Rex and a small squad had been sent out with Anakin to explore the area. At first, she was disappointed to find out he wasn’t there to help her with the problem he caused, when she realized that this was actually a great opportunity to get some revenge.
Their ship had landed some clicks away from the base. The territory around the base was safe and this was just a routine mission to see if there was any danger in the larger area around. Before leaving the ship, Rex was briefing his man on what each of their individual responsibilities would be. He just finished his speech and was about to collect his things like the rest of the men and the general, when he heard his datapad beeping.
Noticing that it was Ahsoka who had sent him a picture, he immediately felt like this was going to be a payback for what he did earlier. But despite knowing that what he would see, would probably take all of his attention until he saw her again, he still opened the message, after making sure that no one else could see it.
“Good luck on the mission, Rexter, hope that mission doesn’t take to long.”
After taking a look at the picture that she sent, Rex was hoping that this mission wouldn’t take long too. His jaw dropped a bit when he looked at it for the first time. He had expected that she would tease him a bit. Maybe send him a picture of her boobs or herself in underwear. She usually didn’t send pictures of herself that showed too much, but this time was different.
The picture showed her entire body, not just part of it. Every single piece of her clothes was gone, revealing her most private parts to him. Her head was leaned back and her mouth wide open as if she was moaning. A quick look between her wide spread legs revealed why she was moaning. Ahsoka had shoved two of her fingers inside of herself and even on the picture Rex could see how wet she was.
His mind immediately created an image of her pumping those fingers in and out of her tight pussy, slowly at first, but getting faster and faster with every pump. The entire time she would be moaning his name, wishing that he would just take her. He already felt a bulge forming under the hard plastaroid, when another message appeared.
“Too bad you weren’t here to finish what you started.”
When Rex left the ship, all he could think about were Ahsoka’s messages. If he was still on the base, he could be taking her right now. He wouldn’t just have to think about the wetness between her legs, but could instead taste it on his lips. He could see her boobs jumping up and down, squeeze them, lick them, suck them. He could hear her moans, asking him for more and he would gladly fulfil all of her wishes.
For the rest of the mission Rex wasn’t nearly as focused as he usually was. His mind constantly wandered back to the image of her pleasing herself, making him forget his surroundings. Kix had to ask him a couple of times if anything was alright, but Rex just tried to play it off. One time he was so distracted that he tripped over a root on the ground, knocking Jesse down with him.
“Rex, I don’t know what’s making you lose concentration today, but you need to sort things out. You’re acting worse than Ahsoka. I really don’t know what’s up with the two of you today.”
The general looked at him with a look of confusion and disappointment. Rex came up with a quick apology, assuring that it wouldn’t happen again. This was going to be a long mission.
With the sun setting, Ahsoka’s night watch had begun. She had now been standing in the same corridor for almost two hours and she really couldn’t think of anything more boring than this. Sometimes her gaze wandered longingly to the room, in which she and Rex had been making out earlier that day. What an irony that Anakin had assigned her to guard this exact corridor.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps coming forwards her. All of her alarm bells started ringing and she was ready to fight whoever was coming near her. But when she saw who was coming, she just stood there completely puzzled.
“Rex? What are you doing here?”
“I was about to ask you the same question.”
“Anakin decided that I should be on night watch for the next week, after I couldn’t concentrate during meditation, due to some very mysterious circumstances.”
A laugh erupted from his throat, making Ahsoka glare angrily at him, her arms crossed before her chest.
“This isn’t funny! This is all your fault. Are you happy of what you did?”
“I’m not laughing because of this. Well, at least not only because of it. It’s always good to know what kind of impact such a picture can have on you. I wish I would have been there to see it.”
Another angry glare from Ahsoka made him quickly continue.
“I’m laughing, because after you sent me this absolutely beautiful and stunning picture of yours,” his eyes quickly wandered up and down her, giving her a small smile, “I had some trouble concentrating as well. And after the Skywalker realized this, he decided that I should be on night guard this week as well, making sure everyone is staying at their assigned position.”
Ahsoka unfolded her arms from her chest, looking at him baffled, trying to comprehend what he just said.
“Wait, so we’re both got each other in trouble and ended up being put on watch as a punishment?”
“Yes, I guess Skywalker didn’t want to come up with a new idea, so he decided to just use your punishment for me as well,” he grabbed her waist pulling her closer to him, “But considering that I can pretty much choose, where I’m going to be and can stay with you for a while if I want it’s not that much of a punishment. After all I take my task really seriously. I’m supposed to make sure everyone is in the right position and right now, I think you should be in a lot of different positions.”
“Fair point,” Ahsoka giggled and pulled him down for a kiss. Rex’s hands rested on her ass, pulling her up and carrying her into the small room.
