BLLK BOYS' CHRISTMAS GIFTS!
chars: isagi yoichi, bachira meguru, itoshi rin, nagi seishiro, chigiri hyoma, mikage reo, hiori yo, shidou ryusei, itoshi sae, michael kaiser, alexis ness x fem! reader (all seperate)
a/n: whew that's a lot of characters.. ;-;
isagi yoichi
he’s overthinking. like, seriously overthinking. this man has researched “best gifts for girlfriends” on google at least five times. a candle? too basic. jewelry? what if you don’t like it? a heartfelt handwritten letter? too corny.
it takes bachira dragging him to a mall (where he immediately gets overwhelmed by the crowds) to finally decide. he ends up picking out a cute sweater that’s totally your style and pairs it with a charm bracelet he thinks would look adorable on you. bonus: he spends an extra half hour wrapping it perfectly. there’s no way he’s messing this up.
... except he accidentally forgets the tag and panics, scribbling a little sticky note with “to the best girlfriend ever :)” right before handing it to you.
bachira meguru
bachira’s gift? chaotic perfection. this man goes all out, no second-guessing. he decides on a custom plushie that looks like you and him as little cartoon characters (it’s both adorable and mildly terrifying, let’s be real).
but that’s not all. he also makes a scrapbook filled with random polaroids of the two of you – some cute, some extremely cursed – and decorates every page with colorful doodles and washi tape.
he doesn’t bother with wrapping paper, though. he hands it to you in a giant gift bag covered in glitter with the words “BEST GIRLFRIEND IN THE WORLD!” written in permanent marker.
rin itoshi
rin claims he doesn’t “do christmas.” yeah, okay, mr. grinch. except he totally does, because he’s secretly been working on his gift for weeks. he gets you something practical but meaningful, like a sleek pair of headphones in your favorite color, engraved with your initials.
oh, and he throws in a tiny sanrio keychain because he noticed you staring at one in a store once. (yes, he remembers these things. don’t ask how.)
he doesn’t say much when he gives it to you, just a quiet “merry christmas” while awkwardly avoiding your gaze. but you catch the little smile when you say you love it, and it’s the best present of all.
nagi seishiro
nagi... completely forgot it was christmas until reo reminded him. but don’t worry, he’s got this! (or so he claims.)
his idea of a “perfect” gift is something chill and cozy – like a weighted blanket and a pair of fluffy socks, because he knows you love staying warm. he wraps them in the most halfhearted way possible, with tape sticking out everywhere and zero attempt at folding the edges.
“it’s what’s inside that counts,” he mumbles when you laugh at the wrapping job. you love it anyway, because it’s so him. and when you catch him napping under that same blanket with you later, you know he secretly loves it too.
chigiri hyoma
chigiri’s gift is effortlessly elegant, just like him. he spends weeks planning it out because he wants everything to be perfect. he gets you a delicate necklace with a tiny charm that reminds him of you – maybe a snowflake or a flower.
but that’s not all. he also bakes you cookies (yes, chigiri bakes, fight me on this) and arranges them in a cute little tin with a handwritten card. the card? it’s filled with heartfelt words that make you tear up just a little.
when you thank him, he gives you one of those soft smiles that makes your heart race. “only the best for you,” he says, like it’s the most obvious thing in the world.
mikage reo
reo spoils you. like, you tried to tell him to keep it small this year, but does reo listen? absolutely not.
his gift is an entire experience – dinner at a fancy restaurant, followed by a private ice-skating session (because, of course, he booked the whole rink). then he hands you a perfectly wrapped box containing the most beautiful dress (or outfit) he picked out just for you.
“i saw it and thought it’d look amazing on you,” he says casually, like he didn’t spend hours agonizing over it. you try to scold him for going overboard, but he just grins. “your happiness is worth it.”
hiori yo
hiori is the thoughtful gift-giver. he listens to every little thing you say and somehow remembers it all.
so when you open his gift, you’re stunned to find it’s exactly what you mentioned months ago – whether it’s a book you wanted to read, a cozy hoodie you loved, or even that random stuffed animal you gushed about once in passing.
he also includes a playlist he made just for you, filled with songs that remind him of you and your time together. when you tell him how much it means to you, he gives you a shy smile and says, “i just wanted to make sure you felt special.”
shidou ryusei
shidou’s gift? utterly unhinged but somehow sweet in the weirdest way possible. he buys you a gigantic stuffed animal—like, it barely fits through the door. why? because he “wants you to think of him when you’re hugging it.” (as if you could forget him even if you tried.)
but wait, there’s more. he also gives you a pair of matching pajamas. yes, matching. one side is obnoxiously pink with sparkly hearts (yours), and the other is black with a neon skull print (his).
when you ask him why, he just smirks and goes, “so everyone knows we’re the ultimate power couple, babe.” obnoxious? yes. thoughtful in his own shidou way? absolutely.
itoshi sae
sae doesn’t do christmas gifts. or so he says. but then he shows up at your place with a sleek little bag in hand, acting like it’s not a big deal.
inside? the perfect pair of winter gloves—luxurious, soft, and in your favorite color. oh, and he picked out a matching scarf, because, in his words, “you’re always complaining about being cold.”
he tries to play it cool when you gush over the gift, but you catch the tiniest smirk when you wrap the scarf around your neck. “don’t make it a big deal,” he mutters, but the way he watches you wear it says otherwise.
michael kaiser
kaiser’s gift is pure drama. he makes an event out of it, because, of course, he has to be the center of attention. he leads you on a whole scavenger hunt through the house, complete with cryptic notes and hints that are honestly harder than necessary.
when you finally reach the last clue, it’s a big box wrapped in glittery gold paper with an obnoxiously large bow. inside? a designer coat that probably cost more than your rent.
“only the best for my empress,” he says with that signature smug grin, pulling you into his arms. when you point out he went way overboard, he shrugs and smirks. “you’re worth it.”
alexis ness
ness is the ultimate cinnamon roll gift-giver. he spends weeks making something special for you—like a scrapbook filled with photos, ticket stubs, and little notes from your time together.
but he also surprises you with something cozy, like a fluffy blanket or a custom sweater he picked out because he knows you’re always cold.
when you thank him, his cheeks turn pink, and he shyly mutters, “i just wanted you to have something that feels like a hug from me.” (stop. he’s too precious.)

Opposite — Rafe Cameron
Part Two
She looks nothing like me So why do you look so happy?
Summary: After seeing her ex-boyfriend Rafe Cameron happily flirting with his new girlfriend Sofia at a party, the reader confronts the painful reality that Sofia is everything she’s not—quiet, effortless, and seemingly perfect for him.
Pairings: ExBF!Rafe Cameron x Reader
Warnings: None
A/N: Y'all really wanted part two, I had to deliver :)
First Part Here
It had been six months since that night at the Kook party, six months since you’d finally walked away from Rafe Cameron. It hadn’t been easy, but you’d found something you didn’t think you’d feel again: peace. Or at least, something close to it.
Your new boyfriend, Noah, had been a big part of that. He was different from Rafe in every way—kind, steady, and, most importantly, honest. He never made you feel like you weren’t enough, never looked at you like he was waiting for someone better to come along.
So when he invited you to dinner at a cozy waterfront restaurant, you thought it would be another perfect evening. The two of you sat at a table on the deck, the ocean breeze sweeping through your hair as the sun dipped below the horizon. You were mid-laugh at one of Noah’s terrible jokes when your eyes caught movement across the patio.
And then you saw him.
Rafe.
He was sitting at a nearby table with Sofia. Her laughter rang out, soft and melodic, as she reached across the table to touch his hand. Rafe leaned back in his chair, his signature smirk plastered across his face.
Your stomach twisted painfully. You hadn’t seen him since that night, and now, here he was, looking as infuriatingly perfect as ever. His gaze shifted, almost like he could sense you staring, and for a brief, agonizing moment, your eyes locked.
He froze, his smirk faltering as recognition flickered across his face.
“Hey, you okay?” Noah’s voice pulled you back to the present.
You tore your eyes away, forcing a smile as you turned to him. “Yeah, I’m fine.”
But you weren’t. Not when you could feel Rafe’s gaze lingering, not when you could still hear Sofia’s laugh cutting through the air like a knife.
The rest of dinner was a blur. Noah kept the conversation light, unaware of the storm raging inside you, but you couldn’t focus. When the check came, you excused yourself to the bathroom, desperate for a moment to breathe.
You had barely made it to the hallway when a familiar voice stopped you in your tracks.
“Y/N.”
You turned slowly, your heart pounding. Rafe was standing there, his hands shoved into the pockets of his jeans, his expression unreadable.
“What do you want, Rafe?” you asked, your voice sharper than you intended.
He hesitated, his blue eyes scanning your face like he was searching for something. “I didn’t know you’d be here.”
“Yeah, well, neither did I,” you said, folding your arms across your chest.
Rafe took a step closer, and you instinctively took one back. He frowned at the distance. “You look... good.”
“Save it,” you snapped. “I’m not interested in whatever game you’re playing.”
“I’m not playing a game,” he said quickly, his voice low but urgent. “I just... I needed to say something.”
You raised an eyebrow, crossing your arms tighter. “What could you possibly have to say to me, Rafe? We’ve already been down this road.”
“I screwed up,” he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.
You blinked, caught off guard. “What?”
“I screwed up,” he repeated, louder this time. “I pushed you away because I was too much of a coward to deal with my own crap. I thought... I thought being with someone easy would fix things. But it didn’t. It doesn’t.”
The words hit you like a punch to the gut. For a moment, all you could do was stare at him, the raw honesty in his voice throwing you off balance.
“Rafe...” you began, but he cut you off.
“I see you with him,” he said, his voice cracking slightly. “And I can’t stand it. I hate that he gets to make you laugh like that, that he gets to hold you, to love you. It should’ve been me.”
You shook your head, the tears stinging your eyes. “You don’t get to do this. You don’t get to come here and say these things after everything.”
“I know,” he said quickly, stepping closer again. “I know I don’t deserve you, but I... I miss you, Y/N. Every day.”
The sound of footsteps behind you made you turn. Noah was standing at the end of the hallway, his brows furrowed in confusion.
“Everything okay here?” he asked, his gaze flicking between you and Rafe.
You wiped at your eyes, forcing a smile. “Yeah. Let’s go.”
You brushed past Rafe without another word, grabbing Noah’s hand as you walked back to the table. But as you left the restaurant, you couldn’t shake the feeling of Rafe’s eyes on you, the weight of his words sinking deep into your chest.
Even as Noah laced his fingers with yours, offering the kind of steady warmth you knew you deserved, part of you couldn’t help but look back.
————————————
The drive home with Noah was quiet, the silence in the car thicker than usual. You stared out the window, the streetlights flashing by in a blur, but your mind was stuck in that hallway, with Rafe’s words looping endlessly in your head.
“I miss you. Every day.”
Noah must have noticed your distraction. He reached over, placing a comforting hand on your thigh. “You’ve been quiet since we left. You sure you’re okay?”
You hesitated, the lump in your throat making it hard to speak. “I’m fine,” you said softly, though the words felt hollow.
When Noah dropped you off, he kissed your forehead and promised to call you in the morning. As his car pulled away, you stood on your porch, staring at the empty street. The quiet of the night pressed in, but your thoughts were anything but calm.
Rafe’s voice haunted you. His confession had cracked something open inside you, something you’d buried deep to protect yourself.
It wasn’t fair. You were happy now. Weren’t you?
But deep down, you knew the truth. You hadn’t been happy—not completely—since Rafe.
With a shaky breath, you unlocked your door and stepped inside. You barely made it to the couch before your phone buzzed. For a moment, you thought it might be Noah, checking in again. But when you looked at the screen, your heart dropped.
Rafe: I know I shouldn’t have said anything. I just needed you to know.
You stared at the message, your thumb hovering over the keyboard. You knew responding would only complicate things, but your heart had other plans.
You: Rafe, I can’t do this right now.
His reply came almost instantly.
Rafe: Please. Just give me five minutes. If you don’t want to talk after that, I’ll leave you alone.
You closed your eyes, your mind a whirlwind of emotions. Against your better judgment, you typed out a response.
You: Fine. Five minutes.
————————————
Rafe was on your doorstep less than fifteen minutes later. He looked hesitant, his usual confidence replaced with something you rarely saw in him: vulnerability.
“You really don’t waste time, do you?” you said, your arms crossed as you leaned against the doorframe.
He gave a weak smile. “Didn’t want to give you a chance to change your mind.”
You stepped aside, letting him in. The air in the room was heavy as you sat down on the couch, leaving a noticeable gap between you.
“Talk,” you said, your tone guarded.
Rafe leaned forward, his elbows resting on his knees as he stared at the floor. For a moment, you thought he might not say anything at all. But then, he took a deep breath.
“I’ve been an idiot,” he began, his voice low. “I thought I could move on, that being with Sofia would make me forget you. But it didn’t. Nothing does. I’ve been trying to figure out what to say to you for months, but every time I tried, I just... froze.”
You stayed silent, your arms tightening around yourself.
“I know I hurt you,” he continued, his voice cracking slightly. “And I know I don’t deserve a second chance. But I’m asking for one anyway.”
You looked at him, your heart aching at the raw emotion in his eyes. “Why now, Rafe? Why wait until I finally moved on?”
“Because I’m a coward,” he admitted, his gaze meeting yours. “I was scared of how much I needed you. But seeing you tonight, with him... it made me realize I can’t keep pretending. I love you, Y/N. I never stopped.”
The words hung in the air, heavy and overwhelming. You felt tears prick at your eyes, but you fought them back. “You don’t get to do this,” you whispered. “You don’t get to break me and then come back like this.”
“I know,” he said, his voice breaking. “But I’ll do whatever it takes to fix it. I’ll wait as long as you need. Just tell me there’s a chance.”
The tears finally spilled over, and you turned away, wiping at your face. “Do you have any idea how hard it was to let you go? To try and move on?”
“I do,” he said softly. “And I hate myself for putting you through that. But I swear, I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you, if you’ll let me.”
You looked back at him, your chest tightening as you saw the sincerity in his eyes. You wanted to stay strong, to protect yourself from the pain he’d caused. But the truth was, you still loved him.
You always had.
With a shaky breath, you closed the gap between you, your hands trembling as you reached for his. “If you hurt me again, Rafe... I won’t survive it.”
His hands enveloped yours, warm and steady. “I won’t. I promise, I won’t.”
He leaned in slowly, giving you every chance to pull away. But you didn’t. When his lips finally met yours, it felt like coming home. The kiss was soft and full of unspoken promises, his hands cradling your face like you were something fragile, something precious.
When you finally pulled away, he rested his forehead against yours, his breath mingling with yours. “I love you,” he whispered.
You closed your eyes, letting the words wash over you. For the first time in months, the ache in your chest began to ease.
“I love you too,” you whispered back, your voice barely audible.
And for the first time in what felt like forever, you let yourself believe in a future where love didn’t have to hurt.

