Lilly comb in a new resin we're currently trialing. This is @sirayatech easy resin. It cleans up really well with just some swishing/rinsing in 91%IPA and handles tiny detail very well as you can see with the tiny stamen on the flowers. Post curing took just a few minutes under an LED UV light. This resin would be suitable for parts that are intended to primer and paint later, or for items where color doesn't matter, but details do. The latter is what we will be using it for. This comb is about 2cm wide, and you can buy a clear version of this through our website! Junk cast pull to clean out the mould of our unicorn horn. White is 3D printed in SLA resin. Purple is the resin cast. I say junk, but aside from some very minor flashing, it's a damn near perfect cast. Candy comb SD (top) & MSD (bottom) I need to make some changes, and adjustments to some of the parts. The lollipop broke off on support removal of the SD comb, this can be remedied by making a thicker stick. One cookie pattern showed in SD, neither showed in MSD, but this was expected. May make a small position change to the wrapped bonbon and gummie bear as the wrapped makes it look like the bear has a growth. I might also upsize both sets by 5% or so just to give the various candy a bit more presence and larger scale. A much closer look at the detail on the Liliy comb. The stamen are all free standing. Each Lilly is roughly 8mm which puts the stamen well under 1mm.