Soon their clothes were spread all over the floor. Rex hands were groping her tits, before he started sucking on them. He left small marks all over them, as he licked and bit the soft flesh. When he started playing with her nibs, rolling them between his fingers and flicking his tongue over them, she threw her head back and let out a lustful scream.
One of his hands let go of her breasts and went between her legs instead. Ashoka moaned, when he pushed a finger inside her. His thumb played with her clit, only making her moan louder. He soon added a second finger, both of them now pushing inside of her. When he hooked his fingers, he knew that he had hit just the right spot, after she started screaming louder and louder. He could feel her getting wetter with every push.
Ahsokas nails grabbed Rex for support. With both the stimulation of her clit and g-spot she wouldn’t last any longer. She moaned his name, when the first orgasm of that night hit her. Her walls tightened around his fingers and she leaned onto him as her orgasm slowly wore off.
While he kept spoiling her, her hand wandered to his dick and began to stroke it. He was so thick that she had problems wrapping her hand entirely around him. She pumped him with one hand, while the other played with his balls. His groans send shivers through her chest and she quickened her pace.
Before he knew what was happening, she was already down on her knees and taking him in her mouth. Rex grabbed the top of her head, while he moaned her name. Her hand was still striking the bottom of his cock, while she took him in deeper every time she pushed down on him. She could feel her gag reflex, when she took him in almost completely, but before she could back away, she felt Rex hand on her head, pushing her down deeper on him. His cock was now fully down her throat, when he loosened his grip and she could move her head up again. As she did so, her tongue played with the vein on the downside of his dick, making him moan her name again. She took in a deep breath, once he was out of her mouth again. She played with his tip and placed kisses on his dick, while she still tried to regain her breath.
“You’re amazing,” Rex’s fingers brushed over her cheek, while she looked up at him, smirking, knowing what would come next. Then he slapped his cock against her cheeks a couple of times, “Now be a good girl and take it back in.”
Another slap with his cock. Ahsoka opened her mouth and took him in again. She moved faster this time, but soon felt his hips moving as well, trying to push deeper inside her. She was sure that he would cum soon and was ready to swallow, but then he withdrew himself from her. He helped her get up, leaned closer and whispered to her: “Turn around.”
She did and rested her hands on the wall for support, while he thrusted into her from behind. His hand went around her, so that he could play with her clit while he fucked her. At the same time his other hand went back to squeezing her tits. Both of the soon ended up screaming and moaning each other’s names. Rex’s grip on her tightened, when his cum splashed inside her. His movements on her clit made cum in almost the exact same moment as well.
They both stood there for a while, trying to catch their breath. When Ahsoka turned around, Rex grabbed her face and kissed her intensively as they just held each other.

Sharp and Glorious Thorn (1/9)
Summary:
She was given a Prince Consort to end an eight-year war. He was the second son of the Manda’lor, the beloved prince of House Fett.
The Commander.
She asked for this. He did the same. It was as if this wasn’t the person who sliced his axe through her armour like melted butter, or how she destroyed his chances of an easy winter with that leg.
When they were brought together as allies in this new age, she could have sworn the ghosts of their ancestors howled with rage.

Rexsoka Week 2022, Day 1:— Trope: Revenge; Prompt: Rebels
Notes: Happy Rexsoka Week 2022! Please enjoy this mess <3
This was what she saw.
First, fresh white lilies lined up the halls.
They were beautiful, carefully picked by the best of their gardeners, and they bloomed spectacularly for her alone.
Then came the rich red runner, rolled out from the giant wood and steel doors that weighed heavily in its latch to the elevated throne that sat at its end. The narrow carpet was swept, washed, and resewed with the finest thread they own until it glinted under the glowing streaks of pure morning sunlight.
There was a rostrum, benches, a low platform; when the time came, they would start filling them with people who were paid to do the same bidding they had been vowed to comply with from the very moment they stepped into this space. They’d follow instructions, those that they were best with, to run through each tune and tone with the same vigour as breathing.
This was what she saw.

My Rexsoka Week 2022 Stories on AO3
I'm just gonna list the AO3 links here. Five of my submissions are stories, but Days 4 and 7 are drawings. I hope you check them out!
Day 1: R-trope: revenge, prompt: rebels
Day 2: E-E-trope: everyone can see it, prompt: even after all this time
Day 3: X-trope: fiX it, prompt: eXile
Day 4: S-trope: soulmates, prompt: seduction
I drew this last year. This is Rex doing the ol' smolder look—from that moment on the LAATi with Ahsoka in "Old Friends Not Forgotten." It's a loose fit for the trope/prompt, but he's looking at his soulmate, after all...and as for the seduction part...*gulp* erm, yeah. Smolder stare. Need I say more?
