Roach often jumps from clan to clan within the scarred wasteland. Whenever he’s questioned on where he lives, he just refers to the entirety of the wasteland as his home. He often visits new clans that are up and coming, but he doesn’t really do anything other than talk or mess around with them. More often than not he leaves on good terms with the clans after welcoming them to their new home, but sometimes clans don’t appreciate his chaotic tendencies and total disregard for basic safety protocols. He has a particular favoritism towards clans consisting of other mirrors and nocturnes while he usually keeps his distance from ones with a majority population of much larger creatures such as Ridgebacks or Imperials. It’s a mildly terrifying to be completely surrounded by things that can squish you.

their parents were healer types; their ma taught them to put their prodigious strength to good use in applying massages and physical therapy type stuff, making them Slightly Too Into caring for people by hand

every other thing out of their mouth is accidentally an innuendo, its kind of impressive that they genuinely don’t do it on purpose but still manage to sound like they’re flirting with everybody

(of course if they try to flirt on purpose, they suddenly clam up and get all nervous)

they are eternally chill and friendly, completely missing out on the misery of being an omen in the lands between by having decent parents and a sheltered life away from the golden order’s prejudices. they know enough to understand that their odd appearance can frighten folk, but they were never taught hat being an omen was A Curse - in fact, their parents still held the heretical belief that their child was blessed by the crucible

it takes one(1) encounter at stormveil’s gates with margit for both of them to want to fuck each other so bad it makes them look stupid, but both of them are hindered by coming to that conclusion for vastly different reasons (morgott is a repressed sad bitch, rex has one braincell and can only think of his muscles in terms of how tense and uncomfortable he looks and how bad his posture is)

they manage to hit the same ‘infuriatingly but charmingly dumb’ vibe that godrick does for marigold, confusing and irritating her to no end

Today marks a full year since Migora first joined my clan. She’s the only dragon I have an actual “purchase” date on since I posted on a forum for her and she’s my special little girl that I love way too much. My newbie butt loved her enough to grind my ass off to make her a wildclaw and get a stained scroll just to switch it over to spines when trail came out.

She's a total manipulative butt in-lore, but she's probably one of my most sentimentally valued dragons in my clan. She was the first to get art, first to get fully written lore, first to get a commissioned UMA accent, and I think she was my first g1 to completely gene up? Not too sure on the latter.

A lair purge has led to the removal of a large amount of my dragons. This post will serve as a list of what is removed and what canonically occurred to them. Saccharo - Left with Avarren in search of a better home. Avarren - Left with Saccharo in search of a better home. Mel - Perished under the harsh conditions set by Echo. Ventus - Allowed his the mortal form he inhabited to perish, continues on as a spirit. Eldan - Driven away by Andromeda for being a general nuisance. Mica - Perished under the harsh conditions set by Echo.  Echo - Perished. Rekka - Perished at the hands of the darker side of the clan. Ignisia - Attacked and driven away when she surfaced to meet with Avellatur.

The clan often farms a wide variety of insects, plants, and fish in the depths of their caverns. Meat is a rare yet highly valuable part of the clan’s diet, so they must trade for it. Echo often goes out with Alexander to negotiate deals with other clans-Echo being the talk and Alex being the large intimidating figure that’s going to rip your head off if you try to cheat them...and carry everything.

Hawthorn is shade-tainted, however, he has made an alliance with the shade. The shadeling that inhabits his body allows him to amplify the power of his magic and uses it to woo other dragons into relationships with him. Once they’re close, he leads them away from the clan and into their demise. This helps feed both the shade’s power and his thirst for vengeance.

Luvenis, the hatchling from yesterday’s short-encounter-thing, is the son of Saevus’s brother, Suavis. He is incredibly ill with a strange disease that’s causing his magic to disrupt and take shape in ways he cannot control. This ranges from strange quakes to coughing up a pebble or two from nowhere. His presence also causes magic around him to corrupt and turn wild. This includes causing others’ elemental magic to strike up against their will, causing magical plants to either wilt or suddenly grow at extreme speeds, and potions contained in even the sturdiest bottles to simply burst. While not directly deadly to others, it was highly harmful to himself as a hatchling with how much energy he expended.

Migora hates Reina, not because Reina was a cruel leader-but because she sees the ridgeback as bossy. She used to hate her simply because she was a leader figure, but now that Reina’s lost her throne she’s finding it hard to continue her plot to kill her.

Now that they’ve moved to Plague Territory, Migora has to work with Reina if she wants to survive. The two live together in the skull of the massive serpent that surrounds the clan’s main base. Reina does not think much of Migora, but the wildclaw sure has a lot to say about the previous leader behind her back.

Saevus found a way in which to minimize the damage done by Luvenis’s wild magic. She sought out a cursed talonclasp amulet which put a sort of cap on his abilities and prevented them from making their outbursts. When taken off, however, the stocked-up magic can be a bit...dangerous.

A typical feral mirror clan’s social hierarchy tends to make things easy with a lack of leader or need for asserting dominance. However, newcomers have to undergo vicious hazing rituals before they’re truly accepted among the clan. With how often they merge and split, this often means that occasionally one might be left too wounded to continue with the clan.

The local pink tundra within the clan, Kyandi, has an uncanny ability to smell how others are feeling. Certain scents provokes a specific thought to him, which he has learned to associate with how they are feeling. However, there’s a particular scent that he can’t seem to figure out. Reborn dragons have a distinct smell to them that is always constant. Blessed dragons are typically a scent associated with their element while normal reborns smell like...rotting corpses.

Mel is the oldest dragon within the clan. Nobody knows exactly how old she is-as she finds any who ask incredibly rude- but she does call just about everyone ‘child’. She claims to have quite a long history and it can be proven by her strange associations with seemingly random strangers. Strangers show up in the clan-requesting Mel’s presence. She usually assures the clan that it’s nothing and that she will take care of things before she walks off with the stranger. She usually returns at the most a week later.

The Plaugebringer and Lailyn are absolutely furious with Echo’s betrayal against the flight. Lailyn advised to Echo that she get her act together quick and return Reina into the clan’s rank, however, the Wildclaw instead refused and banished Lailyn instead. Outraged, the plaguebringer used Lailyn as a conduit to unleash her wrath on the clan. Crops no longer grow, prey within the caves have become scarce, and disease now assaults the clan from all angles. Echo is too stubborn to reconsider, as that would admit to weakness.

So far, Reina, Avellatur, Alexander, and Paean are confirmed reborns in my lore’s canon. However, only Reina and Paean are publically known and treated horribly for their status. Reina still has no memory of her previous life and only knows she is one from the stern word of Stormcatcher. Paean isn’t in his first rodeo. He has reincarnated nine times now, but he doesn’t recall anything beyond his previous life. He never intends to properly exalt. Avellatur is not aware that he is reborn nor did he realize what he was doing when he originally died-His rebirth was a complete accident.  Alexander, on the other hand, knowingly denied it and suspects that he is one currently.

Saevus raised Alexander since he was small. She views him along with many others as her child. Alexander doesn’t quite view her as a mother, however. The two share very similar moralities, though Alexander is more willing to commit immoral acts for his own selfishness than the guardian. For example, if the love of his life were in danger, he would be willing to do any means necessary to bring her back to safety-even if it meant killing Saevus.

Blessed dragons are no longer welcome among the clan as the clan follows no specific deity. Ignisia and Mistral are treated with disdain from Echo and heavily suppressed in their rights. The two continue to stay, however, for their connections within the clan. Those that support Echo also treat them with disdain.
