I completely understand the "trad wife" debate whereby if a man expects a trad girlfriend, then he should be financially providing for her like in trad relationships.

What I don't understand, nor agree with, is when women complain about paying 50/50 in a 'normal'/ modern dating situation. There's no harm in being able to provide for yourself and take responsibility for yourself in a platonic or romantic situation. If you're not willing to fork out your part this time or next, maybe do something that doesn't require as much financial investment? It just seems fiscally irresponsible otherwise