Day 5: O-trope: only one bed, prompt: oblivious
Day 6: K-trope: kidnapped, prompt: kiss (accidental, first, last, etc)
Day 7: A-trope: AU, prompt: anything at all
Another one I drew last year. It's an AU where they never separated after TCW. I had fun with designing the different headgear for Ahsoka.

With just an hour to spare before day 4 is over I give you the musings of Rex and Ahsoka and the subtle way they get to each other.
Seduction
The Clones all had a bit of a obsession with their armor, some going as far as to prefer it to any other clothing or apparel. Ahsoka had not understood at first but over the years she began to develop her own appreciation for a clones Armor, or more specifically her Captain and how well he wore it. Her favorite was when Rex would strip down to his backs shirt but leave the bottom half of his armor on, giving her the ability to admire the skin tight synthetic suit stretching over his chest and arms, frankly amazing how it contained so much muscle with popping a seam, but she also got the beautiful visual of Rexs DC17s hanging loose on his hip an upper thigh. Honestly he should not be allowed to walk around like this, any the way he was currently sitting in the mess hall, on the bench his back to the table arms propped behind him legs splayed out and head tilted back laughing at a something fives said. It’s like he is trying to seduce her!
Rex was trying his best to pay attention to Fives story but it was not a simple task with Ahsoka sitting there with her damn training clothes still damp from sweat clinging to her body in all the right places. The top was the worst part, it wasn’t even a top really, it was a athletic top that both framed her cleavage in a way that wasn’t overtly inappropriate but showed just enough that when coupled with the cropped style showing a good amount of Ahsokas midriff and the leggings that just hugged her legs like a glove, Force, it was almost like she was trying to seduce him.
Really shocked that I am posting at all today, I am amazed by myself and also afraid for my sanity!

A Hangover Cure
Pairing: Rexsoka
Prompt: Rexsoka Week '22 - Day 7 - AU / Anything
Summary: After Rex finds Ahsoka drunk at 79's, it forces him to come to terms with how he really feels.
Tags: language, drunkeness, angst
Word Count: 4,441
A/N: What a great Rexsoka Week!! I was so glad to be able to participate and read everyone else's work! Thank you to those that read what I had to contribute <3
read on ao3! / rexsoka week '22 masterlist
Rex ground his teeth. The rush of blood in his veins made his ears pound as the air taxi neared the bar. He leaned into the headrest, staring up at the roof of the vehicle, exhaling loudly. It smelled offensively of death sticks. He drummed his fingers against the seat, chewing on the information he’d received from Kix.
“Commander Tano is at 79’s with us. Might want to come and get her.”
This was annoyingly typical of the boys. He hasn’t had a single off-duty period in over a year that didn’t involve him getting pulled down to the Uscru District at least twice to do this very thing. Of course he’d be summoned yet again to fetch someone from the clone bar.
It was always the same.
Jesse is stumbling and slurring his words, we need you to come get him. Fives started a bar fight with a clone from a different legion, we need you to come get him. Hardcase has started to remove his armor, we need you to come get him.
This time around, it was Commander Tano. He should’ve been surprised, but the men could be very persuasive. He couldn’t always dodge their incessant pleading for him to grab ‘just one drink’ with them. His chest rose and fell with deep, ragged breaths. Kix had failed to divulge the extent as to why the Commander needed to be picked up or why she was present.
Although, her being there in the first place was plenty of reason to get him to abandon the mission report and rush down here.
The driver suddenly laid on the breaks, breaking Rex away from his thoughts.
“Why are we stopped?” he questioned, looking to where 79’s was on the corner up ahead.
“Can’t see it well enough, but looks like a crash up ahead,” the driver answered, his Trandoshan rasp dragging.
Rex pursed his lips and huffed, “Let me out here. I’ll walk. Meet me at the bar up there and wait.” He opened the speeder door and stepped out, placing a few extra credits in the man’s hand. Rex inhaled the evening air, the death stick smell less potent than before. He squared his shoulders and made a beeline for the establishment, already seeing several copies of his own face lingering outside. The bar was busy tonight. He clenched his jaw as he waded past them to get inside, wondering which moof-milker had the bright idea to bring their Commander here.
The Captain managed to pass the threshold after a bit of difficulty, and started for their usual booth in the back. He caught sight of the signature 501st blue between the dancing bodies on the floor and swarm of customers at the bar. It was Kix.
“Rex!” the medic called, “I was looking for you. What took so long?”
Rex raised his voice to be heard over the thumping of the music, “Traffic. There’s a speeder crash right outside. Where is she? Is she alright?”
