And also I think the Olympics are so fast paced once you get there, that Stephie doesn't actually spend a lot of time with Azzi and therefore Paige which is also why Azzi is a tad bit guilty about not being with her.

Never had a issue worry about basic needs and you probably did private school, honors program, trip once a year, your parent probably brought you you first car and there is not a single thing your dad ain't going to buy for you. Yet ... you hate the environment you been brough up in. They always arguing all the time. You hate loud noise. You are sometime force to chime in but all you are screaming about is wanting love. I'm hearing : Mom - You really had to take his side ? You: Mom ... really ... all I want is for it to stop. Y'all dread the holiday because is the same family dinner that always end up in a mess. 🦞 - cant wait to start TGCF !!! everyone has been telling me that tgcf is more romantic than other mxtx books ... whats your opinion about it ?? and do you have any tips before I start reading it 😶

it is definitely the most romantic of the three mxtx series! personally it is my least favorite of the mxtx novels, which isn't a criticism of tgcf and is more just a matter of my own tastes lol I am too thoroughly svsss-pilled and also I found the pacing of tgcf kind of dragged in the beginning/middle. HOWEVER the last several parts of tgcf are fucking CRAZY and i enjoyed them a lot, so it's definitely worth sticking through it if you get bogged down in the pacing of the early parts. I found the ending very satisfying and it made me understand why people say hualian invented love <3

my number one tip is to keep track of names!! I could not remember ANYONE'S names in that damn series lol everyone has their birth name and their god name and sometimes they're referred to as the place where they're from and sometimes they have another title on top of that and then sometimes they just fucking LIE about who they are and it's so confusing. a friend of mine was keeping a spreadsheet of names while reading and that meant I occasionally got texts that were just "MY FUCKING SPREADSHEET" when yet ANOTHER identity reveal happened. it's great.

Holy fucking shit dude. I just finished reading your phobophobia fic series and it was absolutely jaw dropping. The way you write in general is amazing, but your usage of words, the way you write reader, the way this reads like a whole fucking book, the foreshadowing (get it.), the plot twists... everything, it was perfect. This like- genuinely changed my life and is now in my top five favorite works of written creative media. This also hit so hard because I've also recently went through something traumatic where I started doubting my mind and memory and I felt reader when she was upset about that, I was having the same thoughts. This story was absolutely phenomenal. Im planning on going thru all the chapters and reblogging them all, I was too busy craving the next chapter to interact 😭 but this seriously deserve SO MUCH MORE ATTENTION. SO MUCH. I've been craving and an angsty, lengthy, logan x reader fic since August, when I got into his character. This was everything I wanted and more. You slayed the fucking boots down.

No offense but your ashley post is some absolutely ridiculous garbage. Imagine not only admitting publicly that you’re THAT bad at the game but then ALSO admitting you just have 0 media literacy skills or ability to feel compassionate story writing.

The entire point of resident evil 4 is that you’re saving Ashley and if you actually pay attention at all to the game there’s a genuine level of character and story written in for her. Ashley is a 20 year old that’s been taken from her home and had everything she’s ever known been stripped away from her. Her bodily autonomy has been stripped away from her as she fights against this parasite inside her trying to warp her mind to make her kill her own father. She knows it was an inside job, She is fighting for her life against people who’s only goal is to kill her when she has absolutely no training. There’s even more going on with her in the notes you can find around + the remake if you take the time to play the games properly.

Acting like Ashley is the sole issue of the game is just straight up misogynistic and a clear showcase of your inability to consume media with any level of critical thinking skills.

//Eloise was the first Project Eden’s Garden I heard about and we know why, Survivor introduced her as the housekeeper of Nagito’s old mansion and was there to greet Class 77-B when Nagito decided to give his old class that mansion as a apology for blowing up Jabberwock Island. But of course she wasn’t a housekeeper in Project Eden’s Garden, she is the Ultimate Fencer.

//Personality wise she’s timid and very passive which seems shocking seeing she does a combat sport, but fencing is a very distance based sport and as we soon discover, in fencing forfeiting a match counts as a win for you so Eloise climbed the ranks because people were too scared to challenge her which gave her a bit of a self-esteem issue as doesn’t even know if her skills are good enough to be a Ultimate.

