It WAS gonna have some creepy cryptid eyes in the forest by the path but then I liked how the pines were looking too much and kept filling in

From revivify_inn on IG: May I request my OC, Harrison? He's a (cowboy) half-elf Ranger turned Oath of Ancients Paladin after being saved by the goddess Mielikki. The poor guy is still figuring out being a paladin. He was a forest guide until he got on some people's bad sides. He's a sweetheart, if a bit reserved. He gets uncomfortable in cities and large groups, and savors the tranquility and beauty of nature. Often he's just tired on an existential level. Everything about him is warm, from his personality to his voice, and he's usually very calm, so I usually use a midnight campfire for his aesthetic. - I love Harrison he sounds like such an interesting character and the concept of a cowboy half-elf is fantastic!

Harrison needed some nice warm colors as well as something to represent nature and campfires. I wanted something bright and calming for him. Found a glaze combo for a northern lights effect!

Tried it on this full circle tumbler with my cabin and mountain sgraffito

Deep into the night

With the moonlight as my guide

I go wander through the pines

I wanted to challenge myself with something REALLY tiny and HOO BOY this was difficult! I used a needle to get the details and it's still not the best! Going to try to clean it up more I think.

Inside is 2x snapdragon from Amaco, 1 heavy coat amaryllis, and a coat of a white glaze on the rim! The green is Mayco SC-26, Green Thumb. The white rim is Coyote satin white liner!

So this is the start of a stars and moon "cauldron" berry bowl idea...

But i realized I have the opportunity to make a stardew valley berry bowl.........

Final decision was this will be a "cauldron" with stars and moons and black glaze

And the other bowl will have stars and be stardew inspired :)

The underglaze ended up bubbling :( but I've been told some people like the bubbling so that's the only thing keeping me from throwing it out.

Best way to test glazes

Mayco normally recommends 2 layers of each layered glaze (which is bonkers bc I was always taught max 3 layers)

This way on the inside where it's 2:2 it'll catch it when it drips and on the back you can see what it's like if it's 2:1 (tbh I'm liking the 2:1 combos better)

The body will be matte black and the stars and moon filled with a gorgeous green. Considering painting a design in the moon??

Next attempt is going to be sgraffito and then I'll lay green glaze over ALL of it. But I'm gonna do some testing first so I don't absolutely ruin anything

Finally got these photographed! I am looking forward to having green stamina potion bottles soon! I'm also thinking of only filling some bottles "halfway" but given how small these studs are, I kind of like them full of color.