In the Heart of November- Lando Norris
ღ
In honour of our little Lando’s birthday, enjoy🫶🏻
ღ
The evening air was cool, carrying the crisp bite of late November, as Lando pulled up to the small, intimate restaurant in London. Nestled away from the busy streets, this place held a special charm, chosen specifically for its warm, quiet atmosphere—a place where he could celebrate his birthday with only his closest friends. As he stepped inside, he took in the cozy ambiance. The soft glow of candlelight flickered off the wooden tables, and the gentle hum of quiet conversations surrounded him, giving the room a sense of familiarity and comfort. But despite the company of his friends, Lando’s thoughts were somewhere else.
Or, rather, with someone else. He checked his phone for any messages, trying not to seem too eager. She was supposed to arrive soon. They’d been friends for a while now, ever since they’d first met through the world of Formula 1. She worked in a legal role with McLaren, and their paths had crossed unexpectedly during a team event. What had started as casual conversations about racing, contracts, and the challenges of the sport had grown into a friendship filled with laughter, shared dreams, and mutual understanding. She’d become someone he could talk to—someone who understood the pressures he faced, not just as a driver but as a young man trying to make his mark.
It was during the long hours between races, in the quiet moments away from the track, that he found himself drawn to her. She grounded him, reminding him to enjoy the little things. When he was around her, he could set aside the high expectations and just be Lando. They had developed an easy rapport, and over time, his feelings had shifted from friendship to something deeper, something he couldn’t ignore. But tonight, he wasn’t sure if she felt the same. All he knew was that he wanted her there.
Then the door opened, and she walked in. Wrapped in a dark, elegant coat, her cheeks flushed pink from the cold, she looked radiant. Her hair was slightly tousled, her eyes bright as they met his from across the room. She paused, scanning the restaurant for him, and when their eyes met, she gave him a warm smile. For a moment, everything else faded into the background. He stood to greet her, his heart pounding in his chest as he tried to keep his face calm and casual.
“You made it,” he said, his voice softer than he intended.
She laughed lightly, a sound he always found himself looking forward to. “Of course I did. It’s your birthday—wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
They hugged briefly, a touch that felt both familiar and electric, and he led her to their table. The night unfolded with laughter and easy conversation. Around the table, their friends told stories from races and travels, the room filled with lighthearted jokes. Yet, despite the crowd, it felt like the two of them were in their own little bubble. Lando would find himself glancing at her, noticing the way she laughed, the way her hand sometimes brushed against his arm as they leaned in to share quiet words. She listened intently to his stories, her eyes lighting up when he talked about his dreams and the challenges he faced. There was an ease between them, a familiarity that made every moment feel special.
As dinner drew on, each of his friends took a turn presenting their gifts, filling the evening with laughter and warmth. Finally, it was her turn. She pulled out a small, beautifully wrapped box, holding it out to him with a smile that was both shy and knowing. Lando looked at her, feeling his curiosity pique as he gently untied the ribbon, careful not to rush. Inside, nestled in a bed of dark velvet, was a watch. It was simple yet elegant, with a sleek black leather band and a timeless face. His fingers brushed over the engraving on the back, reading the small, precise words she had chosen: “Drive with your heart.”
Lando’s throat tightened as he read it, his heart swelling with a mixture of gratitude and something deeper. She looked at him with a softness in her eyes, and he sensed there was more to this gift than just its material worth. She had chosen something meaningful, something that spoke to who he was, and it was as if she had seen through all the layers he tried to hide. For a moment, he was overcome, unsure of what to say. He looked up, catching her gaze, and held it.
“It’s a reminder,” she said softly, her voice just for him. “For all the times when things get difficult, when you need to remember why you’re doing this. You have so much heart, Lando, and I just… I wanted you to know that.”
Her words stirred something in him, a warmth that he had rarely felt before. “Thank you,” he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. “I don’t think you realize how much this means to me.”
For a moment, they sat in silence, his hand resting on the box, her hand resting close to his on the table. The air between them felt charged, filled with everything they hadn’t said. He wanted to reach out, to take her hand, to tell her what had been on his mind for months. But instead, he held back, savoring the quiet connection between them. The evening carried on, but Lando’s thoughts stayed on that watch, on her words, and on the growing realization that this was more than friendship.
As the night wound down, they stepped outside, and he offered her a ride home. She agreed, and soon they were side by side in his car, the city lights flickering past them in a blur. The ride was quiet, but not uncomfortable. It was as if they were both waiting for something, some unspoken understanding that hung in the air between them. Every now and then, he would glance over, catching her gaze as she looked out the window, her profile softened by the streetlights. He wanted to say something, anything, but he didn’t want to ruin the moment.
Finally, they arrived at her apartment. He parked, leaving the engine idling as he turned to her, his heart beating faster with every passing second. The warmth of the car was a stark contrast to the cool November air outside, and he was suddenly aware of just how close they were. He looked at her, his gaze lingering on her face, her eyes, the gentle curve of her smile.
“Thank you for tonight,” he said softly, his voice barely more than a whisper. “And for the gift. It’s… it’s perfect.”
She turned to him, her eyes meeting his with a look that seemed to hold a thousand unspoken words. “I’m just glad you liked it,” she replied, her voice gentle.
The silence stretched between them, filled with possibilities. Lando’s heart raced as he reached out, his fingers brushing her hand, testing the boundaries. She didn’t pull away. Instead, she leaned in slightly, her eyes never leaving his. Their faces were close now, so close he could feel her breath against his skin, warm and inviting. He couldn’t hold back any longer.
Slowly, he leaned in, closing the space between them. His lips met hers, soft and tentative at first, as if they were both afraid to break the spell. She responded, her hand finding his, fingers intertwining as the kiss deepened. It was gentle and sweet, a kiss filled with all the words they hadn’t spoken, a silent promise between them. Time seemed to stop, the world falling away until there was only her, and the feeling of her hand in his.
When they finally pulled back, he looked at her, his heart full and his mind racing. She smiled, a soft, knowing smile that told him she’d felt it too.
“Happy birthday, Lando,” she whispered, her voice a warm breath against his lips.
Lando squeezed her hand, a smile spreading across his face as he took in the moment. “Best birthday ever,” he murmured, and he knew, deep down, that this was just the beginning of something extraordinary.

Derek's brow furrowed as he nudged Spencer with his elbow, his eyes fixated on the scene unfolding before them. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, pretty boy," Derek said, his voice laced with concern and disbelief. "Isn't that your girlfriend?"
Spencer's gaze followed Derek's, landing on you. There you were, seated at a cozy table in the dimly lit restaurant, your laughter ringing out as you leaned closer to the person across from you. The person who was most definitely not Spencer. His heart tightened in his chest as he watched you, the familiarity of your smile now directed at someone else, someone who wasn’t him.
"Not anymore," Spencer replied, his voice flat, though a subtle tremor betrayed the emotions he was fighting to keep under wraps. He forced himself to look away, focusing on a random spot on the wall instead of the painful image of you with someone new.
Derek shot him a sideways glance, his brow still creased with confusion. "What? I thought you two were solid?" His tone was cautious, as if he was treading on fragile ground.
Emily, who had been silent up until now, leaned in, her eyes filled with a mix of surprise and sympathy. "The operative word there being ‘were’?" she asked gently, seeking confirmation.
Spencer gave a small, almost imperceptible nod. "Yeah," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Things changed."
For a moment, there was a heavy silence between them, the weight of the situation sinking in. Derek and Emily exchanged a look, both of them unsure of how to respond. They had seen Spencer go through so much, and this seemed like another cruel twist of fate.
Finally, Derek let out a sigh, clapping a reassuring hand on Spencer's shoulder. "You know we're here for you, right? Whatever you need, man."
Emily nodded in agreement, her eyes soft with understanding. "You don’t have to go through this alone, Spencer. We’re your family."
Spencer offered them a small, appreciative smile, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. "Thanks," he said quietly, his gaze once again drifting to where you sat, laughing and unaware of the turmoil just a few tables away.
The sight was like a dagger to his heart, but he forced himself to look away again, determined not to let his emotions get the better of him. He had to be strong, even if it felt like the ground beneath him was crumbling away.
Spencer didn't feel like he deserved the comfort his friends were providing him currently, he was the one who ruined things between the two of you.
—
Six months ago...
You stood in your small kitchen, the phone pressed to your ear as you listened to the familiar, upbeat tone of Penelope Garcia. "Beautiful tech genius speaking, how may I help you, gorgeous?" she answered, her voice as bright as ever. It was her way of bringing a bit of lightness into every conversation, and usually, it worked. But today, despite the warmth in her greeting, you couldn't shake the tightness in your chest.
"Hey, Pen," you responded, forcing a laugh even though your heart felt like it was being squeezed. The words tasted bitter as you prepared to ask the question you had grown to hate. "Is Spencer busy right now?"
You loathed asking that question. It had become a routine, a ritual almost, to call Penelope and ask about Spencer’s whereabouts because he hadn’t bothered to tell you himself. It was embarrassing, really, that you had to rely on his colleague to know what your own boyfriend was up to. The person he should have been sharing his life with.
There was a slight pause on the other end, and then you heard it—the pity in Penelope's voice that you dreaded so much. "Oh, honey," she said softly, her tone drenched in sympathy. "The team left a few hours ago on a case."
"Oh," you managed to say, but your voice cracked, betraying the tears that were already threatening to spill over. You sniffled, trying to keep it together, but the ache in your chest only grew sharper. "Can you tell me where they went?"
"Yeah, sweetie, they’re in Kansas," Penelope replied gently, and you could almost feel her reaching out to hug you through the phone.
"Thanks, Pen," you whispered, your throat tight as you fought to keep the tears at bay.
"Of course, take care, okay?" Penelope's concern was evident, but there was nothing she could do from where she was. She had seen too much to offer false hope, but she still cared enough to try to comfort you in any way she could.
You hung up, standing there in the silence of your kitchen, the reality of the situation washing over you like a cold wave. It had been like this for a couple of months now—Spencer leaving without a word, not feeling the need to let you know when he and the team were swept away on a case. The man who once called you just to say goodnight was now a distant figure, more involved in his work than in your relationship.
The last time you had confronted him about it, his response had cut deeper than you ever expected. “We’ve been together for over a year, Y/N. Do you not trust me? Why do you have to be on top of me constantly?” His words echoed in your mind, the memory still fresh and painful.
“Spencer… I just like to know where you are and that you’re safe," you had explained, your voice tinged with desperation as you tried to make him understand. "What if something happens to me or you, or someone we love, and I don’t know where you are or how to get a hold of you?”
But instead of understanding, Spencer had just looked at you with frustration in his eyes, as if your concerns were an inconvenience to him. “I don’t understand why you need to know where I am 24/7,” he had said, his tone dismissive.
And so it had continued—this growing distance between you, each day a little more painful than the last. Now, as you stood there with tears slipping down your cheeks, you couldn’t help but wonder if this was how it would always be. If the man you loved was slipping away, and there was nothing you could do to stop it.
—
Present
To anyone watching, you and your date looked like the picture of a perfect evening. The two of you sat across from each other at a small, candlelit table in the charming bistro, the flickering glow casting warm, soft shadows over your faces. You smiled at all the right moments, nodded thoughtfully as they spoke, and even laughed at their jokes. The waiter who passed by with a tray of desserts might have thought you were a couple deeply engrossed in each other, enjoying the bliss of a night out.
But inside, you felt nothing. It was as if a thick, impenetrable wall had gone up around your heart, leaving you detached from everything that was happening. You went through the motions—smiling, nodding, making polite conversation—but it was all a performance, a carefully crafted facade that hid the emptiness gnawing at you from within.
Your date was saying something funny, and you forced another laugh, just loud enough to seem genuine. They smiled back, clearly pleased with themselves, and you returned the gesture with a bright, practiced smile. You knew how to do this—how to pretend everything was fine, how to play the role of someone who was fully engaged in the moment. But underneath that polished exterior, you were numb, a hollow shell left behind after months of emotional exhaustion.
The memory of Spencer loomed large in your mind, a constant, oppressive presence that wouldn’t leave you alone. His cold words, his dismissal, the way he had slowly pushed you out of his life until you were left with nothing but your own loneliness—it all haunted you, a shadow you couldn’t escape. And now, sitting here with someone who was kind and attentive, you realized how far away you still were from truly moving on.
Your date reached across the table, lightly touching your hand, and you didn’t flinch. Instead, you smiled softly and let your fingers curl around theirs, mimicking the gesture of affection as if it were second nature. They seemed to take comfort in it, their face lighting up with hope, and you felt a pang of guilt for leading them on, even though it wasn’t intentional.
You could feel their eyes on you, searching for that connection, that spark that should have been there. But there was nothing—no flutter of excitement, no warmth in your chest, just the cold, empty numbness that had taken up residence in your soul.
The conversation continued, your responses automatic and well-practiced, but your mind was elsewhere, trapped in the past, replaying moments you wished you could forget. You knew you should be present, that you should give this person the chance they deserved, but the weight of your own numbness was too much to overcome.
And so the evening went on, the two of you laughing, smiling, and talking, while the truth remained hidden beneath the surface. To anyone watching, it looked like you were having a wonderful time. But only you knew the reality—that you were just faking it, lost in a world of your own, desperately trying to feel something, anything, but unable to break free from the numb shell Spencer had left behind.