Kix offered him a few pats to the shoulder and pointed with his free hand, “Over at our table. She’s alright… She’s just a little…”
Rex gave him a look filled with both helpless concern and anger.
“She’s fine, Rex! As soon as I got here and saw her with the boys, I sent for you,” Kix hurried out, thrown off by the Captain’s change in tone. He never acted this way when it was just one of the boys that he was picking up.
“She’s just a little what, Kix?” Rex repeated his brother's earlier words.
The medic diverted his attention to where his drink sat on the bar, “She’s just a little inebriated.”
Rex’s eyes blew wide, eyebrows raising and pinching together, “Kix! She’s the Comman一”
“I know, Rex. Just escort her back. If I knew ahead of time, I wouldn’t have let it happen.”
Sighing in defeat, Rex gave him a nod of appreciation and, in return, Kix extended him a sympathetic smile. The blonde stood up straight and made his way to the table littered with empty drinks, catching sight of the tips of Ahsoka’s montrals. Her silka beads were bouncing with her laughter as he approached the group from behind. Hardcase was faced towards him, and was the first to see the less-than-pleased Captain.
“Dank farrik,” the clone coughed, attempting to quietly warn the rest of the boys. Rex knew it was supposed to be a hushed caution, but had come out louder in the man’s intoxication.
“Boys,” Rex started, and each head whipped around to face him, red and all caught in their blatant defiance. Ahsoka quickly sat her glass down, pushing it away from her with her fingers and tapping them against the table as if Rex hadn’t just watched her do it. He crossed his arms, “Anyone care to explain to me why Commander Tano is here?”
They’d all been laughing as he walked over, but were now straight-backed and tight-lipped, afraid to say the wrong thing and piss him off. Rex took a seat next to Hardcase and rested one arm on the table, letting his hand dangle off the edge cooly. He gave Hardcase a look that could kill.
“S-sir, Captain… Rex,” the flustered man slurred, “We didn’t expect you here tonight.”
“Clearly,” the Captain seethed, eyeing the rest of them. Ahsoka held one arm with her hand, looking down at her lap. He cleared his throat, “Jesse?”
The man bit his cheek, swirling the drink in his glass, “Rex. Apologies Captain, I should’ve sent for you. I, er…” Jesse’s eyes briefly cut over to where Fives was sitting.
Ah. He had a culprit.
Rex turned his attention to the vod responsible, “Fives, you know一”
“Yeah, I know what the General said,” Fives hiccuped, “But she’s always been a kid. She grew up on the b-battlefield, Rex! I just wanted her to have som-something normal for once now that she’s a bit older!”
The table went quiet with Fives’s reasoning, everyone sitting there knowing he was right, anticipating the Captain’s response.
Rex set his jaw and swallowed, “Fives, it’s not your place to disagree. If Skywalker finds out, it’s not just your head. It’s yours, mine, and hers.”
Fives sat back, overpowered and too drunk to fight his Captain any further. On past nights, he’d not been so reserved, always arguing with Rex to not take whichever brother it was back to the barracks. Fives would laugh and joke and follow them out to the air taxis, fumbling over his words and tripping on his feet.
Not tonight.
Rex turned his accusatory gaze to Ahsoka, “Get up. We’re leaving.”
The young Jedi met his glowering amber eyes once before looking right back down, mumbling to Fives. The guilty vod shuffled out of their booth to let her by. She took a minute to regain her balance and Rex held her by the shoulder, pressing her into his side for her stability.
Fives gestured towards her sullenly, “See ya ‘round, kid.”
“We had fun with you, Commander,” Jesse called.
Rex walked her away, back through the crowd of drinkers and dancers towards the door. He kept a slow pace to allow her to make the proper steps, watching her closely as they went. Rex was upset with her, but he wouldn’t deliberately punish her by making her trip. Kix ran up behind them, still sober, and walked them out. The modest medic hovered over the side of Ahsoka that Rex wasn’t on, shielding her from the more rowdy customers. He cleared his throat to speak once they made it back outside. Coruscant was never quiet, especially at night, but they could at least reasonably hear one another now.
“She’s gonna be fine. Just might feel pretty lousy when morning comes. Leave her with some painkillers and make sure she hydrates,” Kix assisted, clapping Rex on the back. He smiled at her before turning away, “I’ll drop by in the morning. See how you’re feeling.”
Ahsoka only nodded in return and Kix jogged back inside. Rex searched for his earlier taxi, the mess of police lights still not having died down. He grumbled and looked down at her, “With all due respect Commander, what were you thinking?”
The drunk girl shuffled her feet, still refusing to look at her Captain. She could see his irritated expression out of her peripheral and bit her cheek, stifling the laughter that started to bubble in her lungs.
