Note
For the mashup ask game:
If you're in the mood for an angsty one, could you have a go at 71 (24 hours to live) and 28 (proposal fic) please? Preferably involving Ahsoka?
If not, then maybe 79 (anger born of worry) and 54 (secret relationship) for Rexwalker/RexAniDala?
Not really sure on what you ship so if these don't work for you dw, honestly your writing is amazing so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ yeah
Fanfiction Trope MASH-UP: Send me two (2) tropes from this list + a ship and I’ll describe how I’d combine them in the same story.
This ask meme is from over a year ago. Please don't send new prompts.
Ahsoka 71. Twenty-Four Hours to Live   28. Proposal Fic
NGL having a bit of trouble with this one but I think this would have to be a mission fic.
Let's say Anakin's in trouble, sometime after the Wrong Jedi arc. He's been put in a Deadly Trap of the "room slowly fills with water" variety, and it's going to be too high in about 24 hours. IDK who put it together. Probably Maul, to fuck with Obi-Wan, because most of their enemies wouldn't use Anakin as bait in that way, they'd either go for a political hostage negotiation (Dooku), torture them personally (Ventress), or just straight up kill them (Grievous). Maul, however, would leave Anakin alone to get slowly dead in order to taunt Obi-Wan.
However, Obi-Wan can't get away to actually, you know, save Anakin. (Sheev rejected the request, in order to push that wedge of 'Obi-Wan doesn't really care about me' that he's been driving between Anakin and his Master.)
Instead, the clone of your choice is sent, and they find Ahsoka to help (or she finds them; maybe Maul decided to taunt her too? IDK). Rex is a good standby, but in this case I'm feeling like Fives or Echo might be better? Up to the reader.
So Ahsoka and her partner go off on the rescue mission. There are many near-misses. One, perhaps both, almost die at one point or another. There's a kiss and a confession.
They rescue Anakin, barely, and then rest on the floor, all of them covered in water and panting and very relieved that their General doesn't need mouth-to-mouth.
Clone of your choice leans over Anakin's body, grabs Ahsoka's hands, and asks her to marry him.
She's about to say yes, but--
"SERIOUSLY?! RIGHT OVER MY ALMOST-DEAD BODY? AT LEAST LET ME HUG MY PADAWAN FIRST." except with a lot more spluttering and cough, both from the Aghast Horror and the almost drowning.

To Rest
Day 19 ~ finding old messages ~ (Alt. Prompt)
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Word Count: 2685 because I am apparently incapable of writing little fics for these men Content: major character death, Cody's death, death from old age, Rex's death is mentioned, saying goodbye, 'in case I die' message, dinluke is mentioned don't at me, This is in the same au (guess it's an au now lmao) as day 11's Awake Now; I wouldn't say it's necessary to read that first, but it wouldn't hurt :)
Mando'a Guide: (there's a lot for this one) vode - siblings (brothers in this context, used to refer to the clones as a whole) ner riduur - my spouse Kote - glory; what I believe Cody's name was before it was misheard or simplified to Cody, and what he goes by in hiding ner jare'la alor - my reckless leader osik - dung/shit mesh'la - beautiful ner cyar'ad - my lover Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum - Mandalorian ritual, followed by the repetition of loved ones' names. "I’m still alive, but you are dead. I remember you, so you are eternal." ner tranyc al'verde - my sunny commander ner nepareyc jetii - my impatient jedi
A quick author's note: I do not ship Rexsoka - I see them as having a very sibling-like bond and that is what I briefly portray in this fic. I don't care if you do ship them, that's your business, but please do not claim that small portion of this fic for that ship. Much love and respect, 川💛

Ever since he’d met Cody, Obi-Wan knew their time would be limited.
He knew that one or both of them could easily die on the battlefield.
He knew that if they won the war, he’d go back to his council duties, and the Republic would do with Cody and his as it pleased.
He knew that if they lost, they’d both likely be executed.
Regardless, he knew that it was them. Every time he was near the man, it felt like the Force was crying out in pure joy. They could not truly be together, but they’d always promised each other that they would be. “After the war, Obi. After the war. I promise.”
But then the war did end. Neither faction seemed to win, but the Jedi Order–the closest thing Obi-Wan had to a family–lost, slain by the millions of soldiers who bore the same face, but such different, beautiful, unique, bright lights in the Force.
The vode betrayed the Jedi, but Obi-Wan knew now that it wasn’t their fault; the Sith had used their bodies like puppets, then discarded them once they were done playing with them.
Cody finding him on Tatooine had shaken him, violently. After all, if the Empire knew where he was, what was to stop them from finding Luke or Leia?
But Cody wasn’t here looking for him–or at least he didn’t know why he was here–but he found him all the same. And just like that, despite the time that had passed, it was them again. That magnetic pull never failed, and that sweet, whispered promise always held true.
Although Obi-Wan still felt the weight of grief on his shoulders, everything seemed less dismal with his husband. Ner riduur, as Cody always hummed in his ear.
Seeing Kote bring Obi-Wan–or Ben as he now went–out of the dark, lonely existence he’d subjected himself to, lightened Owen and Beru’s hearts, somewhat, as well. Ben and Kote were weekly dinner guests at the Lars homestead.
Kote would take odd jobs in Mos Taike, then he’d come home and continue his construction of their home.
They built a loving home within each other as well. Sure, they’d had their disagreements; they’d bicker, but ultimately, one would approach the other with tea and they’d simply talk like they always had.
It didn’t take long for time to catch up to them, however. The first clue was when Kote had slipped down the few stairs into their living room. He’d managed to catch himself on the wall, but his gait had never been quite the same since.
When Ben remarked on Kote’s waning agility, Kote snarked back “Next year we’re technically the same age, you know.”