Four months ago...
The tension in the room was thick enough to cut with a knife. You stood in the middle of the living room, your arms wrapped tightly around yourself as if that would somehow shield you from the pain you knew was coming. Spencer was on the opposite side, his posture rigid, his expression a mix of frustration and exhaustion. This wasn’t the first argument you’d had recently, but it was certainly the worst.
“Spencer, I’m not trying to control you!” you pleaded, your voice trembling with the effort to keep your emotions in check. “I just want to know what’s going on in your life! I want to be a part of it, like I used to be.”
Spencer sighed, running a hand through his hair in a gesture that screamed exasperation. “You say that, but it feels like you’re suffocating me, Y/N. Every time I turn around, it’s another question about where I am, who I’m with, what I’m doing. It’s too much.”
Your heart clenched at his words, the sting of them cutting deeper than you’d expected. “I just want to feel like I matter to you,” you whispered, tears welling up in your eyes. “Like this relationship still matters to you.”
Spencer’s face softened for a moment, but the frustration was still there, simmering just beneath the surface. “Of course, you matter to me,” he said, though the words lacked the warmth and sincerity you so desperately needed to hear. “But you’re making this so hard, Y/N. Every time we talk, it turns into an argument.”
“Because you keep shutting me out!” you shot back, your voice rising despite your efforts to stay calm. “You don’t tell me anything anymore! I’m the last person to know when you’re leaving, when you’re coming back. It’s like I don’t even exist to you when you’re at work!”
“That’s not fair,” Spencer replied, his tone growing defensive. “You know how demanding my job is. I don’t have time to check in constantly.”
“I’m not asking for constant check-ins,” you retorted, the frustration bubbling over now. “I’m asking for you to care enough to let me in! To let me know when something’s wrong, or when you’re going to be gone for days on end. I’m your partner, Spencer, or at least I thought I was.”
The silence that followed your words was deafening. Spencer looked away, his jaw clenched, as if he was trying to keep himself from saying something he’d regret. You could see the conflict in his eyes, the battle between wanting to comfort you and wanting to pull away.
Finally, he spoke, his voice low and strained. “Maybe… maybe we need some space,” he suggested, each word like a dagger to your heart.
“Space?” you echoed, the word foreign and terrifying. “You think that’s going to fix this?”
“I don’t know,” Spencer admitted, his shoulders sagging as if the weight of the world was pressing down on him. “But I do know that what we’re doing right now isn’t working.”
You stared at him, the man you loved more than anything, and felt the ground shift beneath you. This wasn’t just an argument; this was the beginning of something you had feared for months. The beginning of the end.
“Spencer,” you began, your voice breaking as the tears finally spilled over, “please don’t do this. We can figure it out, we can—”
“I’m not saying we’re breaking up,” Spencer interrupted, though his tone did little to reassure you. “I just… I need to think. I need to figure out what’s going on with me, with us.”
You nodded, though the movement felt hollow. “Okay,” you whispered, even though every fiber of your being was screaming that it wasn’t okay. Nothing about this was okay.
Without another word, Spencer turned and left the room, leaving you standing there, alone, the silence of the apartment pressing in on you like a suffocating weight. You didn’t know if you would ever be able to breathe again.
—
Present
Spencer sat at a table near the back of the bistro, his eyes locked onto you from across the room. The soft hum of conversation and clinking of silverware faded into the background as he watched you laugh, your head tilting slightly as you shared a light moment with your date. Your hand was resting on the table, fingers intertwined with theirs, and the sight sent a sharp, searing pain through his chest, like a hot knife twisting deeper with every second that passed.
Derek and Emily sat on either side of him, their expressions filled with concern as they noticed his focus on you. It hadn’t taken long for them to spot you when they walked in, and they had exchanged uneasy glances, silently debating whether or not they should suggest leaving. But Spencer had insisted it was fine, forcing a tight-lipped smile that didn’t reach his eyes. He’d said it didn’t bother him, that it was no big deal, but the truth was a far cry from that casual dismissal.
“Spencer,” Emily had whispered, leaning in close so only he could hear, “we can go somewhere else. It’s not a problem.”
But Spencer had shaken his head, his gaze never leaving you. “No, really, it’s fine,” he had replied, his voice steady, though the turmoil inside him was anything but. He needed to see this, to witness how your date went, as if punishing himself by watching you with someone else would somehow make up for the mistakes he had made. Not that he’d admitted that to Derek and Emily. They would never understand the twisted logic he was following, the way he felt like he deserved every ounce of the pain that was currently eating him alive.
It was ironic, really. He had once hated the thought of you tracking his every move, of you wanting to know where he was, who he was with, and what he was doing. It had suffocated him, made him feel like he was being controlled, watched over like a child. But now, here he was, insisting on staying in this very restaurant just to watch you on a date with someone else—because he had pushed you away, because he had been the one to break up with you.
And now, as he watched you smile at someone else, someone who was clearly making you happy, Spencer felt the full weight of his regret crash down on him. He had thought he needed space, thought that pushing you away would give him the clarity he so desperately sought. But instead, all he had done was lose you, and now he was faced with the brutal reality of what that meant.
You looked so radiant as you sat there, the candlelight reflecting off your eyes, your laughter light and genuine as you leaned closer to your date. It was a sound that used to fill his own life with warmth, a sound he had taken for granted. Now, it felt like a distant memory, something he could only watch from afar as someone else got to experience it.
He didn’t realize he was gripping his fork so tightly until Derek nudged him, snapping him out of his trance. “You sure you’re okay, man?” Derek asked, his voice low and cautious, as if he were afraid to push too hard.
Spencer forced himself to nod, though the tightness in his throat made it difficult to speak. “Yeah, I’m fine,” he managed, though the words were hollow. He wasn’t fine, not even close, but admitting that would mean facing the depth of his mistake, and he wasn’t ready for that—not yet.
Emily exchanged another worried glance with Derek, but they both respected Spencer’s decision to stay, even if they didn’t understand it. They made small talk, trying to distract him, but Spencer’s attention kept drifting back to you. Every time he saw your fingers intertwined with your date’s, a fresh wave of jealousy and regret washed over him, threatening to drown him in its intensity.
He had never imagined it would feel like this, watching you move on with someone else. The emptiness, the burning jealousy, the sharp pang of regret—it was all more than he had anticipated. And the worst part was that he knew he had no one to blame but himself.
As your date reached out to brush a stray lock of hair behind your ear, the gesture so intimate and tender, Spencer felt something inside him crack. He had once been the one to do that, to touch you like that, to make you laugh like that. And now, he had thrown it all away.
The irony was unbearable. He had been so desperate to keep his freedom, to avoid feeling trapped, and now he was the one imprisoned—imprisoned by the sight of you with someone else, knowing he had made the biggest mistake of his life.