Rex furrowed his brows, his voice deepening, “Are you laughing? Commander, do you know how reckless this stunt was? You disobeyed Skywalker’s direct一”
“I kn-know! I know I did, okay?” the Togruta interjected, throwing her hands up and finally turning her head to face him. She watched as his jaw flexed, his face turning a few shades darker. That time, she did start to laugh.
“It’s one thing when it’s the boys, but you know better,” he scolded, knowing her to have once been a spunky and careless Padawan. She’d outgrown all that, grown into a mature young woman that even taught him things at times. He was severely disappointed in her tonight.
Her body shook with laughter, unable to take him seriously with his cheeks so flushed. Rex was never angry with her, it just simply never happened. Ahsoka didn’t know how to swallow that, so she found it… hilarious.
She huffed at him and he gripped her shoulder tighter, “Is that kriffing Tihaar on your breath?”
Rex was enraged now. Not only had the boys gone and gotten her intoxicated, they’d given her the strongest ale they possibly could have for her first alcoholic drink — the Mandalorian stuff. Tihaar was Rex’s own drink of choice and it was strong enough to knock him on his ass after two glasses.
“S-so what if it is?” she confirmed, eyes glazed over, still giggling to herself.
“You could’ve gotten hurt. You shouldn’t play with that stuff,” he replied through his teeth.
They watched as the police vehicles sped away, flashing lights coloring their skin. The entire crash had now been cleared, two speeders hauled off, and no sign of his driver when the traffic finally cleared. Great. This night has shaped up to be just perfect. Rex fished more credit chits out of his pocket, counting what he had on him. He stepped closer to the flow of traffic and hailed an air taxi.
“Don’t take me back to the Temple, Rex,” Ahsoka rushed out when a yellow speeder stopped in front of them.
He looked down at her, all half-lidded and worried, “We are going back to the Temple and you’re going to sleep the alcohol off.”
Ahsoka continued to argue, “No. Not yet… J-Just let me regain-n some composure first. If anyone sees…”
“Then where am I supposed to take you?”
There was a pregnant pause as Ahsoka began to fiddle with the edge of her blue dress, “For food?”
Rex rolled his eyes and shook his head, holding onto the door of the speeder and yanking it open, “Get in.” He waited for her to get settled, holding onto her arm to make sure she did so without injury. He followed in behind her and told the driver to head for Dex’s.
They sat in silence for a while, Rex steaming in his own tangle of thoughts while Ahsoka’s head lolled with the movements of the vehicle. He looked over at her. She was quite amused with her drunken state, petting the seat of the taxi and softly giggling at how her lekku tingled. Rex shook his head, “I should be finishing a mission report right now.”
Ahsoka bit her lip, “Oh... And now, you had to come get me?”
Her choice of words made him roll his eyes. He wasn’t enthralled with this in the slightest. She couldn’t handle her alcohol, the boys made one hell of a move tonight, the traffic had made him late, that mission report was due in the morning, and now they had to go get her some food to sober up.
“Yes. I had to come get you because the boys were being a bunch of di’kuts and brought their commanding officer to a bar.”
“Di’kut,” she repeated, emphasizing the last syllable with the tip of her tongue on her teeth.
Rex’s eyes softened, “It means idiot.”
Ahsoka ceased her fidgeting and hiccuped, “I’m th-the idiot.”
“No. You’re not an idiot,” Rex retorted without hesitation.
“Yes I am. I’m the one… I ak-asked them to take me.”
The blonde didn’t know what to say to that. Of course he didn’t think she was a di’kut, but if he attempted to rescind his statement she’d notice. She always noticed. He sighed, trying to be more calm with her, “Why would you ask them to take you to 79’s?”
Ahsoka sat up, attempting to manage a bit of sobriety, “All I ever do is fight in this war, Rex. Just like you do. All of us… do. You get to come here and blow off st-steam and I… I never stop. I n-never stop going. I wanted a normal night… with my friends.”
He felt so defeated, unsure how he could continue to be upset with her. He knew he couldn’t. She was a Jedi. Half of her normal was something he’d never know about. Rex never thought about what her off-duty time actually consisted of, just assumed she got the same leisure that he did. She had passed the drinking age and never celebrated the way he and the boys did when they ‘passed’ it. Her first drink was tonight. She’d had namedays that went uncelebrated. There were events and milestones in her life that she didn’t get; just like him.
Rex looked at the tired Jedi, her eyes closed and no longer having fun in her intoxication, brows eaten up with worry.
“Come here,” he offered before he even realized it. He didn’t know how else to give her comfort in their dark, stuffy cab. Rex already felt bad for scolding her, accidentally insulting her, and ruining her night.