His hearing went next. Ben had to raise his speaking volume more and more as the years passed. Kote would pretend he’d not been paying attention, or would simply agree when he didn’t hear everything Ben had said. After recording a holo of his louder and louder attempts to gain Kote’s attention, however, Ben was able to convince him to use a hearing aid.
Despite what it indicated, Ben couldn’t say Kote’s need for reading glasses truly bothered him. Kote would use it to his advantage, of course, putting them on even if he didn’t actually require them at the moment, just to see Ben squirm in his seat.
His hair eventually started to gray, although anytime Ben brought it up, Kote would just wave it off as it being “a delayed stress response from worrying about you, ner jare’la alor”.
The creases at the corners of his eyes and mouth deepened, his reaction times slowed, and he seemed to grow cold more easily, but the true sign was when he fell.
Kote had somehow–probably with the use of his reading glasses and that crooked smirk–convinced Ben that he would be fine to fight at Rex’s side on Endor. Ben cursed himself for agreeing to bring him to that battle.
“It’ll be just like old times, Obi,” he’d laughed. Ben smiled and snarked at him, pretending not to notice that Kote had again forgotten they’d been going by ‘Ben’ and ‘Kote’ since the end of the Clone Wars.
And then he’d been hurt. One lucky shot to his bad leg and he was down. He would use a repulsorlift chair for the rest of his life.
They were outside one night, Ben’s head resting on Kote’s knee, gazing up at the stars when Kote finally acknowledged what was happening to him.
“How are you feeling?” Ben asked.
Sort of…odd,” Kote answered.
“‘Odd’ how?”
“Think that advanced aging osik is catchin’ up to me, Obi,” he hummed.
“You think so?” Ben had answered. There was no sarcasm, no negativity in it.
“You know it is, mesh’la,” he’d chuckled. “I see the way you look at me sometimes.”
“I don’t–”
“When I forget, or when I can’t hear you,” Kote had continued, paying no mind to Ben’s protests as he carded his fingers through graying auburn hair. “You get that same look in your eyes like I’m gonna crumble to dust the second you touch me.”
Ben looked up at him, his wonderful, charming riduur. “It’s not that,” he said, pointedly ignoring the way his eyes began to well up. “I just–” he sighed. “Would you believe that I’m scared to lose you?” His hand gripped the fabric of Kote’s pants. “After all this time and everything we’ve been through, I can’t imagine being alone anymore.”
Kote hummed. “I’d believe it, though I doubt you’d ever be alone,” he answered after a moment. “Do you know what today is?”
Ben lifted his head to look up at him. His confusion and slight concern must have been written plainly on his face. Or, perhaps, Kote could read Ben’s expressions like they were his own.
“Humor me,” he chuckled.
Ben frowned. “Zhellday.”
Kote laughed, the soft sound coiling around Ben’s heart like it always had. “Well, yes, I suppose it is, but there’s something I find special about today.” He smirked at his husband, who in return, narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
“33 years ago, Commander CC-2224–also known as ‘Cody’–of the Grand Army of the Republic was assigned to the 212th Attack Battalion, under the command of Jedi Master General Obi-Wan Kenobi,” Kote said, his voice taking on a certain commanding air to it that Ben hadn’t heard in quite some time.
“Kote,” he smiled.
“33 years ago today, I walked onto the bridge of the Negotiator, scared out of my wits–”
“Oh, you were not.”
“I was! The only Jedi I’d ever met before that was General Ti!”
Ben laughed, despite that old heartache that never seemed to fade. “Oh, well I suppose that’s understandable then. Shaak was kind, but terrifying in all the right ways.”
“Exactly,” Kote grinned. “When I got to the bridge, I thought there must’ve been some kind of mistake.”
“Did you now?” Ben raised a brow, curious to see where this was headed.
“Oh definitely. I thought they were sending me out with a Jedi Master, not a youngling.”
Ben chuckled. “Please, ner cyar’ad. Flattery won’t get you very far with the state of my knees these days.”
Kote groaned. “It was worth a shot,” he snickered.
Ben rolled his eyes. “What did you really think?”
Kote’s mischievous grin faded into the same confident, trusting smile that had bewitched Ben all those years ago. “I thought I was the luckiest son of a bantha in the whole army.”
Ben laughed as they went back inside to their bed. They lay in each other’s arms, talking, laughing, and smiling until they nodded off to sleep.
When Ben awoke, he found that Kote had not. Ben had seen plenty of death in his long life, but he’d never seen anyone still smiling after they’d passed.
He’d wept for quite some time, holding Kote’s cold hand in his, laying soft kisses on his forehead. He was certain that he’d sat there for far longer than he should have. He needed to make arrangements. He had people to inform.
But he’d never given himself the time to grieve before. It had always been a luxury he could never afford.
His voice shook as he remembered those words they’d always uttered together. “Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum. Kote, ner tranyc al’verde.”
He sat almost perfectly still until somewhere around noon. He kissed his husband’s forehead one more time, before drawing their bedsheets over him once more.
His comm in hand, he struggled to find the strength to decide who to call first.
He looked back towards the bedroom where his riduur lay, and the realization washed over him. His husband was right; he’d never truly be alone.
The holo pinged a few times before a soft voice and smiling face came over the comm. “Master Obi-Wan,” Ahsoka hummed over the holo. “Are you okay?”
“I-I’m–” he mumbled. “It’s Ko– Cody.”
Realization stole over his old friend. “Oh, Obi-Wan,” she whispered. “I’m so sorry.”
“Do you–” he cleared his throat. “Do you still keep in contact with Rex? Is he…?”
“He passed on a couple days ago,” Ahsoka murmured. “At least they can walk with each other.”
Ben nodded. “How are you holding up? Were you there?”
“He called about a week ago,” Ahsoka nodded. “Said he felt odd. I got there and a few days later he passed in his sleep.”
“How strange,” he hummed. “Cody said something similar last night.”
“Clone thing, you think?” she said. Despite all her years, Ben could still hear that curious lilt in her voice, the one that he knew meant research and investigation.