Three months ago…
You lay in bed, the phone pressed to your ear as you listened to the familiar, comforting voice on the other end. "Supreme goddess of gadgets, how may I help you?" Penelope answered, her usual cheerfulness evident, though there was a faint hesitation in her tone, as if she already knew what was coming.
"Hey, Pen…" Your voice was weak, almost defeated. You could barely muster the energy to speak, the weight of everything crushing you from the inside out.
There was a brief pause before Penelope responded, her voice softer now. "Y/N… hi, how are you?" Her question was gentle, cautious, as if she were afraid of what your answer might be.
"Surviving," you replied, the word feeling like a lie even as it left your lips. "Um, you know what I’m going to ask."
A heavy silence followed your words, the kind that made your heart sink deeper into the pit of despair you had been living in for months. Finally, Penelope spoke, her voice filled with regret. "I do, sweetie… He asked me not to tell you anything. I’m so sorry."
The words hit you like a punch to the gut, knocking the air out of your lungs. You managed to choke out a quick "Thanks, Pen," before you hung up, not wanting her to hear the sob that was already clawing its way up your throat.
As soon as the line went dead, you let it out—a heart-wrenching cry that seemed to come from the very depths of your soul. You curled up on your bed, clutching the pillow as if it could somehow hold you together while everything else in your life was falling apart. The tears streamed down your face, hot and relentless, as the reality of your situation washed over you in waves of pain.
Hours later, Spencer came home, his presence filling the room with an unbearable tension. "Space" had ended just last week, but things had not returned to normal—far from it. He walked in, glanced at you briefly, and his expression was cold, detached, as if he didn’t even recognize the woman lying in bed, broken and defeated.
“This can’t continue,” he said, his voice devoid of any warmth or affection. It was a statement, not a question, and you knew he had already made up his mind.
You didn’t respond. You couldn’t. The numbness had taken over, a merciful shield against the pain that had consumed you for so long. You stared at the ceiling, your eyes glassy and vacant, as if you were no longer truly present in your own life.
Spencer’s next words were like nails in the coffin of your relationship. “You and me? Done. You calling and checking in on me like I’m a fucking child? Done. I want you out. This is still my apartment.”
His words hung in the air, each one driving the knife deeper into your heart. But you just nodded, your body moving on autopilot because your mind was too shattered to do anything else. You had known this was coming, had felt it creeping up on you like a dark cloud ready to unleash a storm. But knowing hadn’t made it any easier.
Without another word, Spencer turned and left the room, the sound of the door closing behind him echoing in the silence that followed. You didn’t move. You didn’t cry. You just lay there, feeling as though a part of you had died, leaving behind nothing but an empty shell.
And in that moment, you realized that the person you had once loved more than anything was truly gone, and there was no getting him back.
—
Present
You stand from the table, your heart heavy and your mind made up. This evening was never going to be what either of you hoped for, and you knew it was time to go home, to retreat into the solitude that had become your only solace. You had no illusions about what the rest of the night would hold—probably a bottle of wine, more than you should drink alone, and a sad movie to keep you company as you cried over the pieces of your broken heart.
As you turned to push in your chair, your eyes caught sight of something—or rather, someone—that stopped you cold. There, across the room, was Spencer. His familiar form sat rigid at a table, flanked by Derek and Emily, but it was his eyes that rooted you to the spot. Those eyes that had once brought you warmth and comfort, that had been the anchor in your life, now held an emotion you’d never seen in them before. It was raw, intense, and so deeply conflicted that it sent a shiver down your spine.
For a moment, the world around you faded, and all you could see were those eyes—eyes that had once looked at you with such love, now filled with something else entirely. Regret? Jealousy? Pain? You couldn’t quite place it, but it was enough to make your breath hitch in your throat, your heart lurching painfully in your chest.
Before you could think too long about what you were seeing, your date's hand gently rested on your lower back, pulling you back into the present. The warmth of their touch contrasted sharply with the cold, hollow feeling that had settled in your chest. They guided you out of the bistro, their hand steady as they led you toward the door, completely unaware of the storm that had just passed through your mind.
You didn’t look back, though every part of you wanted to. The urge to turn around, to meet Spencer’s eyes one more time and maybe, just maybe, understand what was swirling in them, was overwhelming. But you kept moving forward, your body on autopilot as you stepped out into the cool night air, leaving behind the painful memories and the man who had once meant everything to you.
As you walked away, the noise of the city filled the void where your thoughts should have been, but you couldn’t shake the image of Spencer’s eyes from your mind. Even as your date tried to engage you in conversation, their words fell on deaf ears. All you could think about was the look in Spencer’s eyes and how, for the first time, you had seen something in them that you hadn’t before—something that made you wonder if he, too, was feeling the sting of the choices he had made.
—
“I’ll be back,” Spencer said abruptly, his voice tinged with urgency as he stood up from the table. He didn’t wait for a response from Derek or Emily, who exchanged worried glances, their faces mirroring a mix of empathy and concern. They both knew how deeply Spencer had been affected by the breakup, and while they wanted to support him, they weren’t sure if following you was the healthiest choice. But Spencer was already moving, weaving through the tables with a determined stride, leaving his friends to watch helplessly as he made his way toward the exit.
Outside, the cool night air hit Spencer like a splash of cold water, sharpening his senses as he scanned the street for you. His heart pounded in his chest, the knot of anxiety tightening with every passing second. Then, he spotted you a short distance away, saying goodbye to your date. The two of you stood under the soft glow of a streetlamp, exchanging polite farewells, and Spencer watched as your date smiled kindly before turning to walk away. The knot in his chest loosened just a fraction, relief mingling with the anxiety that still churned within him.
He knew this was his moment. If he didn’t speak to you now, he might never get the chance again. Swallowing the lump in his throat, Spencer took a deep breath and walked toward you, his heart racing as he rehearsed what he would say in his mind. But when he reached you, all those carefully planned words evaporated, leaving him standing there, feeling more vulnerable than he ever had.
“Y/N,” he called out, his voice softer than he intended, but it carried enough weight to make you stop in your tracks. You looked up so quickly, your eyes wide with surprise and something else—something that made Spencer’s heart skip a beat. The silence stretched between you, heavy and loaded with everything unsaid.
For a moment, neither of you spoke. You just stood there, stunned, as if you couldn’t quite believe he was really there in front of you. The last time you had seen him, it had been under such different circumstances, and now here he was, the same man yet somehow different. The memories of your last encounter flashed through your mind, bringing with them a flood of emotions that threatened to overwhelm you.
“Hi,” Spencer tried again, his voice trembling slightly as he searched your face for any sign of how you were feeling. He could see the confusion, the hurt, the questions all swirling in your eyes, but you didn’t say anything. You just looked at him, as if you were trying to make sense of why he was standing in front of you now, after all this time.
“Can we talk?” he asked, his tone pleading, as if he were afraid you might turn and walk away before he had the chance to explain himself.
—
“Spencer, stop moving!” you laughed, your voice bubbling with amusement as you tried to steady his hand. He squirmed slightly in his seat, a playful smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
“It tickles!” he protested, his voice filled with mock indignation as he wiggled his fingers in your grasp.
You chuckled, shaking your head in disbelief. “I don’t think you can be tickled on your nails, Spencer. You’re being dramatic.”
He huffed teasingly, his eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint. “I don’t see why you needed to paint my nails,” he said, though there was no real annoyance in his tone—just the warm affection that always colored your playful moments together.
“Because,” you replied, focusing on applying the nail polish with care, “I got a new color, and my nails look too pretty to take it off right now. So you’re the lucky volunteer.”
Spencer watched you as you worked, the gentle concentration on your face making his heart swell with warmth. He loved these quiet, silly moments with you, where the world seemed to fade away and all that mattered was the laughter and lightness you brought into his life.
“Well, I’m honored,” Spencer said with a mockingly serious tone, though his eyes betrayed the laughter he was holding back. “But what if they look better than yours?” he teased, a playful smirk tugging at his lips.
“Then I’ll have to break up with you,” you teased right back, trying to keep a straight face.
“Don’t even joke about that! I’d die without you!” Spencer exclaimed dramatically, his eyes widening in mock horror.
“Oh, shush,” you replied, smiling so big that you thought your heart might burst from how much you loved him.
“I’m serious,” he continued, his voice softening as he looked at you with all the love in the world. “If they look better than yours, you have to stay with me, despite the jealousy. I love you too much to let you leave.”
Your heart swelled at his words, and you reached out to gently cup his face. “I would never leave you, Spence.”
“Ditto,” he said, his voice full of warmth and sincerity.
You leaned in for a sweet, smiley kiss, sealing the promise between you both. It was a kiss filled with love, with the kind of joy that made everything else fade away, leaving just the two of you and the unspoken vow that you would always be there for each other, no matter what.
—
Present
You nodded slowly, still unable to find your voice. The shock of seeing him again, the man who had left you so broken, was enough to leave you speechless. But there was something in his eyes, something raw and vulnerable, that made you pause. Maybe it was the way he was looking at you now, with an intensity you hadn’t seen in so long, that made you want to hear him out.
Without another word, Spencer gestured toward a nearby bench, and you followed him silently, your mind still reeling from the unexpected encounter. As you sat down, the distance between you feeling both too close and too far, you wondered what he could possibly say that would change anything. But you knew you had to hear it, whatever it was, because despite everything, a part of you still needed closure—or maybe, deep down, you hoped for something more.
Spencer sat beside you, the tension between the two of you almost tangible as he struggled to find the right words. His mind was a whirlwind of confusion and regret, a chaotic mess that made it nearly impossible to articulate what he was feeling. He hadn’t planned for this, hadn’t even thought about what he would do if he ever saw you again. He had tried to put you out of his mind, to bury the pain and guilt deep inside, because it was easier than facing what he had done.
But now, sitting next to you, the reality of his actions weighed on him like a heavy stone, and he could see the hurt and anger in your eyes. You were waiting for him to speak, but the silence stretched on, growing more uncomfortable by the second.
Finally, your patience snapped. “What do you want?” you asked, your voice sharp and cutting, a clear sign of the anger brewing inside you.
Spencer flinched at your tone, the pain of your words like a physical blow. “I don’t know, honestly,” he admitted, his voice weak and uncertain.
“Bye,” you said coldly, turning to leave, the finality in your tone making it clear you were done with this conversation.
Panic surged through Spencer, and before he could stop himself, he reached out and grabbed your wrist, desperate to keep you from walking away. “No, Y/N, wait,” he pleaded, his voice trembling.
But you quickly shook off his touch, anger flaring in your eyes. “You absolutely do not get to touch me,” you snapped, your voice hard as steel.
“I’m sorry,” Spencer stammered, his hand dropping to his side, feeling the sting of rejection.
“For touching me or something else?” you demanded, your voice laced with bitterness.
“Everything,” he whispered, his eyes filled with remorse.
You let out a harsh, humorless laugh, the sound bitter in the quiet night air. “Well, since you clearly don’t know what to say, let me start,” you said, finding your voice with a strength that surprised even you. Spencer opened his mouth to speak, but you quickly held up your hand, silencing him. “It’s my turn to speak, do not interrupt me.” He nodded, his heart sinking as he braced himself for the words he knew were coming.
“I cared about you, Spencer,” you began, your voice steady but filled with the weight of all the pain you had been carrying. “I thought you cared about me too. All I ever wanted was to be a first thought, but instead, I was an afterthought. Wanting to know when my partner—and my roommate—was going to be in a different state doesn’t seem like a lot to ask.”
Spencer’s throat tightened as he listened, the truth of your words cutting him to the core. But he knew better than to speak, knew that you deserved this moment to say everything he had never let you say before.
“And then,” you continued, your voice growing more intense, “to go and tell your coworker—someone I considered a friend—not to tell me anything about you anymore? God, that’s so fucking mean, Spencer. You were mean to me.”
You took a deep breath, steadying yourself, proud that you hadn’t let the tears fall, even though they were threatening to spill over. “I never once accused you of cheating, or even thought that you were doing anything behind my back,” you said, your voice softer now, but no less filled with hurt. “I didn’t ask for constant attention or updates. I didn’t yell at you, belittle you, or blame you. All I wanted was for you to care about me. And you didn’t.”
Spencer felt the shame wash over him, the weight of your words pressing down on him until he thought he might break. But he stayed silent, letting you continue, because you deserved to have your say.
“And yet, you dragged out the end of our relationship instead of having the decency to put me out of my misery,” you said, your voice trembling with the effort to keep your emotions in check. “I wanted to fix things—as pathetic as that feels now—I wanted to work it out with you. But it’s clear now that you always knew the end was coming.”
Spencer’s heart shattered at your words, the realization of how deeply he had hurt you hitting him like a freight train. He had been so wrapped up in his own fears and insecurities that he had never truly considered the impact his actions were having on you. And now, hearing you lay it all out so plainly, he was struck by the enormity of what he had lost.
“Y/N,” he began, his voice barely a whisper, but you shook your head, cutting him off once more.
“No, Spencer,” you said, your voice firm, the strength in it catching him off guard. “I don’t need an apology. I needed you to be there when it mattered, and you weren’t. So, tell me, why weren’t you there?”
The question hung in the air between you, heavy and piercing, demanding an answer that Spencer wasn’t sure he could give. He looked at you, seeing the hurt and anger in your eyes, the way you stood there waiting, needing an explanation that could somehow make sense of the pain he had caused.
He swallowed hard, his mouth suddenly dry as he tried to find the words. But how could he explain the mess inside his head, the way his fears and insecurities had twisted everything? How could he tell you that he had been too wrapped up in his own struggles to see what he was doing to you?
“I…” he began, his voice faltering as he searched for something, anything, that would make this right. But nothing came. The excuses he had told himself for so long now felt hollow and pathetic in the face of your unwavering gaze.
“I don’t know,” he finally admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. It was the truth, the only thing he could offer. “I was… scared. Of losing myself, of losing control. I thought… I thought I needed space to figure things out, but all I did was push you away. I wasn’t there because I was too wrapped up in my own head to see what I was doing to you.”
You stared at him, the admission doing little to soften the anger that burned in your chest. “You were scared?” you repeated, incredulity lacing your tone. “And you think that’s an excuse? Spencer, I was scared too. I was terrified of losing you, of watching you slip away without understanding why. But I didn’t shut you out. I didn’t abandon you when things got tough.”
Spencer felt the weight of your words like a punch to the gut. “I know,” he said, his voice cracking with the weight of his guilt. “I know I failed you. I don’t have an excuse, Y/N. I was selfish, and I hurt you. And I’m so, so sorry.”
But even as he said the words, he knew they weren’t enough. They couldn’t undo the damage that had been done, couldn’t erase the pain he had caused. He had failed you when it mattered most, and now he was standing here, faced with the wreckage of what once was.
You took a deep breath, trying to steady yourself, to keep the tears that were threatening at bay. “Sorry isn’t enough, Spencer,” you said, your voice softer now, tinged with sadness. “It won’t change what happened, it won’t bring back the trust that was broken. I needed you, and you weren’t there. And now… now we both have to live with that.”
Spencer’s heart shattered at your words, the finality in them like a dagger to his chest. He wanted to reach out, to somehow pull you back from the edge, but he knew he had no right. He had lost that right the moment he chose to walk away instead of fighting for what you had.
“I know I don’t deserve another chance,” he said, his voice thick with emotion. “But if I could go back… if I could do it all over again, I would. I would be there for you, I would fight for you. I’d give anything to make it right.”
But you shook your head, the sadness in your eyes cutting deeper than any words ever could. “You can’t go back, Spencer. Neither of us can. We can only move forward.”
“Together?” he asked, his voice filled with a desperate hope.
“Are you serious?” you replied, incredulity and hurt lacing your tone. With that, you turned and walked away, leaving him standing there alone with the weight of his regrets.

You walked into the apartment after an extremely grueling day at work, your body aching for the comfort of the couch and the sweet relief of doing absolutely nothing. As soon as you opened the door, however, you were greeted by the tantalizing aroma of your favorite meal wafting through the air. The familiar scent brought an instant smile to your face, and you couldn’t help but follow your nose like a cartoon character, eagerly tracing the delicious smell to the kitchen.
There, you found your adorable boyfriend, Spencer, fussing over pots and pans, his brow furrowed in concentration as he worked to perfect the meal. The sight of him, so intent on making everything just right, made your heart swell with love.
“Need some help, handsome?” you asked, leaning against the doorway with a soft smile.
Spencer jumped slightly, his concentration momentarily broken. “Huh? What? No! Go sit down, relax, I got this,” he insisted, his voice filled with warmth and determination.
You couldn’t help but chuckle at his insistence. “Okay, baby. Thank you,” you said, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to his cheek, which brought a pleased smile to his face.
With that, you made your way to the couch, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over you. Moments later, Spencer joined you, carefully balancing a tray in his hands. On it were two plates of your favorite food, two glasses of wine, and a small bouquet of your favorite flowers. The thoughtful gesture took your breath away.
“Spence… what is all of this for?” you asked, your voice tinged with surprise and emotion.
Spencer set the tray down gently and looked at you with those kind, caring eyes that always seemed to see right through to your soul. “You seemed off when you called earlier,” he explained, his voice soft and full of concern. “I figured you were having a hard day and wanted to treat you.”
Your eyes welled up with happy tears, the overwhelming love you felt for him making your heart flutter. “I love you so much, do you know that?” you whispered, your voice thick with emotion.
Spencer’s face lit up with a playful grin as he teased, “I don’t think I do. Can you tell me a hundred more times?”
You giggled, leaning closer to him. “How about a million?” you offered, your voice filled with sincerity and affection.
Spencer’s smile grew even wider as he leaned in for a sweet, tender kiss. “I’ll hold you to that,” he murmured against your lips, and in that moment, all the stress and exhaustion of your day melted away, leaving only the warmth of his love.
—
A month later…
You walked into the coffee shop down the street from your office, savoring the familiar comfort of your Thursday morning routine. It was your little treat to yourself, a pick-me-up to help push you through the final stretch before the weekend. As you stepped inside, the scent of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods enveloped you, instantly soothing some of the residual stress from the workweek.
You were lost in thought, mentally debating whether to stick with your usual order or try something new, when you felt a gentle bump against your shoulder.
“Oh, I’m so sorry, I didn’t see you there,” a familiar voice apologized.
You looked up, your heart skipping a beat when you recognized him. “Spencer?” you said, the surprise evident in your voice.
He offered you a small, almost shy smile, as if he were seeing you for the first time. “Hello, stranger. My name is Spencer Reid,” he said, extending his hand as if introducing himself to someone he hadn’t met before. “I’m terribly sorry I bumped into you. Allow me to buy your coffee?”
You blinked, caught off guard by his playful formality. “What are you doing? Did you hit your head?” you asked, unable to keep the curiosity out of your voice.
Spencer shook his head, a hint of mischief in his eyes. “No, ma’am,” he replied, his tone light. “I’m starting fresh. Can only move forward, right?”
“Right…” you echoed, the words resonating with a meaning that made your heart flutter a bit, some of the cobwebs that had gathered around it beginning to fall away. There was something about this new approach of his that caught you off guard, but in a good way, like a breath of fresh air after a long winter.
A small, tentative smile tugged at your lips as you stuck out your hand, playing along. “Y/N,” you introduced yourself, feeling a spark of warmth you hadn’t expected. “Yes, you can buy my coffee. Thank you.”
Spencer’s eyes softened with a mixture of relief and hope as he shook your hand, holding onto it just a moment longer than necessary. “It’s my pleasure,” he said, and for the first time in a long while, you felt a small glimmer of something you thought you had lost—a sense of possibility, of maybe, just maybe, starting anew.