Ahsoka’s eyes opened, readjusting to the dim lighting and searching him for further confirmation. He gestured with his hand for her to move closer and she complied. She moved over to where he sat and he resumed his hold on her shoulder, pressing his fingers into her skin to give her a sense of solace. The hazy Jedi fingered at the plates covering his abdomen, “What was your first drink, Rex?”
He laughed at her innocent question, knowing that the whole story held much more than she could appreciate tonight, “You really wanna know?”
Big blue eyes lit up, their usual sparkle returning. She nodded.
Her Captain sighed, “Agh… Everyone else’s was the night of graduation from Kamino. It usually is anyway. So, after my first successful battle… They took me back there to 79’s and I had one too many Fizzbrews. I was trying to keep up with Cody… Huge mistake.” Rex laughed at himself, reliving the embarrassing, but fond memory.
“Well, what happened?”
“I’ll tell you in the morning,” he promised, having a bit of hope she’d want to spend more time with him like this again. Ahsoka’s eyes twinkled, a laugh escaping her anyway. Rex’s gaze lingered on her a bit too long before he forced himself to look back at the Coruscanti night traffic. He’d had similar attractions to his Jedi not too long ago — attractions and feelings he thought he was able to suppress.
“When was your first kiss?”
Rex scoffed, “I hardly think that’s appropriate, Commander.”
Ahsoka rolled her eyes, sitting up, “None of this is appropriate, Captain.”
Her throwing his formal title into the mix made him realize that she had a point. Him picking her up from the bar, drunk, to prevent Skywalker from knowing was inappropriate. Him being alone with her off-duty was inappropriate. His men and countless other men seeing them take an air taxi in the opposite direction of the Temple… inappropriate. Him holding her closer than he should’ve and that longing feeling returning in his chest when he observed her… as inappropriate as it gets.
Rex pressed his tongue to the roof of his mouth, gathering the courage to tell her and hoping this was something she’d forget by tomorrow, “Never.”
Her mouth fell agape, “Never? Rex, you’ve never had your first kiss?”
He shouldn’t have felt embarrassed, but he did, “Just never had the time.”
“Fives tells me all about his romantic exploits… and otherwise,” she winked, snickering to herself.
“He shouldn’t be doing that.”
“And you should put yourself out there,” she retorted playfully.
Rex didn’t like being put on the spot, opting to turn it back on her, “Oh and I suppose you’re omitted from this? When was your first kiss?”
She lifted her chin into the air, “It was a few years ago if you must know.”
That hurt more than he thought it would. He only asked her because he knew — or thought he knew — that she’d never kissed anyone. She was a Jedi.
“And?”
Ahsoka’s smug expression fell at that, “And it… It wasn’t my… It was decided for me.”
Rex’s jaw set and Ahsoka’s mouth went dry. His eyes darkened and his face was now inches from hers, “It was decided for you?”
She smiled quickly to rid the uneasiness she’d created, “I’ll tell you in the morning.”
“That should never have happened, Ahsoka. I’m so sorry,” he apologized. Had it been on a mission he was on? Was it off-duty? Could he have prevented it? Was it a fellow Jedi? Who did this to her?
He hadn’t meant to use her given name. It wasn’t what he often chose to say, as using it over her title felt out of place. Her name felt foreign on his tongue and made his mouth buzz. Rex knew that if she were sober, she’d have noticed the way it fumbled from his mouth.
“It’s alright. It’s a long story. I promise to tell you all of it when I’m more able.”
For now, Rex had to accept it. The feeling made him feel sick, like he’d failed at a job he didn’t know he had. He didn’t know if he could forgive himself for the oversight.
The speeder pulled up at Dex’s Diner and Rex handed the driver and forked over a few credits, thanking him for the transport. He stepped out of the taxi and held a hand out for Ahsoka. She took it with a gentle touch and was only slightly wobbly in her exit.
“Let’s get you some food, Commander.”
Ahsoka sat in the seat in front of him, not giving her plate a moment to breathe. Dex had long clocked out and gone home. They hadn’t gotten to see him, but the waitress took care of them well enough. He hadn’t ordered anything, but had ordered for Ahsoka at her request. He watched intently as she fed her intoxication until it started to dissolve. Rex also made sure that she had several glasses of water to hydrate herself. He knew the effects of Tihaar and didn’t want her to wake up with that pain when the sun rose.
She let out a satisfied moan, her utensil carefully placed in the middle of her dish, “Thank you, Rex. I don’t know how to repay you.”
He gave her his signature half smile, “Don’t worry about it, Commander. I don’t mind.”
Ahsoka beamed at him with clear eyes, “I think I’m good on the drinking for a while. That was intense.”