“Who’s to say, dear one?” Ben smiled wearily as he watched her focus drift. “Ahsoka, do you keep frequent contact with Luke? I fear he will be devastated; Kote was always his favorite,” he sighed. “After ‘Auntie Soka’, of course,” he added.
“I just spoke with him yesterday. He was taking Din and Grogu to meet Owen and Beru,” she said.
“That should be quite interesting,” he mused. “I suppose I’ll tell him after he arrives then. I should contact Leia soon, though.”
“I’m certain she’ll be there in a heartbeat.”
Ben waved a hand in dismissal. “She’s quite busy now, I doubt she’ll have any time for me.”
Ahsoka gave him a look of disbelief. “Sure, Master. But are you–” she hesitated, biting her lip.
Ben eyed her holoimage, one brow raised.
“Are you going to tell him?” she finally asked.
Ben’s brow furrowed. “You know he doesn’t want to hear from me.”
“Master,” she said, her eyes glancing off to the side. “Maybe he needs you more than you think. Maybe you need each other.”
Ben was overcome with the feeling that she wasn’t only speaking to him. He decided against saying anything about it though. “I’m sure he has my comm number restricted. Perhaps you can relay the news as a favor to your old grandmaster?”
She chuckled but rolled her eyes. “I will, Master Obi-Wan. Please take care of yourself. Let me know if there is anything you need.”
“Thank you, Ahsoka,” he said, bowing his head. “Just hearing your voice helps.”
“May the Force be with you, Master.”
“You as well.”
Ben stared at the projector for a long moment before pressing in another number.
“Uncle Ben!” Leia smiled. “How have you been?”
He opened his mouth to answer but found the words caught in his throat.
Leia’s face fell. “When?”
Ben swallowed. “At some point last night. I woke up and…he was gone.”
“Okay,” Leia nodded. “Okay. I will be there–”
“Leia–”
“–in two days–no, probably three. Do you know where Luke is?”
“Ahsoka said he was en route to Tatooine regardless, but he doesn’t–”
“Good. He’ll be with you until I get there. Auntie Soka is coming, right?”
“I don’t think–”
“I’ll call and make sure.”
“Leia, I don’t think this is really necessary–”
“Uncle Ben, stop. You know we loved Kote,” she said, her determined scowl fading in favor of a sympathetic smile. “He was as much family to us as you are. We all want to be there for you, understand?”
“Yes, ma’am,” Ben said, an amused smile pulling at his lips.
“Three days, Ben,” she repeated. “I’ll be there.”
“Alright, Leia,” he nodded.
He ended the holo after she ran out of range, calling after her son, whom he’d been honored to have named after him, but was likely causing some sort of chaos. He was reminded of the child’s grandfather.
He’d lost track of all time, shortly after that. He went about the house, doing the tasks he’d normally do. He tended the few plants he’d kept in the hydroponic pots Kote had built him, ate the ration packs they’d have more and more with their increased age, napped on the couch, made himself a cup of tea–though he’d made far too much to begin with, unaccustomed to serving one–and decided to go through an old box Kote had stored away in the basement a few years back.
The sand and cobweb-covered container was relatively small. He couldn’t imagine what could’ve given it the weight it held. Perhaps it’s my age, he joked to himself. He wished he could hear the sardonic reply he was sure his husband would have given.
When he finally opened the box, he was somewhat surprised to see about a few data sticks.
He brought them up to their console. They were labeled with Kote’s regulation-perfect handwriting, with numbers. He found the one labeled ‘1’ and plugged it in.
Ben was almost startled as the holo-projector began to play. Standing before him was his husband, looking young, handsome, and healthy.
“Hello Ben,” he said, his smile soft and reassuring.
He’d almost forgotten what his riduur sounded like so long ago before time and age had begun to weigh into that warm baritone. With a start, Ben realized he’d probably recorded this sometime right around their wedding.
Holo-Kote chuckled. “Think we’d both be lying if we said we didn’t know what this was. One way or another, I’m gone. Maybe the Empire caught up with me or maybe we’ve had a long life together. Regardless, I hope you know that you… you are everything to me.
“I don’t know if I believe those old stories about ‘soulmates’, and even if I did, I’m not so sure clones like me would even have one, but I think–no, I know–that if I did, it’s you.
“You’re probably crying now,” Holo-Kote grinned, wiping his own budding tears away.
Ben touched his cheek. “Right as always, my dear,” he whispered.
“Anyway, I made this just to keep that stubborn brain of yours from believing anything but this; I love you, Obi-Wan Kenobi. I have from the moment I met you and I will never stop. I married you today and by the Maker, I will do anything and everything within my power to live up to the love you give me. I can only hope that by the time you watch this, I’ll have proven myself worthy of your love.
“I love you, Obi. And please never forget tha–”
“Kote?” Ben heard himself call from another room. “My dear, I believe it’s high time that you get in here and perform your husbandly duties.”
Ben couldn’t help but bark out a laugh at his younger self. He remembered that night well; Kote had, in fact, performed. He wiped his tears away on his sleeve.
“I’ll be right in, ner nepareyc jetii,” Kote smiled off to the side, he then looked back at the holo-recorder. “Maker, I hope the recorder picked that up. In case I don’t get the chance to tell you one last time before I go– you are the partner of my days, the companion of my heart, and the friend of my life. I love you, ner riduur. Goodbye… for now.”
The holo froze at the end, the image of his husband smiling as he pressed the button to end the recording would be etched in his heart for the rest of his days.

Note
you mentioned that you don’t ship rexsoka, do you support any of the other Jedi/clone ships?
Absolutely! we love the jedi/clone ships as long as they are both grown ups and it’s clear that they don’t have a specific family-like relationship.
please send me/tag me under everything you see with Codywan ~ Antoinette

Rexsoka. Yeah, it's my ship. Still.