//Unsurprisingly she butts heads with Grace who like her is another sports based female but while Eloise got handed a lot of her wins, Grace had to fight tooth and nail to get to where she was, especially as Golf is a very male dominated sport, so naturally the two don’t get on. It’s a very Hiyoko-Mikan relationship they have, and one I hope doesn’t end that way.

//I also see she gets on very well with Desmond as the two spend a LOT of time together, could be since they are both characters used to distance combat, but Desmond is a very down to earth and chill guy so maybe he’s the kind of person Eloise needs in her life. And while Eloise is a very timid person, when a situation gets serious, she can be brave as she was the first to accuse someone of murder in the Chapter 1 Class Trial as she found Grace keeping everyone out of Wolfgang’s dorm to be very sus.

//Now, a lot of people are nervous around Eloise as they see some Kanade-like traits in her, someone very weak and passive normally but does a complete flip in serious situations and becomes competent, and worries she’s gonna be a psycho in Chapter 3. I call BS on that one since firstly, Kanade does a complete 180 in the Class Trials which raises alarm bells, but while Eloise has a bit more of a backbone then you think, she still is a very quiet and meek person. The other reason is while I press X to doubt on this one, the team behind PEG have gone on record to say they are gonna to avert most common Danganronpa tropes.

Hmmmm so I guess Paige is taking her frustrations out on Angie because she feels like she could potentially be taking her spot on the team after her 1yr deal is up? Poor Angie. Why do I feel like the micro aggressions might not be over with? Curious to see what Azzi’s reaction will be to the news.

I love menace Tessa and Jana. Figured someone else was bound to catch on, those 2 couldn’t hide their heart eyes even if they wanted to. Jana saying “won’t somebody please think about the complications” made me laugh really good. I see what you did there lol.

Stephie and Paige are becoming my new favorite duo, I love their relationship so much. Stephie not wanting Paige to cook is so real. I feel like Paige’s cooking style would just be door dash. I can’t picture that woman cooking anything 😂 I loved the call back of how much Paige hates vegetables and anything healthy calling them “nasty green things”. I think about that episode all the time. It’s always surprising how terrible the diets of elite athletes are. Paige probably would just eat In N Out and Noodles and Company for every meal if she could. Food is just another example of how much of a ying n yang relationship Paige and Azzi have. Princess eats all this really tasty healthy food, and Paige would rather shovel Chick-fil-A down her throat while she runs around 😅

Ohhhhh Stephie inherited the petty gene from Azzi I see 😃 And she’s a master manipulator? Using Clemence was a stroke of evil genius really. I love jealous Azzi! Not Claudia calling out her mom 😂 Stephie using Claudia’s mom to make her point? Oh this kid is too smart for her own good.

Hmmmm so the conversation with Drew in the car, how long has Azzi been feeling doubt? Really curious to finally find out what happened with the break up, because Drew’s reaction to seeing Azzi again and seeing his sister get back with her, just holds a lot of bitterness. More so than what seems reasonable for the info we have received so far. Like obviously he doesn’t understand Azzi’s reasoning for the break up. Did Paige just not share the real reason? Was Azzi’s reason to Paige not fully clear? It doesn’t feel like he believes that Azzi did whatever she could to not hurt his sister and as a byproduct not hurt himself. Just seems like there might be some misunderstanding that’s been festering for years. Obviously he’s hurt that Azzi wasn’t around in his life anymore and that’s definitely part of it. I’m just waiting for the full curtain to be pulled back I guess you could say.

Can’t wait to be a fly on the wall for that super awkward dinner next chapter 😅

I absolutely love writing Stephie and Paige so I love that y'all love them too! Paige's cooking style beyond doordash is making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches lmao but yeah she definitely drives Azzi a little insane when instead of helping get Stephie to eat her greens, she's out there gagging at them.