“Yeah,” he laughed lightly, “That’s one word for it.”
The WA-7 droid retrieved her empty plate and Ahsoka propped her elbows up on the table, holding her face in her hands, intently watching her Captain. She noticed how the corners of his eyes crinkled at her as he smiled back. “You know,” she began, “I asked Fives if he would bring you along. Just, earlier when I said I wanted a night with my friends, I wanted you to be there too.”
“I always turn them down,” he admitted.
“Fives said that. Why?”
He took a sip of his water, “It’s not really my scene. I’ve always got some sort of report or research to do anyway. I would’ve gone if I knew you were there.”
She processed his words, mulling over what he’d just divulged, “No you wouldn’t, you’d stop us from going.”
“Yes, I would.”
“Fives said that, too.”
He cocked an eyebrow, shrugging his shoulders, “He still wasn’t supposed to take you.”
She pursed her lips, “You don’t ever stop either, do you?”
Rex wasn’t expecting that. He exhaled, surprised at her observation. He’d spent the whole night feeling sorry for her that she rarely got a break even when she was on break. He had some leisure time, but it was at night when he had his own four walls and no disturbances, solid ground and actual gravity. “No, I suppose not,” he remarked.
Ahsoka had that mischievous smile plastered on her face.
“No. Whatever it is you’re thinking, it’s a no,” Rex hurried out.
Her lips parted in shock, “Come on, Rex. We need to live a little. What’s the most mundane thing you can think of that you haven’t done?”
Rex laughed, “Mundane? What do you want us to do? Go buy overpriced caf and get tickets to the Mon Calamari Aquatic Ballet?”
Ahsoka covered her mouth with her hands and snorted loudly, laughing so hard her eyes began to water. A few of the late night patrons gave her a look. Rex pressed his lips together in a line to stop from joining her and drawing even more attention.
“No, no. I was thinking more along the lines of getting you your first kiss,” she breathed between choked laughter.
Rex’s face hardened, “No, Commander. I think we should go ahead and get you back to the Temple.”
“I know we should… I’m just not ready to say goodnight to you,” she revealed, her voice more hushed. He was almost certain that the blue chevrons of her lekku darkened a shade or two.
He grinned at her, “Come on. Let’s find another taxi.” Rex rose from the booth and offered Ahsoka his hand again, which she took, and they exited the cozy diner. A speeder was already waiting for any exiting patrons and they hopped inside, heading back towards the capital. Ahsoka was a little further from him than she’d been in the last taxi, no longer needing him for comfort or support. She crossed her legs, peering out the viewport at the nightlife.
“Rex,” she whispered and he glanced down at her, “I had fun with you tonight. Thank you for taking care of me. I’m sorry if I put you behind on your reports.”
“It’ll be fine, Commander, don’t worry about any of that. I’ve turned them in the morning after several times before and it’s never been a big deal,” he reassured her.
She offered him a kind smile and clasped her hands, returning her attention to the passing speeders.
A knot formed in his throat, that feeling returning again. Try as he might, it never stayed down for long. It always resurfaced stronger before, taunting him for thinking he could control it. In truth, she was the only woman he’d ever loved, the only one he’d want to kiss. No other lifeform compared to her, in beauty, in soul, in anything. No one had ever caught his eye or made him forget her. Ahsoka was who he would choose and who he chose time and time again, even if it wasn’t who he should’ve.
Ahsoka being at 79’s brought out a sense of protection in him, unlike how it was in the midst of battle. It begged him to realize how he felt. Of course he’d drop everything and go after her. Of course he’d take the hit of a late report. Of course he’d take her to get food instead of back to the Jedi Temple.
Of course he’d made every wrong decision when it came to her. He shelved away every warning and caution that popped up in his head, swallowing them down and promising to face them tomorrow.
The knot in his throat bobbed, his mouth going dry, “Ahsoka…”
She looked at him, neon lights reflecting in his eyes, pupils huge and yearning. Now fully sober, she could sense his emotions through the Force, aware that whatever he was about to ask her wasn’t something a Jedi should do. She could tell by the way his dry lips quivered and fell slightly agape that he’d changed his answer. She could tell by the way his heart hammered in its cage that he wanted it to be her. She wanted it to be her, too.
Ahsoka moved in, lessening the space between them and brought a hand up to his face, feeling the fresh stubble on his jaw. Amber eyes explored hers, waiting for an answer. Her thumb ran along his bottom lip, feeling him shudder before she pulled his lips onto hers in a searing kiss. Rex sighed into her mouth, hands coming up to hold her lekku.
She broke from the kiss and turned her focus to the driver, “Take us to the barracks instead.”
