Drumroll, please! The Rexsoka Week prompts have arrived. And how stunning is this High Republic era Rexsoka by @chocomars?!

These prompts are meant to spark creativity and give you freedom to create what you want! While we've included three for each day, there's no need to include all three in whatever you create. Feel free to pick the ones that speak to you! The most important thing is creating something Rexsoka that you love.

Rexsoka Week 2025, Day 1: AU-Supernatural/Paranormal.

Called on a special mission, Commander Rex and his men have been sent to a mysterious planet. The objective? To uncover mysterious disappearances and find a special object.

Strange vegetation, even stranger and more deadly fauna, whispers, apparitions: all this is what the soldiers must contend with to complete the mission. The situation becomes even more dangerous after the appearance of a mysterious woman, who demands their departure from the planet or else terrible things will happen...

I liked this premise so much that I might do more with this AU; unfortunately, I'm not good enough at writing to turn it into a fanfic. But if anyone is interested, please send me a message and we'll work together to see what comes out! <3

In an instant, her world is chaos. Everything obliterated in a swirling maelstrom of fire and blaster bolts. All that remains is the downward spiral, utter devastation made manifest by the debris of her former life raining down upon her, serving as both death knell and salvation as she catapults into the unknown, in search of Rex. When they land, it’s not on the solid ground of familiar territory but the cold, inhospitable surface of a desolate rock on the outskirts of an unknown system. That neither of them know where they are—a lack of direction both physical and metaphorical—feels fitting for the first steps of a new life that’s, frankly, entirely unwelcome.

Announcing Rexsoka Week 2025!

SAVE THE DATES! APRIL 13-19, 2025

Welcome to Rexsoka Week 2025! This is our chance to come together as a community for a week of joyful creativity, celebrating and appreciating Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex as a couple.

And, so you can help us create the best event, we’re asking for your input on the prompts (you can submit prompts AND you'll vote on your favorites)!

If your brain is already whirring with ideas, we LOVE it! For now, save these dates:

October 1-15: Your chance to influence our prompts! Submit as many prompts as you’d like through a form that'll be posted to this blog on October 1.

November 1-15: We’ll compile all the prompt suggestions into categories, and then you’ll have the opportunity to vote for your favorites/the ones that inspire you.

By December 7: The great unveiling of the prompts! Depending on how many prompts we get, we hope to have more than one prompt per day so you can be flexible on which one you select (if there’s one that speaks to you more).

In the meantime, be thinking of prompts to submit them on October 1. We can’t wait to see what you come up with. In the words of Ahsoka herself, we couldn’t ask for better soldiers, or better friends!

Rexsoka Week Guidelines

In the spirit of keeping things simple and focused on our favorite Captain and Commander, here are our event week guidelines:

We welcome sfw or nsfw art, fanfiction, headcanons, edits, drabbles, etc. We will not promote, reblog, or otherwise acknowledge AI art.

Please keep things positive and be respectful of one another. 

No ship hate or character bashing will be reblogged to this space.

As we draw closer to the event and your work is ready to post, keep these posting guidelines in mind: 

Tag @rexsokaweekofficial and use the hashtag #rexsokaweek2025 so we can find, link, reblog, and promote your content. We’ll promote and celebrate new Rexsoka content created for this 2025 event. 

For our friends uploading content on AO3, add your works to our Rexsoka Week 2025 Collection.  

Each prompt will be tracked using "Prompt: [prompt label]". We will also tag the work, e.g., "rexsoka fanfiction", "rexsoka fanart". At the end of each day, we will create a master list of the contributions, which we will add to a master list encompassing all content at the end of the week!

These prompts are meant to be evergreen – if you’re running a little behind, we’d still love to see it!

Are there any rules for content for rexsoka week?

We’ve just added our guidelines here and are keeping things simple!

While there are no specific content restrictions beyond AI, we encourage anyone creating for the event to tag their content appropriately. Ultimately you are responsible for your fandom experience. If there’s content you’d prefer to not see we recommend being mindful of tags and content warnings that the authors, artists, or creators place on the content they share.