I mainly just lurk here, reading fanfic and enjoying the memes. But the angst of the last few has given me the courage to dive in and say a few words.
First, let me clear the air: Rebels was when I started shipping Rexsoka. Prior to their reunion on that show, it had never ever occurred to me to ship them. Despite having read the novels.
So, yeah, look, I totally get the opposition to shipping early Clone Wars Rex and Ahsoka. She's a child. He's a child too, arguably, although his accelerated maturation makes everything super messy. The military structure and fact that Rex is basically a slave means its got power issues galore. Then for those in the US, there is the whole 18 year old age of consent thing (noting, for good or ill, it's 16 most other places). I get why this squicks people. It's the SanSan of Star Wars.
But people grow up. Even on TV.
Season 7 Ahsoka is 17 going on 18, and effectively an adult. She's commanded armies, and just spent a year living and working independently. She is also obviously mature and, frankly, animated that way. Rex is a long term friend, they love and care for each other, and by the end of the season, she basically risks everything for him, and he for her. The episodes are also written in a very obviously shippy way, with the gazing, the chats, the meaningful converstions, the hand holding and the tears. Not to mention that sad, moonlit reunion in Tales of the Jedi.
And although I dont think it matters much, by this time, even taking Rex at double chronological age, the gap is pretty mild by fantasy standards. 17-18 and about 26, roughly the same as Buffy and age-corrected Angel, and way less than Han and Leia.
Fast forward to Rebels, and we have two mature adults with a shared history and goals, who love, trust and admire each other, share common interests, and are amongst the most important people in each other's lives. It's a believable and natural thing for that to progress to something more. The challenges to their relationship are things like, for Ahsoka, the lingering memory of the Jedi code and Anakin and Padme's destructive passion, and Rex's rapid aging, status and limited life experiences. It is those kinds of emotional and external barriers and their shared trauma that make the romance so interesting.
Season 7 + and Rebels Rexsoka is classic friends to lovers, and one of the nicest, softest and most realistic relationships in Star Wars. The opposition to it, and moraliatic shaming of those who like is, is something I simply don't get. It's bizarre. There are heaps of ships that are far, far more problematic (including Anakin/Padme) that don't get this hate.
Like, anti dudes, what exactly *is* the problem here? I suspect the it's that some people just want to get their hate on.
The recent flashbacks? Yeah, that one on Mandalore complicates thing, but I doubt they had stomping on shippers in mind when they cast Ariana, as I have seen suggested elsewhere. The more likely scenario is that - at about 14 yo when this was filmed - Ariana was totally perfect for the first flashback, and is perfect for playing young Ahsoka going forward. Even setting aside that she is an amazing actress, she's insanely athletic and can duel weild light sabres while knee walking though a twist. She's also already tied to Disney. She wasn't quite right for the part, and, I agree, that does make watching it in light of the fanfic a bit uncomfortable. But, it's not just a shipper issue. Putting an Ahsoka that looks and sounds like that in the episodes with the Martez sisters and Bo Katan is weird af too, and doesn't work. I doubt it is meant to.
Story-wise, the best and only real take is that the flashbacks aren't live action replays. The Mandalore scene doesnt even chronologically match what happened (Ahsoka is so fighting Saxon in that scene, which never happened). They are visions about Ahsoka and Anakin and their relationship, not live action replays. Both remember her as a child caught up in a war. Smoke, the fog of war, flashing lights and dying, faceless clones.
And Anakin and Rex.
What I take from these is that in Ahsoka's mind, and Anakin's too for that matter, Rex is always there for her. Standing in the chaos, calm and confident in himself and in her, and looking badass as heck. With an older Ahsoka it would have absolutely been smoking scene from her pov, and no way was it written otherwise. As an older Ahsoka remembering, it's hot. As younger Ahsoka, he's there as her protector and friend.
Do I do ever think this ship will play out on screen? Not, no explicitly. And, yeah, it probably is harder now because of that vision (although if they ever do film a younger Ahsoka series, they will undoubtedly be casting a young actor for Rex, and Ariana will, by then, be 18). But I don't think that was intentional, and I don't think that much has changed. It was always intended to be an "open for interpretation" relationship, written with the possibility not excluded. And I am good with that. Perhaps I even prefer it. Star Wars has a truly dreadful record with romance and, besides, too often cementing subtle or ust-based ships kill them. I just hope this hasn't, because it's still my ship and I love it.

So I just came across Writer's wall of fame and I want to say that I love that idea. There are so many amazing fics that don't get much attention and this will help solving that problem. I also have a question. Sorry if it's mentioned somewhere and I just missed it. Are there any conditions on what the writers mentioned here must write? Are writers who write AUs allowed? I'm also asking because of the "problematic" ships because I came across a similar project once and they forbid rexsoka and cloneshipping.
Hi. Here is the link to THE WRITER'S WALL that has ALL of the information you seek. Giving you the link as the info is there for you to read. I already cut and pasted to another ask. From now on, I'll just include the link.
I am allowing some of the "problematic" ships.
AND BEFORE ANYONE COMES FOR ME, IT IS UP TO THE READER TO READ THE TAGS AND WARNINGS ON THEIR JOURNEY IN "THE EYEBALL ZONE" WHILE READING FICS AND LOOKING AT VISUAL CONTENT.
I WILL NOT POLICE ANYONE.
NOT A FAN OF CENSORSHIP.
WILL NOT KINK SHAME.
THESE ARE FICTIONAL CHARACTERS.
IF YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR BEEF WITH A WRITERS CONTENT PLEASE TAKE IT UP WITH THEM. AND, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO IT CONSTRUCTIVELY AND DO NOT HARRASS OR TROLL THEM.
I am only one person and cannot know what some people find offensive or not. Yep, it's the interwebs and there are some things that are gonna shock you...probably even shock me. I'll leave it up to you to make those decisions and control your own content consumption.