NOW PLAYING: enough for you by Olivia Rodrigo
The restaurant was small and cozy, the kind of place that smelled like freshly baked pastries and homemade soups. You fiddled with the edge of your napkin, glancing nervously at the clock.
Silently cursing yourself for having arrived to the location a whole forty-five minutes early.
“Hey,” Sunghoon’s voice broke through your thoughts, soft and uncertain.
You looked up to find him standing there, his hands shoved deep into the pockets of his jacket—one that he must’ve definitely stolen from his father, since it was a lot oversized on him— a faint blush colouring his cheeks.
He wasn’t wearing his usual confident smirk, and for some reason, that made your heart flutter even more.
“Hi,” you said, smiling as he slid into the seat across from you.
There was a pause as both of you tried to think of what to say. You’d known Sunghoon for a while, but this was different—this was a date.
It all started when the two of you were paired together for a project, and, unlike many with whom you have worked, Sunghoon genuinely helped you through all the presentation making.
That had ignored a genuine friendship, until Sunghoon built up the courage to ask you out on a friday dinner date.
“So,” he said finally, clearing his throat. “Do you— uh, come here often?”
You laughed, the tension easing slightly. “Are you seriously using that line on me right now?”
Sunghoon groaned, covering his face with his hands. “I’m sorry. I panicked.”
“It’s fine,” you said, still laughing. “It’s kind of cute, actually.”
He peeked at you through his fingers, a small smile tugging at his lips. “Cute, huh?”
You chuckled and reached across the table to remove his fingers from his face, and strangely enough, he took the opportunity to hold your hand.
Feeling butterflies tickle your stomach, you reciprocated the warm smile he was giving you.
The conversation between the two of you went on flawlessly then, not forced like it had at first.
After your dinner, Sunghoon took you to get some ice cream and you just walked around the park until it was getting late. Again, without having to ask him, he walked you home.
As soon as you got in front of your doorstep, he waited a couple of steps behind you.
“I’m really glad you actually showed up today.” he confessed, making you feel a pang of sympathy for him.
“Of course, Hoon, I had a great time.” his expression lit up, both for the nickname and your response.
“We can do it again sometimes.” He gingerly proposed, and you nodded “Sure, we can organise that.”
Sunghoon smiled happily and placed his hands in his pockets, due to the cold of the evening “Good night, Y/N.”
“Good night, Sunghoon.” You said and turned around to open your door.
But, as you felt courage and euphoria bubble inside of you, you turned around and hurried towards him.
To your surprise, he was still standing there, probably waiting for you to get inside.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and placed a soft kiss on his plump lips.
He was taken aback, his eyes so wide they almost fell out. Tentatively, he placed his hands on your waist and held you as he kissed you back.
It wasn’t something lustful, just a gentle brush of lips. But it was enough to ignite a giddy sensation in the pit of your stomach.
“So, see you on Monday.” you said as you stepped back, tripping against the small stairs.
“Wo— careful there.” Sunghoon laughed and helped you steady “See you.”
You gave him a warm smile and finally entered your house, closing the door behind your back. Perhaps, giving the quiet and shy guy a chance wasn’t as bad as everytime thought.
A few months passed and after the awkward dates at first, the two of you finally became an official couple and spent most of your free time together.
You were at the skating rink, after having begged your boyfriend to take you there and teach you what he knew.
After having taught you the basics, it was a surprise how you still needed his hands to steady you as you wobbled on the ice.
“You’re doing great,” he said, his voice warm with encouragement.
“Liar,” you said, laughing as you nearly lost your balance again.
Sunghoon grinned, his grip tightening on your waist. “Okay, maybe you’re a little wobbly. But you’re better than last time.”
“How do you even manage to jump?” you asked, genuinely curious. For you, it was even hard staying upright, but you had watched Sunghoon’s tapes of his old competition, and he moved gracefully.
“I circle the rink to gain momentum,” he replied, “But don’t worry, I was worse than you when I first started.”
You rolled your eyes but smiled, feeling a little more confident as you glided forward.
However, said confidence was short-lived.
One moment, you were laughing, and the next, your foot caught on the ice, sending you tumbling to the ground. You landed hard, wincing as pain shot through your wrist.
“Y/N!” Sunghoon was at your side in an instant, his eyes wide with worry. “Are you okay? What happened?”
“I’m fine,” you said, trying to sit up, but he gently pushed you back down.
“Don’t move,” he said, his voice firm. “What if it’s serious?”
“It’s not serious,” you assured him, but Sunghoon was already pulling out his phone from his pocket.
“Should I call an ambulance? Or maybe the rink staff? They might have a first aid kit.”
“Sunghoon,” you said, grabbing his arm to stop him. “I just landed badly. It’s not a big deal.”
He looked at you, his brow furrowed with concern. “Are you sure?”
“Yes, I’m sure,” you said, smiling despite the pain.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Okay. But I’m carrying you to the car.”
“Sunghoon, I can walk—“ you tried to protest, but it was useless.
“No arguments,” he said, scooping you up before you could add anything.
You couldn’t help but laugh as he carried you out of the rink, his face set in a determined expression. “You’re ridiculous,” you said, but the warmth in your chest told you how much his concern meant to you.
Love didn’t end with a dramatic fight or a sudden goodbye. It ended in the quiet moments, in the spaces where words used to flow freely, now replaced by a heavy silence. It ended in the way his touch, once warm and reassuring, now felt distant and mechanical.
You used to think love was unshakable, that once you had it, it would always be enough. But with Sunghoon, you learned that love wasn’t always about grand gestures or promises whispered under the stars. Sometimes, love faded slowly, like a photograph left too long in the sun.
It had all felt magical at first, like the scent of cinnamon and gingerbread that lingers in the air during Christmas times, or the sea breeze that hugs your skin while walking during a summer evening.
And now, as the two of you sat in the same room, the weight of what had been and what was left between you hung heavy in the air. You could feel it—the slow unraveling of something that once felt so permanent.
It wasn’t that he didn’t care anymore. It was that he didn’t know how to, not in the way he used to.
And maybe, just maybe, neither did you.
The apartment was silent except for the faint hum of the refrigerator and the rhythmic ticking of the clock on the wall.
You sat on the couch, knees pulled to your chest, staring at the flickering TV screen that neither of you had been paying attention to. Sunghoon sat beside you, his posture stiff, his arms crossed tightly as if holding himself together.
It had been weeks—months, maybe—since you’d last felt truly connected to him. The warmth that once filled the spaces between you was gone, replaced by a chilling distance that no words seemed able to bridge.
“Do you even care anymore?” You asked suddenly, your voice breaking the stillness.
Sunghoon’s head turned sharply toward you, his expression unreadable. “What kind of question is that?” he replied, his voice low but strained.
You looked at him, your chest aching at the sight of his tired eyes. He looked like a stranger now, and maybe that was what hurt the most. “It’s a question I’ve been too afraid to ask,” You said quietly. “But I can’t keep pretending like nothing’s wrong.”
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t know what you want me to say.”
“I want you to tell me the truth,” you said, your voice trembling. “Are you still in this? Are we still in this?”
His silence was deafening.
Your heart sank as he avoided your gaze, his fingers fidgeting nervously in his lap. That was the answer, wasn’t it? The one you’d been dreading but already knew deep down.
“Do you remember how we used to be?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper. “We couldn’t stop talking, couldn’t stop laughing. You’d look at me like I was the only thing in the world that mattered.”
“I remember,” he said softly, his voice carrying the weight of something unspoken.
“Then what happened to us?”
He finally looked at you, his eyes clouded with guilt and something that looked like regret. “I don’t know,” he admitted. “I wish I did. But somewhere along the way… things just changed.”
The words cut through you like a knife. You had expected such words, but hearing them aloud made them real.
“I still care about you,” he added quickly, as if trying to lessen the blow. “I always will. But…”
“But you don’t love me anymore,” you finished for him, tears welling up in your eyes.
He didn’t deny it. And that was the part that hurt the most.
For a long moment, neither of you said anything. The weight of what had been left unsaid hung heavy in the air, suffocating you both.
“I don’t think I can do this anymore,” you said finally, your voice breaking. “I can’t keep holding on to something that isn’t there.”
Because you tried, with all your being. You tried to linger in those small moments you now spent together.
But the way he didn’t meet your good morning with a smile anymore, the way he’d try to get out of the house so quickly just not to talk to you.
The way he came back late, and the way you two barely talked until you pass out on the bed. Without ever, ever, touching each other.
It hurt, more than a shot to the heart would.
Sunghoon’s head dropped, his hands covering his face. “I’m sorry,” he whispered.
You stood, your legs trembling beneath you as you gathered the strength to walk away. “So am I,” you said, your voice shaking with the weight of your heartbreak.
“I think I’m moving out,” you said with a shaky voice “I’ll spend the night at my parents and come to gather my things tomorrow.”
“Ok.” was all Sunghoon said, and you were sure once you stepped outside, you’d break down.
Because he didn’t fight for you, he didn’t try to hold you back, to make things right. Was it really so late? Were you really that shattered?
You could still remember all those times he was so shy around you, when he’d blush at the mere brushing of your elbows while walking.
You reminisced your first time, when he was so gentle, when you ended up talking the whole night away, just content to be with the other.
But the Sunghoon sitting on the sofa wasn’t the same fell in love with. No, he was a stranger to your heart.
He didn’t hold its keys anymore, he had given them back to you, ready for another one to keep them safely.
You were glad for him, glad for all the memories he made you experience, and how he had never once broken your heart, even accidentally.
Except for that day.
As you grabbed your bag and headed for the door, you paused, glancing back at him one last time. He didn’t move, his figure slouched and defeated, and for a moment, you thought he would stop you.
But he didn’t.
And as you stepped out into the cold night, you realized that letting go of someone you love isn’t just about walking away—it’s about accepting that sometimes, even love isn’t enough to keep two people together. It wasn’t glue.