Azzi I think has always been a bit of an overthinker and especially when it comes to her relationship with Paige and it all sort of reaches a cumulative breaking point eventually. Drew doesn't know a lot about the breakup because it's something Paige never really wanted to talk about. But there's really a lot of things with Azzi that has Drew upset down to the fact that if she'd stayed, Paige would never have to have gone through her heartbreak, even if she wasn't really in love with her, with Olivia either. And ofc he feels like Azzi abandoned him too. But yeah a lot of things to be unpacked.

this weeks chapter was very... :/

i don’t even hate the chapter this week like content wise i don’t think it’s a bad chapter i just think that the lead up (the entirety of the culling game) and the pacing and gojos reaction to everything is making it all very. meh to me :/

the whole culling game wasn’t my favorite for a lot of reasons and i don’t necessarily blame gege for it completely. i think that there isn’t an arc better than hidden inventory and there aren’t any fights better than the ones in shibuya, so following both of those really incredible arcs with another that is supposed to be equally as good or better does not seem like an easy thing. (spoilers for CG and new ch. under the cut)

one of the reasons the fights in shibuya are sooo good to me is because they are fights that are deeply rooted in character and character development. maki killing the zenin clan, megumi fighting toji, etc. the itadori-mahito fight at the end of the shibuya arc is entirely a character/meant for character development fight for itadori, with his whole "i am you, you are me" realization/acceptance, and it is arguably the best fight in the manga like it is sooo good.

but there arent any fights built around character in the culling game and like. given that gege has made such amazing, character oriented fights in the past. it is a little bit disappointing. esp since i don’t personally want to just watch/read a bunch of fights repeatedly like i WANT there to be some kind of deeper meaning/purpose to them (outside of trying to end the culling game/free gojo obv). makis fight in the CG is probably the most “character” oriented fight and i was just very eh about it :/ but i love maki <3

the treatment of the women in the CG recently has just turned me away from the manga in general too. scorpion hair remi girl was fucked, uro not having more of a role was disappointing, yuki DYING wasn’t great.

tsumiki was the reason i didn’t stop reading the manga earlier in the arc because i was looking forward to her having her moment for LITERALLY THE ENTIIREEEE ARC. just for gege to do that to her and it reallllyy pissed me off.

as much as i hate how tsumikis arc went, i think i could’ve been a liiittle bit more accepting of it if the whole yorozu-sukuna thing was done well. but i didn’t like that either LMAO. i think the whole “yorozu loves sukuna and she sees how lonely he is etc” is like. a cool concept overall and i think if it was done right it could’ve been a good addition to the plot. even if there was just a little bit more of a flashback of yorozu and sukuna from that era with more information and context i think it would’ve made it a lot better. and i could’ve been like. a tiny bit less pissed about tsumiki. but the fact that it wasn’t a very satisfying arc for tsumiki OR yorozu just made it all very underwhelming to me. esp since tsumiki was what i was looking forward to the most in this arc 🙃🙃🙃

so yeah this chapter wasnt the worst thing in the world its just very underwhelming bc everything that led up to this was really underwhelming for me too :( and gojos reacction in this chapter is. upsetting. esp following the whole yorozu-sukuna thing and the "sukuna is lonely" part of it. like sukuna and gojo are meant to be foils of each other. gojos character is built around the fact that he has those connections and relationships with his friends and the students and he fell in gay love with geto and he "wont let anyone else be lonely" like the relationships he has is WHY HES LIKE THAATTTTT. him having no reaction to nanamis death and nobaras condition and maki and megumi and ALL of his students feels like a very surface level "gojo is a funny silly goofy guy" thing to do. but i would like to believe that gege knows and cares about his characters more than a surface level interpretation but. idk well see i guess. i just would have liked to see the sukuna-gojo being foils of e/o actually being played out narratively in these past few chapters more. but hopefully there'll be more of that during the next arc.

anyways so like. the chapter itself is not necessarily bad i just think that the CG itself was really abrupt and lacked a lot emotionally/character wise (for me at least), and then the pacing of this whole thing has been really off for me so its hard to look at the whole thing collectively and actually like it lol.

i feel like gege is really just trying to speedrun the rest of the manga and move onto something else which SUCKS bc it has soo much potential to be sooooo good. whatever anyways goodnight.