Thanks for understanding.
Oh...btw...PLEASE DON'T FORGET ME! Please read, comment, and repost my stuff too! THANK YOU!!!

In Waves, In Skies
Summary:
“What did Senator Organa say?”
rexsoka. rebellion era. repcomm mention. star wars. rated G. 699 words.
Notes: I realised I never actually posted this ficlet I did for the @rexsokazine here. It’s somewhat of a companion fic based on the art I did for the zine too.
“What did Senator Organa say?”
Sunset washed over the landscape like gold.
There was a time when the sharp insistence of tumbling hopelessness would have attempted to reach for her, long fingers offered temptingly to her quaking resolve, its quiet and everlasting companion a looming dread by its shoulder. You’d be safe here, they would croon, loving and gentle. Come with us. Stay with us. Pain wouldn’t exist here the same way.
Ahsoka would like to think such shadows knew better than to keep her in their shackles.

Since I started to seeing hateful/anti rexsoka posts I decided to write this and make some thing clear!
I'll never understand why rexsoka is always receiving so much hate! There are much worse and even grossier ships like lukin or clonecest. Unfortunately my expectations were right, and Dave Filoni gaved a new reason to hate my OTP. For me there are 2 different Ahsoka's.
First Ahsoka is animated one, and second version is that from vision. I can assure you all, that I'll never ship underage Ahsoka with Rex nor Ariana's version with him.
I'll always ship ANIMATED S7 and up Ahsoka with him romantically, because she actually looks like adult and mature. In SoM vision she's literally still kid! If she's underage, I ship them only platonically, or Ahsoka is only having crush on him (and Rex sees her only as friend)!
I'll always write fanfictions, where they both are adults. If Ahsoka is underage, then I'll tag it on AO3, that Ahsoka is having crush on Rex and this is only platonically.
Example:
My latest fanfiction for Rexsoka Monthly features underage Ahsoka and is properly tagged, that Ahsoka is having crush on Rex and this is only platonically.
Meanwhile my newest fanfiction with smut elements didn't have those tags, so this means that they're both adults in it.
I'm never going to write fics, where Rex is fucking 14 years old Ahsoka and other shit like that.
Now next part of my rant/thoughts/whatever you call it
As I mentioned on the beginning, I still don't know why rexsoka is probably the most hated ship in Star Wars fandom. Many people say that there is huge age gap. Well, other ships also have age gaps. Just look at Han and Leia or Anakin and Padme!
I also don't understand one thing. Why those all anti-rexsoka's are even writing hateful posts? They're only wasting their time and are idiots! Who said, that I, or any other rexsoka shippers are already shipping Ariana's Ahsoka with Rex? I saw some statements from other shippers, and every single one of them annouced, that they won't ship Ariana. Y'all anti posts are pointless! You won't achieve anything!
And the last thing, in the end.
All antis must be terrible persons, if they really get mad, because they don't like someone's ship. I also don't like certain ships, but I'll never harrass/attack anyone nor write anti/hateful posts. Because:
This is pointless
I'm blocking tags/words, if I don't want to see art/fics with ships, that I don't like.
Conclusion: If you really hate rexsoka, then block tags and words. It's really easy! Stop wasting your time on being haters and go touch the grass!

Congrats on 200 followers!! 💙
May I request a Wolffe/Liri drabble?
I’m bad at prompts, so I shall just request hurt/comfort. 👀
Ahh! So happy to see this one! It ended up a bit longer than a drabble. Somehow I'm not sure you'll mind? 😆 This one was inspired by a convo a while back on the Rexsoka server and it was something that I've wanted to write for a while. This takes place post war It's SFW, just a brief mention of sex. TW for anyone out there: periods? I mean, I think they should be normalized and maybe that's the point of this, to be able to speak candidly about them, especially with your partner.
Liri shifted in her chair, struggling to focus as the client pitched their contract requirements. What had started as a faint low in her side was slowly building into a stabbing ache, making it harder and harder to concentrate. She gritted her teeth, trying to keep her face neutral, but even her poker face had limits. After another few minutes, she finally called for a break.
"Let's take ten," she said. Without waiting for a reply, she gave Mezze a brief wave, heading straight for the fresher.
The doctor had told her this would happen eventually, but she’d been hoping for at least a few more weeks of blissful ignorance. Typical that it would hit her today, during a meeting with a high-profile client she desperately wanted to impress. She hadn’t dealt with this since she was eighteen, she’d gotten an implant back then specifically to avoid this situation, the pain, the inconvenience. Being sidetracked by her own body wasn’t something she had time or patience for.
"Of course, it has to be today," she muttered to herself, leaning against the sink and glaring at her reflection. She took a deep breath, reminding herself of the reason behind this choice. It was a step, a big one.  A life changing one. The chance to build a family. It’ll be worth it, she reminded herself, though the sentiment did little to comfort her in the moment.
With a sigh, Liri confirmed that, yes, her period had arrived. She freshened up and returned to her office, doing her best to hide her discomfort. As she stepped in, Mezze was already there, handing her a cup of caf without a word.
“You alright?” Mezze asked.  She had that skeptical look that told Liri she knew something was up.
Liri straightened. “Of course I am. Just need to take something, and then we can get back to the meeting.” She set the caf on her desk and rummaged through her drawer, fishing out the painkillers. Popping a couple of pills into her hand, she swallowed them with a swig of caf, hoping they’d kick in quickly.   If she could just get through the rest of this meeting, she could rest later.
“Cramps?”  Mezze asked.  Liri managed a nod.
"You look pale," Mezze pointed out.
Liri couldn’t help a snort. "Oh, and how would you know?”  Mezze’s skin was close to a human’s in color, a soft light pink, while Liri’s was an unmistakable Wroonian blue.
Mezze rolled her eyes. “It’s not like I haven’t worked here for a hundred years, Liri. I know you well enough.”
