Kal: I ask myself that question each time I look at you, see how much I need you, The answer is I won't let you and you won't let me lose sight. When in doubt, I always remember the words of a very wise woman: "Here's your answer: we could not do this apart. We are better this way." They became my motto. I do this for the World, but I also do this for you. I see the joy in your eyes every morning looking at the new day. We have to keep this planet safe to ensure the sunrise keeps happening and I can see it in your pretty face. I know I share your love with this blue ball of mud and water. I'm okay with it. I love it too. The retrocameras of my escape ship showed me the explosion of my homeworld. I want to keep this one as beautiful as it is. It's not always easy, but we are doing it together. We will always be better together, for the sake of the life on Earth. My mission to this planet is my mission to you aswell. Failing is not an option, because it would mean I failed you too.

We can't foresee what tomorrow may bring, but, come what may, we take it day by day and we'll be facing it together.