I’LL COME BACK BABY // H.FORT
the night before hector leaves to usa. based on this request.
genre: fluff
warnings: none
a/n: he played so well that i couldn’t help but write about him 😮💨 also we have more content about him yall edit girlies should be working 🫡
Hector and you sat on your couch, a cozy atmosphere filling the room. Soft music played in the background as you cuddled together, enjoying each other's company. You rested your head on his chest, tracing patterns on his shirt with your fingers. "I'm going to miss you while you're away," you said, looking up at him with a small pout on your lips. Hector smiled and wrapped his arms tighter around you. "I'll be back before you know it amor," he replied, kissing the top of your head.
"But it'll still be a week without you," you said, pouting even more. You knew it was childish, but you hated the thought of being apart from him even for a few days.
Hector chuckled and brushed a stray strand of hair away from your face. "I'll be thinking of you every single day," he assured you. "And I'll call you every night, I promise.
You took a deep breath and snuggled closer to him, taking comfort in the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. "Just promise me you'll be careful over there," you said quietly.
Hector tilted your chin up and looked into your eyes. "Of course, amor. I'll be playing in a friendly match, what's the worst that could happen?" he asked with a chuckle.
You rolled your eyes but couldn't help smiling at his nonchalance. "Don't jinx it," you replied, poking his chest. "I would never forgive you if something happened to you."
Hector pretended to be hurt, clutching his heart dramatically. "You wound me, amor," he said with a grin. "You really don't think I can handle myself?"
You smirked. "You can be pretty reckless sometimes," you said, recalling all the times he'd come home with a bruise after a particularly aggressive match.
Hector laughed, knowing that you had a point. "And I always survive," he said, shrugging. "I'll be fine, I promise. Just worry about missing me."
Hector could see the worry still present in your eyes despite your smile. He brought your face closer to his and gave you a soft kiss. "Amor, I promise I'll be fine," he said, trying to reassure you again.
You took a deep breath and nodded, forcing your worries aside. "I know baby, I know," you said, resting your head on his shoulder.
He stroked your hair and held you close. "Just think about all the fun we'll have when I get back," he said, trying to distract you from your worries. "We can go out to your favorite restaurant, go on a weekend getaway..."
You smiled, imagining all the things you could do together once he was back. "I like the sound of that," you replied, feeling your anxiety slowly dissipating.
Hector gave you a mischievous grin. "And I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun making up for lost time," he said, raising an eyebrow suggestively.
You felt a blush creeping onto your cheeks at his words. "Hector!" you exclaimed playfully, lightly swatting his chest.
Hector laughed and pulled you closer. "What? I'm just saying what we're both thinking," he said, nuzzling your neck.
You rolled your eyes, pretending to be annoyed, but secretly relishing the feeling of his touch. "You're terrible," you said, biting back a smile.
You looked at the clock and realized that it was getting late. "You should probably get some sleep cariño," you said reluctantly. "You have an early flight tomorrow."
Hector groaned and pulled you closer to him. "But I don't want to leave you yet," he said, pouting dramatically.
You chuckled at his pouting. "Don't worry, I'll join you in bed too," you reassured him.
Hector perked up at your words and a smirk appeared on his face. "In that case, let's go to bed immediately," he said, standing up and scooping you up into his arms.
You let out a surprised shriek as he carried you bridal style towards the bedroom. "Hector, put me down!" you protested, half-laughing.
He just chuckled and shook his head, continuing to carry you until he reached the bed. He laid you down gently before climbing in beside you and pulling you close.
You snuggled into his chest, feeling safe and comfortable in his embrace. "You're such a menace," you said, shaking your head.
Hector just laughed and buried his face in your hair. "But you love me anyway," he said smugly.
"Unfortunately," you muttered, though there was no heat behind your words.
Hector chuckled and kissed the top of your head. "You're stuck with me, amor," he said, wrapping his arms tighter around you.
You closed your eyes, feeling the warmth of his body and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. Despite your teasing, you couldn't deny the way your heart rate quickened whenever he was near.
"Just promise me you'll come back in one piece," you said softly, your worries surfacing again.
Hector hugged you closer, rubbing your back reassuringly. "I promise, amor. I'll always come back to you," he said, his voice firm and sincere.
You took a deep breath and nodded, trying to find comfort in his words. "I love you," you said quietly.
Hector's hold on you tightened at your words, and he nuzzled your hair. "Te quiero," he whispered, his voice low and heartfelt. "More than anything."
You snuggled closer to him, feeling a sense of calm wash over you. "Hector?" you said suddenly.
"Hmm?" he replied, not opening his eyes as he continued to hold you.
You took a breath, not quite sure if you wanted to ask the question that was on your mind. "Will you still love me when you come back?" you blurted out, unable to stop yourself.
Hector opened his eyes and looked down at you, his expression serious. "Of course I will," he said firmly, cupping your face in his hand. "Why would you even ask that?"
You looked up at him, your insecurity clear in your expression. "But there will be so many pretty girls in America," you said quietly. "What if you meet someone else and forget all about me?"
Hector chuckled at your words, finding your insecurity endearing. But when he saw the look on your face and you turned away from him, he quickly realized that you were actually upset.
He wrapped his arms around you from behind, pulling you close to his chest. "Amor, you have nothing to worry about," he said gently, nuzzling your neck.
You stayed silent, biting your lip as you tried to suppress your doubts. Hector continued to hold you, tracing soothing patterns on your skin with his fingers.
"You really think I could forget about you that easily?" he asked, his voice soft but with a hint of amusement. "Have you seen yourself, amor? You're the most beautiful person I've ever met, inside and out."
Hector pulled you even closer, enveloping you in his warm embrace. "Don't worry anymore, amor," he whispered. "You're worrying me too."
You took a deep breath, feeling a sense of reassurance wash over you. "Goodnight, cariño," you said, finally relaxing against him.
He reached over to turn off the light, plunging the room into darkness. "Goodnight, amor," he replied, kissing the top of your head.
You were abruptly woken up by a loud thump and a few muttered curses coming from the bathroom. You sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep from your eyes as you tried to orient yourself.
Panicked, you searched for Hector, hoping he wasn't already gone. When you heard him shuffling around in the bathroom, you quickly got out of bed and walked towards it.
You barged into the bathroom and immediately enveloped him in your arms. "Why didn't you wake me?" you asked, your voice a mix of surprise and frustration. "I wanted to say goodbye."
Hector wrapped his arms around you in return, a mixture of guilt and tenderness on his face. "I didn't want to wake you, amor," he said softly. "You looked so peaceful asleep."
You kissed him gently, your lips lingering on his for a moment. "Let me help you finish packing," you said, taking his hands in yours. "It'll go faster, and I want to make sure you have everything you need."
Hector smiled and squeezed your hands, grateful for your help. "Okay, amor," he said as he picked up the items he had dropped earlier.
You stood by the front door, Hector's manager waiting just outside. You couldn't help but poke at him one last time. "Are you sure you have everything? Your passport, wallet, keys...?"
Hector rolled his eyes playfully, feigning irritation as he checked his pockets for the thousandth time. "I have everything, amor. I swear."
You laughed and gave him a gentle nudge. "You forgot something, though," you said, a sly smile on your lips.
Hector raised an eyebrow, looking slightly suspicious. "Oh, really? What did I forget?"
You leaned up on the tips of your toes and whispered in his ear, "Good luck kiss?"
Hector chuckled and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close. "How could I forget that?" he replied, his voice mischievous as he pressed a deep, lingering kiss on your lips.
For a moment, the world around you faded away, and you lost yourself in his embrace. But eventually, he pulled away, breaking the spell.
He kissed your forehead gently before reluctantly stepping back. "I'll make sure to call you every night amor," he said, his voice a little hoarse.
You nodded, a bittersweet smile on your face. "I'll be waiting," you said quietly.
Hector gave you one last lingering look before turning to leave, his manager waiting patiently outside. He looked back at you from the doorway, giving you a small wave.
You waved back, watching as he disappeared down the sidewalk. A pang of sadness hit you as you closed the door, feeling already lonely without his presence. But you took a deep breath, knowing that he would be back soon.

☾ being sneaky on christmas ; up all night
➪ summary: it's chirstmas morning and all luke wants is to be cuddled up in his girlfriend's arms, and he gets what he wants, with the added price of his brother potentially finding out
➪ warnings: luke is a little needy
➪ word count: 0.7k
➪ file type: 12 days of au's: christmas edition (up all night) blurb
➪ cupid's notes: okay i still think jack and cassie's is my favorite but this is a very close second. the ending is lowkey rough but let's ignore that, please

Sabrina groaned slightly as she felt the other side of the bed dip, fluttering her eyes open in the process. She tugged the blankets tighter around her, eyes landing on Luke’s figure causing her to smile softly, “Hey Lukey.”
He returned her smile with one of his own, reaching out to tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear, “Can I lay down?”
“Mhm.”
Luke didn't waste any time peeling back the covers and climbing into her bed, letting her envelop him in her warmth. He rested his head against her chest, sighing in content, wrapping his arms around her. She pressed a kiss to his curls, murmuring, “Everything okay, sweetheart?”
“Yeah, just wanted you.”
He couldn’t help but grin cheekily when he heard her giggle, looking up at her and placing a kiss on her jaw. She met his gaze, leaning forward and resting her forehead on his. It wasn’t long before their lips connected, her hands immediately tangling into his hair.
Luke moaned slightly, chasing her lips as she pulled away from him, playfully shushing him, “As much as I love the noises you make, baby, gotta be quiet, you know that.”
She recognized the downturn of his lips, instantly mocking his pout, “Poor baby.”
He only huffed, closing his eyes and returning his head to its previous position, right between her tits, and suddenly all of his sadness went away, perfectly cozy. Her hand scratched at his scalp, never letting up in the slightest.
A few minutes later she heard him sigh, looking down at him and furrowing her eyebrows, “What?”
“Don’t want to go back to bed.”
“Just stay, I’ll wake you up when you need to. You know Jack, he probably won’t wake up for at least another 2 hours.”
He nodded, tightening his hold on her and trying to push his head further into her. She laughed again, tugging at his curls slightly, “I don’t think you can get any closer, baby.”
“Can too.”
゚+*:୨୧:*﹤
2 hours later, Sabrina had yet to wake Luke and was yet to hear any sound from Jack. Well, that was until about two minutes ago when there was a knocking on her bedroom door and a slightly concerned and tired version of Jack’s voice, “Sab! Have you seen Luke? He’s not in the room or bathroom. Or anywhere actually.”
She slid a hand under Luke’s shirt while the other clamped around his mouth, preventing any noise from escaping. However, he didn’t stir a bit, soft snores still present.
“Nope. Haven’t seen him. Maybe he went to the store or something?”
“Sab, there’s no stores or restaurants open right now.” She rolled her eyes and pinched Luke’s side, hoping it would be enough to rouse him from his sleep.
When Jack replied, Luke was still asleep and she was convinced that he was deeper in sleep than he was before. She huffed, moving her hand up further. Desperate times call for desperate measures, she thought to herself before flicking her thumb across his nipple, eliciting a quiet groan from the boy as his eyes shot open.
She grinned, replying to Jack, “I don’t know Jackson! Maybe he went for a walk then.”
Sabrina wasn’t sure her boyfriend’s eyes could widen even more but somehow they did, looking between her and the door that was currently the only barrier from his brother finding out about them. She slowly released her hand from his mouth, running it through her hair as he spoke softly, panicking, “What’re we going to do?”
At first, she shrugged but then an idea formed in her mind, “Jack!”
“Yes?”
“I think I left one of your presents at your place the other day. Would you go get it? Please?”
“Really Sab?” The two could hear him grumble, his footsteps heavy as he walked back to the guest room.
5 minutes later they heard him return, “I’ll be back.”
“Thank you, Jacky!”
“Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Text me if Luke gets back.”
When the door closed, Luke and Sabrina burst out into giggles, leaning into each other as they did so. It took them a few minutes to calm down and catch their breath, but once they did Luke just looked at her with pleading eyes, “Does this mean we can cuddle more now?”

Brothers on Your Anniversary!
This blog honestly gives me so much life, thank you so much for reading and enjoying it! I hope you'll love this hc as much as I do <3
Lucifer
Lucifer has been planning your anniversary like half a year in advance
Meaning, the guy is C O N F I D E N T
You might think he'd be the type to take you to a fancy restaurant and such but he will actually plan the date according to your specific preferences
Doesn't mean he won't get you a huge-ass bouquet with the rarest Devildom flowers
Is actually pretty nervous since it's his first ever anniversary in a relationship and he is a control freak and want it to be perfect for you
Will kiss your knuckles softly and will then twirl you around, effortlessly spinning you in a smooth dance
Gifts you an intricate and beautiful pendant with his love confession engraved on it
"I'm looking forward to the eternity with you by my side, my love"
Mammon
The day will be 10000000% dedicated to you
Shopping spree, any restaurant you want, any activity you wish to try - just say a word
Holding hands 24/7 everywhere, proudly showing you to literally EVERYONE
"Dat's right, dat's my baby and damn we hit 1 year together!"
Is so proud of you being near him that he almost tears up
Poor boy has never had a relationship and is now determined to keep you forever
At the end of the night, will blush heavily as he wraps his arms around your waist and leans in for a kiss
"I'm s-so happy we are t-together...Thanks for dealing with my dumb ass..."
Levi
Decides to surprise you with a kick-ass 3-course dinner cooked entirely by him, obviously
Is EXTREMELY nervous but tries not to show it
Gets you a matching set of pjs and a super cute necklace
Proposes to watch some anime or movies and secretly hopes you'd say yes, because he doesn't feel like going out and wants to be just the two of you this evening
Holds your hand all the time
Plays with your hair lazily and grins
"Can't believe got a person like you to be my partner"
Satan
Classic romance is his thing
Be sure he'll take you to a small and cozy but ridiculously expensive place
He'll insist you two dress up because "the occasion is so very special"
Out of all brothers, is most likely to propose on your anniversary
After dinner, will probably take you to the nearest park; champagne and blanket ready
(oops, a momentary cat distraction)
Showers you with affection and can't keep his hands and eyes off you
"Kitten, I'm honored to be loved by someone like you"
Asmodeus
Mhmmm an anniversary... so exciting!
Plans out a whole day dedicated just to you two
Spa, fancy dinner, shopping, massage - all included!
It's the first time ever for him to care so much about someone else and he is dedicated to make this day unforgettable
"I have a special something just for you"
RENTS THE WHOLE RESTAURANT TO SLOW-DANCE WITH YOU IN THE CANDLE LIGHT
"Honey, you have immense power over me and I surrender to you now and forever"
Beelzebub
He loves you so much that he actually wants to make it NOT about food
The things is, he has no idea what else to do... like... sports, maybe?
You notice how tensed he is and directly ask what's up
Reluctantly agrees to your offer to just eat somewhere and then cuddle home with snacks
"I tried to think of something unique because you deserve the best"
Wraps his hands around you and won't let go
Offers you head massage and just uses any excuse to touch you
"Y'know... You are my dearest person"
Belphie
Actually MAKES AN EFFORT
An attic, stargazing, a bottle of wine, and amazing fruits and sweets - just how good does it sound?
Presents you with a photo album filled with your mutual photos; a sweet note going with every photo
"You made my life full of memories that I'd cherish forever"
Kisses you softly all the time and braids your hair delicately
Loves this moment of peace and happiness but is a teeny tiny bit worried you might have preferred something more outdoorsy
"Just stay with me always, okay?"