“Hm. A hundred years, you say? Damn, I look good for my age,” Liri deadpanned.  Mezze only shook her head.
Liri returned to the meeting, forcing herself to sit upright, but it was becoming increasingly difficult. Her skin felt hot, then cold, a wave of dizziness hit her.  She blinked back the spots, leaning back in her chair. Liri nodded along trying to focus on the words, the content, her hands shaking as she took notes.
Mezze glanced over to her every so often, and after another few minutes of trying to push through, Liri gave in. She was in no shape to do this right now.  She was running a real risk of passing out in front of a client and that wouldn’t do.
With an apologetic smile, she interrupted the discussion. “I’m so sorry, but I’m not feeling well. Could we reschedule?” She hated to ask, but she could tell she was reaching her limit. The client nodded.  There was a back and forth over details before Mezze took over, leading them out to handle everything.
Liri sighed in relief and laid her head down on the table.  After what felt like a few seconds, she felt Mezze’s hand on her shoulder.
“Liri, you’re about five seconds from keeling over. How about I drive you home?”
“I don’t need a chauffeur, Mezze. It’s a little cramp,” Liri muttered, but her snark didn’t have its usual bite.
“Sure, but you really don’t want to take a taxi like this do you?” Mezze replied, unfazed. “Don’t be stubborn.”
“Stubborn? Me?” Liri rolled her eyes but allowed Mezze to help her gather her things and lead her to the speeder.  Liri tried to detail what meetings to reschedule and focus on work, but Mezze wasn’t having it.  Liri slumped back in the seat, closing her eyes. Maybe some sleep would help, and with any luck, she’d be back to herself by the time Wolffe got home. The last thing she wanted was for him to see her like this.
The ride home was quiet and quick and when Mezze pulled up to her apartment, Liri offered a tired but genuine “Thanks.”
“Get some rest, boss. And maybe take it easy on yourself for once,” Mezze said with a grin.
“Yeah, yeah.” Liri waved her off with a faint smile, making her way inside.
Once she was alone, Liri leaned against the door, exhaling slowly. She’d managed to keep it together for the most part, but now, with no one watching, the pain hit her full force. She kicked off her shoes and made a beeline for the couch, her only goal to sleep off this miserable day. She just needed a few hours.  She’d be fine, she always was.
Curling up miserably, she closed her eyes and hoped the worst of it would be over soon.
#^#^#
Wolffe keyed the code and stepped into the quiet, dark apartment. The lights were off, there was no holo playing in the background, no music. He glanced around, assuming Liri must still be at the office, probably tackling a case or buried under a mountain of paperwork and meetings. He shut the door with a sigh and headed to the bedroom to change out of his uniform. Even on his planetside rotation, running a battalion in the Humanitarian Corps never fully let up, but he didn’t mind. He actually liked it. The opportunity of fixing what had been broken, helping where help was needed. It was just as busy as wartime, but this work felt… right.  Like he was actually making a difference.
He slipped on a pair of shorts, and considered getting a snack before diving into his own stack of reports. In the kitchen, he made himself a quick cup of caf, cracked open the conservator, then closed it, realizing he wasn’t actually all that hungry. Taking his caf, he moved toward the couch, intent to relax for just a few minutes.
But as he reached the living room, he stopped as he saw Liri curled up on the couch, half-buried under a blanket. She didn’t nap on the couch, hell, she hardly napped at all. She was always up, always doing something. Seeing her there, in the middle of the evening, had him a little worried.  The thought crossed his mind that maybe she was sick.  He’d never actually seen her sick, but nat-borns were more susceptible than clones.
He set his caf cup down on the table and leaned down, brushing a hand over her forehead. She was warm, maybe too warm.
Liri groaned, blinking awake, giving him a look that could probably kill a lesser man.
“Liri?” he asked. “You alright?”
She managed to sit up, her face scrunching. “Not really…” She blinked at him, still groggy. “What time is it?”
“It’s late,” he said. She looked exhausted, her face a little pale, eyes unfocused. “You’re in pain.”  He realized, his mismatched gaze moved over her, as if looking for any sign of injury. “Are you hurt?”
She shot him a look that was all Liri, sarcastic and frustrated. “No, I’m not hurt. Just dealing with my cycle.  I’ve got cramps, okay?” She raised a brow as if daring him to comment.
“Oh.” He blinked. She’d mentioned hers returning after the implant removal.  Wolffe gave her a slow nod, connecting the dots. He knew what a cycle was, of course, but hadn’t realized it came with this level of pain. He vaguely remembered her mentioning it in one of their family planning talks, but Liri tended to bombard him with details all at once.“Is… is this normal?”
She scoffed, rolling her eyes. “Normal? That’s the whole reason I had an implant in the first place, to avoid all of this. But now I get to enjoy it every month.”
Wolffe hesitated, sensing her frustration and choosing his words carefully. “If this is what you go through, maybe we need to talk about this.”
She glared at him. “Are you saying you want to back out? Because if you’re reconsidering the whole family thing, now’s a hell of a time to say it.”
“Kriffing hell, Liri, no,” he said, exasperation creeping into his voice as he rubbed a hand over the back of his neck. The idea of having a child was still something he was getting used to.  He knew she wanted that. He wasn’t opposed, but the fact that she wanted a future like that with him was still a little difficult to wrap his head around. “I just don’t like seeing you like this, in pain. That’s all.” He hesitated. “Are you sure you don’t need to go to the hospital?”
She let out a small laugh. “What are they gonna do? Hand me some pain meds, pat me on the head, and tell me it’s normal? No, thanks. I can handle it. Just need to take my pills. It’ll pass.”
He frowned, processing that. He’d thought civilians got better care than that, it irritated him. “Alright. Where are they?”