Rex was breathing heavily when she looked back to him and she bit her lip. He nodded rapidly and pulled her back into him, raining his emotion over her. Every kiss he drank in was his absolute yearning, craving, and need for her.
The speeder pulled into the back of GAR Headquarters by the barracks. The two exited the vehicle and Rex handed over the rest of his credits. Ahsoka smoothed her dress and walked with him past the guards as if they hadn’t both just forsaken the boundaries of their established positions. Together, they made for the designated area for the 501st. Once the large doors closed behind them, they were met with a dark and quiet room. Everyone had gone to bed. It was past lights-out. Rex wrapped a strong arm around her back, bringing her to him and feverishly kissing her once again, walking her backwards to his door.
His door slid shut and closed them inside, free from any leering eyes, free from their responsibility, and any painful reminder of what they shouldn’t be doing. With all of that forgotten, Ahsoka and Rex proceeded to make all the wrong choices. At least, that’s what Kix went to bed thinking after he’d watched his Captain and Commander disappear behind Rex’s door.

A kiss at the beginning
His hands were on her cheeks, caressing her tenderly as his lips touched hers. It was perfect. She never wanted this moment to end. Her stomach tingled as she snuggled closer to him. The way their lips and bodies joined felt so natural, as if they were two halves of a greater whole.
As they kissed, she wondered when she had last been so happy, but she didn't know. He gave her support, comfort, safety and security. Even in the darkest hours, while they were hiding from the Empire and fighting an apparently hopeless fight, he made her smile. He was the light that helped her through the darkness.
She had never thought it possible that he would return her feelings, but he did. Every single kiss was a confession of love. I love you, Ahsoka. That night was the first time he proved it to her in this way, but thousands more confessions of love followed over the years.
A kiss of concern
"Be careful."
"I always am."
Ahsoka watched as Rex attached his blasters to his belt. He turned to her and looked into her worry filled eyes. She was used to him going on missions without her, just like she did without him. Yet she was worried sick every time. What if something happened to him? She wouldn't be there to help him. Or to say goodbye. She banished the last thought from her mind. No. Nothing would happen to him.
Her hands reached out to pull him closer for a heartfelt kiss. The two of them stood there, tightly embraced. He would have to leave eventually, but at that moment it didn't matter. Nothing around them mattered. As long as she kissed him nothing would happen to him and if she could have, she would have kept kissing him forever.
A kiss full of lust
His mouth roamed over her body, kissing every imaginable spot. She pulled him up to her and kissed him. Her legs were wrapped around his waist and their bodies melted into one. Their kiss was warm and wet. Her whole body was on fire. She wanted more. She wanted him. She desired him. Their tongues kept sliding into each other's mouths, exploring. Their bodies nuzzled together as they did not leave each other's side. She loved him. He loved her. And they proved it to each other with every new kiss.
A kiss to say goodbye
"You can't go."
"I have to go. It's not safe for you otherwise."
She was about to turn and leave when he grabbed her hand and held her back. One last time she turned to him and kissed him. She had to go. The Empire was hunting her, not him. With every second she was with him, she was putting him in danger and she loved him too much to put him in danger.
Hot tears ran down her cheeks as she kissed him. Every cell in her body screamed at her to stay. She needed him like she needed the air to breathe. Leaving him felt like leaving an important part of herself behind. And she did, for she left her heart with him.
A kiss of reunion
"Soka, I..."
He didn't finish the sentence. Before he had the chance her lips were on his. When they broke the kiss, he saw tears running down her face. They had done so before during their last kiss, but this time they were not tears of sadness, but tears of joy.
She had missed him more than she had ever thought possible. Every second that she didn't know how he was doing had been an endless agony. When she saw him again after all these years, it was as if a huge weight had been lifted from her shoulders. They had lost so many years, but now they would not part again. She would stay with him for the rest of her life.
A kiss at the end
She held his hand as he lay in bed. His condition had gone from bad to worse and she didn't know how to help him. So she just sat there, holding his hand and tried not to cry. That was not easy. Again and again she fought the tears, but she had to be strong. For him. He shouldn't be the one to comfort her.
She had thought they still had so much time. But she had underestimated how quickly he was ageing. It had never bothered her that he was physically older than he should be. She had loved him, still loved him, and his age didn't matter. But then he felt worse and worse and she had to face the cruel reality. The fact that he was ageing faster meant that he was getting closer to death every day. He might have survived battle after battle, a war and a rebellion, but old age was an enemy he could not defeat. And neither could she.
His breathing was getting shallower and she could sense that he didn't have much time left. She leaned down to him and kissed him one last time.
"I love you, Rex."
"I love you."
His hand held hers and his eyes looked into hers as the life slowly faded from them.
