I’ll take photos with better lighting tomorrow when the sun is up again, but I’m so happy with how this turned out. I made the bag pattern myself, because I couldn’t find one the size I wanted, and it’s got two patch pockets on the inside because I bought way too much national parks fabric and because pockets are useful

I did a fellowship once that involved going on a two day trip so we all went together in a van and on the way back we gave this girl a ride and she spent the whole drive doing two things simultaneously:

So it turns out if I make this pattern with actual canvas instead of what I thought was canvas (it’s duck cloth) it’s a softer, more “reusable grocery bag” kind of bag and less of a tote?

This one is for my grandma! I think I’m making them for pretty much everyone on my list for the holidays this year

my cats like to steal my snacks so i actually have to physically fight them off while trying to eat some doritos and i have to hide my bag of pistachios in the bathroom cabinet to keep them from dragging it out and ripping holes in it to play with the shells