She pointed toward the side table, and he grabbed the pills and handed them to her, offering her his caf cup. “You sure you don’t want me to call one of my medics? They’d actually listen,” he said. They wouldn’t trivialize her pain, he trusted them to take her seriously.
“Thanks, but no thanks,” she muttered, swallowing the pills. “It’s cramps, Wolffe, not a blaster wound. I don’t need an audience.”
He held back an eyeroll, not taking her sarcasm personally, and sat beside her, watching her close her eyes and try to rest. He felt helpless, and that helplessness ate at him, making him restless. His fingers twitched with the need to do something useful. After a while, she drifted into a fitful sleep, and he got up, slipping into the kitchen.
Sitting around idly while there was a problem to be solved wasn’t something he could do, so he pulled out his datapad and began researching. He absorbed article after article on cycle pain, trying to learn anything that might help her. There wasn’t much in the conservator.  He wasn’t exactly great at cooking, and on his own, he’d eat ration bars out of convenience. But soup, he could handle that. After digging around, he found some chocolate in the pantry, too.
She’d used a heating compress on him before, and he was sure it was around somewhere. Eventually, he found it, though not without some frustration. He lived here too and sometimes he felt like he couldn’t find anything.  Kriffing hell, he needed to reorganize her drawers.
Finally, he returned to the couch, gently nudging her awake. She blinked groggily, slowly sitting up, looking surprised at the mug and bowl he’d set on the table.
He held out the heating compress, feeling a bit out of his depth. “Here, this might help. Supposed to ease the cramping, or… something.”
She arched an eyebrow, a smirk crossing her face. “You’ve been doing research?”
He shrugged, looking almost sheepish. “There’s soup, too. And chocolate. Apparently, that’s supposed to help?” He ran a hand over the back of his neck, as if unsure if he’d just made things worse by offering chocolate as a solution.
He expected her to snap at him as he took a seat but instead, she sighed and leaned into him. “Thank you, Wolffe. Really.  Not bad for a guy who thinks caf fixes everything.”
He let out a snort. “I’ll let that slide, seeing as you’re miserable.” He stroked her back as she took a few spoonfuls of soup.  He let her eat, sipping his caf, and trying to get her to drink the tea he’d made.  She made a face, but she drank it.
“Is it ok?”  He asked, watching as she finished up.
“I’ll live,” she muttered, seeming drowsy again.
She seemed resigned to laying back down on the couch again, but he shook his head. “Come on, you’re sleeping in bed tonight. The couch isn’t gonna cut it.”
Too tired to argue, she let him lead her, only stopping at the fresher for a few minutes, before curling up on the bed with the heating pad on her stomach. He settled in behind her, his arm slipping around her, his hand resting on her hip. His hand shifted lower, rubbing gentle circles along her lower back.
“I was not very nice to you earlier,” she murmured, half-apologetic.
Wolffe snorted. “I’m used to it. I like the pain.” When she gave him a scathing look over her shoulder, he added with a grin, “And I love it. Every bit of it. Love you, fire and all.’”
She let out a small smile. “Good to know you’re putting up with me out of sheer devotion.”
“Devotion and survival instincts,” he said dryly, still massaging small circles into her back. She settled deeper against him, her body finally beginning to relax.
“This had to happen while you’re on leave, huh? Can’t even have any fun,” she pouted.
“Can’t?” he asked, quirking an eyebrow. “You mean… during your cycle?”
She nodded, a bit more serious. “Most people think it’s off-putting. Messy. Disgusting.” She said it flatly, like she expected him to agree.
Wolffe shrugged, pulling her closer. “I don’t really care. Not if you’re up for it.” When she looked at him, surprised, he added with a smirk, “That’s what showers are for, right?”
She laughed, shaking her head. “Oh, just for that reason, huh?”
He grinned, pressing a kiss to her shoulder. “You know what I mean.”
They settled in, the steady rhythm of his breathing and the warmth of his body soothing her. The pain finally dulled to an ache, manageable and distant. Wrapped in his arms, she let herself sink into sleep, wondering how she’d managed to be so lucky. And as Wolffe watched her, feeling the last of her tension ease, he closed his eyes, joining her in sleep.

Alright, I'm gonna say this right now and hope I won't have to repeat myself :
SHIPPING A MINOR AND A GROWN ADULT ISN'T OKAY !!! It's weird, disgusting and I don't get how people think it's okay... Also shipping two adults when one of them basically raised the other isn't okay either (by that I mean a grown adult dating a young adult they basically raised). Here's a list of ships that I find extremely disturbing (and why) (I actually blocked the hashtags of those to avoid seeing disturbing fanfics and fanarts)
WARNINGS : mentions of predators and grooming at the end of this post
- Obikin (Obi-Wan Kenobi & Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars) : this one actually DISGUSTS me on so many levels !
1) Obi-Wan knew Anakin since he was 10 and basically raised him.
2) Anakin said it himself in AOTC that Obi-Wan is the closest thing he has as to father. Pretty weird to ship them romantically if Anakin sees Obi-Wan as a father figure.
3) They're 15 years apart (when Anakin was 19/20 in AOTC, Obi-Wan was 34/35 --> yes, they're both adults at this age but Anakin is still extremely young. A 20 year old shouldn't date someone almost twice their age (the brain isn't fully developed until your mid to late 20s) so we can still be manipulated easily)).
4) Obi-Wan is Anakin's master meaning there's an imbalance of power. Obi-Wan literally has the upper hand on Anakin in terms of power (it's like shipping a teacher and their student).
All in all, shipping Anakin and Obi-Wan is extremely weird and not okay ! --> and the amount of fanarts I came across is, disturbing, to say the least.
- QuiObi (Qui-Gon Jinn & Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars) : This one is pretty similar to what I was saying about Obikin.
1) Qui-Gon knew Obi-Wan since he was a child. And padawans are usually assigned to a master at a young age so we can see it as Qui-Gon raising Obi-Wan.