Like all the drivers, who do you think will do a nice valentine day like celebration with flowers and dinner and all the stuff ?? and can you elaborate
this is the worst thing I may have written lol, not proud of it at all should I do a part 2 with the other driver ?????
1. Charles Leclerc
The Classic Romantic with Heartfelt Gestures
Charles is deeply in touch with his emotions, which makes him the kind of guy who would plan Valentine’s Day weeks in advance, wanting everything to be perfect. Growing up in Monaco, he knows all the beautiful spots hidden away from the hustle of city life. He’d probably pick a place that’s meaningful to both of you, like where you first met or a favorite quiet corner by the sea. Charles is attentive to detail—expect a well-thought-out dinner reservation at a charming, cozy restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean, or maybe a private rooftop dinner just for the two of you.
He’s a gentleman, so flowers are a must, but they won’t just be any flowers—he’ll know your favorite kind and make sure it’s personal. If you love roses, they’ll be there, but if you’ve once mentioned peonies in passing, that’s what you’ll receive.
The Day:
Morning: You’ll wake up to a hand-written note and breakfast he’s picked out from a local cafe. The note will be full of sweet little reminders of why he loves you.
Afternoon: He’ll take you to an art museum or for a scenic walk, something low-key but filled with moments to talk and connect.
Evening: Dinner will be elegant yet intimate, followed by a moonlit walk along the beach, with Charles wrapping his arm around you and maybe a stop for dessert at his favorite ice cream spot.
Gift: Something deeply personal—a delicate necklace or bracelet, possibly engraved, to remind you of a special moment you’ve shared.
2. Daniel Ricciardo
The Playful, Yet Deeply Affectionate Lover
Daniel is a ray of sunshine, and his Valentine’s Day celebration would be full of laughter, teasing, and spontaneous moments. He’s the guy who wakes you up with a goofy grin, presents you with a bouquet of colorful wildflowers, and tells you he has a surprise planned. His idea of romance blends fun with affection—so the day would start with some sort of adventure, like go-karting or even a silly scavenger hunt around the house or town. He thrives on shared experiences, so the activities would reflect that.
For Daniel, it's all about making you smile, so he might plan something quirky like a paint-and-sip class, where you both create art together. He’ll capture your playful spirit with things that allow you both to let loose and laugh, but he’ll still balance that with quiet moments where he holds your hand and tells you how much you mean to him.
The Day:
Morning: Wakes you up with breakfast in bed, made up of all your favorite things—coffee, pancakes, and a handpicked playlist that he’s curated just for you. He might even crack a few jokes or tell you to get ready for a day full of surprises.
Afternoon: Something spontaneous and fun—think go-karting, hiking, or visiting an amusement park where he can joke around, but he’s still holding your hand the entire time.
Evening: The playful vibe would continue with a casual dinner at a hidden gem of a restaurant or a private, at-home cooking experience where you both make pizzas together. Expect him to serenade you, with fake seriousness, over dinner or sneak in funny comments to make you laugh.
Gift: It could be something with an inside joke—a quirky piece of art or even a photo album capturing fun moments throughout your relationship, proving that he pays attention to the details that make you unique.
3. Lewis Hamilton
The Sophisticated Gentleman with a Deep Emotional Side
Lewis has a polished, luxurious vibe, but he’s also incredibly spiritual and mindful. Valentine’s Day with Lewis would be an experience of relaxation, intimacy, and connection, blending his love for wellness with moments of luxury. He’d begin the day with something to relax and pamper you both—a spa day, perhaps, where you can unwind with massages and enjoy a couple’s treatment. Lewis has a strong sense of adventure, so he might fly you to a romantic destination (Paris, anyone?) for a quick getaway to make the day extra special.
He’s likely to organize a multi-part day, where he surprises you with little thoughtful moments throughout. Lewis is deeply affectionate and tuned into his partner’s needs, so every part of the day would be curated with care. His love language is likely a combination of quality time and thoughtful gifts, so expect something deeply meaningful from him that reflects both his world and your relationship.
The Day:
Morning: A thoughtful breakfast that involves your favorite healthy treats—he’s a fan of wellness, so you might start with a smoothie bowl or avocado toast delivered to your bedside while he plays soft music in the background.
Afternoon: A spa retreat or a mindfulness experience like yoga together, reflecting his love for balance and relaxation. Or, he might fly you to a city like Paris or Rome, where the day continues in style.
Evening: A luxurious dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant or something private and intimate, with candlelight and fine wine. He’ll make sure the evening feels like a grand event, from the venue to his impeccable suit.
Gift: Expect a high-end, thoughtful present—perhaps a designer bag or fine jewelry, but with a touch of personalization, like an engraving or a connection to something special between you both.
4. Carlos Sainz
The Sincere, Down-to-Earth Romantic
Carlos is grounded and sincere, and that translates into his approach to love. He isn’t the type to make grand, flashy gestures, but everything he does will be filled with genuine care and attention. Valentine’s Day with Carlos would feel like home—warm, comforting, and intimate. He’s the kind of guy who would rather have a meaningful, personal dinner with you than do something extravagant, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less special.
Carlos is big on family, so don’t be surprised if he incorporates elements that show how much he values building a life with you. Expect him to make dinner plans at a cozy, intimate restaurant where you can enjoy each other’s company without too many distractions, or he might even cook with you at home—something like Spanish tapas, a nod to his heritage.
The Day:
Morning: Carlos would surprise you with breakfast in bed, or maybe even start the day with a quiet morning walk through a park, hand in hand, just enjoying each other’s company.
Afternoon: A laid-back activity like a scenic drive through the countryside or a visit to a local vineyard, where you can talk and laugh together, building memories in a relaxed setting.
Evening: A cozy dinner at a small, romantic restaurant with lots of good food and conversation. Or, he might cook with you, laughing and enjoying the time spent creating a meal together.
Gift: Carlos would likely give you something thoughtful, like a piece of jewelry with sentimental value or a keepsake that represents a milestone in your relationship.
5. George Russell
The Gentlemanly Perfectionist with Thoughtful Surprises
George is the definition of a gentleman, and his Valentine’s Day would reflect that. He’d plan meticulously, wanting to make sure every detail is perfect. He’s a romantic at heart and would enjoy doing things by the book, but with an extra touch of thoughtfulness to make sure you feel completely special. His day would be elegant and tasteful—expect him to show up with a perfectly arranged bouquet of roses, beautifully presented and likely paired with your favorite chocolates or a sweet card.
He’s also one for fine dining, so he’d probably make reservations at a high-end restaurant with an incredible view, knowing that atmosphere is key. George is the type who takes his time to understand his partner, so every part of the day would be designed around things he knows you love.
The Day:
Morning: You’ll wake up to George making breakfast, complete with freshly brewed coffee and something sweet like pastries or pancakes. He’d present it to you with a smile, making sure you feel pampered from the start.
Afternoon: You might spend the afternoon doing something charming like visiting a museum or going for a scenic drive, talking and sharing moments that feel effortless.
Evening: A reservation at an upscale restaurant with a view, where he’s likely dressed in a sharp suit. He’d hold the door for you, pull out your chair, and give you all his attention over a candlelit dinner.
Gift: Expect something elegant and timeless—he might gift you a beautiful watch or piece of jewelry that’s carefully chosen to suit your style.
6. Lando Norris
The Playful, Laid-Back Romantic with a Fun Twist
Lando’s young, fun-loving personality means that Valentine’s Day with him would be less about formality and more about having a great time together. He’s spontaneous and full of energy, so you can expect surprises throughout the day—he might wake you up with a cheeky “Happy Valentine’s!” and a box of donuts instead of flowers, just to keep things light-hearted.
He’s all about shared experiences, so his day would likely revolve around activities that allow you to bond, laugh, and make memories. He’s not overly traditional, so while you might not get a candlelit dinner at a Michelin-star restaurant, you’ll probably get something that feels much more personal and in tune with your relationship.
The Day:
Morning: Lando might start the day with a cute, casual breakfast, surprising you with something fun like pancakes shaped like hearts or donuts from your favorite bakery.
Afternoon: A playful date activity like bowling, go-karting, or mini-golf—something competitive where you can tease each other and have a good laugh.
Evening: A casual but meaningful dinner, maybe at a fun spot like a food truck park or a quirky, themed restaurant. He’d want to keep things relaxed and full of laughs.
Gift: Expect something playful but thoughtful, like a scrapbook of memories or a fun gadget he knows you’d love—something that shows he’s been paying attention.
7. Pierre Gasly
The Stylish, Thoughtful Romantic
Pierre has a keen sense of style and charm, and he’d bring that into his Valentine’s Day celebration. He’s the type to blend luxury with personal touches, making sure the day feels both special and unique to you. Pierre would likely plan a surprise date or even a mini getaway to somewhere breathtaking, because he’s all about creating moments that feel like something out of a movie.
You can expect him to show up with an extravagant bouquet of flowers, maybe something exotic or rare to symbolize how special you are to him. He’s also very attentive and would make sure every detail of the day aligns with what you love, from the food to the ambiance.
The Day:
Morning: Pierre would surprise you with breakfast in bed, complete with fresh croissants, coffee, and maybe even a handwritten note expressing his feelings.
Afternoon: A surprise trip to a scenic destination—a vineyard, a boutique hotel, or somewhere beautiful where you can take photos and just enjoy being together.
Evening: Dinner at an upscale restaurant with a gorgeous view, where he’d dress impeccably and treat you to a romantic evening filled with great food and conversation.
Gift: Pierre would give you something high-end but meaningful, like a designer handbag or jewelry, carefully chosen to suit your style.
8. Fernando Alonso
The Intense, Passionate Romantic
Fernando’s approach to Valentine’s Day would be filled with intensity and passion, but in a way that’s deeply thoughtful. He’s not into doing things just for the sake of it—he’d plan a day that feels meaningful, where you can both escape from the world and enjoy each other’s company in a quiet, intimate setting. He’s likely to choose a location off the beaten path, maybe a secluded cabin in the mountains or a hidden restaurant that only locals know about.
Fernando would make sure the day feels deeply connected—he’s not one for superficial gestures, so everything he does would have emotional weight. He’s likely to skip the big bouquet of roses for something more understated but significant, like a simple arrangement of flowers you once mentioned were your favorite.
The Day:
Morning: Fernando would start the day with a simple but meaningful gesture—perhaps coffee together while watching the sunrise, reflecting his love for quiet, peaceful moments.
Afternoon: A private, scenic getaway—somewhere far from the crowds, where you can enjoy the beauty of nature or explore a new place together.
Evening: Dinner at a secluded restaurant or a meal he’s prepared himself, with the two of you enjoying wine and conversation in front of a fireplace or overlooking a beautiful view.
Gift: Fernando’s gift would be deeply personal, something that speaks to the connection you share—perhaps an old book he knows you’d love, or a keepsake that ties into a significant memory between you two.
Each of these drivers would bring their own flair to Valentine’s Day, reflecting their personalities in unique ways. Whether it’s Charles’s heartfelt classic romance or Daniel’s playful yet affectionate vibe, every driver has a different way of showing their love. Which one resonates with the kind of Valentine's Day you’d love to experience?

Savannahclaw, 3, fluff
Here and Now || Ruggie Bucchi
For the Holiday Event! || Prompt: "I'll always be here", Genre: Fluff
The clock on the wall blinks 11:30 PM when the door finally creaks open. You look up from your spot on the couch, cozy under a blanket, to see Ruggie dragging himself inside, his steps slow and heavy. His uniform is rumpled, his hair sticking out in random places, and his ever-present grin is nowhere to be found.
"I'm so sorry," he says, voice a mix of guilt and exhaustion. He drops his bag by the door and rubs the back of his neck, avoiding your gaze. "I know I told ya to wait for me, but...ugh, there was so much stuff today. Too many gigs, and then Leona wanted somethin’ done last minute—"
"Ruggie," you interrupt, and he stops rambling to glance up at you hesitantly. "It’s okay."
"Okay?" His ears twitch, and he blinks at you like he can’t believe his own. "You’re not mad?"
You shake your head, offering him a small smile. "I’m not mad. Disappointed, maybe, but not mad. I know how hard you work, Ruggie. I’m not gonna hold it against you."
"But..." He fidgets, wringing his hands. "We didn’t even get to go on our date. You waited all day, and I just—"
"Ruggie," you cut him off again, your tone a little firmer this time. "I’d rather eat instant ramen on the couch with you than go to some fancy place with someone else. You know that, right?"
He stares at you for a moment, his tired expression softening into something warm and vulnerable. "You really mean that?"
"Of course I mean it." You stand and walk over to him, placing your hands gently on his shoulders. "Now, go sit down. I’ll microwave something, and we can call it a five-star dining experience."
He lets out a breathy laugh, his tail swishing behind him. "You’re somethin’ else, y'know that?"
As Ruggie collapses onto the couch, you throw together the most basic meal you can manage with what’s in the fridge—a mishmash of leftovers and a packet of instant noodles.
It’s terrible, barely edible, but when you sit next to him on the couch, eating out of mismatched bowls with plastic forks, it somehow feels perfect.
Ruggie chuckles between bites, his foot nudging yours playfully. "This ain't half bad. Real ‘gremlin cuisine.’"
You snort, almost choking on your food. "We should open a restaurant. Call it The Trash Den."
"Only if you’re the head chef," he says, grinning now, his exhaustion fading bit by bit.
You roll your eyes but can’t stop your own smile. The glow of the TV flickers across the room, the two of you bundled under a shared blanket as you lean into his side. The tension in his shoulders finally eases, and he looks down at you, his expression softer than you’ve ever seen it.
"Thanks for waitin’ for me," he says quietly, his voice filled with more sincerity than usual. "I know I’m not the easiest guy to stick around with, but...I’ll always try to make it worth it. I promise."
You rest your head against his shoulder, closing your eyes. "I’ll always be here, Ruggie. No matter what."
The rest of the night passes in peaceful contentment, your makeshift dinner long forgotten as you drift off against him, the weight of the day replaced with the simple comfort of being together.