2) Yes, Obi-Wan may be 25 years old in TPM but Qui-Gon is nearly twice his age (he was 48 years old in TPM) which is extremely weird for me.
3) Just like with Anakin and Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon was Obi-Wan's master. Again, imbalance of power and being in a relationship with someone who's more powerful than you (in terms of ranks : just like a teacher and a student) isn't okay. The other person will find a way to manipulate you to get what they want.
Just like Anakin and Obi-Wan, I don't ship Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.
- Anisoka (Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars : The Clone Wars) : Another master x padawan relationship... What is it with SOME fans and shipping a Jedi Master with their padawan ?!
1) Anakin and Ahsoka first met when she was FOURTEEN and he was TWENTY ! Just think for a second here : if you are 20 years old, would you be romantically interested in a 14 year old ? I'm 23 and I have NEVER been romantically interested in someone younger than me (I can't even see myself dating someone three years younger than me, let alone someone who's fourteen).
2) This is the third time I'm saying this but, again, imbalance of power ! And in two different ways : first off, Anakin is Ahsoka's master so his rank is higher than hers, second, with Ahsoka being 14 and Anakin being 20, he also holds some sort of power over her as she's still a teenager and he's a young adult.
3) Ashley Eckstein (who voiced Ahsoka) and Matt Lanter (who voiced Anakin) said it themselves that there's NOTHING ROMANTIC between Ahsoka and Anakin !
4) This one may be my personal opinion but Anakin and Ahsoka definitely had a brother/sister type of relationship.
This is probably the ship that disturbs me the most right after Obi-Wan and Anakin, and right before the one I'm gonna talk about next (also lucky me (sarcastic) came across disturbing fanfics and fanarts)
- Rexsoka (Captain Rex & Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars: The Clone Wars) : This is probably one of the Ahsoka ships that I've seen the most and I still can't see why people ship them romantically (just like the others)
1) Ahsoka was 14 when they met and Rex was 20 (technically he was 10 but that's not the issue here). So just like with Anakin : there's an imbalance of power in terms of age, and while Ahsoka's rank is above Rex's (she is Commander while he's Captain), that doesn't change anything.
2) Rex, while being older than Ahsoka, always respected her. He always called her 'Commander' even when she wasn't anymore and when he didn't, he nicknamed her 'kid'. Because she's younger than him and was literally a kid when they met.
3) In season 7 (episode 11 if my memory's correct), Ahsoka called Rex her friend ("The Republic couldn't have asked for better soldiers, nor I a better friend"). And I'm sure Rex also saw Ahsoka as his friend.
4) It's obvious that there's no ROMANTIC attraction between them (just like with the other previous ships listed). Also, since Ahsoka was 14 when they met, Rex probably saw her as a little sister (but that's just my opinion)
So... Again, a ship I find extremely disturbing (and lucky me (sarcastic) came across disturbing fanfics and fanarts)
Now, that would be EXTREMELY hypocritical of me to not mention Anidala and HanLeia. i can't say that I 100% support Anidala (Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala from Star Wars) and HanLeia (Han Solo and Leia Organa from Star Wars). While I love both couples, I still find the age gaps quite disturbing.
Anidala : They're just 4 years apart BUT considering he was just 10 when they met (despite not seeing each other between TPM & AOTC so 10 years), it still a bit odd for me that she's shown interest in him (although, I admit it, Anakin couldn't stop flirting with her)
HanLeia : They're probably THE Star Wars ship that everyone knows (even outside of the fandom because of the famous "I love you. I know" line that is referenced in SO MANY movies/tv shows). Now, I also love them (and have been since I was like 6 years old) BUT the 10 year age gap has always been weird for me since she's barely an adult and he's a grown man when they met (she was 19 and he was 29). So, yes I love them BUT the 10 year gap is still weird to me --> again, at 23 years, I don't see myself dating someone who's 10 years older than me.
Do I love both ? Yes.
Do I still find the age gaps disturbing ? Yes.
Do I 100% ship them ? No because of the age gaps.
Now, I'm gonna go with a ship that's NOT from Star Wars but from Winx Club, and I recently found out about it (because I recently started to rewatch it (seasons 1 to 4 only).
- Valtor and Bloom (from Winx Club) : if you don't know what they look like (Winx isn't as famous as Star Wars so not everyone grew up with it), here's what they look like.
Tumblr media
(this gif is literally from their first encounter at the beginning of season 3 (episode 5 I think)
Here are the reasons why it's not okay to ship them and is a disturbing ship :
1) Bloom is only a minor while Valtor is a grown man when they first met (she was only 17 (and not 18 as people claim it as she graduated only between season 3 and 4 so in season 3, she's 17) and he looks like he's in his late 20s but actually was over 1000 years old).
2) Valtor manipulated and tortured Bloom in so many ways ! He kept telling her that he knew what happened to her biological parents when he didn't. He lied to her about it, and multiple times (said that he killed them at first, then said that her parents were inside his body so that she wouldn't kill him). He tried to trick her into forming an alliance with him to fight the Ancestral Witches who created him from the Dragon's Flame (connecting him to Bloom as her powers are related to the Dragon's flame). He also tried to kill her more than once, manipulated her, tortured her, knowing she desperately wanted to know what happened to her biological parents.
3) His obsession with her was extremely disturbing and creepy.
4) Last but not least : he was Bloom's worst enemy.
There are many other disturbing ships within so many fandoms, but these are the ones I keep seeing the most and please reblog this as it's very important to talk about it. And please, tell me if there are any ships from other fandoms that also disturb you.
Another note : Remember that predators/groomers know how to lure their victims into a sick, violent, toxic and twisted 'relationship' by saying "you're mature for your age". There's no such thing as being "mature for your age". It's something predators will use to flatter their victim's ego and manipulate them.
If you still ship them after reading all this, you do you and you can disagree with me if you want (I can't tell you what to do).