For domestic jade I was thinking things like waking up and going to bed together, watching silly YouTube videos, car ride conversations, camping, him cooking for us, greeting him when he gets home from work.
As for kids I was thinking about his reaction to pregnancy, friends reactions, behavior during and after pregnancy, meeting baby for the first time, extra
I also crave wedding head cannons
Waaaaaaah! I love things like these!
Jade would likely have two weddings, one for the surface for you and your friends and surrogate family, and one in the sea for his family and their associates. The one in the sea is much, and I really must emphasize the much part, more formal. Jade and yours merforms are dressed in Coral Sea formal attire, which is mostly jewelry and accessories rather than clothes. The wedding is less for you two and more for the Leech family's associates. There are lots of presents and well-wishes given to the groom and his new spouse, all to curry favor with who may be two out of three (maybe four if Floyd also marries) the new heads of the Leech family in the next few years. It's not very fun, to be frank, and many people come up to you to introduce themselves and try to cozy up, but Jade is always close by to keep you close to him.
The wedding on the surface is much more fun and is planned entirely by you two, with the help of his parents and of course your own friends. It's still got a bit of formality to it, but Jade is surprisingly into the idea of a much more casual wedding on the beach. He is very firm in ensuring that mushrooms are included in just about every dish served possible. You have to call Clover Bakery (because who else would you trust) and beg Trey to not let Jade add any actual mushrooms to the wedding cake. Fondant ones are perfectly fine. It's quite lovely, everyone is having fun, you and Jade get to finally bask in each other's presence without some suckerfish coming up to bother you. And you get the added bonus of getting gifts from people like Malleus and Kalim who don't want to curry favor, they just want to give you nice gifts!
Living with Jade in your own shared home after the wedding and honeymoon is also lovely. I'm mildly torn between wanting Jade to be a househusband or having him come home with his spouse waiting for him! Jade would probably get bored being a househusband, and I can see him still working with Azul as an adult, perhaps as a restaurant manager for one of Azul's branches!
When it comes to the home, I like to think that he keeps it relatively peaceful. He's early to rise, and if you're not, then he's happy to get you a cup of tea ready as you continue sleeping. If you rise with him, then he likes having you do your morning routine with him, he thinks it's extra cute having you help him with his bedhead! Your fingers through his hair and the cute, focused pout as you try to help him curl the end of his darker strand is his favorite image in the morning.
This post is a bit too long now, but I do have more domestic thoughts and Dad Jade thoughts! I'll add more later or if I forgot send me another ask in like a week lol.
#mochi asks#a-small-tyrant#twst#twisted wonderland#jade leech#twisted wonderland x reader#twst x reader#jade leech x reader#aaaa new card shows that jade is actually a morning person (ew) so there goes all my headcanons of grumpy morning jade....#its okay i can be the grumpy and he can kiss me awake hehe

Cozy Up with: Gale
[Autumn photography by: coldoctober]
[Gale photography by: unknown - if it's you, please let me know so that I can tag you!]
Author's Note:
Okay so....... maybe it's become a series that I like to call "Cozy Up". LOL I'll probably do another one with Astarion since the first was pretty short, and I'm hoping to do more bg3 characters as well! Here's our beautiful, wonderful rizzard in some post-game domestic bliss: autumn-themed! Hope you enjoy.
You smiled as your eyes followed the colorful leaves in their path from the trees to the ground, carried on the wind like dancers performing a routine. The weather had turned crisp in Waterdeep, the night air boasting an even colder chill on the balcony of Gale's tower, where the breeze from the sea swept up to rustle the wind chimes that were a gift from your fiancé once you moved in.
A shiver ran through you and you curled further under the massive blanket Gale had on the settee. It was your idea to sit outside. You didn't mind the fact that your ears and nose were numb. This was your first autumn in Waterdeep; your first autumn as a fiancé(e). Autumn was always your favorite season: the sweeping changes in the colors of the landscape, the crackling energy of something new and wonderful in the air, and the eerie glow of the large harvest moons in the evenings. You wanted nothing more than to experience this shift with your soon to be husband, who was currently fixing hot cocoa for the both of you in the kitchen downstairs, and probably supplementing Tara with some warm milk before he returned.
You rubbed your feet together and admired the two pumpkins that sat on the balcony across from you, faces carved in them by you and Gale, glowing brightly with the spell the wizard had used on them. "It's a tradition in Waterdeep!" Gale had exclaimed with excitement while urging you to find a pumpkin you liked from the stall.
You'd heard of the practice, of course - carving a face into a gourd and lighting it to keep the evil away - but in Baldur's Gate, there wasn't a guarantee your warding gourd would be left alone for very long if left outside where they were meant to be, so most people lit candles in their windows and drew faces on their doors with coal instead to ward off the evil. So many firsts for you this year, and so far, you were enjoying them all.
The clank of cups on a tray brought you back to the present and you turned your eyes to the patio door, where Gale had appeared with two steaming mugs and a dazzling smile on his handsome face. "Here we are! My mother's famous recipe." He said, carefully handing you one of the mugs by the rim. You sighed in audible relief as your cold fingers wrapped around the warm ceramic, the effect taking hold immediately. A single sip had a satisfying chill running up and down your spine before your entire body began to warm from the inside out.
"Mmm Gale, it's perfect, thank you." You hummed happily, your mug held close to your face to allow your nose to defrost as well. He chuckled in response and sat down next to you with his own cup, pulling some of the blanket over his legs as he settled in. Your pull to him was immediate, and you were nuzzling into his side the moment he was in reach. He opened his arm to you just as quickly and pulled you closer by your shoulders.
The scent of weathered book pages and amber flitted across your senses, enveloping you in a sense of safety and belonging as you rested your head in your usual place under Gale’s arm. You looked out over Waterdeep over the balcony railing, and the city was littered with tiny flickers of candlelight as people ducked in and out of shops, restaurants, and taverns far below. Motion in your peripheral caught your eye and you smiled to yourself.
Gale had conjured a mage hand to open the volume he was reading on the latest popular recipes for Waterdhavian weddings. He was insistent on making your meal for you on the day you wed, and would hear nothing against it. He was making something new everyday, bringing plates of his new dishes to you. "My love," he would say every time. "Try this one. How is it compared to the last? Should I keep looking? I'll keep looking, I haven't tried this other one yet.." and he would trail back off to the kitchen to start again. At first, you'd tried to dissuade him from trying every dish in the book, but your fiancé was nothing if not hard-headed, and you found yourself going along with it, content enough to try new food every night until the wedding. Each dish was better than the last, and that you certainly didn't mind.
You chuckled quietly and allowed your eyes to fall closed, listening to the rhythmic sound of Gale’s heart beating beneath your ear. The wind was chilly, but your hearts were warm, as long as they beat together.

Update No. 9 (and apologies!)
Very sorry for how long this chapter has taken, but good news is: I’m finally done with the draft of the entire full chapter! It’s now undergoing testing and editing, and should be out / ready for ko-fi supporters on Oct 5.
It has been a real journey (I’m not sure why but this chapter was really challenging to write, mostly because I really wanted to make sure I did enough credit to the possible routes/branching and also cater an experience that even non-Sam romancers would be able to enjoy.) I'm not sure if I fully succeeded, but it's a WIP—with the amount of rewrites I do to earlier chapters... I'm sure I'll improve this one in the months to come as well. !
In any case. Without further ado, I present to you the features for the fifth chapter / update No. 9, and thank you all so much for being so patient with me and supportive!
Update No. 9 Features
Sam attending team dinner (when the flamenco music comes on, you can choose to… get cozy with Sam/Rayyan/Tobin)
Team party on Friday night (participate in a drinking game known as the Devil’s Dozen (party edition). Partner Sam, Tobin, or Rayyan and get… drunk (or not. Non-alcoholic drinks are available too!)
Share a bed with Sam… pt. 1.
Go out to a fancy Italian restaurant on Saturday with Sam (you can choose to wear something nice or not), and then head to a bar afterward.
Share a bed with Sam… pt. 2. [exclusive to Sam romancers]
Have a (tough?) conversation before Sam leaves on Sunday (or you might’ve had the tough conversation earlier on Saturday).
P.S. Sorry again for how long this update has been ‘in the works’, but I can't wait to share it with you all!
If you sent in bugs/errors/suggested improvements earlier, I’m so sorry but could I possibly get you to send it to my gmail ([email protected]) for easier referencing if I haven’t gotten to it yet? The forum thread’s really hard for me to keep track of, so I think I might’ve missed quite a few things!

It was the morning of his and Y/N’s first wedding anniversary Lando had been planning for months. The sun was just beginning to pop up over the city as Lando tiptoed around the house, careful not to wake his family. He had a full day of surprises planned for Y/N and the first step was to make sure everything was perfect.
Lando had already arranged for a beautiful bouquet of Y/N’s favorite flowers to be delivered to their home. He had set up a breakfast table with fresh pastries, fruit and coffee and he was preparing to make her a special breakfast in bed. But first, he needed to handle a crucial detail: ensuring their children were in good hands for the day.
He picked up his phone and dialed Max Verstappen’s number. “Hey, Max,” Lando said when Max picked up. “I hope I’m not interrupting your morning.”
“Not at all,” Max replied, his voice cheerful. “What’s up?”
“Are you and Kelly still free to babysit Maebry and Noah today?”
“Of course, we’re on our way shortly and Penelope is actually pretty excited to have some friends to play with for the day.”
With the babysitting arrangement confirmed Lando turned his attention back to the day’s surprises. He had arranged a luxurious spa day for Y/N, followed by a romantic dinner at their favorite restaurant. In between he planned a scenic drive to a secluded spot where they could enjoy a quiet picnic.
While Lando busied himself with last-minute preparations Max and Kelly arrived at the Norris home with five-year-old Penelope, greeted by a cheerful Noah, who was excited to spend time with them today and a curious Maebry, who was still adjusting to the new faces.
“Hey there, little ones,” Kelly said, picking up the little girl from Lando’s arms. “Are you ready for a fun day with us?”
Penelope’s eyes sparkled. “Mom said we’re gonna go to the zoo today,” she told the boy and Noah jumped up excitedly. “That sounds like so much fun!”
A few minutes later he gently placed the tray with the breakfast next to Y/N’s side of the bed and gently shook her awake with a soft kiss on the forehead.
“Good morning, beautiful. Happy anniversary,” he whispered.
Y/N stretched, blinking sleepily and then her eyes fell on the breakfast tray. Her face lit up with surprise but she was also visibly excited. “Lando, thank you so much!”
They enjoyed a lazy breakfast together, laughing and talking about their favorite moments from their time together. After breakfast he handed her a beautifully wrapped gift.
“This isn’t just any gift,” he said with a grin. “I’ve been keeping it a secret for months.”
Y/N unwrapped the present to reveal a delicate locket with two compartments - one for a picture of Maebry and one for a picture of Noah.
“It’s beautiful, Lando. Thank you.”
“I thought it might be a nice way to keep our little ones close to your heart, even when they’re not with us.”
They shared a few more quiet moments together but eventually decided to go and get ready for their day out. Lando had booked a luxurious spa experience, knowing that Y/N deserved some pampering. When they arrived they were greeted by a team of professionals ready to make their day as relaxing as possible.
As they settled into their robes and slippers, Y/N looked at Lando “You really went all out, I can’t believe how thoughtful you’ve been.”
“You deserve it,” Lando chuckled, squeezing her hand. “And besides, it’s our special day. I want it to be perfect.”
The couple enjoyed a series of treatments - a relaxing massage, a refreshing facial and a soak in a cozy hot tub. They spent the day unwinding and reconnecting, enjoying each other’s company without any interruptions and - for once - without kids.
After the spa Lando drove them to a scenic location he had discovered, a secluded park with breathtaking views of the city. The spot was a hidden gem, surrounded by lush greenery. They watched the clouds drift lazily across the sky and Lando took the opportunity to recount some of their favorite memories from their relationship.
“You remember the time we went on that spontaneous road trip?” Lando asked with a grin. “We got lost but ended up finding that little diner with the best pancakes we’ve ever had.”
Y/N laughed, nodding. “How could I forget? We were covered in syrup and laughing the whole time.”
“I can’t believe how lucky I am to have you in my life,” Lando said softly, wrapping his arms around her.
As the evening approached Lando and Y/N arrived at the restaurant, a charming, intimate spot that had become one of their favorites over time. The restaurant was nestled in a quiet part of the city, overlooking the bay. When they walked in, the maître d’ greeted them with a warm smile. “Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Norris. We’re delighted to have you here for your special occasion.”
Lando returned the smile, taking Y/N’s hand as they were led to their reserved table. Lando pulled out Y/N’s chair and she settled in with a content sigh. “This is perfect, Lando,” she said, looking out into the water. “You’ve really outdone yourself.”
He grinned, pleased with her reaction. “I’m glad you think so. I wanted everything to be just right for you.”
Finally, after an array of delicious appetizers and a main course that was to die for, it was time for dessert. The restaurant’s pastry chef had prepared a special anniversary cake - an indulgent, layered chocolate cake with a rich ganache and a delicate raspberry coulis. The cake was adorned with edible gold leaf and fresh berries, making it a true centerpiece. The message “Happy Anniversary” was elegantly scripted in chocolate on the plate.
As they dug into the decadent dessert, Lando raised his glass for a toast. “To us and to many more years of love and happiness. You make every single day better and I’m so grateful to have you by my side.”
Y/N’s eyes sparkled as she clinked her glass with his. “To us,” she agreed. “Thank you for making this day so unforgettable. I love you more than words can express.”

➽ Speed Build Video
➽ Rheya's Notes:
♥This lot has been semi play-tested. ♥To make the Grocery part of the build functional, you can turn this into a retail lot. There are also grocery mods available such as SS realistic cooking mod and the Bulk Grocery Mod. Please keep in mind that I did not follow any requirements for these two mods as the grocery part of the build was made simply for aesthetics and storytelling. You are welcome to make adjustments! ♥We do not have a teaching kitchen venue option in the sims 4, however, the gameplay can be achieve with some imagination! You can turn this into a generic lot and simply have your sims cook/bake together on different stoves simultaneously. ♥Lastly if you want this lot to function as a restaurant, simply change the venue lot type in build mode. I would recommend downloading LittleMsSam's lock mod to lock the testing kitchen's door. This will prevent customers from using the kitchen appliances!
